(Guess who's back babey 😆)

...

Scott, Y/n, and Derek run as fast as they can off of the roof and through the hospital to get to the parking lot, but when they get there they find Kira in the middle of a large puddle of water that the wire had fallen in and started to electrify. She was perfectly fine. The wire wiggled in front of her face and she grabbed it. She took her other hand and put it over the sparking end, turning the electricity into foxfire and absorbing it. She looked up at the three with fiery glowing eyes. They shift back after a moment and she lets the now dead wire fall to the ground as people start to clamor around. Derek looks to the ground and spots Isaac who had pushed Allison out of the way of being electrocuted only to get shocked himself.

"Isaac?" He called and felt his neck for a pulse. "He's not breathing." He looked up at Y/n and Scott. "Guys, he's not breathing!" Isaac was rushed inside to be treated and Kira's mother took her away. They found out that Stiles had disappeared and someone had seen his Jeep leaving the hospital. Derek pulled the two aside and insisted that they had to tell Noah what was really wrong with Stiles. After everything calmed down Scott took Y/n home and went home himself.

She just stood in the dark for a few minutes, leaning against her front door. Alan wouldn't come find her and comfort her after she told him what happened, lead her back to her room and assure her things would be okay. He was somewhere in Japan trying to get something that would buy them all more time to help Stiles, but she was scared that it was starting to become too late.

She eventually made it up to her room herself, sluggishly changing into night clothes and laying in bed. She didn't think she could sleep, but the stress from the past few days and her lack of sleep the night before has turned into exhaustion and pulled her into the darkness of unconsciousness.

She laid on her bed, eyes closed and breathing relaxed, when there was a shift on her sheets, the bed dipping down in front of her. She felt someones fingers move some hair from her face and neck. Her eyes opened at this and she looked up to see the boy she loved. "Stiles?"

He smiled at her. "Thank you for opening the door." His smile turned dark. "If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have been able to be here."

She bolted upright in her bed, breathing heavily and looking around. There was no one there. She was alone. It was just a dream. But that still didn't make her feel any better. She didn't go back to sleep that night, afraid she would see him again and see the usually bright brown eyes she loved be tainted with the darkness inside. She didn't sleep the two days after, either. The stress and worry made her retreat inward, keeping to herself and avoiding people. She didn't answer any calls or messages from Scott and that worried him.

He showed up at her door in the morning and when she opened it he looked at her with concerned eyes. She had dark circles under her eyes and she looked drained. "Y/n, have you slept at all?" His tone of voiced told her how concerned he was for her.

"Not really, but I'll be fine." She brushed off with a light smile, trying to make him feel better about her well being.

She was one of his best friends, and he could read her pretty easily. He knew she wasn't fine, but he also knew how stubborn she could be, so he decided to let it be for now. "Well, I was gonna go visit Isaac with my mom before school. I thought you'd want to see him as well."

She nodded quickly. "Let me get my stuff and I'll be right out."

Soon enough the three made it to the hospital and to the third floor where Isaac was being treated. They found Allison asleep in one of the chairs in front of his door. Scott lightly touched her shoulder and she startled awake to look up at him. "Have you been here all night?"

She nodded as she sat up. "Yeah, they won't let me see him because I'm not family. I told them he doesn't have any."

"He's got us." Melissa claimed and held up a card. "And I've got a key card." Melissa swiped the card and the door to Isaac's room slid open. "Be quick." She told them.

The teens walked in and saw Isaac asleep. He had electrical burns on the right side of his face and arm. Allison frowned at the sight and she grabbed Scott's hand for support. The three made their way to the Beta's bedside, Y/n on his left across from her friends, and looked at his sleeping form, taking in the extent of the damage. "I thought he'd be healing by now." Allison said.

"So did I." Scott agreed.

"Some injuries take longer to heal, or sometimes something extra." Y/n said, looking sadly at Isaac.

Scott put his hand on Isaac's arm. "Is he in pain?" Allison asked.

Scott nodded, glancing back at her, and then held onto him a bit more firmly. The veins in Scott's hand turned black as he absorbed some of Isaac's pain, grimacing and gasping at the extent of what he was feeling. "It won't heal him, but it helps with the pain."

Even though she was sleep deprived, and this probably wasn't a great idea in her state, she decided to help some as well. Her eyes glowed and she gently touched her fingers to his head. She couldn't heal him, but she could also help with pain and encourage his own healing. She closed her eyes and pressed a light kiss to his forehead. It wasn't necassary, but he was her friend, and a bit of affection always helps in healing.

"Did Stiles really do this?" Allison asked.

Y/n looked at the girl. "It wasn't Stiles. He would never do this to his friends. It's that thing inside of him." Her tone was angry, but Allison knew that anger wasn't directed at her.

"Well, then how do we get whatever's inside of him the hell out of him?"

Scott shared a look with the witch as he answered. "We're working on it."

Scott took Y/n to school after they were done seeing Isaac. She went from class to class almost like a ghost. She couldn't focus on anything. It would probably mess with her grades, but once all of this mess was over she would be able to pick it back up again. She was walking through the halls when she heard something. It was one of Chris Argent's emitters, she'd recognize that sound anywhere. She rushed through the halls and found Scott near the locker rooms with Ethan and Aiden.

"You hear that, right?" She asked Scott and he nodded.

"How can you hear it?" Aiden asked. She just shook her head at him, no time to explain what she didn't even really know herself.

"It's coming from the basement." Ethan said and the four quickly made their way down there. They looked around and found someone standing there. The person turned and revealed it to be Stiles holding the emitter. Y/n furrowed her brows when she saw him. She should have been able to feel him if he was this close to her. Maybe it was just because her lack of sleep. But if that was the case, why wasn't she relieved to see him? If anything she was a little more tense.

"Okay, I know what you guys are thinking, but it's me." Stiles said. "I swear to God, it's me." Ethan and Aiden didn't care though as they half shifted with a growl and rushed forward. On instinct she reacted to protect him. She used her magic to create two bands that wrapped around the twins' necks and yanked making them fly back. She placed herself in front of Stiles, hands at her side and eyes blazing. Stiles gave her a look that she didn't see before his eyes flicked back to the Betas.

"Wait, stop." Scott called as they rushed forward again. Scott managed to toss Ethan back and stop Aiden before he reached his friends. "I said, stop!" Aiden turned and snarled at Scott, causing the Alpha to roar in return. Aiden flinched back and looked away, submitting to the order Scott just gave.

When things seemed to be calmed down Scott and Y/n turned to Stiles. Stiles looked at Scott. "It's me, Scott. I swear it's me. I don't know where I've been for the past two days or what I've been doing, but this is me. I promise." He assured the wolf.

"You know what happened at the hospital?" Ethan asked.

"I know more than that." He walked over to a duffle bag on the floor and crouched over it, pulling out a paper. "You see this?" He started to unfolded it and layed it out. "It's a blueprint of the hospital's electrical wiring. You see all these markings in red? That's my handwriting." Scott crouched down next to him and Y/n stood by the Alpha's side. "I know I did this. I caused the accident. And everything in this bag, it's all stuff that could be part of something bigger."

Ethan picked up an electric handsaw. "What the hell have you been up to?"

"I think something worse. A lot worse."

...

Lydia walked through the halls, passing students as she made her way through, but paused when she saw her mother at the other end of the hall talking to Peter Hale. She quickened her pace, trying to see past anyone who walked in front of her, but Peter had walked off before she made it. "Why were you talking to him?" Lydia asked her mother.

"Because he started talking to me. He's from the health department."

"Oh, really? That's what he said?"

"Yes, really. They're scheduling hearing tests with the students."

"Hearing tests? He was talking about hearing?" That made her think of what Y/n was saying, that she needed to listen.

"Yes, hearing." She enunciated. "I'm guessing we should sign you up. He gave me his card." She looked at the paper before Lydia snatched it to see for herself.

She suddenly looked a bit irritated. "Mom, this is a piece of paper with a phone number written on it."

She smirked. "I know. Still got it." She walked off feeling happy with herself and Lydia watched her go, crumpling the paper in her hands.

...

The wolves and witch start going through the bag while Stiles watches. "What the hell were you doing? Building a Terminator?" Aiden asked Stiles.

"Thank you for that." He responded sarcastically.

"Guys, this is a map." Scott said looking at said map.

Ethan reached over and followed a marked line. "Isn't that the cross country trail?"

"That's the Tate car." Y/n said. "Where Malia Tate's family died."

"You mean that's where her father put the steel-jawed traps." Stiles corrected.

"There's a class that's supposed to run through there today." They quickly made their way through the school and to the trail. Scott and Ethan ran through the woods to catch Kira and Danny before they're hurt while Aiden, Y/n, and Stiles took the Jeep and found coach at the end of the trail.

"Coach!"

"Stilinski- whoa." Coach was shocked to see the boy fine after all this time.

"Coach, listen close." They told him that the area was possibly dangerous and that there could be traps lying around that could hurt someone. They ran down the trail and found Scott with Kira, Stiles yelling out for him. "Scott! Stop, stop, stop!" Everyone skid to a stop just as the students started running up. "Everyone, stop!" He yelled. When they did he looked down, finding a large metal ring connected to a chain buried under the leaves. He carefully lifted it up, gathering the length in his hands. When the end of the chain finally was uncovered they found... Nothing. Just a metal ring like at the beginning.

Coach claps. "Congratulations, Stilinski. You found a length of chain. Can somebody now please tell me what the hell's going on?"

Scott watched Coach take a step and spotted a trip wire. "Hey, Coach!" He called out but it was too late, Coach's foot caught the wire and a bolt from a hidden crossbow embedded itself in his stomach.

"Oh, crap." Coach muttered before he fell onto his back and everyone gathered to check on him.

...

Allison followed Lydia up to Derek's loft where the strawberry blonde was going to talk to Peter. Lydia reached to open the door when Allison stopped her. "While it's smart to bring me with you, I still think the rest of this is totally insane."

"I tried to find Stiles and I led everyone into a mental institution. I call that a colossal failure."

"Why don't you just go to Y/n? She knows more about this than anyone."

"She's too busy with everything going on with Stiles. I don't want to add my problems to it. She told me to listen, and I am." Allison gave her an apprehensive look. "Look, I just need to figure this out and he's the only other one besides Y/n offering help."

"Peter doesn't offer help. He offers a chance for you to be maniupulated into giving him what he wants."

"Fine. Let's see what he wants."

Lydia slid open the door. Peter turned from his spot at the window to look at his new arrivals. "The Hunter and the banshee. Ladies, come in."

...

Stiles applies pressure to Coach's wound as the man screams. "Get it out of me! Get it out of me. Get it out of me." He looks at Aiden, Scott, and Y/n with each demand as they kneel next to him. "Oh, my God, I'm going to die. Get it out of me! I'm going to die!"

"Coach, you're not going to die." Stiles assured.

"Taking it out might cause more damage." Y/n tried to tell the man, but he was too panicked to listen.

"I'M GOING TO DIE!"

"It will hurt less if you stop moving, Coach." Aiden said.

"Get that thing out of me!"

"Stay still, Coach. An ambulance is coming."

"Get it out! I'm gonna die!"

Aiden looked up at the crowd around them. "Get back! Get back! Give him some room! Get back!" He waved his arms to coax them back and Ethan and Danny helped make the teens back up.

"Can you heal him at all?" Scott asked Y/n.

She shook her head. "Not with the bolt still in him and not with this many people." Scott took Coach's hand in both of his, his veins showing the pain he was taking to help the teacher. Coach's head falls to the side. "He passed out."

Stiles looks at his shaking hands covered in Coach's blood. "I could have killed him. I could have killed him, right? What if it was his head or his throat?"

"But it wasn't. And he's going to be alright." Scott insisted.

"I think I just heard an ambulance coming." Aiden informed.

The sirens approaching was heard a moment after and Stiles looked up at the sound. "And my dad."

...

"She goes." Peter insisted while looking at Lydia.

Lydia clicked her teeth. "The last time I was in close quarters with you... I almost bled out on a lacrosse field. She stays."

"Do you actually think I was trying to kill you when I bit you?"

"What about almost killing Y/n?"

"Those were minor injuries that she easily healed from. You and her were my backup plan, remember? Not to mention, the bite is what brought out your nascent abilities. You think power like that was going to come out on it's own?"

"Y/n would have figured out what I was and helped me."

"She might have, but then she might not have. Doesn't change the facts, though. I'm the spark that lit your fire, sweetheart."

"You attacked them and nearly killed them." Allison interjected.

"Power doesn't come without a little pain and struggle."

"I didn't ask for it." Lydia denied.

"But you're embracing it now, aren't you? With help from the little witch."

Lydia looked away and Allison spoke up again. "How about the fact that you brainwashed them and used them to bring you back to life?"

"So that I could be here today to help you master your abilities. Just like I helped Y/n unlock more of her magic. Isn't it amazing how it comes full circle?" He smiles at Lydia.

"He's insane. We're leaving." Allison grabbed Lydia's hand and started to pull her out of the loft.

"You haven't been listening have you, Lydia?" He called and this made the girls pause. "Your spiritual sister has tried to tell you, hasn't she? It's not the scream that gives you power. All the scream does is help drown out the noise, allowing you to hear what you really need to. I can help you focus your hearing."

They turned to face him again. "But you want something in return." Allison said more than asked.

"No, I'm dedicating my life to helping out narcissistic teenage girls. Of course I want something in return." He grabbed a wooden cylinder from the table in front of him. He twisted the lid that held a carving of a triskile and opened up the container, tipping it and pouring out five werewolf claws.

...

Coach has been loaded up into the ambulance. Scott and Y/n stand by the Jeep and watch Noah hug Stiles. Y/n frowns at this. There's something that's been bugging her since Stiles showed up. "Scott." She called and he looked at her. "Something's not right."

"What do you mean?"

"He's hardly spoken to me aside from a sentance or two. He's just been addressing you the whole time. He won't even look me in the eye."

"A lot has been happening. Maybe it's just because of stress."

She didn't think so, but she relented for now. "Maybe."

"Scott, you guys better look at this." Ethan called from the back of the Jeep. The two went over and he showed them a box of hardware and wrapping paper.

"This is the same wrapping paper we used for Coach's birthday present." Scott said.

"Wasn't that William Barrow's thing? A bomb made from nails and bolts all wrapped in a birthday present? Where did it go off?"

Y/n remembered the voices she heard that day, the sounds. "On a school bus." They were quick to inform the Sheriff and he in turn informed the school. The teachers quickly got the students away from the bus and Mr. Yukimura urged people away. He stepped on the bus and saw one last student, Jared, who was holding a large, wrapped present. Jared didn't know what it was when he picked it up.

...

"These are the claws of Derek's mother?" Allison asked as she held one up.

"My sister, Talia. Before she died, she stole some memories from me. It's something only a very powerful Alpha can do. Those memories are locked inside of those claws."

"Why would your sister steal memories from you?" Lydia wondered.

"Well, if I remembered the memories, I might be able to tell you."

Lydia placed her hands on the table. "So what am I supposed to do?"

Peter explained what needed to be done, and she started to pace while holding the claws in her hand. "Focus." He said after a bit.

"I am focusing!"

"You're not! I can see the wheels spinning behind your eyes. Your hearing is attuned to a level of the universe no one else but you and Y/n can hear. But only if you're listening."

She turned away from him. "I am trying."

Fed up, Peter started towards her. "Try harder!" Allison stopped him by holding her werewolf taser up to his neck. He looked at her and brandished his claws. All she did was give them an unimpressed look. "Your aunt had one of those. Aunty Kate." He cooed.

"Stop it." Lydia said and Allison glanced at her. "Both of you." But Peter continued.

"Didn't do her much good as I ripped her throat out, did it?"

"She didn't shove it up your-" Allison is cut off by Lydia yelling.

"STOP IT!" She flung her hand out and the claws flew from her hand, embedding themselves in a wooden post making the two back away from each other. It was quiet. And that's when she could hear them. The voices. Her eyes stayed locked on the claws as she slowly walked toward them.

"Lydia?" Peter called. "Lydia, do you hear something? What is it? What are they saying? Is it the memories? What did Talia take from me? Tell me what she knew!"

Lydia was shocked to say the least, eyes wide as she turned to face him. "You're not just an uncle." Peter thought about that for a moment, and his own eyes widened in shock at the implication.

...

Jordan Parrish, a certified HDT with two years in the army under his belt, has taken it upon himself to at least find out if the package poor Jared is holding is real or not until the bomb squad arrives. He distracted Jared with rambles about genetics as he cut the ribbon and carefully pushed the lid back to peek inside the box. What's inside is not what he was expecting and he radio's Sheriff who watches from outside the bus.

"It's not a bomb, sir, but there is something in the box." He grabbed the item and went to the windshield, pressing Noah's name plate against the glass. Scott looks at Y/n and Stiles confused. At the sight of his name plate that came from his office he remembered something. They had gotten some packages ealier that day that were supposed to be spare batteries for the next blackout, but now he realizes what it actually was.

"My God. There is a bomb, but not here." The news was passed to the station and everyone rushed to clear the building, but they weren't fast enough and it went off, injuring many people. It was sunset by the time they got there and Noah immediatly started calling orders. "Get me an ambulance here, at the Sheriff's station. We've got an explosion. We got multiple officers down. Multiple officers down. We need an ambulance A.S.A.P. On the double."

Y/n let out a quiet gasp at the sight of the devestation, Scott not quite able to believe it either. Stiles rushes to a dying deputy's side, looking down as he tries to breathe. "Scott?" He called. "Scott?" Scott and Y/n go around to him and kneel down as well. "Can you do something? Take his pain? Anything to make it easier?"

Scott took the man's shaking hand, concentrating as he tries to help his passing. He sputters a bit more, and then he's gone. Scott gently sets the deputy's hand down. Y/n put a hand over her mouth. As Scott recovers from what he felt Noah instructs the teens to leave. As they start to Kira suddenly shows up with a warning. "The oni. They're coming."

"Stiles, we gotta get you out of here." Scott urged.

...

Peter glares at Lydia as he slowly starts to approach her, making her take steps back to keep the distance. "I said I don't know. I don't know their names, if they're boys or girls or if they're some mutated wolf babies."

"You're lying." He insisted. "Tell me what you know." He grabs her arms roughly. "Tell me. Tell-!" Allison hit him with the taser making him let Lydia go and drop to the ground in pain.

"Now we're leaving." She took Lydia by the hand and led her out of the loft with Peter seething after them.

"LYDIA!"

...

Stiles hastily drives the Jeep through the rain as they make their way to the animal clinic. "It's an animal clinic?" Kira asked from the backseat.

"It's lined with mountain ash. Just like Scott's house." Y/n informed from next to her. She normally sits in front, but, for some reason, she just couldn't bring herself to this time.

"It will buy us some time." Scott agreed.

"But they can get through it?" Stiles asked.

"Eventually."

"Nobody's got any better ideas?" Silence answered his question. "Okay, sure. Animal clinic."

...

Lydia and Allison sat in the brunette's car as they searched through their phones. "I got mine. Did you find yours?" Allison asked.

"Yeah." Lydia had an article about Malia Tate being found after 8 years. She zoomed in on the girl's picture and held her phone next to Allison's, who has a picture of Peter on the screen.

"Peter and Malia?"

"Father and daughter." She pulled up another picture on her phone and held it next to Allison's again.

"And you're positive that this is right?"

Lydia nodded. "Peter is Y/n's father." Lydia kept looking between the picture of Peter and the picture she had of Y/n. The witch didn't really look anything like the werewolf, or the werecoyote for that matter, but if she looked long and hard enough there was something about the eyes that were similar. Something similar enough that you could vaguely tell that Peter was Y/n and Malia's father, and that Y/n and Malia are sisters.

...

Stiles squeals to a stop near the back door of the clinic, the four jumping out into the deluge and being soaked in seconds in their dash to the door. Y/n could sense them as soon as they reached the metal, looking at Scott before turning. "They're here." Not even a moment later the oni formed in the darkness.

Scott stepped forward. "Y/n, get him inside." He ordered. She gripped her keys and did what her Alpha asked as he shifted, growled at the spirits and attacked them.

She got the door open and Stiles looked back. "Hey, Kira, get inside! Kira!" He called, but she didn't listen and instead started to throw animal crates at the oni to keep them back. She suddenly blocked a swipe from an oni and flipped it onto it's back, disarming it. She took up a pipe and started using it like a makeshift sword.

"She's got this. Go." Y/n urged Stiles in. As soon as she closed the door she made sure everything was shut and secured to make the barrier. Her breathing was heavy from the rushing, but when she took a step back, bumping into a body that suddenly held her with his arms across her chest, it faltered. This is the first time he's touched her since he showed up, and she realized why he had avoided her all day. "You're not him." She breathed. "You haven't been this whole time." It made sense. She would have seen it in his eyes if he had met her gaze, would have felt the lack of his presence if he touched her like he was now. She could feel Stiles' body, but he wasn't the one in control.

"Are you scared?" He whispered in her ear, his lips ghosting over the skin, and she forced down a shiver.

"I'm not scared of you."

"No, you're not. But you are afraid of something, aren't you? Afraid of what's gonna happen to him. What the oni will do if they catch us." She tried to swallow the sudden lump in her throat. He turned her around, pushing her into a wall by her shoulders, and ducked his head to catch her gaze. She could fully see it now. The shadows in his eyes have taken over, leaving no light in them. Just darkness. Void. "Don't worry, my majo. They won't get us so easily." (Witch)

"I won't let them get Stiles, but I'll make sure they get you."

He gave her an almost fond smile, brushing a piece of wet hair from her cheek. "One day I'll come for you, and you will follow. But for now, you need to sleep." Quicker than she can process he grips her head and slams it into the wall. She falls unconscious and he catches her before she can hit the ground, slowly lowering her down himself. She's not easily seen and it's easy for him to put on his act again, going outside as Scott is stabbed by an oni and Kira kicks it away. "All right, come on. Get him inside! Get him inside!" He instructs as he helps Kira lead Scott inside the safety of the clinic.

Scott grunts as he leans against the metal table, the sword still in his abdomen. Kira grabs the hilt and braces to pull it out when a hand latches onto her wrist painfully tight. Void then slams her head into the table and lets her crumple to the floor knocked out. Scott looks at him bewildered as he moves to stand in front of the wolf. He taps his fingers on the hilt teasingly. "You okay?" Scott can tell now that this isn't his friend.

"Please don't. Stop."

"It's okay." He grabs the hilt of the sword and claps a hand on Scott's shoulder. He twists the weapon making Scott yell out from the pain. "Does it hurt? Hey, look at me. You should have done your reading, Scott. See, a nogitsune feeds off chaos, strife, and pain. This morning, you took it from Isaac, then you took it from Coach. And then from a dying deputy. All that pain. You took it all." He moves his hand to the side of Scott's head. "Now, give it to me." The veins in Scott's face and Void's hand turn black as the nogitsune feeds on the pain Scott took. "You really have to learn, Scott." He smiles. "You really have to learn not to trust a fox." He almost grins as he shakes a finger and then grips Scott's shoulder again. "Mm-mm. Know why? 'Cause they're tricksters. They'll fool you. They'll fool everyone."

"Not everyone." Alan appeared by their side. When Void looked at him Alan stuck a needle in his neck, the syringe filled with wolf lichen, and pressed on the plunger. He grunts and gasps before he falls to the ground, powerless. Alan stands in front of Scott and quickly takes the sword out of the teen.

"What was that?" He asked as soon as he took a few breaths. "Was that a cure? Is he okay?"

"The fox is poisoned. But it's not dead." He looked down at the teen on the floor. "Not yet."

Are you happy to see me, or are you happy to see me 😎 I'm happy to be back after so long! I was longer than I thought I'd be, but that's just how it goes sometimes.
Got some exciting new information from our favorite banshee tho 👀 a lot of you surprisingly guessed it already. It's surprising only because some of it was very early on and kinda out of the blue, but I still love you, don't worry. I actually have some memes about this that I'm happy I'm able to share now 😂
