Part 5
Every part of this story can be read as stand-alone as well ;)
____
Arnav and Arush left for office but on their way to AR Arnav got a call from the construction site as some problem has come up so he has to reach there himself to tackle it.
Arnav couldn't take Arush with him obviously for it'd be dangerous. So he thought to drop Arush home and then go to the site. But his little one was in no mood to go home without visiting office.
After much coaxing and even offering him many bribes in terms of toys, his favourite snacks and dessert the boy wouldn't budge.
"Office. Arush is going to office!" He huffed and sat with his arms crossed over his chest with his head turned to the window adorably.
Arnav cursed his stupid genes in those moments for Arush surely inherited his own stubbornness in abundance.
He was amazed gazing at the obstinate look on his son's face and mentally admitted something which he has had multiple times already.
Definitely it's karma ASR for how you troubled your mother in your childhood the same way!
Arush said he wanted to imitate his Papa. Little did he know he was already the ditto little version of his father and Arnav was practically living his own childhood the second time with him.
"Papa, Arush is going to office. Okay?" He mimicked Arnav's adamant look on his face perfectly without knowing. That Arnav who was dumbfounded before found himself smiling and shaking his head.
"As you order, your highness!" Arnav chuckled and started the car again while instructing him to be a good boy he dialled Aman while taking a turn on the road.
Giving strict instructions to his PA to be with Arush like a shadow for he'd be dropping off his son to AR soon.
"Aman, I don't want any negligence. Consider today your holiday. Handover your work to your assistant and you'd be with Arush until I come back to office. Understood? Good. We've reached. Come to the parking lot." He cut the call parking his car at his usual spot and turned his head to his son whose enthusiasm was back.
"Happy now?" Arnav smirked.
Arush bobbed his head smiling wide.
"I'd try to be back asap. Till then you be with Aman uncle. If you need anything you'd ask him. Don't roam around without him. Be a good boy, okay?"
Arush grinned before a scowl formed on his face at his last words.
"I'm a good boy!" He gave him duh expressions.
Arnav snorted.
"Yes you are. But still, don't get angry. Don't play pranks on anyone. Don't eat much sweets either!" Arnav instructed him.
Arush pursed his lips before scrunching his nose just like his mother and nodded pouting.
Arnav smiled at his cuteness before reaching over to ruffle his hairs only for his two fingers to be grabbed by Arush's little hand. That was the only way the boy could stop his father.
"What?" Arnav asked quirking his eyebrow amused.
"Papa, don't mesh Arush hairs. I am going to office!" Arush said incredulously as if Arnav was about to commit a crime.
Arnav laughed before raising his hands in surrender.
"Oops. My bad."
Aman came and Arnav walked out of the car.
Another round of instructions followed to which Aman inwardly rolled his eyes when he was told that no carelessness towards the junior ASR would be tolerated or he'd be fired. Obviously he knew that. He gets fired a hundred times in a day anyway.
But today he didn't mind for he was excited today to meet junior Raizada. He only had a glimpse of him every now and then but never interacted with the little one till now.
Arnav unbuckled Arush, kissed his cheeks which the boy returned to him making him smile before handing him over to Aman who carried him up.
It happened in a split of a second most probably and lo and behold Aman Mathur was totally smitten with the bundle of joy as Arush wrapped his tiny arms around his neck greeting Aman with a wide grin on his face that the grown up man couldn't help but stare mesmerized as the spell of Arush Singh Raizada worked wonders on him successfully trapping another victim in his charms.
Arnav smirked proudly. His son has that affect on people irrespective of the gender.
He had no doubt on Aman's capability whatsoever but to be honest he was more worried for his poor Friday man than his son for he was sure Aman was in for a tough ride ahead. He may be smitten right now or awed at his overloaded cuteness but soon he'd regret thinking that way at all.
Arush was a little devil in the skin of an adorable small three and a half years old body.
Soon Aman Mathur was going to find that out. Arnav thought smirking while driving away for he knew his son too well that despite his warning and his advise of being good Arush was like Khushi in that matter. He listens his advises quietly but still does whatever he wants nonetheless.
Aman took an excited Arush inside AR thinking that today he'd be enjoying his holiday to the fullest with this adorable little man NOT knowing in which big trouble he has had himself trapped and what actually was awaiting him in his apparent 'OFF' day at office.
____
Arush entered AR holding Aman's index finger in his small hand and looked around intently at everything fascinated.
Aman was totally caught up in the charms of the baby boy in a few moments already as he smiled totally engrossed in his adorable expressions.
The way Arush was looking around as if he is some detective and has come here to arrest some criminal, made Aman snort not knowing in which track Arush's mind was working.
'This Aman Uncle is holding my hand as if I'm a shmall (small) child. Humph. I'll tell him who is shmall and who is bhig(big)' There his other half which was so Khushi like promised in his mind as mischievous rose to the fore.
In midst his thoughts he didn't realize when Aman again picked him up in his arms and introduced him to the staff who all got up oohing and aahing at his cuteness.
"Finally we get to see the handsome prince!"
Arush scrunched his face as he thought,
'Prince? I'm not a prince. I'm Maa's Rajkumar. Fools doesn't even know that.'
His irritation knew no bounds that everyone who met him whether male or female gave him moist kisses or say lip smacks all over his face testing his patience.
Moreover they piqued his annoyance by saying,
"Ole le le Jr. ASR. You're so cute. Muahh!"
"Muahh. Such a good boy you're. Muahh!"
"You're just like ASR. Muahh!"
"Aww see see even his scowl is adorable. Muahh!"
At the end of this Arush's face was full of red, pink or mixed colour lipstick marks. The little one was too shocked and bewildered at the sudden attack on his innocent senses by a crowd of grownups.
If that wasn't enough he was passed along the employees like a decoration piece as everyone started arguing to carry him next.
Arush's face was looking damn cute at that time as,
He was furious because he was also allergic to attention and love except from his family just like Arnav. At the same time he knew how to handle his anger within and keep a calm demeanor nonetheless just like Khushi.
He remembered his father's advise as well to be a good boy so he endured as long as he could but the famous ASR's temper soon rose to the fore when ladies started pulling his cheeks after already painting his face with all kinds of colors with their lipsticks.
All the laughter and commotion in the office died down in the next second as the pin drop silence followed after a very familiar yet unfamiliar holler reverberated in the office of the very familiar words.
"BASSH!(BAS!)"
(ENOUGH)
The woman who was holding him trembled for not only her but also everyone couldn't ignore the similarity between the voices and the expressions on his face only made it more scary. Even Aman looked taken aback and somewhat scared.
"Put me down right now!" He ordered looking at the employee holding him and she did bobbing her head like a robot.
As he huffed after finally getting down adjusting his clothes he turned his gaze to Aman and glared scaring the daylights out of the poor man.
Aman scratched the back of his neck and seriously looked afraid to approach the little man.
Suddenly Arush didn't look that adorable anymore but just a mini version of ASR himself spitting fire at him.
'No way Aman. No way a child could scare you. Be brave. He is just a kid. He can't be that dangerous.' Giving himself the prep talk Aman walked to him and as he knelt down to wipe his face taking the tissue from the table Arush's glare only intensified stopping his hand in mid air.
Aman gulped as his hand shook literally which Arush saw and inwardly smirked despite the irritation.
'Serves him right for letting me be treated like a mushium (museum) piece!'
'Just wait and watch Arush Singh Raizada would have his revenge for sure!'
Grinning inwardly he didn't remove the angry expressions from his face and placing his hands in his pockets asked Aman,
"Where is Papa's office?"
Aman pointed to the glass cabin upstairs. Arush nodded sternly and before turning to leave he saw everyone were stilled at their places with their jaws dropped and eyes widened in stupor. He bit back a smile amused.
"Is there some stathue(statue) competition going on here? GET BACK TO WORK!" No sooner than that they dispersed stumbling over each other panicking with his order while Aman face palmed himself.
'As if one ASR was not enough' Thought Aman shaking his head.
"I'm going to Papa's office. Bring something to remove this shtupid(stupid) marks from my face." Arush gritted out before marching off upstairs and with his little hands pushed open the glass door and entered in his father's cabin before grinning looking around satisfied.
Aman gaped in his wake. In that moment he knew this wasn't holiday but his promotion from one part of the hell to another.
Hitting his palm over his head he stood up before grabbing the pack of wet wipes and climbed the stairs praying to get through this day without getting roasted.
"Oh I so prayed ASR's son to be more like Khushi Bhabhi." Aman was now going into self-pity mode.
"Why? Why God? Why me?" He whined before composing himself entered the cabin and for a moment stood shocked seeing the junior ASR sitting on his father's leather chair royally behind his desk with his one leg perched over the other and his arms folded against his chest with the chair turned towards the door.
Any other time he'd have smiled for the kid was looking too adorable and so small in that big chair but Aman has had his lessons downstairs and he was the man who always learns from his mistakes and never repeat them.
Sitting there boy's narrowed gaze were fixed on Aman to which the grown up man gulped under the little three years old stare.
"Will you keep standing there Aman Uncle?" Arush smiled sweetly in the next moment and unknowingly he perfectly raised a single brow at that exact moment.
Aman fumbled whilst he felt the alarm ringing in his head literally as he approached the little man and kneeling down in front of him started wiping his face.
"Do you want to eat or drink something?" Asked Aman cautiously once he was done.
At that Arush's brain clicked with a plan.
"Yes I do. Bring me a cup of toffee!"
"Which flavor of toffees do you want Aru--umm Sir?" Aman was shocked at himself at the amount of fear raising in him.
It isn't my fault though. He consoled himself. How can he not be scared as this child is a remix copy of Sr.ASR?
"What the? I'm asking to bring a cup of toffee not toffees!" (LOL)
Aman was horrified and totally confused. Wasn't it what he asked him? Why the anger then?
"But I'm also asking about toffees only?" He asked unsure.
"Toffee Aman Uncle that my Papa drink every morning!" Arush said annoyed thinking that something was wrong with the PA's head.
It clicked Aman then and this time he couldn't control the chortle leaving him.
"Oh you mean coffee. You're too cut-" He sobered up and sealed his lips at the look Arush gave him.
"Do as I said. I don't need your plaise (praise),"
Aman nodded barely holding his smile and almost ran out of the office before he burst out laughing.
Okay he is scary but he is still so cute! Aman thought as he came to the cafeteria and was in dilemma of what to give Arush for he was sure coffee can not be given to a three years old. Thinking something he dialed a number knowing who could help him.
In the cabin, Arush observed the surrounding keenly.
Files were placed on the table. A family photo in which Arush, Khushi and Arnav were smiling at the camera was placed at the right side. Arush smiled proudly seeing that.
Things were arranged neatly just like his father liked. He became more excited as he recalled how Arnav worked at home in his study sometimes and another idea stuck him making him more enthusiastic.
Meanwhile Aman entered back holding the cup of 'toffee' (actually the chocolate milkshake he made by the instructions given by Khushi Bhabhi) and placed it in front of him on the table before turning when Arush stopped him.
"Aman Uncle bring the files for today's meetings," Said Arush leaning back on the chair holding the cup up to his lips and smirked behind it when he saw Aman's jaws dropping at his demand.
"W-What? Meetings files? But what will you do with--" He stopped as he saw the boy's expressions changing from blank to furious.
"Will play cricket with them. Humph. Of course I have to go through them. What else am I here for?" Arush was now seriously doubting Aman's mental capability. How could he not know this simple thing? He has no common sense. Uff!
At that moment Aman envied his own assistant who was doing his work today. If only he wasn't given a holiday today then he'd have had done the work in which he excelled already. Handling a little three year old and his outstanding demands was definitely not his cup of tea.
"You really like to stare Math Uncle." Arush commented.
"Math Uncle?" Aman's mouth opened and closed like a fish. What the?
"Yes isn't that your full name? Aman Mathim. Math is short form isn't it?" Arush said smugly.
Aman felt like banging his own head to the wall in front. His head spun. No one ever has come up with this much weird pronunciation of his name or gave him this nickname ever. For sure he was Khushi Bhabhi's son. Only she excels in giving unbelievable nicknames to others.
Totally traumatized he kept standing stock still.
"Stop staring now and bring the files. NOW RUN!"
As if his legs had a mind of his own Aman 'Math' Uncle found himself running out. In his wake the little devil giggled placing his palm over his mouth.
Aman made some files himself with unimportant papers and brought them to the cabin and placed them in front of Arush.
Standing beside the table Aman's shock transformed soon into amusement as he witnessed the junior ASR's next course of action.
He dragged the chair close to the desk still sitting on it and picking one file placed it on his lap and started opening every page of every file and drank the 'toffee' as well in midst.
Though he didn't get a single word still he was reading the files as if he did. As if he is the most intelligent person on this earth. Uh, maybe, planet. No, the universe. Yes!
"Go and work. Don't stand over my head." Arush said seriously without taking his eyes off the papers.
Aman was too tempted to take a video or a picture of the scene in front but he was too afraid to disobey the little one as well so he quietly left thinking to check on him after a few minutes.
Once done satisfied with his own work Arush placed the last file back on the pile and leaned back stretching leisurely.
Then his eyes fell on intercom placed on the left side of the table. Grinning he picked the receiver and brought it to his ear. In that process he accidently pressed the button which connect to Aman's cabin.
"Aman Mathur speaking!" Came his busy voice.
Mischievous rose higher in Junior ASR as he giggled inwardly.
"Arush Singh Raizada shpeaking(speaking)!" Arush said with as much authority as he could.
"Oh do you need anything? Should I come to your cabin?" Aman's voice turned attentive in seconds.
"Yes I want another cup of toffee!" Arush said innocently.
"Sure!" Aman said not knowing what was awaiting him.
Bringing the fresh cup Aman placed it on the table and picked the other empty one.
"Bring another cup of toffee." Arush said without touching the cup he just placed before him.
"Huh?" Aman frowned. "But Sir. Umm okay. Right away!" Scratching his head Aman left and in his wake the little devil laughed.
The whole office saw then as Aman ran back downstairs to the cafe before bringing another cup upstairs.
Now Arush's actual teasing started as it didn't stop there.
"One more cup Aman Uncle!"
"Another!"
"One more!"
"One more. RUN!"
"One more!"
"Two more!"
"One more!"
"Three more!"
By the time Arush finished his orders the whole table in front of him was full of filled cups of 'toffee' with a sweating Aman standing beside the table breathing harshly.
As Arush opened his mouth to say something Aman rasped,
"Yes I get it. You want four more, right?"
Arush chuckled devilishly.
"No. Get someone to clean the table Aman Uncle." He smirked devilishly.
"Maa said this much sugar isn't good for health. I can't drink it all."
Aman's eyes almost popped out of his sockets whilst he felt like pulling his hairs out. Even years of working with ASR wasn't this hard as compared to this few hours with the junior ASR.
"I hope you don't mind Aman Uncle. Do you?" He asked blinking his eyes innocently.
Aman fumbled as he again got caught up in his adorable charms and quickly said,
"Of course I don't." Aman smiled widely. His tiredness long forgotten.
Arush giggled inwardly. Aman left to fulfill his order.
One down. Now the rest of them to go!
Thought Arush Singh Raizada as he came to stand in front of the glass walls outlooking the office downstairs also his culprits who thought of him as some fluffy yellow duck to paint his face like a canvas and passed him around like a decoration piece.
Putting his tiny hands in his pant pockets he half-smiled as he formulated the next course of action as he saw the staff giving sympathy glances to Aman coupled with mirth as well.
'Don't worry. I'll give you more shtuff(stuff) to laugh soon.' Arush thought smirking naughtily.
Not Aman Uncle, they'd soon pity themselves!
____
As the helper cleared the table Arush gestured to Aman to come closer. Aman walked and knelt beside him whilst little one stood in front of the glass walls.
He pointed to the two people downstairs and said.
"Bring them to my office."
Aman was curious as well as shocked. Curious because he didn't know why he wanted to call them up particularly and shocked because Arush casually draped his one arm around his shoulder like they were best buddies.
What Aman didn't know that Arush annoyance over him vanished the moment he has had his 'sweet' revenge. Now he has moved on to his next target whilst Aman was now clean as slate in the boy's mind.
Like his mother he couldn't keep grudges for long. He has had his own set of paybacks for the people who annoy him and once he is done avenging he just moves on without any hard feelings.
A totally confused Aman went to call them whilst Arush sat back on his leather chair royally.
Two women entered the cabin behind Aman after a minute.
"What is your name?" Arush asked and there Aman who stood a step behind them understood as it struck him like a bolt of lightening of what was happening here.
He mentally cursed himself for being so stupid to not have guessed it till now. Little ASR was irritated with AR staff including Aman for what happened upon his arrival. After making him pay Jr. ASR was now onto have his vengeance on the rest of the staff.
Aman heaved a sigh of relief for his payback was done that he can now stand back and watch the show as others get their due punishment. This would be fun.
"I asked what's your name? Is it that hard to answer?" Arush glared. These two have given him the most hugs and kisses. Argh! He was feeling irritated all over again.
"I'm Sim and she is Pam," Simantha answered stammering whilst the women trembled before a three year old. Aman pursed his lips to stop himself from smiling.
"Chim, Pan," Arush said and Aman covered his laugh with a cough whilst Sim and Pam looked at him with their jaws dropped.
"What are you wearing?" He asked sweetly suddenly forming a charming smile on his face.
Aman bit his lips for he himself got trapped by that smile not so long ago. He now knew what it meant. These ladies were so doomed.
"It is amazing isn't it?" Pam said excitedly. "It is the latest fashion trend in Europe."
The smile on Arush's face gave them the encouragement to open their mouth.
"Mine is the limited edition skirt of this famous UK brand." Sim added proudly with a smile.
Their smile slipped as they saw his expression changing from soft to murderous.
Aman chuckled inwardly. There you go!
"In which company do you work?" Arush asked glaring at them.
"A-AR," Pam stuttered.
"In which country do you live?" Came his next query. Now even Aman was confused. Where was he going with this?
"India," Sim said fidgeting with her fingers.
"Then why are you wearing some other country's dress and representing some other brand's work?" Arush quirked his eyebrow.
This time not only Sim and Pam but also Aman was dumbfounded with their mouths hanged open and eyes widened in shock.
How does this little one know about all this stuff about representing or presenting other brands?
Little did they know that Arush was not only a keen observer but also possessed a very high intelligence quotient for whenever or whatever he heard his father say or talk over his phone or sometimes in his conference calls at home he has had imprinted everything and has absorbed it all in his mind and personality.
"I-- We-- I mean-- actually-"
"I don't want any explanation. Go and change into AR clothes. And not some shkirt(skirt) or anything. I want every one of female shtaff(staff) in a tladitional(traditional) Saree and men in Kurta pajama in half an hour!"
The trio gaped at him stock still for several moments.
"What are you looking at? GO AND FOLLOW MY ORDERS!"
They jumped at their place and almost ran out to carry out his commands.
Thus in the next half an hour a chaos ensued in AR. At the end of which all the ladies were in different colors of sarees while all men in different shaded Kurta pajamas whilst a totally flabbergasted staff including Aman looked at each other perspiring not knowing what else was awaiting them while they prayed desperately in their minds for the return of Sr. ASR.
Only he can save them now from the little devil who have been sitting upstairs on the throne right now probably thinking some other way to sweetly torture them with that cute innocent smirk on his face spitting image of his father's.
Just like Arush wanted everyone pitied themselves leisurely whilst returning to their work with the fear of Jr. ASR now imbibed in their minds permanently.
Imagine if it's the condition of the employees right now then what would happen in future when he'd eventually rise to the throne in actual. Poor future AR and it's employees!
