...

"You are not going to Mexico." Noah denies after Stiles and Y/n told him what had happened.

"Dad, Scott and Kira have been kidnapped and taken to Mexico. Okay? I think that's a pretty good reason for a trip to Mexico."

Noah sighs as he moves to stand behind his desk, leaning on the paper covered surface. "Even if Deaton is right about this-"

"Yeah."

"-the best thing to do is to go through the proper channels."

"Dad-"

"That means calling the right law enforcment agencies, border patrol, putting out an all-points."

"To be fair, Sheriff, this isn't exactly your average nabbing." Y/n said. "This is a werewolf and a kitsune snagged by a werejaguar and taken to the temple of Tezcatlipoca to possibly perform a supernatural ritual." Noah just blinked at her for a moment making her shrug and Stiles intervine.

"Dad, I can't just wait around for the wheels of bureaucracy to start spinning in five different government offices. Okay? Someone needs to go down there right now, find them and rescue them. I'm going."

"I can keep you from going."

"I'd find a way."

"I can throw you in a cell."

"Y/n could bust me out." The two Stilinski's looked at her then, one challenging and one hopeful, and she raised her hands in defense.

"Don't look at me. I'm not confirming or denying that statement."

Noah sighs and he paces towards the door again. "Stiles, please. Just give me a little more time to verify something slightly more concrete than a psychic vision by some guy with a third eye!" He gestured to his forehead in frustration before sighing again. "Look, I will call every law enforcment agency all the way down to South America if I have to. If nothing turns up, then I'll book two flights to Mexico. We'll both go. Okay?"

Stiles nodded. "Okay, okay, great. Do I get a gun?"

Noah and Y/n both give him a look. "No." They said at the same time.

...

Stiles has decided to go behind his father's back and go to Mexico anyways with the pack. Now he, Y/n and Malia are in Scott's house trying to find something with Scott's scent so it's easier to find him when they get to La Iglesia. Stiles rummages through Scott's closet and tosses a shirt to Malia. "Here, try that."

Malia sniffs the shirt only to shake her head. "Fabric softener."

Stiles thinks for a moment and rushes to the bathroom, digging through the clothes hamper and grabs a pair of Scott's underwear, holding it out to the girls. The sisters share a look of disgust at the prospect. "Remember, Scott's life is on the line."

Y/n shakes her head and turns around, grabbing a pillow from Scott's bed and giving it a quick sniff, confirming that it had his scent on it. "Stiles, you should really think about using that big, beautiful brain of yours sometimes." She says as Malia also sniffs at the pillow.

"Yeah. That works, too." The girls follow him down the stairs and find Liam waiting for them in the kitchen. "Oh! Liam, go home. You're not coming with us."

"Why not?" Liam asked.

"Because it's a full moon. And I don't feel like driving all the way down to Mexico just to have you rip my throat out."

"You can lock me up, right? Chain me down in the back seat or something?"

"You tore through the last chains, remember?" Malia reminded.

"Yeah, we would have to freeze you in carbonite to get you down there." Stiles said.

Liam shrugged like it wasn't a big deal. "Okay, then where do we get carbonite?"

"Oh, no." Y/n muttered, closing her eyes as she could already imagine the look on Stiles' face at this.

"Seriously, you haven't seen it either?" Stiles asked before turning to leave the kitchen, only to have Liam get in their way again.

"Wait! What if we put me in the trunk?"

"You'd get out of that, too." Malia said.

"Liam, this is only your second full moon, you haven't been a werewolf that long." Y/n gently reminded. "You don't have to do this."

"I know I don't, but I want to. There's gotta be bigger chains, a bigger trunk or something. There has to be."

Stiles thought for a moment, getting an idea. "Maybe there is." The bigger something turned out to be a prison transport van which had been procured by Braeden. She pulled up to the others in a warehouse with a screech and climbed out. "How did you get a prison transport van?" He asked her.

"I'm a U.S. Marshal."

"Yeah, I thought that was just a cover."

She just smiled at him before they all turned to see the Hale men get out of another car. "Are we really bringing him?" Derek asked, gesturing to Liam.

"Are we really bringing him?" Stiles gestured to Peter.

"We're bringing everyone that we can." Peter countered. "And considering Scott and Kira were taken the night before a full moon, we should probably get going."

"What does that mean?" Y/n asked.

"If Kate took Scott back to the same temple that she took Derek, how do we know she's not planning to do the same thing to him?"

"What, she wants to make him younger?" Liam questioned.

"Or take him back to when he wasn't a werewolf." Derek mused.

"A werewolf can't steal a True Alpha's power." Peter started. "But maybe a Nagual jaguar, with the power of Tezcatlipoca behind her... Maybe she can. So, if everyone is sufficiently freaked out, I say we get going."

"We can't yet." Y/n denied. "We have to wait for Lydia. She's at the school so she shouldn't be much longer." While Y/n meant it, it turned out to be a falsehood as some time had passed and there was still no sign of Lydia. Y/n was trying to call her for the umpteenth time.

"What's she doing at the school anyway?" Derek asked.

Malia held up Kira's sword. "We got Kira's sword, but we need something with a stronger scent. Lydia went to get a jacket out of her locker."

Just then Y/n huffed as she hung up. "She's still not answering."

"If she has a car, she can catch up to us." Braeden pointed out.

Peter pointed to her. "That's a good point. We'll call her from the road."

"No, something's wrong." Y/n said. "I've got a bad feeling about this."

"Fine. He can stay and find her." He pointed to Stiles. Y/n frowned a bit at Peter. He seemed too eager to get going, wanting to 'save' Scott and Kira. Maybe she was overthinking it, maybe he was genuinely trying to do something good. But there was just something about it that rubbed her the wrong way.

"I could call Mason." Liam offered. "He has a study group at school. Maybe he could look for her."

Y/n hesitated for a moment but nodded. "All right. Just tell him to be careful." With that agreed the group got ready to depart for Mexico. Stiles pulled Malia and Y/n aside.

"We need to be back there with Derek and Liam. We've got some experience dealing with out-of-control teen wolves. You'll be okay with Peter?" Stiles asked Malia.

"He is my father. Maybe we could do some bonding."

"He doesn't seem like the bonding type." Y/n said. "Maybe keep the talking to a minimum for now."

"Play the radio, play it loud." Stiles added and Malia nodded. The sisters shared a smile as they went back to the group.

"Remember what we're dealing with." Peter spoke up before they could get into the cars. "It's not just Kate, it's berserkers. You might see human eyes behind those skulls. Do not assume there's any humanity left." Liam averted his gaze. "Oh. This little one is terrified of them, aren't you. Don't worry, my friend. It is that fear that will keep you alive. A reminder to everyone. You do not fight berserkers to survive, you fight to kill." With that thrilling speach Malia and Peter got into his car while Braeden got behind the wheel of the van, Y/n, Stiles, Derek, and Liam getting into the back.

While on the road, after Liam called Mason, Y/n and Derek handcuffed him to chains on the holding bar. "All good?" Derek asked. Liam tested the reach, his hands not being able to go more the two feet in any direction. "Okay. I brought something to help you." Derek reached into his jacket pocket, pulling out the Hale's wooden talisman.

"The Triskelion." Y/n muttered.

"This has been in my family for centuries. It's a very powerful, supernatural talisman. We use it to teach Betas how to control themselves on a full moon." He handed the disk to Liam. He turned to Stiles then, who had been wearing a look that said he didn't believe a thing Derek was saying, prompting the man to gesture with his eyes.

Stiles seemed to get the hint as he agreed with Derek. "Yes, it's powerful. Very powerful." His tone wasn't very confident, but it was believable enough. They drove in silence after that, the time seemingly flying by in an instant as the sun set and the moon began it's climb.

Suddenly Liam yanked at his chains making Stiles jump and the cousins look at the Beta. Liam's breath was starting to pick up, his clawed hands clutching the Triskelion. "Whatever you're gonna teach me..." He looked up at them as his eyes shifted. "I think you better start." He looked away again as he tried to calm down.

"Liam, you with me?" Derek asked, prompting Liam to look up. "We have a mantra that we use. You repeat it, you focus on the words. It's like meditating. You say the words until you feel control coming back to you."

"Okay. Okay, okay! What are the words?" Liam's voice was strained.

"Okay, look at the Triskelion. See the symbol? I have a tattoo on my back, it's the same thing. Each spiral means something."

"Alpha, Beta, Omega." Y/n recited.

"It represents the idea that we can always rise to one and fall back to another. Betas can become Alphas."

"Alphas can become Betas." Stiles added.

"Can Alphas become Omegas?" Liam asked.

Derek nodded. "All you have to do is say the three words. And with each one, you tell yourself you're getting calmer, more in control. Go ahead."

"Alpha, Beta-" Liam started to say it quickly when Derek stopped him.

"Slower."

Liam took a breath. "Alpha... Beta... Omega." He groaned from the pull of the moon. "Alpha... Beta... Omega."

"Good. Say it again. Remember, every time you say the words, you're getting calmer."

"Alpha... Beta... Omega." Instead of getting calmer, Liam seemed to be getting more agitated, his voice starting to distort as the change came. This made Stiles hum in discomfort and climb further up into his seat, inching as far away as he could from the young Beta.

"Say it again."

"Derek, I don't think that powerful talisman of self-control is working." Stiles pointed out, just as Liam started to growl, his eyes shifting and fangs growing.

"Liam, say it again!" Derek ordered, but his only response was Liam roaring and throwing up his arms causing the van to rock as Braeden fought the vehicle for control. The chains were no match for the raging wolf as one of them snapped, freeing an arm. He lunged for Derek only to be stopped by Y/n, her eyes glowing as well as she used her magic to keep him at bay.

"Derek?" Braeden called.

"I think we're gonna need to go a little faster!" Stiles yelled in return.

"Keep going!" Derek yelled to Braeden. The other chain snapped and Y/n caught Liam's other wrist as well as he kept lunging for Derek. "Liam! Liam!"

"We're almost there!" Braeden informed as Derek tried to get through to Liam.

"Keep focus!"

"Derek, Alpha, Beta, Omega means nothing to him!" Y/n yelled, her voice strained as she held Liam back. "It's only agitating him! You want him to meditate, it needs to have meaning!"

"You know any other mantras?"

"Acutally, yes. Liam! Liam, listen to me. What three things cannot long be hidden?" He had stilled for a moment as he listened to her, but then he roared again. "Liam, look at me! What three things cannot long be hidden? You know this! What are they?" Her words seemed to get through to him, making him pant as he tried to calm down.

"The sun... The moon... The truth." He didn't push as hard against her grip.

"There you go. Say it again."

He grunted as he started to gain control. "The sun... The moon... The truth." Y/n was able to let him go as he sat back again, steadily getting calmer by the second.

"Derek?" Braeden called again.

"We're okay." He assured.

"The sun... The moon... The truth." Liam repeated, eyes shifted back and fangs and claws gone. True to Braeden's word they soon pulled up to La Iglesia. "I can't believe I did it." Liam huffs a laugh. "For a minute there, I thought I was gonna tear you guys apart."

Stiles nodded. "Yeah. That would have made for an awkward ride home. So, thanks."

"Think you can bring the same level of control and strength inside La Iglesia?"

Instead of words Liam made his claws show, a good sign that he has enough control. "Good job, Liam." Y/n praised with a smile, making the boy smile back.

"All right. We might actually be able to do this." Stiles said.

Derek got up and opened the back door, only to come face-to-face with a berserker just before the beast pulled him out and threw him on the ground. "Derek!" Y/n yelled, climbing out as fast as she could as the berserker picked up the Hale, held him to a broken down wall, and stabbed him with a bone knife several times. Y/n rushed forward, getting close enough to the berserker to slam her hands against it's chest, using her magic to throw it back. Derek slid down to the ground, Y/n and Braeden kneeling next to him while the others could only stand in shock. Blood was already coating Derek's mouth, more staining his fingers as Braeden checked his wounds. Y/n glanced at Braeden, feeling the worry, the fear, the emotion she had for the man.

"How bad is it?" Peter asked.

"I'm fine, I'm fine." Derek quickly said. "Just get to Scott."

"I can heal you." Y/n argued. She didn't want to lose him. Not when she barely found him, one of the last blood relatives she had left. And not with the woman who cared about him right next to her. But Derek stopped her hands before they could touch the wounds.

"Don't waste your energy on me. You need it for Scott. Just find him. We'll be right behind you. Go." No one moved, Y/n wanting to argue more, but he spoke firmer this time. "Go!" Reluctantly Peter made his way into the ruins, Malia and Liam following.

Y/n shook her head at him. "No, I'm not leaving you here." She wasn't going to let Lydia's prediction come true. She couldn't.

"Y/n, you need to save Scott." Derek took her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. "Save him." Y/n clenched her jaw, her lips drawing into a line not wanting to give in. Derek looked to Stiles, and he got the hint. Stiles went to Y/n and put his hands on her arms, gently pulling her up and she let him. She knew she was wasting time, time for Scott and time for Derek, but she could only help one, and he was making her choose Scott. Stiles took her hand and led her to the entrance of La Iglesia where the others were waiting for them, her eyes not leaving her cousin until a wall blocked her sight.

The five picked up their pace and rushed through the old passages until Peter stopped them. "Okay, everyone stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. We gotta figure out where we are, then we gotta figure out how to find Scott and Kira."

Stiles' phone started ringing and he pulled it out to see his dad was calling. "How do I even have service..." He muttered before answering. "Hi, Dad." Peter gave the teens a look as Stiles moved to the side. "Okay, Dad, I know you're angry."

"Ohh, I'm beyond angry. I've reached a level of fury that you could not possibly comprehend."

"Okay, well, when I get back, you can ground me."

"Ground you? Ground you? I am going to hobble you!" There was a beat of silence. "Now, please, tell me you're all right. Tell me you're safe."

"You want me to lie?"

"Oh, God. Okay. Tell me what I can do. How can I help?"

"You can look for Lydia and Mason. She was at the school when we called Mason to look for her but now we're not hearing back from either of them. I don't know, Dad, I don't know what I'm doing. You know, I'm just... I'm trying to save my friends."

"Okay. I'll find Lydia and Mason. You get Scott and Kira. You save your friends."

"Dad, if it's one of the berserkers at the school, you're gonna need a lot of firepower. A lot." With that the Stilinski's hung up and Stiles went back to the others.

"What do we do now?" Liam asked.

Malia's eyes were drawn passed him, and she grabbed the back of his neck, pulling him down with her. "Duck!" A berserker had just lunged for them but they dodged just in time.

"Get down! Go, go, go!" Peter yelled, ushering his daughters and the boys along. "Get back! Go! Go, go, go, go!" They ran through the passages with the berserker hot on their tail. "Go, go, go!" They turned a corner and came to a larger room with pillars and a ritual table.

"Go find Kira and Scott." Malia said, tossing Kira's sword to her sister. "Go."

"Dammit." Y/n muttered as she and Stiles took off in search of their friends leaving the wolves and coyote to face the berserker.

The couple raced through the passages, Stiles using a flashlight to see in the dark corners of the spaces, looking for any sign of Scott and Kira. "Scott?" Stiles yelled, his voice slightly echoing back to them. "Kira?"

Y/n suddenly caught a scent. Under the dust and death that lingered in the air here, she could smell blood. Fresh blood. "This way." She turned a corner and Stiles followed without question. It didn't take long for the artificial light to fall on a bloodied Kira, holding on to a wall to keep herself standing. "Are you okay?" Y/n asked, going to her friend to help.

"It's Scott." Kira rushed out, gripping onto the witch. "Guys, it's Scott."

"What?" Stiles asked for the both of them.

"The berserker. It's him. Kate did it."

"What are you talking about?"

"She made him into one of them. I don't know how, but it's him. If they don't know it, they could kill him."

"Oh, God." Y/n looked at Stiles. "That's why Lydia isn't here."

"They won't know they're killing Scott." He finished her thought.

"We need to go." Together the three rushed back to their friends, retracing the path Y/n and Stiles took to find Kira. All of a sudden Y/n stumbled, legs becoming weak as a sinking feeling found it's way in her chest. She caught herself on the wall, Stiles immediatly noticing something was wrong and doubling back to check on her.

"What is it? What's wrong?"

She couldn't bring herself to answer as she looked up towards the ceiling. Derek was almost dead and she could feel it. But there was something else. Something was happening to him. She didn't know if it was good or bad, but she had to hope that it was good, that what she was feeling wasn't him passing from this world forever. Finally, after what felt like hours yet was only a few moments, Y/n shook it off, forced her legs to work again and straightened herself back up. She had to get to Scott and the others. "I'm fine." Stiles didn't really believe her, but they were running out of time so he just had to take her word for it for now.

Malia, Liam, and Peter had been teaming up on Scottserker, each landing a few hits before they were knocked away. Eventually they had knocked him down for a moment and Peter grabbed a bone knife that had been laying on the ritual table. He tossed it to Malia. "Take it. Aim for the skull!" Scottserker got back up and charged. "Kill it! Kill it now!" Peter and Liam caught him by the arms and managed to hold him against a pillar while Malia reared back, ready to take the final blow.

"Malia, stop!" Y/n called, but Malia was already swinging. In a flash Kira's sword was slicing through the air, cutting the bone knife in half and halting Malia's momentum. "It's Scott." Her eyes went to the struggling form of her friend. "It's Scott."

Liam furrowed his brows at her before looking at the creature. He looked at his eyes and could finally recognize the Alpha underneath the bone armor. Scottserker slammed Peter and Liam together before throwing them back. Then he punched Malia.

He turned, his sights now set on Liam who was trying to scramble away. "Scott? Scott, don't!" Kira called.

Stiles stepped forward to stop his friend. "Scott, it's me." Stiles was backhanded and he hit the ground with a thud.

"Scott, stop!" Y/n got in front of him, eyes glowing as she used her magic to try and hold him back, but he managed to grab her, headbutt her, and throw her to the side.

"Scott, don't!" Kira yelled again as he grabbed Liam by the neck and held him against a pillar.

Liam looked down at Scott's eyes, seeing them hard and uncaring. But he remembers when they were warm as he spoke to the young boy kindly. "Scott." His voice was strained and he grunted in pain as he was pushed further up the pillar. Scottserker reared back his other arm, ready to strike with a bone spike bracer. "Scott, Scott, listen, listen, listen!" Liam yelled, succeeding in stilling his movements. "You're not a monster! You're a werewolf! Like me." He could see Scott's brows furrow before he lowered his arm. His eyes suddenly squeezed shut, letting Liam go as he backed away. He shook his head, raising his hands to grip the animal skull obscuring his features. Everyone stood and watched as he backed up a bit further and noticed the armor on him. He quickly pulled each piece off, letting them hit the dirt floor, before he reached up to the mask again. He gripped it between his hands and started to pull it apart, the cracks glowing as Scott faught the power keeping it together. With a mighty roar Scott's shifted face was finally revealed again.

He let the broken mask fall from his hands as his eyes settled a glare at Peter. "You." Everyone turned to look at Peter, who didn't look surprised, or relieved to see Scott. Maybe a little disappointed he's not dead, but still had his head held up.

"Malia, come here." Y/n quietly called, not wanting Malia to stand so close to him anymore. This is what she had been feeling earlier, why he was so gung-ho about coming here. He was planning it.

Malia listened to the older girl, taking a few steps away from Peter and closer to Y/n, as Scott continued to talk. "The only one who knew as much as Argent about berserkers. About the Nagual. You taught Kate. You helped her. All for power."

"For my family's power." Peter argued. "To be rightfully inherited by me. Not usurped by some idiot teenage boy, so incorruptible, he won't shed the blood of his enemies even when justified. You don't deserve your power." His eyes shifted. "Not power like this." Then his face shifted, skin becoming a pale blue and features turning more animalistic than a normal werewolf. Malia growled and lunged for Peter but he easily hit her aside making her land roughly on a stone slab.

"Malia!" Y/n looked at her sister in worry.

"Oh, sorry, sweetheart, we'll talk about this later."

"You son of a bitch!" Y/n growled, glaring at Peter as she took a step towards him, but a voice stopped her.

"Y/n!" Scott yelled to make her stop, giving her a look to back down when she glanced at him. Even though she didn't want to, she listened to her Alpha and backed off, going to check on Malia instead.

Scott and Peter slowly paced, sizing each other up, ready for the impending fight. "You were my Beta first, Scott. It was my bite that changed your life. And my bite that can end it."

"Then, end it, Peter. Because you won't get another chance." Peter and Scott roared before leaping at each other, colliding in mid air. The two werewolves began to trade blows while the others kept out of their way. For a moment Y/n forgot about the battle in front of her, her head tilting up as she felt Derek again. He was alive and her lips twicthed up in relief. In fact, he was more than alive, he was evolved.

Her attention was brought back to the people in front of her, Scott flipping up from the ground where he had been knocked down to take a swing at Peter again. He goes for another, one that Peter blocks as he in turn punches Scott in the stomach. Scott fell to a knee, hitting Peter before being hit with an uppercut. Scott flips backwards like a gymnast to get onto his feet again. Peter roars and swings, Scott blocks with his forearms leaving him open to be punched with Peter's other fist. Scott flipped out of the way of another hit.

"Come on, Scott." Peter growled. "Come on!" Peter caught Scott's fist and hit him in the stomach before grabbing him and throwing him into a pillar. "Come on." Peter muttered, grabbing Scott by the back of the neck and throwing him into another pillar. "Fight like an Alpha, Scott." He picked Scott up and held him against a pillar. Scott pushed against him as they turned, Scott using a pillar as leverage to climb up and around Peter to throw him into a pillar instead. Scott slammed his fist into Peter's chest a couple of times while he was on his back before he picked him up. They struggled for a moment until Peter headbutted him, grabbed the back of his neck and smirked. Then he punched Scott a couple of times, getting him down to a knee again. "You want to defeat me? You're going... to have... to kill me!" He growled as he threw Scott yet again across the room.

Liam shifted closer, wanting to help, and this caught Peter's attention. He grabbed an old church bench and threw it towards the young Beta. Liam crouched down to duck away, covering his head to protect from debris, but when he didn't hear or see a crash he looked up. The bench was hovering in mid-air, a faint purple shimmer around it. Liam looked up to Y/n, who had suddenly appeared next to him, her eyes glowing as she glared at Peter and tossed the bench safely aside. Scott watched as Peter growled and took a step towards them, getting back to his feet and pulling the man's attention back from his pack. Peter growled again as Scott stood up and went for a swing, Scott deflecting his fists each time he swung now. Mess with him, fine, he can defend himself. But mess with his friends, his pack? It's a different type of Scott you're fighting. The True Alpha. Peter swiped again and this time Scott ducked to jab Peter in the ribs. Then he gave Peter an uppecut, sending the Hale flying over the ritual table and into some old benches. Scott hopped onto the table, standing tall to look down on Peter.

"You were never an Alpha, Peter. But you were always a monster." Peter growled at this, starting to get back up, but Scott lept down, using his momentum to deliver one last punch that knocked the man out.

...

The sun shined light on La Iglesia, signaling the end of a night of battle, and the start of a new day. The berserkers have all been taken care of, Kate has run away, and Peter has been subdued. "There's enough yellow wolfsbane to keep Peter out for the trip back." Chris toid Scott. "But be careful."

"You're really going with them?" Scott asked, glancing at the Calaveras behind Chris.

"I made a deal with the Calaveras weeks ago. They'll leave you alone. All of you. But only if I help them catch Kate."

"What if you can't?" Kira wondered.

"I'll find her. Someone has to." He gave them a small smile before he turned and left with the Mexican Hunters.

Scott looked at Y/n and Stiles as they, Malia, and Liam came to stand by him as they watch them leave. Four of them walked away, leaving Y/n and Scott as they caught sight of Derek. Derek gave Scott a little smile and a small nod which Scott returned. Y/n looked at Scott, telling him she'll be back before she went over to talk to Derek. "You scared me, you know." She said as she stood in front of him.

He raised his brows in mock surprise. "Wow, the great witch was scared for me?" Y/n rolled her eyes but still smiled at his joking.

"I thought I was losing my new favorite cousin, sue me."

He nodded in understanding and glanced at the prison van that Peter was in. "Are you gonna keep talking to him?"

She sighed as she thought about it. "A bit, yeah. I kinda feel like I have to. I made a promise, you know?"

"What if he's not what M/n thought he was?"

"That's for me to find out, I guess. Who knows, he might miraculously surprise us by actually doing something good for once. Only time will tell."

"Just be careful, yeah? I wouldn't want to hear my new favorite cousin got hurt."

She chuckled. "You too." Her eyes flicked over to Braeden as she got ready to leave. "So, you and Braeden, huh?"

She smirked up at Derek who couldn't help but smile and nod a bit. "Yeah, me and Braeden."

"Good. At least now I know your taste in women isn't totally hopeless." The cousins shared a laugh together, one of the last ones for a while as Derek was leaving. "Don't be a stranger, okay? Call me sometimes."

"I will." He promised and pulled her into a surprise hug.

...

The first thing Stiles did when they got back to Beacon Hills was go to his dad at the station. Noah rushed out of his office as soon as he saw Stiles with Y/n and Malia trailing behind, the two Stilinski's colliding in an embrace. "Dad, you smell terrible."

"Yup. You do too." They patted each other on the back before pulling apart and looking at the sisters. "Hey, girls." Noah quietly greeted, holding a hand out to them to join the hug. Malia looked a bit surprised, but Y/n smiled, readily going to join the group hug while pulling Malia along. Noah smiled at all three of them when they pulled away. "I'm just so glad you're all safe." He turned to the sisters. "Hey, what do you say we get outta here, get something to eat?"

"Great. I'm starving." Stiles happily agreed.

"Okay." Noah smiled, putting an arm behind each girl's back and gently leading them away.

Stiles went to follow only to be stopped by the cuffs his dad had put on him that chained him to a desk. "Yo, Daddy?" The girls looked behind them, Malia confused while Y/n just snickered.

"What's your favorite food, Y/n?"

"Pizza." She grinned.

"Hey, Dad?" Stiles called again. Noah only glanced at him before ignoring him. "Y/n? Help?"

"Sorry, hun, you're on your own for this one." She waved over her shoulder with an amused smile.

"Bring me back a slice?"

...

"Then Stiles and Y/n said that Scott and Kira were stuck in Mexico which is why they missed the game. Uh, so we went down to Mexico to drive them back from Mexico and that's why we all missed practice. 'Cause... We were all... In Mexico." Liam finished lamely as Coach stared intensely at him.

"Yeah." Coach muttered, glancing at Y/n, Stiles, and Scott who were standing nearby. "You took Kira on a date to Mexico?" He asked Scott.

"It was our first real date."

"In Mexico?"

"They wanted to do something special." Stiles added.

"Okay. I believe you."

"Really?" Liam's voice went higher in surprise.

"Absolutely not. But I've had experiences south of the border that would knock the genitals off you boys. You could probably handle it though." He directed to Y/n before looking at the boys again. "Still, let me be clear to you two. This kid's the best talent I've seen in years. So he's your responsibility now. You boys are gonna stick together. You're gonna look out for each other. And you're gonna have each other's backs. You got it?"

Scott smiled and nodded. "We got it." Liam smiled at the older boy.

"L/n, you're gonna keep your eye on them because, between you and me, they're unreliable." Y/n hid a snicker behind her hand, the look on Scott's and Stiles' face extremely amusing, before she nodded.

"You got it, Coach." She smiled at the boys.

YOU GUYS. SEASON 4 IS DONE. HOW IS EVERYONE?
I have so much planned for 5a and 5b that I have been very excited about for a while now 😆 What are you looking forward to in the coming season? Anything you're particularly looking forward to and/or dreading?

Also, I'm going to be updating the intro gifs, fixing the earlier ones up a bit and making them a bit better and adding watermarks to all of them. If you have the original gifs saved somewhere, somehow, I would appreciate it if you could delete them as I'm not comfortable with the idea that they are not watermarked. Please and thank you. After I've updated them you can save them again, I won't mind after they have a watermark.

I'm going to be taking two weeks off, give myself some time to catch up on writing and to get the intro gifs updated. So I will see you all in the beginning of April! Thank you for being here 🥰
