The sky is everything if you look at it

All the devastating eyes were on me, as I am the universe of their world. Oh I know I was not the universe I was m just a body who doesn't belong to their group to the elite society.

I was not able to find anyone from our University.

And now even worse the witch has landed her eyes on me, but let me tell you one thing she might be the powerful witch but I am the queen, and no one can do wrong to her!

"What are you doing here poor girl? Can't you see you don't belong here? Your existence is disturbing to all of us!"

And the venom started spitting, don't know she might even have fangs like a snake to cut you out!

"You are not invited right?"

I can see the devilish smile that was radiating on her face.

What a selfish woman she is! 

I was about to say that I don't care about her or her good for nothing lavish society or her exaggerated party.

Perhaps, her alluring aunts were more interested in me; they were eying me as I was the alien of their world and invaded their life with my presence.

I was about to snap at all of them, but I was ashamed,

"Look at her what is she wearing?"

"Is she your servant, Sarah?"

"Oh someone gives her money so that she can buy something decent for her"

"I think she came here to ruin everything"

"Have you checked her invitation?"

I was just about to tell them to shut the fuck up but no voice came! My throat went dry and I couldn't do anything!

"Her invitation is here!"

And all the eyes went to the one and the only guy who bring me here who left me alone then come here just to rescue me again?

"Neel? Do you mean to say that???"

She was angry, astonished, her eyes went wide there was horror in them

"She is my date, Sarah!"

Now everyone was looking at me, all the eyes were glued just on me.

Do you know? This is the first time someone has taken a stand for me! It's not that I wanted it or I am not capable to do it for myself but why is he melting my heart? Why is he taking my side when everyone is against me? Why does he always, always have to do something like this?
I don't want him to do all these when since childhood I have fought all the battles by myself then why now? Why God has sent him to take a stand for me to hold my hand ahead of everyone and to be proud of me? I don't want all this because I know my heart is melting and I  might fall from the ground to another world where no one is going to watch me!

Why can't he just leave me alone in all my misery, is it that hard?

He cupped my face, "you are not alone, I am here with you!"

My heart wanted to bleed for these words and I wanted to hug him tight right away here to hold on to him and never let him go

"Are you out of your mind Neel? What is wrong with you? Can't you see she is not your standard?"

"Now you are going to tell me what is my standard Sarah? I don't think so I need advice from you in life!"

His eyes were facing the unseen storm which I have never seen in my life.

She was eyeing me from head to toe as she is going to murder me right here with a snap of a knife in my stomach!

"How dare you? You are embarrassing me for her? On I contrary to look at her, she is nothing, nothing in this world! Her existence doesn't affect anyone so it is better to show her place!"

"Shut the fuck up Sarah! And who asserted that her existence doesn't matter to anyone? She matters to me and numerous people so mind your own business! Moreover, we are not interested in your party anyway, where you insult people as they are robots! Do you know what do I think? You need to look at yourself then you will realize how ugly you are!"

He clenches my hand, intertwined our fingers then we stormed out of the witch's place!

"I am sorry, "

After the silence of almost an hour when we didn't understand what was needed to say he whispered into my ears slowly and truthfully.

Though it was not his mistake still he was sorry,

Is this guy the same person whom I have encountered in past?

Life can be strange, unpredictable and shady in all circumstances, but the heart remains the same in all situations.

It's get wondered on all pretty things shut out trying to find out the consequences.

We were sitting at a bench looking at nothing but the trees, long dark trees.

This silence was a comforting one. Because for the very first time I didn't care what she said and how all those eyes gawked at me. I was glad that he was there for me when no one dared to be on my side.

"Are you going to say something?" His breath was heavy, I know he was hesitating to show his wisdom or to show his affection at me.

"Look at the moon, "

I don't understand why I whispered that? What's about the moon on this stormy night? When the dark clouds are ready to elope it in anytime.

Still, I wasn't able to take my eyes away from it and he was glancing at it too.

The beauty of the moon has bewitched so many souls maybe we are one of them.

It is so profound, fascinating that it has the power to hold everything, I can sense the depths of the moon. 

"Don't you think it's beautiful?"

"Indeed, it's the most beautiful I have seen in my entire life!"

"What?" When I looked in his direction; he was already glancing at me.

So was he talking about me? Did he just call me beautiful?

"Nevermind, I think we should be going before it starts to rain!"

Maybe he was talking about the moon and yes we should get going it's getting gloomy already!

Just when we stood up, a cold droplet of water touched my shoulder.

Oh no, it's started raining, we should run fast.

He extended his hand to me, to hold it and I gawked back at him with confusion on my face, asking why now?

"Just hold my hand and run already!"

And we started running, running fast to anywhere where we could hide from the world into the unseen places.

This rain was saying something in my ear, it was touching not just my body but to my soul too. And the thunderstorm made all the things so hard to handle, maybe the sky is going to fall on us anytime soon, everything is so magical and tempting just showing the power of humanity in the rays of hope.

We reached near the shop, the tempting and hot tea was in the process of making.

We were shuddering from head to toe from cold, but when he glimpsed at me I didn't perceive cold; there was something in his persona and the way he was glancing at me made me melt right there to forget my existence.

"Do you want to drink tea?" He asked holding a stare at me.

"Oh, I would love to!" These were my words, I don't understand when I started being so lovely?

"Two cups for us, please!"

Things are on the radar, changing continuously in all directions until we find a place to stay still!

"You know you should stop staring at me, I am not going to murder you!"

"No, no interested in murdering you anyways, "

I am not interested in murdering you, Neel Malhotra not even for millions and you should take pride in it!
