Chap 1

After nearly a year fighting with their old company, MARS, the group was finally free—and they got to keep their name, too. All five of them had just signed with a new company. It was small, sure, but at least they could finally do what they loved without being boxed in.

Now it was time to get ready for a big comeback. They needed a strong single to get back into the game. Thame and Dylan were the ones in charge of writing the new song. While Thame was still stuck without any ideas, Dylan handed him a sheet of handwritten music.

"A sad song?" Thame asked, curious.

"Yeah. I think it's time we try something different from what we used to do."

"Not a bad idea. We've never had a song with this kind of vibe. Let me try writing the lyrics—"

"No need," Dylan said, taking the sheet back. "I already have something in mind."

"Alright, man. If you need help, just say it."

That night, Dylan sat alone in his room, holding the music sheet that now had lyrics on it. His mind wandered back to almost a year ago.

It was the night Jun had helped Thame and Po get together. When he came back to the house, he looked totally out of it. As he walked in, he saw Dylan waiting in the living room. Without saying anything, Jun walked over and leaned his head on Dylan's shoulder, sighing. Dylan didn't speak. He just let the silence fill the space between them. He knew Jun liked P'Po. He also knew Jun didn't need comforting words right then—just someone to be there, quietly.

It was rare for the two of them to be this calm around each other. Usually, they'd start arguing the second they met. Everyone could tell Jun had feelings for P'Po, but no one seemed to notice that Dylan... liked Jun.

Yeah. He liked him. Funny, isn't it? People always said they hated each other, but the truth was, only Jun disliked him. Dylan felt something totally different.

He almost reached out to touch Jun that night—but pulled his hand back. He didn't dare. They just stood like that for a long while, until Jun finally broke the silence.

"Thanks, Dylan."

"Huh?"

That was all Jun said before heading to his room. Dylan watched him go, his hands clenched tight. That night, Dylan poured everything he couldn't say into this song. Every note held a piece of what he kept buried inside.

He sighed, looking down at the lyrics, and smiled a little. A sad smile. At the top of the page, the title read: Trust Me.

"Damn, P'Dylan! You're amazing. A rapper writing love songs? This is next level!" Nano said after hearing the demo. He was practically bouncing with excitement. "This song's gonna blow up for sure."

The others were surprised too—not just because the song was great, but because Dylan was the one who wrote it.

"Lyrics like that... you sure you're not secretly into someone?" Pepper teased, patting him on the shoulder.

"Don't talk nonsense," Dylan replied, a little too quickly. The tips of his ears turned red, which didn't help his case.

While everyone was laughing and teasing Dylan, Jun stood a little off to the side, just watching. He didn't say anything, but there was a slight frown on his face—like something was bugging him.

"You good, Jun?" Thame asked.

"I'm fine. The song's really good."

"Cool. Better get ready then. Things are about to get crazy."

Jun nodded and smiled back at Thame, but his eyes didn't leave Dylan.

Was Dylan... in love with someone?
