[CHAPTER 4 : WELCOME TO TOWA CITY.]
Apologies For The slow updates!
-----
Toko groans as she fixes her glasses waiting with Komaru near the helicopter landing pad, "Gngh—! Th-This is so idiotic! W-W-Why would Naegi even bring her back again?!" Toko complaining as grips her skirt's fabric tightly.
"W-Well, to be honest, i wish i knew either but i'm sure if she does anything shifty we can just take her out! Together." Komaru said as she holds Toko's hand.
"Heh, i guess friendship does have it perks in the long run." Toko said as she looks at Komaru's eyes, Komaru quickly pulling her hand away blushing, "W-Well of course! It's been years since! I-I'm glad i met you, Toko." Komaru said as Toko smiles warmly.
Komaru has been very confused, way too confused recently. Why does she feel like this around Toko? Brushing it off only made it felt stronger.
She wasn't one for love, and Toko already has someone she likes. And it wasn't like Toko could ever like women like she does.
Toko can't know, she shouldn't. It was for the best for the both of them, there's no way things won't change after Komaru tells her best friend how she truly felt about her. It will hurt, for a very long time.
But she's one to accept that this is their fate, their destiny, her hope for her friend.
Komaru's thoughts got blocked off by the helicopter's propellers were heard from a distance. Toko looks ahead with scrunched eyebrows already having to prepare herself for the worst.
Slowly after a helicopter was seen at the distance, landing carefully and slowly as the strong winds blew Toko and Komaru's hair as well as they're clothing.
The helicopter then slowly started to turn off as the sliding doors opens aggressively, "Miss me?" Junko asked Toko while grinning as she got down from the helicopter with 3 other future foundation members.
Toko groans and rolled her eyes as she crosses her arms together, Komaru being shocked, "Wow, her boobs ARE hug—" Komaru got cut off by Toko's palm flying to her mouth to shut her up.
The 3 Future Foundation members undos Junko's handcuffs as they gave Toko and Komaru the signal as they got back to the copter and flew away. "Heey, what's up?" Junko said while doing finger guns at both.
Toko groans as she started to walk away, "L-Let's just go, we don't want drawing you attention." she replied.
"Come on Junko, we're going to the hotel Toko and I usually sleep at!" Komaru said as she grabs Junko's wrist and started pulling her.
Junko scoffs, "Chill out, i'm gonna walk with you, it's not like i'm going anywhere." Junko said as Toko scoffs back, "W-Well not like w-we're believing that, s-so Komaru keep h-holding her wrist!" she replied while grinning with pride.
"Aye aye captain!" Komaru said as she salutes like a soldier making Junko roll her eyes remembering her older sister when she sees how Toko and Komaru interacts, it reminded her so much of the past.
Junko shooks her head to focus on what she's onto right now, taking back her throne. It shouldn't matter to her, right? But why was she suddenly hurting?
A few therapy sessions and she's already feeling something else other than, boredom. How pathetic, the Ultimate Despair feeling such emotions? Wasn't she the atrociously perfect human?
Yet why is she feeling guilt, hurt, and even disgusted of herself. She hates herself, she didn't get why Mukuro agreed to her, or why she even followed her.
She wished Mukuro could've done something to be herself for once, after all... She loves her, she misses her older sister.
She— How boring, feeling something she can easily predict. There's no way Despair can even be close to getting overthrown by Hope. Even just hearing the word makes her disgusted with the thought.
These thoughts filled Junko's mind as she started to space out, frowning her eyebrows as she shook her head once more to complete snap out of it. Thankfully she did so, she should never get distracted. Especially when she's finally free like this.
The three got back down to Towa tower as they walked out the entrance, the city was fixing itself, not perfect but enough for cars to drive around and people to walk. "So, where are the kids?" Junko asks to break the awkward silence the three of them have fallen into.
"Hm? Oh! The 4 are with Future Foundation getting their treatment!" Komaru replied back as they pass by a bus of 16 students in a field trip. While walking Junko overheard them having a conversation.
"This used to be more advanced than the others, i wonder why it's still beginning to fix itself." The girl with the blue hair in glasses said.
"Well i've heard during the incident the people were at war so much they abandoned this place." The boy with the hat said putting his chin in between his thumb and index finger.
Junko wanted to hear more about what the kids talk about these days but she didn't have the chance as three of them walked away, "Wait you said 4 right? There's 5 of them where's the last one?" Junko asks worriedly.
"Oh? Well...She kind of went to space, she's still there! We do have communications with her...We're just letting her grow up for a bit, i'll believe she'll be back soon." Komaru replies.
Junko sighs replying with, "Huh, i guess i was just overthinking it." Komaru then looks back at Junko with a smile. "You really do care for those kids do you?" She asked Junko.
Junko's face lit up slightly then looked away, "Y-Yeah, i guess you can say that." she said while sighing. "It was just...Those kids, went through a lot and so much for silly old me to be all using them for my plans." Junko added.
Komaru looks at Junko puzzled as she pulled her next to her shoulder wrapping her arm around the taller girl, "Well i'm sure they still love and care for you! I bet you when they know you're alive and kickin' they will be ecstatic to see you!" Komaru exclaims.
Junko looks down to the shorter girl then scoffs, "Yeah as if, they're all going for a better life now...Y'know this, hope thing is the best for them anyways."
Toko glances behind her to look at Junko as she rolls her eyes, "W-Well, don't go a-all sappy on me! I-I won't f-fall for it!" Toko says as she clicks her tongue and crosses her arms together.
Junko grins, "Oh well i guess that's expected of being such a boring person like me! I don't even know what to fucking feel around you bitches! So i just make shit up!" Junko chuckles as Toko groans.
Komaru laughs as she looks ahead of them, the blue cold skies started to finally show up. It's slowly transitioning to a more colder weather than usual.
Komaru shivers as she hugs herself to stay warm, "Why aren't you guys wearing your future foundation uniforms anyways?" Junko wonders as they reached the hotel's steps to go in.
Toko steps up on the stairs and crossed her arms together, "They got us wrong sizes for it, b-but they said it'll come in tonight!" she answers Junko as all three of them went in the much more warmer building.
Honestly, nothing too fancy with the place, it was quiet, and quaint. Junko hummed while looking around the place as Toko rolled her eyes.
"Well SORRY we don't stay in a lavished p-place like what you expected." Toko blurts out in annoyance getting Junko's attention.
Junko scoffs in response, "Oh please, i don't really mind the place. But that doesn't mean i can't utterly judge how boring it actually makes me feel."
'Everything bores you.' Toko said in her thoughts as she grits her teeth and turned back around to lead the way once again.
After arriving at their room Junko sits down by the bed as she places her bag next to her, "So, like all i have to do is be with the two of you 24/7? That's the dumb idea future foundation came up with for this "treatment" experiment they're putting me on?" Junko suddenly blasted both Komaru and Toko with questions as they both looked at each other.
Toko opened her mouth and was about to shout insults at Junko but Komaru spoke instead. "Oh of course not! We're here to help you make friends, help people, and all that jazz!"
"...What?"
