Chapter 1

~Dohee~

"Aw, man," I sighed, "I spent more than I should. Again."

"Are you even surprise anymore?" my boyfriend of two years, Eunho said in a bored tone. We'd just walked out of a shop when he claimed that he had better things to do then hang with me. Honestly, why am I with this kind of guy anyways?

I put my receipts in my handbag, "Do you want to eat now?"

Eunho looked at me for a long time before he shook his head, "No. I've got plans."

"Tonight?"

"No."

"No?"

Eunho sighed, "I'm a busy man, Dohee so I have other things to do tonight. Anyways, since we're done here, I'll see you whenever."

Without waiting for my response, he turned and walked away. When he disappeared out of sight, I walked towards the nearest café and ordered my favourite chocolate shake and drank in silence for a long time.

I heaved a sigh, playing with the straw. My mind goes back to Eunho and the past few months with him. He's not the same man I like when he asked me out two years ago. I felt him change and to be honest, I didn't care too. I thought it was just a stage that we all go through, that he'll come around or something. Obviously, he didn't because I came to know that he's been cheating on me. Well, I suspect he is anyways.

I remember seeing a few texts from a mysterious woman. How do I know it's a woman? Well, I rang her through Eunho's phone and she picked up. I was furious but I decided to keep quiet. Maybe it was a misunderstanding or something. Well, with the way Eunho's been ignoring me and avoiding spending time with me, I now know that's not the case. He was with another woman.

I even took a day off today to spend time with him since I've been neglecting him and spending too much time with my job. Well, so much for that since he's busy again. I love my job and I love the pay too. I'm an expensive girl, you know. I like to spend money on clothes, food and bracelets. Yes, I am addicted to buying bracelets—whether they are gold, silver, leather or anything. I love them all. I'm especially addicted to the ones with cute little charms on them too. It's been like that since I was thirteen years old. My parents thought I'd grow out of it when they saw my huge collection but I never got out of it.

I glanced down at my phone and saw that my mother had texted me.

Dohee, did you forget you have parents? Come home soon.

I smiled at that. My parents live in the countryside and because I hated living there, I decided to move to Seoul where I'd have a chance to experience something new. I love it here. Same with my job. Eventually, I forgot that I even have a home because I've been living here for so long now.

Next time I'm on holiday. Maybe in a month or so?

Make sure you do.

My mind goes back to Eunho. He's met my parents once but he never showed any interest which really hurt me because I love my parents to death. I was their only daughter so they meant the whole world to me. My parents didn't particularly like him too. My big brother, Daeho hated him the most.

I sighed and propped my chin on the palm of my hand. Maybe I should break up with Eunho or something.

I shook my head. No. I can't end things without a reason.

"Wait," I muttered out loud. "do people even give reasons when they break up anyways?"

I sighed again and continued drinking my shake, my thoughts going back to Eunho once more. A sudden thought came to my mind.

~Dohee~

"I cannot believe I'm doing this," I muttered.

"Aw, why can't you do this when I'm around?!" my best friend, Mina said.

I scowled, "Why do you have to go and get married at a time like this?"

Mina chuckled. "I'm sorry."

I sighed, "Anyways, he's on the move."

"Catch him red handed and slap him," Mina advised. "When I get back, I'll do the rest."

I laughed softly at that, "Thanks. Anyways, have fun! Tell your husband I said hello!"

I hung up and peeked out from the window, seeing Eunho standing there with some woman. My heart twisted with fury and hurt as I watched him laugh with her. He's never laughed like that with me. Well, maybe once... a long time ago but definitely not now.

When I saw him grab hold of her hand and they walk off, that's when I rushed out of the shop. There were so many people walking that I almost lost sight of them. Being short is never a good thing, especially in crowded places like these.

I saw a really tall person walking in front of me, hands in his pockets. He was blocking my view of Eunho and that homewrecker. I tried jumping to see Eunho but that didn't work too. I saw Eunho rounded the corner and then I mentally prepared myself to face the man I've been with for the past two years.

I put the hood over my head and cracked my knuckles, mentally preparing myself as I rounded the corner. I reached for my phone, ready to take photos and videos as evidence.

"That jerk," I muttered, "I swear to God, I will kill him—ah!"

I was suddenly shoved against the wall, my arm twisted before being pinned behind my back and my face pressed against the hard wall. That was going to leave a bruise for sure.

"Who is it?!" I yelled, unable to look over my shoulders as the body of my attacker pressed me against the wall even more. Crap, was it Eunho?

I was immediately released and I used this chance to fight back. I twisted around and threw a punch at my attacker, only to have him dodge it. My wrist was suddenly grabbed and I was twisted around and that's when I saw the face of my attacker when he pulled down his mask, revealing himself.

My eyes widened in shock. Jeon Jungkook. Not just any Jungkook but Jungkook from BTS. Global superstar.

"So you know who I am," Jungkook said, eyes narrowing on me.

"Who wouldn't?" I shot back. "Your face is literally plastered everywhere I go." I jerked my chin towards the large billboards that's been playing for a week prior to his birthday now.

"Why are you following me?"

"Say what?"

"Why are you following me?"

"I wasn't," I snapped.

"What were you doing then?" he jerked his chin towards the phone in my hand.

I opened my mouth but then stopped myself. I didn't need to explain myself to him. I got on my toes as I tried to see where Eunho had gone. I cursed when I found that I'd lost sight of him because of Jungkook.

I glared at him, "Thanks a lot!" I hit him with my shoulder as I stormed off towards where Eunho and the girl had gone.

I felt Jungkook grabbed hold of my hood, pulling me back towards him. "Ah!"

"Don't walk away without giving me an answer," Jungkook scowled.

"Do I owe you an explanation?" I snapped. "You're the one who attacked me out of nowhere!"

"Not letting go until you tell me," he said. "You've been following me for a few minutes now."

Is this guy for real? I mean, I get it. He's a celebrity and any of his fans will die to meet him and some may even follow him but honestly, honestly, does he think I'm that kind of person?

Instead of answering him, I just glared at him until I realise that he wasn't going to let me go. Blowing out an irritated sigh, I snapped, "I'm looking for evidence."

"Evidence?" Jungkook's tone grew colder.

"My boyfriend is cheating on me," I said flatly. "You were walking in front of me and I couldn't see him. I wasn't following you, I swear."

That's when it hit me. He's not going to sue me, thinking I'm following him, right? Recently, one of his members filed a report about being stalked by a bunch of girls. Obviously, the girls lost the fight because well, stalking was wrong. Making a scene was wrong. I don't remember who it was but they were definitely in the same group as Jungkook.

My eyes widened and I clasped my hands together, pleadingly. "Don't sue me. I swear I wasn't stalking you or anything. I mean, you're hot and all but really, you're not my type." I paused. "Wait—no offence. I just meant that I don't do celebrities or guys who look like you."

Jungkook eyed me warily.

"Um," I blinked when I realise that I was, in fact, offending the guy. "Sorry, that came out wrong." I hesitated and then sighed, mumbling lamely, "Please don't sue me. I just spent five hundred dollars on new bracelets and I've got to pay my rent this week too."

Jungkook just stared at me like I was some weirdo. I wanted to smack myself for blurting these things out to a stranger too.

That's when I saw a glimpse of Eunho and I sighed in relief. I haven't lost the guy just yet. Maybe getting mad at Jungkook wasn't smart after all.

"I really need to go," I said to him.

Jungkook's eyes dropped to my cheek, "I'm sorry about your cheek."

"Huh?" I touched my cheek and winced a little. "Ah, don't worry about that. It was a misunderstanding. Anyways, I need to go. Bye!"

Without waiting for him, I turned and rushed out of there.

~Jungkook~

Jungkook wanted to punch himself for hurting a girl like that. He'd let his anger get the best of him, not even checking to see if it was a man or a woman that was following him. If anyone should be sued, it should be him, not her.

As he watched the girl wonder off, he saw that she really was trying to catch her boyfriend in the act. Shaking his head, Jungkook turned to leave but then something was preventing him from leaving.

Jungkook debated leaving but then he couldn't no matter how many times he tried to walk away. Eventually, Jungkook decided to follow her.
