Emma's POV

It's been a couple of days since the Destiny's wedding festivities and coming out of the amnesia. I decided for some time to myself at the mall.

I walk in. It's the summer so it's pretty crowded, no surprise about that though. I walk into Claire's to get something for Ava and Melanie. They both get a pair of earrings. Ava got a headband and Melanie got a necklace.

Then, I walk out of Claire's and decide to grab some food since it was about lunch time. I sit down with my Canes and start to eat it.

A few minutes later I see a familiar face. I look again to make sure that is her. Yep. It is. I walk over to her and tap her shoulder. She turns around. "Hey Emma! How are you doing! I haven't seen you since Pax Prime!" she says in her amazing New Zealand accent.

The one and only MaddiieManeater. One of the sweetest people you will ever meet.

"It's good to see you too Maddiie! I can't believe it's been that long since I've actually seen you in person. Want to come sit?" "Yeah sure!"

So here is the backstory of how do I know Maddiie: One day I was watching MKtheworst, another streamer that we both are friends with, was playing with her. So, I started watching her and came to her streams more often. Then I found out she lives in my hometown. After a while we became friends and started to stream together.

(And there is random fireworks at midnight. WTF. I present to you: what is common in my neighborhood. Fireworks and Loud, Annoying, Cussing even if a 3&4 year old are around, Teenagers. Except I go to a private religious school and they go to public. And I'm in middle school so... )

Then I finally got to meet her at PAX South, along with Mk and a couple of other YouTubers/Streamers I know. So you can bet how excited I was. It's a rare occasion to actually meet her randomly in public though. So this was a treat.

"What are you doing here?" I ask Maddiie. "Looking around at stuff for the wedding or for my bridal shower list. You?" "Having a day to myself because I've been around my family and Jordan all week."

"Jordan... Maron? Oh yeah! You are dating him. A good match in my opinion. We sometimes need to get away from our boyfriends." "Thanks! Same for you and Lance! Yeah we do!" "So maybe you want to help me and we can talk more?" "Sure!"

I throw away my trash and we head off. I know the mall layout well so we get from place to place quickly. She tells me the shop and I help guide her through the crowd to get to it. After our last stop we decide to get our nails done.

"I'll pay for it. My treat" We decide what we want and sit down. I'm getting my nails done while she get her toes done. "So that was a lot of work done," I say. "Yep. Thanks Emma. That was so easier with you around." "No problem! We really need to stream together soon though." "Yeah we do."

We continue talking. It's a small world seeing her here too. I just got lucky.
