Hi I am Julie, an 18 year old from Waterville, Maine. Yesterday I graduated high school, and little did I know that that day would change my life forever.

FLASHBACK

Today I am graduating high school! You see I am not one with school which is why I barley passed my senior year. I got Bs in every singe one of my classes which is better than my Junior year. Somehow I just managed to pass each grade. But today I graduate with the rest of my class. My math teacher was telling me how proud of me she was for passing all of my classes when I saw my boyfriend Jack. See your grades do not determine your popularity at school. I play basketball and I also swim, so I am very popular throughout the school. My boyfriend, Jack, was a the star quarterback at our high school, and let me tell you all the girls at our school drooled over him. There was only one problem... He was a bitch. He helped make my high school year fun though, taking me to all of the parties and football games. But he wasn't always the loyalest guy in the world. While dating me (he even told me this) he "banged 2 other girls." How do you think that that makes me feel? Let me tell you it doesn't exactly boost my confidence. Yet Jack and I stayed together just because we were the "it" couple at our high school. BUT THANK GOD he wasn't going to my college. Now Jack can bang anyone he wants. JACK AND JULIE ARE DONE BITCHES!! So I ran over to see Jack, he said "Hey Jules were graduating!! How great is that? Maybe later we can go to the bar and celebrate!!"

"Jack you drunk asshole, after today we are done. You have been a bitch to me ever since we got together. Everytime I come over your house all you want is sex. And I am pretty sure you can get any other girl to take advantage of."

"JULIE I LOVE YOU THOUGH, NOT ANY OF THE EASIER GIRLS TO GET! Your the only person that I want to be with because I love you.  I know that long distance relationships are hard but we can work through it, because you love meeee." He did not just say that. First again he talks about the people he had sex with while he was dating me (the easier ones), but of course he tells me how much he loves me just to get me in bed. And then he tells me that I love him so much which of course I don't because he is a huge dick.

So I yelled back at him "NO I AM NOT ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR 'GIRLS'... I HATE YOU AND ALWAYS HAVE, YOU WERE MY FIRST BOYFRIEND AND I THOUGHT THAT WE COULD WORK, BUT WHAT DID YOU DO, YOU CHEATED ON ME. WE ARE OVER AND I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!" And that was how Jack and My two and a half year relationship ended. In 1 minute. But I was not sad because we should have broken up a long time ago. Right after I screamed at Jack in front of the whole school I ran away to the bathroom to cool off. My best friend Jess came over to comfort me. 

"Hey Jules... its ok lets just graduate now. Don't let him ruin everything for you. The ceremony starts in 5 minutes." I thanked her and quickly walked out the bathroom door, confident and ready. The ceremony had already started.

"Jessica Harper" That was as I told you my best friend. She was a good student, straight A's. Our high school did not go by your last name but where you were with your GPA. That meant that I was later in the ceremony. Finnaly after waiting for more then 25 minutes, just watching everyone getting called and getting their deploma, it was my turn!

"Julie Ludwick"

There it was. My name. I could not believe that I was graduating high school and heading off to college. Thats right a college actually accepted me! Although it is a state college in Maine I am still proud that I even made it into college... I went up to the stage, shook the principles hand, and took my diploma. I was standing proud,all of my teachers looking at me proudly for actually graduating, and all of my peers still looking at me like I was crazy for breaking up with Jack. Trying to ignore those around me I smiled and laughed. This may have been the best day of my life. My parents took like 100 pictures of me standing there with my diploma. While smiling for the cameras from my whole family I saw someone. Someone that I never thought that I would see. Someone that I had always dreamed of meeting. Someone that I had thought about every day of my high school career. Guess who....

Niall James Horan.

We had a girl who went to our school named Helen Horan. She was Niall Horans cousin but I never thought that the NIALL HORAN would show up at MY graduation. I MEAN MY GRADUATION!! I waved to him but of course everyone including my parents thought that I was waving at them, so they waved back. There were security guards surrounding the graduation, of course protecting crazy fan girls from getting to Niall. I was a fan girl of course... but I remained calm. I didn't want him not to talk to me because he thought that I was mental. It felt like I was up on stage for over an hour taking all of these pictures. Finally they called the next person up and I quickly ran off the stage to hug my family. Little did I know at that moment that Helen would make my day and maybe even change the rest of my life.
