Life so Far
Third Person POV
Everyone was worried of Percy, but not as much as Mackenzie. As soon as her foot touched Britain, she was arrested by some people from the Ministry of Magic. Then she was brought to the court and was immediately sentenced to 'under supervision' in Hogwarts.
---------
Hermione and her friends couldn't help but pity the granddaughter of their enemy. They'd see her walking down the halls all so silent. Everyone barely knew she existed except the Golden Trio, Ginny, Luna, and Draco. The group of friends, yes, including Draco, knew there was something more than being 'under the eyes' of the ministry. Something else that they were eager to find out.
Maybe if we found the cousin, Hermione thought.
---------
Mackenzie kept away from everyone as much as possible. Her 'under supervision' situation has forced her to immediately deviate from having any contact with anyone. Her actions were carefully thought out. She didn't want anyone to get hurt. No one knew how every minute of her life without knowing how Percy's doing drives her crazy. Her being under strict rules made her unreachable. More or less, she forced herself not to be allowed to contact Percy because of her situation. Due to this, she has developed a series of disorders or simply disorders that are worsening such as anorexia, insomnia, depression, psychosis, and many more. She never ate. She never slept. She never talked. Her grades in Hogwarts were dropping unknowingly why.
Everyone thought she didn't exist. Everyone but the group of friends.
Though the only way to die is to kill herself since she is immortal. She's keeping up with the Ministry even if she could have escaped on her own accord, she stayed and followed everything. All because it wouldn't be safe for him. All because he will be disappointed. All because of Percy.
But one thought always loomed in her mind.
What if he'd done it first?
---------
Percy on the other hand was doing way worse. He and Mackenzie hasn't talked in weeks.
He has been bed-ridden in his mother's cozy and lonely home. He refused to move ever since Mackenzie left. His voice had stopped working. Every nightmare daydream felt real to him but he never showed it. His eyes just glued to the ceiling of his 'supposed' room, no sleep inquired at all.
Everyday Will Solace would come to him until he gave up. His friends visited him when they can and tried to help him but nothing worked. His own father has decided to stay and watch over his son, hoping he'd be there when he comes back to his senses.
They tried to bring him to camp but it his hand would grip the bed posts tightly it would bleed. No one ever knew why but it was a promise to himself that he would stay in his mother's house to prevent the younger half-bloods from seeing their leader ever so broken.
He needed to go somewhere unfamiliar to the demigod world. Only, he couldn't on his own. He wanted his life to end so badly but he was still alive because of her. All because of Mackenzie.
Though his mind only filled him in with a single sentence.
What if she'd done it first?

Sally was crying herself to sleep every night with Paul comforting her. She just couldn't believe that her little boy was broken beyond her repair.
She was guilty for not being there when her son needed her the most. She dreads the times she would receive a phone call in the middle of her work from Camp Half-Blood saying her son tried to take his own life. She was all the way in Hollywood being awarded for having a billion earning book in just three months of release they decided to make a movie that would be in production right away.
During a camera recorded private interview, her cellphone rang to a tune of 'Under the Sea'. She smiled knowing this was her son calling her.
"This is my son calling me," she smiled proudly at the camera, answered the phone, and put it on speaker mode.
The reporter smiled and whispered to the microphone. "Sally Jackson-Blofis is answering her son, Perseus Jackson the young Olympic medalist. Let's listen in."
As soon as Sally answered the phone and had said 'hello' a voice of none other than Leo Valdez.
"Hey Sally," Leo said with an obvious nervous tone on the phone.
Sally was confused. "Leo Valdez? Why are you using Percy's phone?"
The reporter nearly squealed. "Sally Jackson has been called by Leo Valdez. The sixteen year old mechanical prodigy who built a life like humanoid and gave all his gift money to charity."
Leo laughed nervously. "Um, actually I'm watching you live on T.V. Though are you sure you want to quit speaker mode on the next things I'll be saying.?"
Sally knew everything was fine after the war so it couldn't be bad. "It's okay Leo."
There was a notable pause as he spoke again. "Well, you see, with a lot of things happening. P-percy tried to take his own life." There was a sob from the phone. Then a soft whisper. "I'm sorry. He hasn't been really okay but kids here are looking up at him when he has his own problems. He just wants to be there for all of us. I guess it's pressured him. I know your in Hollywood Percy said not to bother you in your important day but us friends know better-" Sally dropped her phone on the floor with a hurt look.
"Hello?" Leo's voice echoed on the floor.
Sally raised her hands to her head and stood up. Tears streamed down her face as she picked up her phone. "U-um, Leo, is he conscious or unconscious? Is Crystal alright? How is he holding up?"
"Unconscious, though he's stable. Crystal's fine. She's with her father beside Percy." Then his voice was followed by teenagers shouting orders.
"THEY'RE FLATLINING!" A very famous voice shouted.
The reporter was shocked. "That voice is none other than the famous Will Solace. The teenage doctor who saved a life of a woman with an extent use of knowledge."
"I have to go," Leo said obviously on the verge of crying. "Um, we'll update you. Bye, Mrs. Jackson. I hope to see you soon...hey Neeks-" then the phone call ended.
Sally's face dropped. She knew what it meant if Nico was involved. "I have to go."
The reporter was furious. "But you have an interview to finish!"
Sally snapped for the first time in history. "I lost my son for a year once. I'm not losing him again." She turned to her assistant. "Cara, ask Captain Dolores to arrange a quick flight back. My son needs me. He hasn't since he was twelve." And she was gone. Later that night, the news was all about her depressed son.
Now, he isn't talking, moving or doing anything at all except breath. She knew how important Mackenzie was...is to him. They knew something all of us don't and all Sally wants to do is to help them. But now is not the time for her son is lying in a bed like a lifeless doll waiting to be toyed with. That's who Percy is to the gods. And she is every bit upset in all of them but mostly herself. Though all she can do now is be there for him.

Minerva McGonagall was worried for Mackenzie. The ministry never disclosed any information on Mackenzie. She was worried they were scaring the poor little girl out of her wits. She's noticed the change in behavior of Mackenzie. Mackenzie had stopped talking to anyone at all.
All McGonagall can do is search for her cousin until she read an old muggle newspaper containing an article of a suicidal son of one named Sally Jackson. The son was none other than the very famous Olympic swimmer Perseus Jackson. She deepened her research and was surprised by what she found.
---------
Later that year, during the September break, no one knew where Mackenzie went. Little did they know, she was sent to Azkaban to have information about the Dark Lord tortured out of her. Unable to fulfill a promise to come back on the break. Though, Perseus Jackson kept his side of the promise. He never suggested a search because she didn't call...for the past three months.
