Well man am I exhausted. I flopped down to my bed and hugged it like some sort of body pil- I mean stuff toy. I just can't believe I almost died today, thrice to be exact.

The following rides were kind of friendly- like carousels, throw balls to get prizes and etcetera but looks like Rin got bored and decided to go to the Ferris Wheel- is Rin sadistic or what? As expected, wimpy me started screaming when we were at the top, swinging side by side. I couldn't even manage to open my eyes at that time but.

Those soft and warm hands. That kind of feeling when all your fears died because of that knight in shining armour (no I'm not gay so stfu and just listen), except it was a girl. The moment she wrapped her arms around me tenderly, I just knew it.

I like her.

Love is such a strong word for me so let's just say I like her.

I remembered how she said those words full of love and happiness

"My servant shall not be afraid for I, her queen in shining armour will protect him." After that, she smiled. It made my heart beat go mad fast

And

I was finally going to smile

For once in my life

An actual smile

But no- the stupid ride had to roughly swing us around back to the ground.

I was supposed to kill the controller of the ride but she pulled me to a cotton candy stand. The bright lights shone everywhere, green, yellow, blue, and more light colors were blinking. Remembering the memory made me chuckle.

She quickly rushed to the vendor and demanded to give her the sweet delicacy or she would cease him, I gave the vendor a look that says "Go with the flow" which he completely understood and begged for mercy whilst twisting the candy from the machine. In the end, Rin said thanks and gave him the money.

We were supposed to watch the fireworks display but it was still 7 in the evening and it will start at 10. So we decided to rest for a while and took a stroll to see the rest of the carnival.

Seeing the children's chided along with their parents, hands intertwined with the big Teddy bears they've won. As a gentleman *coughs* *coughs* I decided to give it a shot again.

And I've won, with Rin cheering by my side. And as expected, she chose the orange bear.

It was so refreshing yet so unbelievable how time flies so fast when I'm with her. Does this prove something or am I just being delusional?

Nonetheless, the fireworks event came. As cliché as it sounds, it was wonderful. Rin's twinkling eyes made it more beautiful.

I had no idea why I suddenly lost my mind and stared at her. Her doll-like face, gleaming through the dark, that lovely smile of hers, her dark long eye lashes, that charming hue of sapphire blue. Everything about her, I like every part of it, she wasn't perfect but every flaws she have, every imperfection, I love it.

The fireworks were nice, but Rin's reaction was furthermore the best. It's like all the fireworks, the stars, the sky are all in her eyes.

I can see it, every single part.

Visible through my sight.

"LEN, TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED EARLIER!" Lenka shouted outside while continuously banging my door

"Too tired." I replied lazily and buried myself on to the pillow.

Gaaaah.

"LEEEN!"

"LET ME SLEEP, IT'S 11 PM."

"UGH FINE, JUST TELL ME EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED TOMORROW." She whined and heard footsteps slowly disappearing

Well, it is time to sleep.

This day is literally one of the best.

"Y-Yeah." I sheepishly replied and lowered my head.

"Oh my banana. You chose the right girl my smart brother. I'm soooo excited for the wedding!" She exclaimed and flipped the pancake.

"Uhuh." I replied back to my boring self and gave her the plate

"You need to work out Len." Lenka said out of nowhere and poured the maple syrup and butter on my pancake

"Ha?" Do I even need to go to the gym?

"You look weeeaak! Wouldn't it be more romantic if she suddenly collapsed and you carried her, with some muscles exposed and suddenly she woke up, feeling dizzy and said the words "I love you Len" and then boom a kiss? KYAAA! JUST BY THINKING ABOUT IT MAKES ME WANT TO LEND YOU BARBELS." A fangirl.

Landing the plate in front of me, a well presented pancake like in those commercials.

"Bon appetite!*" She said and sat to her chair.

"Yeah yeah."

"Itadakimasu!*" Saying out loudly, she began eating it

"Also, how's Japan?" I asked opening a topic.

"Noice." She said while gobbling her food.

"Everyone pretty much liked me! They said my voice was cute and unique though, I kind of have a rival but we're friends!"

"Rival?" I asked out of curiosity

"Yeah! Her name's Lily." Lily? Haven't I heard that somewhere?

"Lily?!" I stood up roughly almost making the plate fall

"Yeah, jeez be careful."

"She's Rin's sister." I whispered those words and looked at her shocked face

"What?!"

"Dingdong!" I heard Rin outside, pressing the doorbell and at the same time saying ding dong. I went to the door and opened it.

"Heey! You guys don't really lock your gates do you?" She smiled

"RIIIIINN." Does anybody thinks that my sister's actually crazy? I mean don't they realize it?

"HAAAAII*?" Rin gasped and went inside totally ignoring me and followed where the voice came from.

I chuckled and closed the door, going back to the dining room.

"Oh! So you're Lily's sister! In Japan, we don't mostly reveal our last names since it's kind of our style as pop stars but some would eventually post it on Wikipedia."

"How's life there Lenka-nee?" She asked immediately and didn't realized that she changed the topic

"Oh! It's pretty hard but seeing the four seasons were lovely! The language was a little hard to study but I eventually got a hang of it." They started chatting whilst I eat peacefully.

After eating, I place the dish on the counter and left them.

Putting on my yellow headphones, I pressed the shuffle button on my phone.

Nope, not this song. I wonder how that even got into my playlist. It was unbelievable how Miku even got a song that had over 12 Million views.

I now regretted downloading Nicofy.

Holding my phone, I swipped through the songs to pick. I have my own songs here too so why not? Opening a playlist I scanned through the songs piled up as my eyes widen.

"What the fuck?" The vulgar words came out of my mouth as soon as I see all of my perverted songs lined up. Like Gigantic OTN, Spice, plus Boy and etcetera.

I had no idea why anyone would even like that. Plus the fact that I didn't even wrote that, just forced to sing and do the... Pv. I felt a shiver in my spine remembering the censored memories. Take note: never accept songs from perverted producers.

I shrugged and pressed shuffle.

Taking off my headphones, I threw it in my bed. I had no idea why I even wrote that song.

Starting the vacuum, I cleaned the floor along with the carpet.

Done with cleaning, I let myself fall on the soft bed as it was followed with a sigh

"Why am I so lazy?"

Someone started knocking on the door. What is it now Lenka?!

"Come in." I said and closed my eyes shut

I heard the door creaked open but didn't heard any sound. Opening my left eyes, I blinked and sat down.

"What is it- Rin?" The blonde I saw was examining the room, looking at my desk, the floor, underneath my bed and every part.

"Hmm? Oh hey! I thought you were asleep so I've decided to take a stroll around your house and asked Lenka-nee if I can enter your room and here I am!" She explained and grinned

"Ah, I see." I went back to my original position and closed my eyes.

"Oh! That reminds me! Let's go to my house!" She exclaimed and I felt her hold the end of my sleeve

"Why?"

"You remember the paint right?" She said in a playful tone as I stood up quickly, on the verge of falling she supported my back by putting her hands there to keep me from falling. Regaining back my balance, I steadily stood up with my back straight.

"Thanks. And yeah sure, I'll go just let me get dressed." I replied and she quickly went out of my room.

Grabbing a pair of some decent clothes, I've put it on and grabbed nothing but my phone and wallet. Sliding it down my pockets I swiftly opened the door and made it out of the room.

"Come on come on! Let's go!! I've already told Lenka-nee so bamonos*!!" Welcomed by Rin's shouting, I chuckled and headed outside

"Hmmm, wouldn't it be nice if we met our destined person?" Rin carelessly said as I looked at her, confused.

"I mean, I already met mine." She gave me a wink as I felt blood rising my face

I didn't knew she could flirt, and yet why the heck am I blushing about it.

Staying silent for a few moment, Rin kept humming some tune when we finally reached her home.

"Welp, I'll just go get the paint." She puffed and went inside

"W-Wait." I stuttered and hurried inside her humble house

When I got there, she smiled apologetically and pointed the paint.

"I guess I'm not strong enough to lift both of them." Rin nervously laughed

Automatically lifting the paints, Rin followed me outside as she pushed the ladder with her hands and wiped her sweat.

"Let's begin. How about painting the second floor first? So it would be dry in a jiffy." Giving me one of the brushes, I swallowed my saliva and looked at the top.

"O-Okay then.."

God, please help me. I'll be 10 foot off the ground. gosh nooo.

"W-Welp, I can paint at the bottom and you'll be the one painting up there so we're twice fastert, are we clear?" I awkwardly chuckled, Rin knew something was wrong, just hope she wouldn't ask me-

"Something wrong Len?" She asked eyeing me.

"N-None! I'm fi-fine!" 

"You're afraid of heights aren't you." 

Cat got my tongue. Well damn she noticed. The rustling of trees and the wind can only be heard from afar. Then Rin suddenly smiled and touched my nose.

"Wiiiimp!" She laughed and surprisingly hugged me. 

"But... Even though you're a wimp.. I still-love-you." Giggling at the end, I now feel like a tomato with steam coming out.

Love? Love as friends right? She loves me as her friend right? Yeah. I am her friend after all. A-And if it wasn't as friends... Why would she even love me kind of romantically? I'm a jerk, I'm cold, I'm hated yet adored by everyone, unlike her. She was the complete opposite of me. So why would she even like me in the first place? Looks? No. She isn't that kind of person. Popularity? God I think Rin haven't even heard of me in the first place, So what is it?! 

"Earth to Len, Earth to Len. Do you copy?" She said now suddenly in front of me as she was waving her hands up and down.

"Yes.. Over." I replied and flipped the lid of the can with the screwdriver nearby.

Rin prepared the ladder and climbed up with her brush and started painting the top orange whilst I painted the bottom yellow.

"Phew, that took longer than I expect." Rin sighed and sat on the grass. staring at the sunset.

"Well, you spilled the paint so we'll eventually finish the house at the evening so to make it short, we're still early." I said and wiped the sweat forming on my forehead. 

"But still!" She whined and popped out the bottle cap and drank her orange soda.

Chuckling, I continued drinking my lemon soda, it was a nice view. Purple skies mixing with the warm shade of orange like some majestic set has come. Well, should I go home now? I mean it is getting pretty late but...  I don't really wanna go. I don't know why but I want to spend more time with Rin...

Ugh. What is this uncontrollable feeling?

"Let's go inside. I'll cook dinner for us!" She said with a smile

I nodded and my legs automatically walked to her house and sat at the couch.

Rin went straight to the kitchen and minded her own business.

Now

What do I do? I guess I should perhaps help her-

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Hearing Rin's screams I stumbled and went as fast as I can to the kitchen

"What happened-...." I stayed silent and mentally face palmed

"Uuu, Kira, get down!" Rin said with a sad voice.

"Meoow."

"Eh! I want to cook! How can I cook with you up on my head?" Rin said with a frown plastered on her face

"Hey! Len! Get Kira off my head!" She demanded softly.

I sighed and got the critter away from Rin's top. 

"Thanks!" She said full of joy and started grabbing the pots.

"Since you're already here, could you cut the carrots for me?" 

"Yeah, sure." I replied and did what she requested, then she poured all the 

"This reminds me of Gumi! She loves carrots. I just wish she was here. She moved to Japan too to continue her music business." Rin mumbled as she stirred the curry in the pot, checking the rice, she unplugged the rice cooker and 've put on her mitten. Placing the rice on plates.

Glancing at the curry, I've turn off the stove and grasped the ladle, pouring the dish into the plate.

"Let's eat!" Landing the plates along with the utensils, I pulled out the chair and took a sit. 

I ate the dish we, Rin and I made. Well... I only helped with the slicing and she did everything else.

"How is it?" She asked with her eyes glistening 

"Mhm, good." I lied, it was probably the best one I've tasted (don't tell Lenka though).

What date is it today? December 24.. It's almost Christmas and I guess Lenka already changed the house into a Winter Wonderland by now. 

But if that means that Christmas was now near.. So is our birthdays.

1st, WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG TO UPDATE?! I'm very sorry! It was very hard writing this chapter knowing that I did it day by day. I had no inspiration as of now and I'm trying my very best to finally finish this book! 3 more chapters left :3 and boom we're done! Of course I still have a surprise in the end *creepily giggles*.
