The only thing that matters, in the end, is the victory. People seem to forget the process but I decline it. The process is everything.

It's been three days since he kissed me and for the first time, I didn't decline it, I kissed him back. How on earth did I get the courage to do this with the only person whom I have known for years.

There is something wrong with me, I am feeling completely lost or more vulnerable than before as a part of me has been plucked by him.

We didn't talk after our little heated session just smiled.

However, my heart is twirling in thousands of emotions that he is not able to answer.

He is in MIA for straight three days!
I have not seen him at the university, not even received any call or message from him!

My heart is sinking every time at the mere thought of what has transpired to him?

Is he alright? Or he can't face me anymore? Is he afraid of me or is he unsure of what he has perpetrated?

I want all the answers from him but nowhere to go where do I find this guy!

Maybe I need to ask Samuel Hudson he could tell me where is he! As I recall, last time he was the only one who knew where he could be.
The astonishing thing that exists, Sarah has maintained a distance from me. However, she is giving me glares but most of the time I have noticed they were more of glances of amusement.

Which is strange!

Did she do something with Neel?

If she has done something wrong with him I will not tolerate her even might kill her!

But first I need to find Sam to ask where the hell Neel is!

He was in the library, might wonder he was in the library for the first time in a century.

"Julia, what's wrong with you? Are you fine? Why you are looking as you are going to pass out?"

Do I look like I am going to pass out? Yeah, maybe I am not sleeping for the last three days! How can I? with all these tingling feelings in my heart!

"Sam? Do you know-" he just cut me in the middle and grabbed my hand to take us out of the library.

"Yes, you were saying something?"

I looked at him, "Do you have any idea where he could be?" 

"Who?"

"Neel, of course!"

He looked at me, and stared into my eyes for a long moment, "oh so he is missing!"

So, is he just going to say these three, or four words?
Doesn't he have to say anything else?

"Can you please help me to find him?"

I was desperate! Desperate because if I didn't find him I would not be able to sleep at night, would not be proficient to eat anything and then god knows what will happen!

"Why so desperate about him?"
I can hear his taunt, which he was throwing at him, he was glaring at me now, his eyes had anger in them.

"I am not desperate about him! What is wrong with you! That guy whom you call your friend has been missing for the last three days and you are asking me why I am behaving like this?"

"Shhh."

Then out of nowhere, he pulled me and embraced me in his arms. He hugged me close.

While I was struggling to get away from him!

"First you need to calm down! Then I will help you," when he reassured me while rubbing my back. I felt better than before.

"So tell me when was the last time you saw him?"

"He was with me the day when Sarah created a scene here," I looked away in another direction where other students were chattering about their lifestyle, looking so calm and cheerful that no one can fade it away from them.

"Oh, that whole day he was with you?"

Is there a need to ask this question? What does he want to know anyway?

"Yes, of course!" I looked away, again a memory of him kissing me flooded into my brain, I was burning like blood.

"And in past days you were with him after our lectures right?"

Yes! I was with him almost every day! Why this is so hard to say?

"Anything strange arose in these days? in his behaviour or with you love birds?"  Now, he was trying to smirk but his eyes were telling me something else.  As he was hiding something.

"No, I don't think so-"

"Are you sure?"

We were alright! Hey, wait for a second! Those guys and that fight! Oh my God, how can I forget about this!

"There was a fight!"

"With whom?"

"The guys from Dark Alley,"
Please don't say, his absence and the fight are related to each other!

"That's it!"

"Those guys must have taken him for revenge!"

I gulped, and my heart started pondering fast in my chest. "What Revenge?"

"We will   find out that!"

And with that, he stood up, "Just be prepared after the lectures, I will ask Tony to accompany us everything will be alright,"

I stood up at the mere thought of what condition he might be in? Did those guys beat him up? Is he alright?

"And listen-"

"Yes?"

"I think you have feelings for him, so better save them and-"

"Who told you I have feelings for him? And- what?"

He calculated for a second glimpse at me furthermore, "all right then! Just be careful!"

With that, he vanished into the crowd.

I was waiting, waiting till the dawn but there was no sign of him! Did he disregard his promise?

I was continuously wandering the streets of California in the chilly weather when my heart was churning up and down in my chest.

What the hell is wrong with me?

Do I extremely have feelings for him? I don't believe so maybe he always helped me that's why I wanted him to be safe! That's it!

I heard a honk on the other side.

"Come we are getting late,"

I saw Tony with his big Black Mercedes Car, he was honking, Sam was on the other seat and to my utter surprise, Alisha was there too.

I ran as fast as I can in their direction and jumped inside the car.

As it gained speed, my heart started running on another journey too. We were fighting with the wind, in the hope that we will banish it with our power maybe we were too little to thought we can not win against nature.

"Are you okay, Julia?" Alisha asked me with concern maybe it was written all over my face that I was not well.

"Better than before," yes, I was better than before at least I have hope to find him and I am not alone this time. My friends are with me!

After almost half an hour we reached the destination where we ever wanted to be The Dark Alley! Where everyone fights with each other for money and does race! This place is dangerous yet captivating and can do wonders with your mind if you have a weak heart. The last time, I check I was paranoid here! He-he saved me from getting raped! Oh my God! I think about that night and feel all lost again. With the unwanted touches on my body, I feel unfortunate but then again I also remember how I have cracked their balls Last week. So maybe I was lost in past and a little afraid too! But not now, not this time! 

I am not frightened of anything not anymore.

We went inside, it was all opaque, I heard hooting and there were screams, voices.  everyone had their vehicle to race. All filled with different races of humans all together in one place as a Carnival.

Sam roamed his eyes everywhere then it landed on one person. a fat bald man who had big tattoos on his arms.

"Francis! Where is Neel?"  he shouts at the top of his lungs.

'He is with us!" He was smirking, as he was warning us he will do something horrible to him.

Oh, My Neel!

What My?

"And what you are doing with him?"

He dared to ask.

There come four or five guys like him with huge bodies and tattoos on their arms. All were bald!
What's with them and they're being bald?

"You know Samuel your friend Neel Malhotra dared to fight with our boys so he must pay the consequences!"

What consequence? What are they talking about? I did a fight with them too. I need to step forward!

"What consequences?"

Before he declares something and it became all about their egos I need to step forward.

Concentrate!

Pay attention!

And behave smart!

You can do everything!

"Here you! The Bald Man! sorry to break in but I and Neel both did fight back!"

You need to look at his face, all colours have been drained from them. And he might want to punch me out or do anything but who the hell cares? Enough is enough!

Now they all started whispering in disconnected voices which we cannot hear but I could sense by their facial expression that they were not ready to accept the fact that their boys get defeated by a woman!

"Look, Indian girl! Here is a deal- you won't say anything about a fight and we will hand over your lover to you on one condition!"

"And what would be the condition?" I looked into his eyes.

"Defeat our Rockstar in the Race!"

Sam looked as if he was just about to pass out when I saw all colours start draining away.

Tony, muttered in all silence, "Tody will be going to be the last day of us!"

When we saw the man in a white jacket coming in our direction. I might say we all will be killed today!
