Leeches...

Bloodsucking, life stealing scourges.

Parasites, living off of a host species. There are as many different types of parasites as there are host.

Some take up residence inside, while others attach themselves outside.

Some camouflage themselves or their offspring. That way the unsuspecting host will take them in as if they were actually meant to be there.

Robbing the host, sometimes to death.

Life as usual for a parasite...

Then it's on to find another sucker, I mean victim.

No concern for those that they prey on. Mostly because they are only concerned with their own survival.

Should life actually expired for the host any other will do just fine.

Humans weren't meant to be parasites. But leave it to man to take on traits and behaviors that were not intended for humans.

Being the cunning creatures that we are, we have adapted to the role of parasite as effectively as any blood sucking leech.

So be ware of the single minded, two legged, blood sucking leeches that may attempt to attach itself to you.

They will suck you dry and leave you for dead...

If you let them.
