IM STILL ALIVE!!!.... Dont mine me I'm weird. Anyways hello to you all. I know I know it's been like what...3...or more months? Idk e-ne-ways, I'm srry for a such late...very very late update. Alot of personal stuff to deal with n on top of that, my motivation for writing is...bleeeehhh but that motivation is coming back slowly. So since its coming back, I decided to update this book n try to get it done. I can tell this is some of you readers:

XDDD and I dont blame you now enough of my talkative ass.

  I present....THE UPDATE!!!

I saw demons pass me as some were burned with hellfire. I saw my grandmother heading for Riki, who looked at her and teleported to my side.

"...."

I looked at her neck and saw the necklace. 

"where did you get that?"

"Hm?"

"the necklace..."

"ill tell you later, ok?"

All i did was nod as I saw my grandmother coming at me. I took Riki and flew up before she could touch me. 

"Why are you getting in my way?!" - My grandmother yelled as she flew after me.
 
I didnt know how to respond to her as I was still trying to process what my family has done. All this hatred...what's the point of still wanting vengeance? They even had a kid yet still... I groaned in frustration as I dodged my grandmother's attacks

"Suki..?"

"Hm?"

"We need a place to hide"

"I know that's what I'm looking for."

"How about we hide in Maple..!"

I narrowed my eyes and looked at her as she tried not to chuckle.

"The last time I was in her truck,I came out covered in maple syrup. That stuff is hard to get out and sticky. I dont plan on getting syrup dumped on me again." - She burst out laughing as I groaned at the thought

"I know that but that's put best option right now."

I let it an annoyed sigh in response and flew to where maple was n fast so that it was hard for my grandmother to keep up. I landed in front of maple who wasntso happy to see me as I wasnt happy to see her either.

"Ah! Risuki what brings you here" - Maple said. She didn't even bother to greet me.

"Hey Maple is it ok if we hide in your trunk??"

Maple looked at me then at Riki.

"Why..? I mean I'll hide you but not him"

I sucked my teeth in response. Tch of course she wouldn't.

"Maple pllleeasseee?"

"Hhhh fine get in"

We walked through her, and all I saw was darkness at first but then some light was shown at the ceiling like stars lighting up a night sky. Riki was next to me who was also blown away.

"Its so pretty.."

"Mhm"

I was about to say something else when I felt something drip on my shoulder from the ceiling. I looked up n saw it fall.

"Shit..."

Before I even took a step, Maple poured syrup on me. I groaned in annoyance as Riki covered her mouth.

"Dont.You.Dare.Laugh..."

"I...I wa-wasnt going to.." - She shuddered as she tried not to burst out a laugh.

I wiped the syrup from my eyes as I groaned once more in annoyance.

"Hey look on the bright side. At least you know how pancakes n waffles feel like when syrup is poured on them."

I slowly turned my head glaring at her and that's when she burst out laughing.

"Yeah..i guess your right but...I dont think it's just me who needs to understand it..."

She looked at me confused. "What do you mean?"

Before she could do anything I hugged her tightly smearing my face on her neck as she giggled a little squeal.

"ACK! Isukiii stoop!" - She said as she tried to pull away.

"There now we can both suffer" - I said as I let her go with a smile on my face.

"Ha..yes now we both can.." - She in an unamused voice as she narrowed her eyes

Now I was the one who chuckled as she narrowed her eyes even more.

"Its not funny..I didnt ask for a sticky hug."

"Ha! And I~ didn't ask for a sticky shower."

She could say anything back in return and huffed in defeat as I snickered a bit. She playfully started hitting my arm.

"But stiiillllll"

I chuckled  a bit n hugged her again and she stopped to hug me back. I was about to say something when I heard my grandmother's voice from outside.

"Maple...whatever you do..do not tell that woman where are...she trying to take Riki."- I whispered.

Maple let a drop of maple fall on the ground and it had the word "ok" in he center. Riki and I sat on the ground and stayed quiet, afraid we'd give our hiding spot away. Riki hugged me tightly as I was curious as to why shes has that necklace on her.

"Riki?"

"Hm?"

"Where did you get the necklace from?"

"Ehmm.."

She looked away as I looked at her waiting for her response.

"Well..I found it on the ground and I dont know...I just feel connected to it for some reason...like as if I was suppost to have it. Like..I'm the rightful owner of it."

I just nodded in response as another drop of maple feel on the floor. We both went to see what it said and what we saw made us panic n start heading to the door on the other side which took use to the forest where we were earlier.

"She's coming! Get out while you still can and hurry!"

Risuki's pov:

I ran out of the trunk with Isuki following behind me. I turned around to make sure he was there, which he was and saw the the maple syrup was gone.

"I see she was nice enough to clean you."

"As she should! It's her syrup she dumped on me." - He said which made me snicker and grabbed his hand.

" Let's find a place to hide and quickly."

"Riki..I have to go back for Karuma.."

I looked at him realizing Karuma was there. I nodded at him.

"I go with-"

"No you stay here. My grandmother is after you. I need to get Karuma before she goes after him as well...knowing her, she'd might and start telling him lies... "

"But-"

"You go find us a place hide while I go get him and meet me here in 30 mins. If I'm not back by then or at least ten mins after, then you can come after me ok?"

I just nodded still worried about his safety.

"Please be careful..."

"I will."

With that he pulled me into him and kissed me slowly as i kissed him back before going  back into maple. Once he went in, I quickly started to look for a place to hide, of course making sure i was careful to not get caught by the zombies n stuff from earlier.

Back to Isuki pov:

I walked back through Maple and flew to Lydia's house but carefully to not be seen as I looked for Karuma. Once I reached the house, I quickly went into the house and up the stairs to the room he was in to find it locked which worried me.

"Karuma..?"

No response

"Karuma it's me Isuki"

I heard a shuffle in the room and the door unlocking. Karuma opened the door with red puffy eyes n sniffling.

"Hey bud, you ok?"

He shook his head n broke down as he held me tightly. I hugged him back n rubbed his back.

"Hey hey it's ok. I'm here"

"Grandmother is way more meaner to me than the last time I saw her..."

"Yeah...I know..."

I picked him up and walked downstairs.

"Cmon..Risuki is waiting for us in the forest we were just were to hide."

"What about Lydia, her father and Lord Nagisa..?"- He said with a sniffle

"My father and Nagisa is already safe I suggest we go meet Risuki"

Karuma and I both jumped as Lydia appeared behind us out of nowhere.

"Jeez Lydia dont do that! And ok then let's go"

She chuckles as we all quickly made out way to Maple without getting seen. We were almost there when I felt a sharp pain only arm. I turned around and saw a black feather in my arm. I looked up to see my grandmother on our trail. Shit... I gave Karuma, who was now asleep from the crying, to Lydia.

"Go to Maple and meet up Risuki, I distract her to by you some time"

Before she said anything, I flew up taking the feather out of my arm and flew away from where Lydia was heading.

Risuki's POV

After finding a place for us to stay, I headed back to Maple n saw Karuma and Lydia. They saw me and Karuma run up to me and hugged me tightly.

"Wheres Isuki..?"

Lydia looked away for a sec. " His grandmother was on our trail so he used himself as a distraction...he said to wait for him  with you"

I wised my eyes in worry, hoping that he wont get hurt as Karuma looked up at me.

"He will be ok right..?"

"He will dont worry ok?"- I patted his head lightly holding him close.

We sat down by the tree and waited for Isuki as we comforted Karuma and assured him that Isuki will be ok.

                              3 hours later

Now I was panicking as well as Karuma. It's been 3 hours and he still wasnt here yet.

"I'm gonna go find him."

I stood up as Lydia grabbed my arm, making me stop in my tracks and  look at her.

"Risuki...I know your worried. I am too and so is Karuma but remember his grandmother is after you. What if you go in there and get taken by her and Isuki comes back to you not here? If he said he's coming back, he's coming back. He's probably battling her as we speak while trying to get here as fast as he can. It's best if we all wait for him here. Tho its taking forever, still."

I let out a sigh and sat back down. She was right. What if that was the case and I turned up out of the blue making it hard for him to protect me. I told myself that there was nothing to worry about until I saw smt that made my heart sank immediately. Isuki finally showed up but was covered n cuts n bruises and was holding his side with a bloody hand due to the cut still bleeding.

What the hell happened..?!
