2 years passed in the blink of a second. After deciding to live together like a married couple, Shehnaaz shifted to his house happily. Initially, she felt little difficulty in adjusting to a new world but soon she did because of Sidharth. Sidharth became her support system and he was there whenever she needed him. Shehnaaz became the girl he love the most, just like his mother and he gave respect to her work also.

Even though he used to feel a pang in his heart initially seeing Shehnaaz in someone's arms he never stopped her from working because she deserves independence. He believes that every girl deserves to do what her heart wants. He gave her the freedom to go anywhere without taking permission because he want to keep her independent. Shehnaaz used to message him if she had plans to trip with her friends or coffee with other boys.

Sidharth stopped minding these little things as stopping her looked toxic to him. He knows the difference between friends and husband so he doesn't have any fear inside his heart. Still, he feels jealous when someone tries showing that he knows Shehnaaz more and he sees fake articles about Shehnaaz coming into a relationship with someone else.

His mind hates those particular men and articles because people tie that man with Shehnaaz rather than him. They accepted each other wholeheartedly and accepted their marriage. They decided not to have a baby anytime soon as they want to enjoy their moments for now.

Today is their 2nd anniversary, at night they wished each other and cut cake also. Only thier close family members know that they are married. They maintained privacy and always refused to admit that they are in love with each other in public. They celebrate their anniversary with Rita and Shehnaaz's family that's it. No one is invited and no one knows the date when they got married. Right now Shehnaaz is sleeping with her leg on his legs and her head on his shoulder. They slept a few hours ago and now again woke up hearing an alarm sound.

Sidharth opened his eyes first and noticed his wife over him. They are covered with a blanket but he can feel her leg over him. He kissed her forehead and recalled thier wedding, the most special day to him which came as a blessing.

"Happy anniversary meri jaan. You are the most special woman to me", Sidharth whispered and kissed her forehead with love and then he held her hand in his. When he pulled her hand, the blanket moved down which made Shehnaaz's body visible to him. Shehnaaz opened her eyes and noticed him staring at her, she blushed thinking about night and moved a little and hugged him

"Happy anniversary Sidharth. This bond and our relationship are very dear to me", Shehnaaz told and placed her head on his chest. Sidharth closed his eyes tightly when her cheeks and hair touched his chest. His desires woke up again, he kissed her shoulder and then her cheeks.

"For me too", he replied to her and joined thier forehead together. He kissed her and they got lost in her love again.  After an hour Shehnaaz left him to get ready to go to the temple first and then she will get ready for the award function. Her name is selected as a nominee for ITA ( Indian television awards) which mean a lot to her because this was her dream to stand on stage and win an ITA trophy.

She got ready in a Patiala pink and orange suit that had intricate gotta work on the short shirt and orange dupatta. She came to the dressing table and wore pink and golden bangles matching her dress. The pink suit looked lavish and it shined when the light hit the stones of her suit. Sidharth came out of the bathroom after freshening out and his eyes got stuck on his beautiful wife. He went towards her and hugged her tightly behind her back.

"Wear your clothes, Sidharth. I have to change again for awards", Shehnaaz ordered and leaned on his shoulder resting herself. She is already tired and she can't take a rest today as this day is very big for her, first because it's their anniversary and 2nd she has to attend the award show. Sidharth chuckled hearing her words because he knows she also doesn't want him to leave her. He held her hands and placed them on her abdomen. He placed his chin on her shoulder and kissed her neck and cheek softly.

"You can go there wearing this also", Sidharth said to which she shooked her head.

"I want to wear a Western dress, Sid. I know you love me in Indian wear but for once can I?", Shehnaaz asked looking down with a pout. Sidharth noticed her innocent face through the mirror and smiled. How can he stop her? She is his love and her wish is his command. Shehnaaz understood it was a yes with his smile and kissed his cheek. Sidharth reciprocated by kissing her cheek.

Actions speak louder than words. Many times Sidharth doesn't talk but his smile and blush give her hints regarding his choices and agreement. Sidharth's eyes suddenly went on vermillion and he stared at that small box thinking if he should ask Shehnaaz to fill her hairline today or not. Just for him then she can hide it. Shehnaaz followed his gaze and understood what he want and picked up the box slowly thinking about the purity of their bond and their love.

"Fill my hairline and this is my nuptial chain. Make me wear this", Shehnaaz demanded taking out the nuptial chain from the drawer. Her bangles jingled making a sweet sound which looked soothing to Sidharth because he knows she wore them for him. Sidharth knows how much Shehnaaz loves him so he doesn't mind when Shehnaaz doesn't wear these symbols of thier wedding. Sidharth smiled and kissed her hair softly before taking the nuptial chain and vermillion from her hands.

He took the nuptial chain in his hand and pushed her hair towards her front. He tied a nuptial chain around her neck and placed a kiss there. He turned Shehnaaz to face him and picked up the box in his hand. He took a pinch of vermillion in his fingers and filled her hairline reminiscing about thier wedding. He held her waist and kissed her forehead closing his eyes tightly because he is getting emotional now.

These days relationships are just a show-off to media to show couple goals. It is hard to find true love. Many stories are left incomplete because of circumstances and many stories break due to misunderstanding. But Sidharth and Shehnaaz maintained thier love and trust for each other. They didn't accept thier relationship in front of the media but they know how much they love each other.

"I want to keep my forehead filled with your name like this Sidharth. I feel bad and I feel like I'm disrespecting you", Shehnaaz said feeling guilty as she filled her hairline after months and that too for just a few hours. She feels she is disrespecting Sidharth when she doesn't wear the symbol of their marriage.

"No baby. I know you and I respect your career priority. Stay like an ideal wife and that's enough ", Sidharth said and caressed her cheek softly. He knows these small gestures calm her and give her strength. That's why he always showers his love with these gestures rather than getting intimate with her.

"Ideal and me? Do you think the ideal wife will wear shorts", Shehnaaz laughed as she felt like asking this question when she wore shorts and he was clicking her pictures. Is she an ideal wife?

"For me, an ideal wife means a girl who respects her husband and his family and cares for all of them. If you respect our relationship and stay loyal to me then you are an ideal wife. I don't know how people define an ideal wife but for me you are. My sweet innocent wife *, Sidharth said which made Shehnaaz smile like an idiot. She felt so happy to hear his definition of an ideal wife. She looked and the mirror and called herself an ideal wife by cupping her face. She kept looking at herself for some time and then hide her face with her hands feeling shy for acting crazy in front of Sidharth.

They both came out and took blessings from Rita who wished them a happy anniversary and blessed them. They went to a nearby temple together and after coming back Shehnaaz washed her hair and wore a black gown. She decided to keep her hair open as Sidharth love her open hair.

"Sidharth... Get ready for the award function and straighten my hair", Shehnaaz asked

"We will get ready there. I don't need to remove anything. Remember?" he, asked grinning because he don't need to keep changing to go out to different places. Only one dress is enough for him to look handsome and he teases her with the same. Shehnaaz nodded and gave straighter to him asking him to straighten her hair. She will not apply make-up as Sidharth told her in the car that her face is looking like she is glowing.

Sidharth nodded and straighten her hair and kissed her cheek. He now kisses her cheek whenever he gets time and loves showing his love to her. He feels that this is his responsibility. After getting ready they directly went to the award function rather than in the vanity van. They sat on the chair beside each other and looked at the stage where many actors are performing. Even they have a performance later so she will go backside after hearing the results. She sat straight when she heard the award winner is going to be announced now. She crossed her fingers and started to pray to God to make her win this one

"Just keep in mind. You gave your best and that's enough", Sidharth whispered near her ear and held her hand tightly in his.

"Your support is enough ", Shehnaaz said pressing her hand on his.

"Best Bollywood actress in Filmfare award goes to SHEHNAAZ GILL", the Anchor announcement making Shehnaaz jump in excitement. Sidharth also got up happily and congratulated her

"I knew it. Congratulations baby", he congratulated. Shehnaaz hugged him tightly and replied with a "Thank you". With that, she went to the stage excitedly. This award is not her first award but yes, her first Filmfare award which was her dream.

"Congratulations Miss Shehnaaz Gill", said the Anchor giving her an award as well as a mic

"Thank you so much", Shehnaaz thanked the anchor first and then looked towards the audience. Her eyes caught the attention of only one person, Sidharth Shukla. She took a long breath getting an idea of what to say now

"This award was my dream but I used to think that I am not capable of winning this award. My family and especially one person made me believe that I can do it. If not for thier support then I would have left Bollywood a long ago.

This award is dedicated to you, Mr Sidharth Shukla. Thank you so much for investing time in me and making me believe that I am a good actor. In this fake world, I got you as my best friend and I feel lucky to meet you. More than me you deserve this award. My Family also supported but in this field, his support is the reason I'm receiving this award here. Can you share this stage with me? Please?", Shehnaaz told her feelings confidently looking into his eyes. Sidharth's eyes moistened as he never thought she will dedicate this award to him. He went to the stage and pulled her into a tight hug to get strength. When he broke the hug, Shehnaaz gave her award to him which didn't go well with him

"Congratulations Shehnaaz and thanks for dedicating this award to me. But this is your hard work", Sidharth said and gave the award back to her

"It is your hard work, Sidharth. Take it", Shehnaaz said acting stubbornly and turning her face aside. Sidharth sighed in defeat and took the award but he felt like cheating her so he held her hand and placed her hand on the trophy. He took the mic from her and looked towards the audience

"This award. Best actress is well deserving", Sidharth said and gave the award back to her and walked forward to speak about her. He wants to feel her special just like he felt a minute ago

"She is the best girl I ever meet in this industry. It's been 10 years I'm working in this industry and I bet no one can make you feel like family like she does. She is always the best version of herself. She is a kid and I laugh at her antics rather than taking anything to heart because I know she is very pure ", Sidharth said and looked back at her. Shehnaaz passed a smile to him and blinked her eyes in assurance as she can't behave like his wife here.

"I want to share something with you all. Can I?", Sidharth asked from the audience as well as from the anchor. They all approved him and Sidharth took a long breath before speaking about her. His love.

"When she entered Bollywood she received hatred from many people. From fans and other actors as well. I want to give my point of view openly today", Sidharth said as he noticed many actors who defamed Shehnaaz and he want to slap them sweetly with his words today because no one has any right to hurt her and judge her.

"I saw many people judging her and calling her characterless because of her failed relationship. Those people believed that the unknown man without any proof and blamed this innocent without knowing the actual matter. And they said that she uses boys. Why so? If a girl is comfortable talking with boys is she characterless? Then why do you people say girls should get the freedom to talk with boys openly and we should normalise boys as best friends?
(A/N: I want to say that in real also because many people are saying she forgot Sidharth. First of all, she can never forget him and second, she has all right to move on in her life. She is young and she has all rights to marry someone)

Is the girl wrong if she has a boy as her best friend? Why not the same for boys? I have seen boys having many girls as their friends then why he is not wrong? Why can't this society accept a girl with a past? Past means past yar. That should not affect the present. If a girl is staying loyal then respect her. Even if she left you then respect her decision. If you can't forgive then don't but at least mind your words. She is not wh*re. No one should abuse a girl like this. How can cheap people threaten girls with those bad comments? Is Shehnaaz spending your money? Did she cheat you? Then why hate?", Sidharth asked Z his voice was raised automatically thinking about the past and his eyes turned red remembering what Shehnaaz faced initially in Bollywood. Shehnaaz sensed his anger and feared that he fought with those people who defamed her.

"Sidharth...", Shehnaaz said but Sidharth interrupted her when she came forward to stop him

"No Sidharth today Shehnaaz", Sidharth said. Shehnaaz bit her lower lip and realised that they are behaving as a couple in front of many people.

"She goes with me and then posts her pictures with another man then why are others jealous? When I don't have any problem then why do you guys have? I see many actors saying Shehnaaz is not real then let me tell you one thing. She is the only genuine person I meet here. She is well deserving of this award and I wish you get more success Shehnaaz I will kill people if someone hurt you ", he said angrily looking at Shehnaaz lovingly. His eyes scream love for her but not for the face world. He hates everyone because they don't love her.

"Wow that was heart-touching ", said the anchor and they heard loud applause. Shehnaaz ran towards him and hugged him tightly to calm her angry lion who is ready to pounce on the people who hurt her. She kissed his chest with moistened eyes as she felt so happy hearing him taking a stand for her. Fresh happy tears fell from her eyes realising that she got a gem as her husband
