Public Review Form
A public review is when I review your book, and publish it on here. You won't be able to see it until I post it; however, I will tag you in the chapter so that you can see it as soon as it's up. If you have questions about a particular section of the review once it's been posted, I will gladly explain it better and will offer to help fix/or offer suggestions of how to fix the improvements for ONE chapter of the story.
I am a strong believer that every book has some room to improve on, and has something good inside of it. Because of that, each review will contain what I like, what I didn't like about the book, and what I think could be improved.
There are some optional parts to this form. If you do not want them, then you don't have to answer them. These parts are to help promote your book as I won't do both a review and promo for a book. So, if you want your book to be somewhat promoted along with it being reviewed, the following three options are something to look into. Feel free to choose, one, two, all three, or none at all.
The first optional part is interviews. An interview is a wonderful way for you, the writer, to talk about your book. It will be through private message, and how it works is that when I'm done reading the book/writing the review, I'll start private messaging you questions about your story or questions for the review. Don't worry if you can't reply right away or feel late in responding. I understand that there is a time zone difference, so don't feel rushed if you noticed I respond late or ask a question a while ago.
The second optional part is comments. Comments are made by your readers, saying how much they enjoyed your book or the likes. You can have up to 3 comments in your review. Keep in mind, when I quote their comments, I will be tagging them in the review as well, so if your readers don't seem to be the kind to like attention, please don't use a comment from them. However, this part is a way to thank them for reading, and let them know you really appreciate their comments and support. It's also a good way of advertising as it shows what readers think about your book.
Finally, the last option is a quote from your book that stands out. This could be a life changing event in the book, a funny line, or anything you think will help you book stand out. You can have only one quote in the review (excluding the lines I may use for critiquing purposes).
Again, don't feel pressured into doing any of these options if you don't want to. This is just a unique service I do in hopes to help you gain more readers for promotional purposes. If you just want a review, then you can disregard those and fill out the necessary components.
If a book is terribly long, I may not read all of it. My goal will be to read the entire story (or whatever's posted at the time of the request); however, if my off-Wattpad life gets too hectic, crazy, whatnot, I may not read all of it. I will read at least five chapters (ten if I can), but I will try to read all of it. If you want me to read the entire book, no matter how long time will take for it, please specify that in the request.
As for a book chapter minimum, I would like it if you had at least 5 parts published; however, if you have 2 parts published and still would like a review, I will still review it. Just keep in mind the more chapters published, the better of a review I can give. This, of course, is with the exception of short stories and one-shots, which are also acceptable.
And I think that's everything. The following is the form you need to fill out for a review.
Public Review
1.) Title of Book
2.) Length of Book (in regards to chapters/parts)
3.) Genre (all that applies)
4.) Update schedule (if book is unfinished. If finished, please comment N/A. If updates are random, please put Random).
5.) Why would you like your book reviewed (just so I know what needs to be concentrated on, if you're wanting to enter it in a contest, if you want candid advice, etc etc).
6.) Spoilers or no spoilers (are you're okay with me spilling all of the books plot twists, future scenes, and whatnot? If not, that's okay, and I will make sure I don't spoil anything major).
7.) Contract: By stating "I agree" on this part, you are agreeing that I am allowed to read your book, point out all the good, the bad, the ugly from the book. You won't be rude about anything that is said, and will keep an open mind. What you do with my critique is up to you, but you must be open to not be rude about what I have to say.
In return, I, Junie, promise to point out the good, the bad, and things that needs improving. I promise I'll use constructive criticism and won't be too harsh in what I have to say as all I want is to help you, the writer, grow.
8.) OPTIONAL: Interview
9.) OPTIONAL: Comments
10.) OPTIONAL: Quotes
Now, you can make a request via comment or private message. Before I accept, I'll quickly skim through your book, to make sure that I can give it a review. If I think I'm not capable of doing so due to genre, spelling, or whatever reason there may be, I will kindly ask for you to switch requests to a promo or see another critic. I don't normally do this, but I will if I don't think there's any way I can help.
If you don't want your review to be made publicly, please flip to the next chapter, titled "Private Review Form" to see the form there.
