Jewel looked at the blonde in front of him and sighed. "I don't think anyone's cute or attractive. Although I do have someone in mind," Jewel said looking at him.

"Really? Who is it?" Jaune asked looking at the white haired male in front of him.

"Keep in mind I don't like her she's just caught my attention is all," Jewel said looking at the blonde male in front of him.

"Alright got it, now tell me who it is," Jaune said looking at the male in front of him.

"It's Cinder," Jewel said looking at him.

"The new girl? She's a bit old but hey who am I to judge. So what is it you like about her?" Jaune asked looking at the male.

"I don't like anything about her. She's just managed to capture my attention is all. She has something familiar about her. I'm not sure what it is but she definitely reminds me of something," Jewel said looking at him.

"So are you going to ask her out?" Jaune asked looking at the male. The male thought about it for a moment before looking back at his friend.

"I suppose so, although I'm only asking her to find out more about her," Jewel said looking at him.

"Well then you better hurry after all the dance is tonight," Jaune said looking at him. Jewel sighed hearing this and walked out of the room.

As he walked down the hallway he heard the voice of the female he was looking for and walked up to her. When he did the female smiled at him. "Hello Jewel what can I do for you?" She asked looking at him.

"Hey Cinder, I was wondering would you be interested in going to the dance with me?" Jewel asked looking at her. Cinder was a little shocked to hear this and looked at him.

She had her own plans tonight yet at the same time she knew who Jewel was. She remembered what he was capable of. This could be a good opportunity to get him on her side.

"Sure Jewel, sounds fun," she said looking at him. Jewel smiled at this and walked away. However as he did Cinder also smiled and turned around.

If she could get him on her side it would make things so much easier for her. After all with his power and her plan it'd be hard to stop them.

It'd make things a little tricky for her juggling what she had planned with him but she was sure she could pull it off. Jewel however had no idea what Cinder was planning.

Jewel walked into his room and looked around. The first thing he noticed was that Jaune was not in the room. Jewel shrugged this off and walked to his closet.

He then pulled out a suit that Ozpin had given him on the first day of school. He put on the suit and waited until it was time for the dance to start.

When it was time he walked out of his door and down the halls of Beacon. He walked to Cinder's dorm and knocked on the door. When he did the female opened the door.

Jewel was a little surprised to see what she was wearing. She was wearing a long black dress. Jewel was surprised because he had seen her wear a dress earlier that day except that it was red.

"Ready to go?" Jewel asked offering the female in front of him a his hand. She nodded and took Jewel's hand. When she did the two began to walk down the street until they got to the dance.

When they did they saw that several people were dancing with one another. Jewel looked at the female beside him and once again offered her a hand "Want to dance?" Jewel asked looking at her.

Cinder in any other circumstances would have told him no but she needed to get him to join her. If her plan was to succeed then she knew that he would make it much easier. "Of course," she said taking his hand.

As the two walked out into the crowd of people the music suddenly changed. Jewel looked at Cinder and the two came much closer to each other.

"Didn't know you could dance," Cinder said looking at him.

"This is actually a first for me, but glad to see that I'm not horrible," Jewel said looking at her. This caused Cinder to smile even if it was a little stupid.

However as time went on Cinder didn't forget her main objective for the night and separated from Jewel. "I'm a little thirsty, could you get me something to drink?" Cinder asked looking at Jewel.

Jewel nodded and walked over to where the drinks where. When Jewel turned around to look for the female he had came there with he couldn't find her.

"How odd," Jewel said aloud as he began to look for her. Jewel however did notice something that struck him as a little odd. He saw someone standing at the door of the building.

He didn't think much of it at first that was until he noticed that he was staring at him. He had never seen the male before and that bothered him just a bit.

Jewel started to walk towards him. However when he did the male walked outside and around the corner. Jewel had an odd feeling so he set down the drink he had gotten for Cinder and also walked outside.

He followed the male and when they reached the back of the building the male he was following suddenly turned around and looked at him.

Before Jewel could say anything the male ran at him and started to attack him. The first thing he tried to do was kick Jewel in the head. However Jewel ducked under his attack and looked at the male.

Jewel then saw another leg coming towards his side. Jewel held up his arm when he saw this and stopped the attack. Jewel noticed something strange about the attack.

Even though he had contact with the male he couldn't feel his aura. That and his leg was much harder than a normal persons leg. Jewel pushed he male back and tried to kick his leg with his own.

The male however jumped over his attack. Jewel looked at the male and used the hand that was on the ground to change the direction of his attack.

Jewel's leg was now flying up and he kicked the male in the jaw. This sent the male back and caused him to look at the male in front of him. However the males watch went off and he looked troubled.

He kicked in Jewel's direction and sent a rocket at his feet. Jewel jumped back to avoid the the attack but it caused a small explosion and a large amount of dust to stir.

When it cleared Jewel saw that the male was no longer there. He sighed seeing this and walked into the building when he did he saw the female he had been looking for ealier dancing with another male.

Jewel recognised the male from earlier that day. He was a member of her team. Jewel sighed seeing this and picked up the drink he had gotten for her.

He walked up to the two of them and interrupted their dance. "Here's you drink Cinder," Jewel said looking at the female. Cinder grew a little nervous at this and took the drink.

After all if Jewel decided to make a scene then it would make it easier for Ruby to spot here. "Jewel I-" Cinder began only to have Jewel cut her off.

"Don't worry about it," Jewel said looking at her. "I just wanted to find out something was all, so can I see your hand?" Jewel asked looking at her.

"I suppose so," Cinder said holding out her hand. When Jewel took it he began to examine her aura. It was then that he figured out why Cinder looked so familiar to him.

She was the female who had offered to adopt him so many years ago. He could never mistake her aura. It was still as violent and evil as it was the day he had left. If Jewel didn't know any better he would have thought that the harmful intent behind it had grown slightly.

"Thanks, I'll see you later," Jewel said releasing her hand and walking to the side of room. A few seconds later and a two females walked up to him.

I regonized one of them as Ruby Rose. However he wasn't familiar with the second figure in front of him. "Hey Ruby, who's this?" Jewel asked looking at her.

"This is a friend of mine," Ruby said looking at Jewel. She then turned to look at the female beside her. She had orange hair and green eyes. "Penny this is my friend Jewel," Ruby said looking at her.

"Pleased to make your acquaintance," Penny said sticking her hand out. Jewel thought she was a little odd but took her hand nonetheless.

"Likewise," Jewel said as they shook hands.

"Ruby's told me a little bit about you. She says that you'd be my friend, is this true? Will you be my friend?" She asked looking at male in front of her.

Jewel smiled at this and nodded. "I don't have any reason not to be your friend so sure why not," Jewel said looking at her. This made the female smile.

They three of them then heard a loud cough and turned to see a male pointing at his watch. Penny sighed seeing this and turned to the two figures in front of her.

"I have to go," she said walking away. When she left Ruby sat down and looked at Jewel.

"So Jaune told me you had a date. Where is she?" Ruby asked looking at him.

"She ditched me for someone else on her team," Ruby said looking at him.

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that," Ruby said looking at him.

"Don't be, the only reason I asked to this dance was so that I could figure something out. I figured it out, so there's no reason to feel bad for me," Jewel said looking at the female in front of him.

"But Jaune said that you liked her," Ruby said looking at the male. Jewel let out a slightly frustrated groan when he heard this and looked at Ruby.

"I told Jaune that she caught my attention. Not that I liked her. I was very careful to say it like that to," Jewel said looking at her.

"Oh well if that's the case then who do you like?" Ruby asked looking at Jewel. The white haired male looked at Ruby before letting out a sigh.

"You want to know who I like?" Jewel asked looking at her.

"Of course I do," Ruby said looking at him.

"And I can trust you not to spread rumors like Jaune?" Jewel asked looking at the female.

"Of course you can trust me," Ruby said looking at the male.
