After having taken all of the items brought to her by the monks of the temple, Marinette made her way down the mountain.

She had already put everything she could carry in her bag in her burrow aka the place she goes when she is Chang'e, the Rabbit Miraculous.

Chang'e is the goddess of the moon and she is often seen with a bunny. Her story is a tragic as she is separated from her love the moment she finds herself on the moon.

The bunny is often referred to as the Jade Rabbit or Moon Rabbit. This bunny went to the moon as they pitied the lonely and sad Chang'e.

Here's a hot take: Chang'e and the jade rabbit being one and the same. Two separate parts of one body; the human and the godly parts. The rabbit being the human part and Chang'e as the godly part.

Marinette feels that the best way to go about her new life is to find a safe place to call home. She is unsure if she wants to go back to Tibet, but that is the origin of her magic.

Goes into a hotel to stay a few days as she looks for her permanent base when she isn't getting a lay of the lands of this strange world.

Her room isn't big or impressive, but it was clean enough for her. She closed the currents and sets up a barrier to sound proof the room.

She takes the miracle box out and a few Kwami's fly out to look a round the room and talk. Tikki huddles into Marinette's arms with a smile.

"Guardian, what shall we do? We know nothing of the world.", asked Wazz.

"Don't worry, kaalki and I will scope out a the perfect home for us that no one will know about.", said Marinette.

Roarr finds a spot on the bed to sleep on. Mullo circles Roarr before cuddling up to Roarr and sleeping as well.

Plagg floats up to Marinette's face. Plagg demands they eat.

"Ugh.... Let me check if the currency is the same.", said Marinette.

Marinette took a moment to fold into herself as Fasting can be painful. She was hungry. The Kwami that were a wake floated up to her in worry.

"I'm fine, seems I'm hungry too.", replied Marinette.

Marinette looked through her phone and got the answers she wanted.

One- the currency is the same

Two- the websites are different

Three- she will need a thorough search of history

Four- there are different heroes and villains

Five- there is no five

"Okay, hopefully I have something in my bag to eat because I can't do anything right now.", admitted Marinette.

Plagg patted her shoulder and consoled her. Daizzi rummaged through the miracle box for something to give Marinette. Barkk helped by finding a few fresh buns and they both dragged the buns out.

Marinette ate the buns and the Kwami went to sleep on the bed after she finished. She locked her room and put up another barrier before sleeping herself.

The next few days went by until they stumbled upon a hidden temple in Tibet. Marinette cleaned the place up with the Kwami's help before moving in.

"Now that we have a home, all of you can move a round the place freely. No need to hide since it's just us!", chirped Marinette.

P.S. here is an attempt at the Peacock Miraculous. Female peacocks are duller in color so I tried a more muted pallet.

Marinette is not evil and obviously the peacock is not broken anymore. I'm not 100% on the colors and this is a try. I still can't figure out a name but I think Madame Huáng or Petite Huáng is neat.

I have no clue on the name so for now she is called by the Chinese form of peahen, Kōngqué. (Uh I didn't know how to use foreign versions of letters so correct me when I'm wrong)

I think I was too heavy on the makeup. Oh well.
