Started From The Bottom Now I'm Here 《Chapter 2》
I remember the first day I was being sent of to Kindergarten. My mom had waited with me in line and when the bell rung she leaned down and gave me a kiss goodbye.
I was screaming and crying for her to come back, she gave me a small wave and pursed smile. The teacher picked me up as my mom sped out of the school and the teacher walked me in.
As I sat on the alphabet carpet she sat there as well telling me everything will be alright and my mom would be here soon. She gave me a juucebox and goldfish.
I sat there a little girl with big cheecks, dirty blonde ponytails one on each side. I was in a cute little dress sipping out of the little straw with red eyes and a runny nose.
That day I waited two hours with the teacher till my mom came and when she did she got me and sent me home with a babysitter.
I was so young and little just starting school. And now I am a freshmen in college ready for anything that comes my way.

I wake up and put on a romper and matching heels preparing myself for a day I have no clue of the ending.
Every day is like a new chapter in a book, and your and your life is the book, you never know the ending.
I walk off the room walking to my first class for the day which is cooking. I'm going to try to get a job at the gourmet eatery on the campus.
I walk outside to a poisonous sunlight that seeps into my skin. My job has turned to me wanting to be a baker, I did some reaserch here and there over summer.
I arrive at the buiding and walk up to an empty chef station in the front. I see people fill in the last seven and five minutes later the main chef walks in.
"Hello, everyone is now under my authority in my kitchen!" He yells, and then he clears his throat. "Today ae will be preparing a tarte of your choice out of the options. If you succeed then tomorrow you'll get a specail advantage. Fail and you'll have no mercy. Treat every day like it's a day in a real resturaunt kitchen. Meaning don't screw up." He says.
"Questions?" He asks crossing his arms, no hands are raised and he nods getring behind his station. He washes up and begins.
I start on the dough for the crust like the chef is doing. He is white with muscles, sleeve tattoos, icy blue eyes, a beard, and messy hair from sleep. He looks twenty three, his stare sets on me and I look down adding some sugar to the doe crust.

I put my little tarte on my cleaned station for inspection that includes taste and sight. He gets two bites with a fork and furrows his eyes chewing.
"Pretty good, but needs a bit more sweetness in the filling." He says, I nod and he walks to a new station.
He stands there and takes a bite, a groggy and disgusted look on his face. "What is this, you expect me to like this garbage. It's raw, and bland, and the fruit is cut improperly!" He yells.
I look at the mess of a creation in the pie tin and frown at the sad little thing. And pitty for the person who is still being yelled at.
The man walks away and insults and compliments the rest of the dishes. I clean up my station and head to an english class.
My stomach growls in hunger as I clench it wishing I had eaten something. But I didn't, the smell of food somehow lingers in the air and makes me frown as I still walk sad and hungry.
I walk up some wide large stairs and here my heels clicking on them. I get in my class and see people everywhere.
A tired air fills the room as I find my seat. I slide into one and a guy sits by me checking me out. I look at him disgusted.
He is chubby with a brown sweater and brown curls on top of his head. He's white with fat red cheeks and dark blue bellbottoms.
He holds his hand out and I smack it, he laughs. "I wanted a handshake but that'll do." He says, I smile "Carmella." I say.
"Mark Hebrews." He says, "are you Hebrew? Not to be... rude." I say. He shakes his head and looks foward as the teacher tries grabbing our attention.
"Hello class, I am glad to have met your acquaintance. Everyone please grab a pen, pencil, quail and ink, and notebook." He says, people shuffle around in their bags and set things on their desks.
The guy next to me, Matt, looks at me. "Do you per say have a boyfriend?" He asks with a shy smile, a shocked expression forms on my face.
"Oh, um, yah. I'm sorry, look if you want I can try to hook you up with my roomate." I say, he shakes his head and looks at his paper.

I sit at a table with Zach and he opens the menu looking for a meal. We decided to visit the gourmet restaurant on our beautiful Californian campus.
He looks at me, "so how was day one of college?" "Pretty good, but now I'm really hot and tired." I say.
He nods, "and you?" I ask trying to keep the conversation going. "Okay, really weired though, something new that I'll have to adjust to." He says.
I nod and my eyes search the room and then set back on Zach. I'm about to tell him something but I'm inturrupted. "You stole my jewelry!" Somone yells, I look at them totally baffled cause
1. I have no idea who they are.
AND
2.WHAT ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT!
She points to the necklace on me that is gold with a deep violet jewel heart. My mom gave it to me two years ago, so I know for sure it isn't hers.
"No my mom gave it to me two years ago it can't possibly be yours." I say. "Liar, I already dialed 911, they'll be here any minute. You lying A hoe." She says crossing her arms. She snatches it off my neck and stands there glaring.
