[3rd Person POV]

--A Few Weeks Ago--

"...Gojo Satoru. I was wondering if we could kill him if we joined forces."

The voice of Jogo, the one-eyed cursed spirit with a volcano atop his head said with a wicked grin across his face. The current moment in time was taking place a few weeks back where the curse along with his cursed peers could be seen seated at a table in a restaurant cafe. Well, they weren't exactly 'seen', as everyone else in the room carried little to no valuable means in order to see them.

In fact, the only person who could see the curses before him, was Suguru Geto, the old friend of the aforementioned Gojo Satoru. To the eyes of everyone else in the room, Geto was seated at a table in the restaurant by himself, but in reality, he was there to speak with Jogo and his cursed allies due to those very curses wanting to form an alliance of sorts. Unfortunately for Jogo, Geto's words were not exactly supportive.

Geto: [Smiles] "If I am being honest, if you were to go up against Gojo, he would either flutter out your grasp, or worst case, you'd all get exorcised."

Though whereas Geto said such words with a simple smile on his face, Jogo simply stared blankly at the former Jujustu sorcerer of Jujutsu High, even with one eye, the boredom and unsatisfaction from Geto's answer leaving quite the effect."

Geto: "I'd recommend that you put all your energy into sealing him instead of killing him."

Jogo: "Huh? Seal him? Do you have a lead on how to do that?"

Geto: "We'll use the special grade curse object, Prison Realm.

Jogo: "Prison realm?!"

Instantly Jogo's eye burst open in shock, pure disbelief at hearing that name. Clearly this 'Prison Realm' carried quite the history with it...

Jogo: [Blankly stares] "...What's that?"

Geto: [Sighs and shakes head] "...It's a special grade cursed object with the ability to seal away even the strongest of sorcerers. So if you truly want to defeat Gojo Satoru, you'll first need to seal him with that very cursed object."

Jogo: "Okay, but how are we going to seal him in the first place if simply going up against him will be pointless?"

A good question indeed. But instead of simply answering right away, the lips of Geto couldn't help but curve upward into a grin. This caused Jogo and the two cursed spirits by his side to glance at each other in confusion. This did not hinder Geto from responding nonetheless.

Geto: "To defeat Gojo Satoru, you'll first have to take him off his game."

Jogo: "Off his game? So what? Want us to steal his lunch money or something?"

Geto: [Chuckles] "No. No. To throw Gojo off his game, you will need to condemn his mind to a wave of thoughts that he cannot comprehend. Put him in a situation where for once, his power is useless. You need to have a knife at his throat constantly..."

Jogo: "And we'll be able to do that how...?"

Geto: "Simple really. Take the one thing Gojo Satoru has a special connection with. The only family he cares about." [Grins] "...Take away his precious 'Babu'."

Jogo: "...Babu?"

"...HAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

Within the span of seconds, the air was suddenly floored with violent laughter, all of which coming from within the charred mouth of Jogo, who seemingly couldn't hold back his amusement upon hearing the name Geto had said. Even when he was able to speak, he still struggled to finish a sentence without laughing.

Jogo: "Hahaha! Babu?! Haha! What kind of ridiculous name is that?!"

Geto: [Smiles, Nudges shoulders] "Beats me. All I know is he got it from an old friend."

The prospect of an old friend deciding on a name like that definitely confused the cursed spirits. But before anything could be brought up on it, Geto continued to speak.

Geto: "Even so, name aside, Babu, whose real name is (Y/n) (L/n), is the key to sealing away Gojo Satoru."

Jogo: "Wait. (Y/n) (L/n)? Isn't that the name of the kid you sealed away in some cursed realm? So you've already done this to try and stop Gojo?"

Geto: "Huh? I do--"

Jogo: "--Cause In swear, if you're just going to make us go through the same shit you already tried with Gojo, I'll kill you right now by burning up this entire building!"

For a moment it seemed the growing intensity of Jogo's voice was enough to bring fear into Geto's body, to the point he went silent and pale on the face, at least. However, it soon came to be that the cause of Geto's sudden lack of confidence from Jogo was not from his voice, but from something he said. However, before this look could be any more noticeable, Geto was quick to return his smile once more as he stared back at Jogo.

Geto: [Smiles softly] "...My apologies. You are right, 'I' was the one to seal (Y/n) away before. I guess you could say I simply...forgot about that."

Jogo: [Thoughts] "Forgot? How could you forget about something like that?"

Geto: "The point is, whereas Gojo was not defeated in the past, the disappearance of (Y/n) for the time he was gone, sent Gojo into a reckless state to the point he almost started wars amongst the different clans."

Jogo: "Wait! Gojo almost started wars over this kid?"

Geto: "Indeed. So all you have to do is take this 'Babu' away from Gojo yet again, and this time around, we'll be there waiting for him. So, how does that sound..."

"...Wanna go catch a sorcerer?"

--Present Day | Empty Park In The City | 9:35 P.M.--

BOOM!

CRACK!

BANG!

The sudden ruptures in the air were so loud and violent that people even hundreds of meters away could hear. The rhythmic echoes of distorted destruction both a warning of approach and a cause for concern. Though anything someone thought revolving around what could have made such chaotic pieces of destruction would have been left nowhere near the actual result, as in this current time, within an open patch of a grassy field in a deserted playground, yet another explosion went off as the agile body of Jogo slammed into the ground. The edges of his feet doing enough to cause the ground to explode from within, all in hopes of attacking his opponent who was standing in this exact position seconds ago.

But as Jogo was beginning to understand, his opponent was no weak person. In the two weeks that had passed since the makeshift alliance of Jogo's Cursed Spirit Group and the former Jujutsu Sorcerer known as Suguru Geto had taken place, the former group had made it a prime goal to take down (Y/n) (L/n) in hopes of tweaking Gojo. However, what was meant to be a simple kidnapping a weak individual, soon was shown to be much more of a difficult task than they first thought. All it took was to witness this young man take on a Special Grade Cursed Spirit, heightened by one of Sukuna's very own fingers even, to see that (Y/n) (L/n) was no weak individual.

The mere prospect of his abilities and the means in which he could dismantle such powerful opponents, even holding his own against Sukuna's weakened state was something to be impressed by. But this sudden surge of power silently caused Jogo to worry. Even despite the best attempts from Geto to calm down, Jogo realized that simply kidnapping (Y/n) would not work. But in order to throw Gojo off his game still, Jogo would instead go in for the kill and hope that it itself would be enough to send Gojo into a wave of uncertainty and disarray. However, what Jogo was not expecting, however, that the one they called 'Babu' would be a much harder individual to take on than first thought.

Even Jogo himself had to admit that (Y/n) (L/n), despite being human, could stand proud. The mere fact that he managed to dodge such an attack was enough proof for that. But if you were to add on the rest of the carnage Jogo caused, only for his enemy to dodge those as well, definitely asserted the power levels of the young teenager who currently occupied the curse's mind. Yet, despite this being harder than first thought, Jogo couldn't help but offer his deranged smile as he lifted his head. The horrifying look only doubled when you were to simply look past it, to see the charred and burnt ground and trees behind him. A wave of green life now left to a lifeless black void.

One that Jogo took pride in causing, but for (Y/n) (L/n), he simply offered his own smile in return, shocking Jogo, and causing his to waver slightly as (Y/n) wiped some sweat off his forehead.

(Y/n): "Whew! I'll give ya something, bucko, you sure do work up a sweat when fighting."

The grin on (Y/n)'s face was the first thing Jogo took in, causing his shocked face to expand suddenly. It only continued to grow as (Y/n) finally removed the hand from his forehead to allow his entire confident expression to be seen by the curse.

Jogo: "What?! You dodged that one as well?!"

(Y/n): "Haha! You bet!"

Jogo: "Argh!" [Thoughts] "How is this possible?! Geto said this kid was weak! So how is he doing all of my damn att--"

"Who are you, anyway?"

Jogo: "Huh?"

As he said that single word, Jogo lifted his head. Now, he expected (Y/n) to be the cause of the words, which he was. But what Jogo didn't expect, leading him to offer yet another shocked expression, was that upon lifting his head, he saw (Y/n) was offering him the most innocent of smiles. One that was made even more annoying now that the young boy was standing a mere three meters away from Jogo's current position.

Jogo: [Thoughts] "How did he get so close?! I didn't even sense him moving!"

(Y/n): "--I mean, you don't have to say it. I just think it'd be best to know the name of the person who I'm fighting. You know, for trash-talking purposes."

Jogo: [Thoughts] "Trash talk--Argh! This brat!"

(Y/n): [Smiles brightly] "So! What's your name, Volcano Hea--"

KA-BOOM!

It was in the moment that (Y/n) was about to finish his sentence that an explosion suddenly went off right beneath his feet. All caused from a volcano spawning out of the ground from below and sending an explosion of hot magma. There was so much of the hot orange liquid that (Y/n)'s entire body was swallowed completely. The final image was (Y/n)'s wide smile and closed eyes as he waited to hear Jogo's name. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like (Y/n) would ever get it. This led to Jogo returning his deranged grin whilst the onlooking students and friends of (Y/n) watched on and commented in horror.

Nobara: "(Y/N)!"

Megumi: "No!"

Inumaki: [Shock] "CAVIER!"

All carried their own emotions and responses in the moment. Those who couldn't find the strength to speak were Junpei and Maki, the former left completely shocked. He had already been thrown off by the fact that (Y/n) somehow had powers. But now to actually witness his death by a monster was something even more shocking, to the point he was struggling to hold back tears. Someone who wasn't doing so well in that regard, however, was Maki, who stood completely still as her eyes stretched to their limits. She didn't even blink, allowing a clear path for a stream of tears to slowly begin to fall from her eyes and down her cheeks.

The only movement Maki's body could make was in the form of her right hand coming up to clutch her mouth. Though in reality, it would do nothing, she just hoped that it would stop any mentioning of her boyfriend's name. The girl worried that if she said it, she'd lose it forever. So it was clear amongst the group that distraught was the main emotion present. Well, for everyone but Panda, who stood to the side like a cool panda with his arms on his waist and a grin on his lips. Something that was unable to be mentioned sooner before Megumi stole the moment from him.

Megumi: "That idiot!"

Nobara: "Huh?"

Immediately everyone in the group turned in the direction of Megumi to see the aforementioned male carrying a clear look of agitation on his face. One that he was afraid of showing as more words stormed from his mouth.

Megumi: "That idiot! He just had to go rush in by himself again! ARGH! He's just like Gojo, and not the good kind!"

Nobara: "Megumi!"

Megumi: "What, Nobara?!"

Nobara: "Now isn't the time, okay!" [Trying not to cry] "Not in front of Maki!"

It seemed that Megumi wanted to say more, in the same moment, his head turned to Maki only to see the girl with green hair glaring at him through her glasses. The tears underneath were ever-present, leading Megumi to immediately restraint himself. However, before anything more could be said, the pain of losing someone close to them only grew worse as the deranged laughter of Jogo suddenly entered the air.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

Upon turning in the direction of the dreadful curse, the group of sorcerers and Junpei were greeted by the growth of the maniacal laugh as Jogo looked to the moon above as ash from the volcano explosion filled the air. The smell of death on the air was enough to bring his laughter to an end. But for his smile, his smile remained as he narrowed his gaze toward the sorcerers.

Jogo: "Hehe~ What? Did you actually expect he'd defeat me?" [Grins] "Ha! You'd be foolish to think such a worthless piece of meat who isn't even worthy to call himself a human could actually defeat me." [Thoughts] "I know Geto told me to simply kidnap him. But that annoying brat couldn't be helped. Oh, well, I'm sure Gojo will still be set off guard by the death of his 'Babu'. Haha! That name still cracks me up!"

That was all it took for the sadness in the group to switch to sudden anger. The sight of Nobara, Inumaki, and Maki stepping forward, prepared for a fight, whilst an uncertain Megumi and a still shocked Junpei hung back. But the sight of the sorcerers approaching him only pushes Jogo's enjoyment of the moment.

Jogo: "Oh...and here comes the reinforcements." [Chuckles] "I'm sorry, but I've already killed the strongest amongst you, so what do you think you can--"

"I wouldn't be so sure of that!"

Abruptly Jogo's smile was dropped upon hearing the new voice. Instantly, everyone turned to look at Panda, the grinning cursed corpse who still stood with his hands magnificently placed onto his hips. A stance he took further pride in as he continued to speak.

Panda: "You think you have actually defeated (Y/n)? I say, 'bah!' to that load of bullshit! BAH!"

Jogo: "Oh? Is that so? And what exactly makes you to believe that?"

Panda: "Uh...Isn't it obvious? (Y/n) wouldn't die by someone like you! There's only one way he'd die..."

The notion from Panda immediately brought in the attention of everyone, leading them to wonder exactly what the 'way' of dying (Y/n) would take. Nobara thought it was probably something heroic, like saving her from a curse, just like in fairytales with the hero and the princess. Maki thought something similar, but whereas the thought brought Nobara a smile, Maki's only made her angry.

After all, she could just imagine (Y/n) sacrificing himself for the sake of her and the others...He was so stupid! He should know sacrificing himself was dumb! She didn't want him to sacrifice himself for her! She wanted him to live for her! All so she could live as well. Megumi thought it was probably something stupid, Inumaki raised an eyebrow and tilted his head. Meanwhile, Junpei couldn't help but smile thinking just how someone as cool as (Y/n) pictured his death.

Just like Maki, Junpei believed (Y/n) had the ideal death of being the last one standing in hopes of saving those around him. You know, the classic fantasy all males have when thinking about a deadly endgame event in a war or fight. Something like that! And honestly, as Junpei pictured (Y/n) choosing something like that, it only made him more excited to hear what Panda had to say to finish his sentence.

Panda: "--By the thigh!"

Junpei: "...H-Huh?"

Megumi: "The thigh?"

Jogo: "The Thigh?"

Nobara/Maki: [Blushing] "THE--WHAT?!"

Panda: "Haha! Yes! To die by the thigh! That is the way my boy pictures his death!"

Panda seemed quite happy in himself for revealing such. The genuine smile on his face as the others reacted to it was definitely noticeable. Meanwhile, the others took their own response to the matter at hand. Like Megumi! Who just shook his head in dismay...

Megumi: "...I hate this school."

Inumaki also shook his head, though he did so with a smile whilst holding back his laughter.

Inumaki: [Chuckles] "Tuna Mayo."

The rest didn't come with words, as Junpei was too embarrassed to say such a thing like Panda did, especially in front of girls. Meanwhile, whilst Maki and Nobatra both carried blushes as well due to not wanting to say such a thing, that did not stop them from glaring Panda's way as they offered their own remarks back to him.

Maki: [Glares at Panda] "Filth. That's what you are...Filth."

Nobara: [Glares at Panda] "Go die in a zoo, where you belong, animal."

A sudden wave of shock and sorrow washed over Panda's face to the point Megumi, Inumaki, and even Junpei could see the black cloud of misery that now hovered over his head due to the pain he now felt. But whilst those three held some form of pity for Panda, Maki and Nobara did not. Luckily for Panda, there was one person who was fully on his side.

(Y/n): "Hahaha! I don't know guys, I mean, he does have a point! That would be a way to go!"

Nobara: "Pfft! Shut up, (Y/n)."

Maki: "Yeah, (Y/n), shut up. Don't be a perv."

(Y/n): "...What? It's not like I would die by the thigh of a random girl or anything!"

Maki: "Still a perv."

Nobara: "Yeah. Still a perv."

(Y/n): [Smiles] "...Three... Two... One..."

"...(Y/N)?!?!?!"

(Y/n): "There we g--ARGH!"

After the few moments of silence, then followed by the sudden scream of his name, the look of shock on the faces of everyone present exploded to life. Junpei and Inumaki quickly extended their lips to show their excitement, whilst even Megumi's jaw dropped. But no reaction was like that of Maki and Nobara, who were so thrown off that they didn't even think before they launched their bodies right at (Y/n)'s own. The combined weight of the pair knocking the young boy to the ground, where he now lies, forced to hear the grateful calls of shock and thanks from the girls.

Maki: [Crying] "(Y/n)! You're alive! I thought you were dead!" [Grows angry] "ARGH!" [Punches Your Shoulder] "Don't leave me again! You idiot!"

Nobara: [Crying] "(YYYY/NNNN)!!! Don't scare me like that! I thought you had left me here with all these ugly people!" [Grows Angry] "SON OF A BITCH!" [Punches Your Other Shoulder] "How dare you make me scared like that! Do that again and I'll never talk to you again!"

By this point, both girls now leaned over (Y/n), who still lay in the grassy ground. This allowed the young boy to see the angry faces of both Maki and Nobara focused in on him. But instead of fearing for his life like he probably should have, he couldn't help but smile. That smile of his only growing stronger as he suddenly sat up between them and looked off in a random direction. The sudden movement from (Y/n) was enough to separate the girls to either side of him, watching in confusion as he got to his feet and began to look off into the distance in a stoic manner. Though it didn't take long for everyone to see he was simply doing so for dramatic effect.

(Y/n): "I'm sorry that I frightened you both, but...I had no choice." [Dramatically turns to the side] "I was forced to fake my death to throw off my enemy. I needed him to think I was dead so I could throw him off his game."

Maki: [Blinks blankly] "That was only a minute ago."

Nobara: "There's no way that's enough time to throw the curse off his game."

(Y/n): [Dramatically turns to the other side] "That's where you'd be wrong. You see, before I awesomely avoided Volcano Head's attack, I activated one of my cursed techniques. Number thirty-nine, to be exact."

Maki: "Huh? You did?"

Nobara: [Sighs] "Oh, brother! What stupid name does this one--"

(Y/n): [Dramatically turns back to the original side] "Its name is 'Stage Play!' Basically, for a full minute, I can cause everyone, and everything in a hundred-meter distance, to basically play out like a stage play! Everything from the cliche of the hero faking his death!!" [Turns to the side] "To the cry-filled screams of his friends!" [Turns to the side] "To pretty girls falling for him---Though, I didn't think it'd be so literally--"

PUNCH!

PUNCH!

Nothing but the sounds echoing through the air were left to suggest what happened following (Y/n) suddenly being cut off from his words. When focus finally returned to the main character, two noticeable bumps rested atop his head, whilst from behind, both Maki and Nobara glared at him. But (Y/n) chose to ignore that as he finished his previous sentence.

(Y/n): "Anyway! It's because of that very Cursed Technique that I stand before you all today! As awesome as ever! Now, all that has to take place for the cursed technique to finish is the villain's sudden outburst of shock at seeing the hero suddenly return from the--"

"HOW?!"

(Y/n): [Grins] "Here we go~"

Jogo: "How?! I don't understand! How are you still alive?! You're supposed to be weak!"

(Y/n): "And you're supposed to be as strong as you look ugly! So we're both left disappointed in that regard, Volcano Head!"

Out of nowhere, Jogo's one eye snapped open. A fierce glare quickly found it's home on his face as he turned to (Y/n), who just continued to grin.

Jogo: "What did you just say about my one eye?!"

(Y/n): "H-Huh? I never said anything about--"

Jogo: "--YOU THINK I LIKE ONLY HAVING ONE EYE, HUH?!"

(Y/n): "What? No?" [Looks around confusingly] "I didn't say--"

Jogo: "You think you're so clever?! Just because you avoided that one attack?! I'll show you what it's like to mess with someone with one eye!"

(Y/n): "I NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR DAMN ONE EYE!"

But Jogo seemed to fail to register that as he suddenly launched off his current position to explode right towards (Y/n). It all happened so fast that the others watching couldn't fully equip their own shocked expressions before Jogo had already reached (Y/n)'s position. As for (Y/n) himself, he was fortunate enough to have quick enough reflexes to avoid Jogo's first attack. Though, that wasn't to say one attack was all Jogo had planned. Far from it.

The first attack came in the form of Jogo sending his extended hand right for (Y/n)'s open head. A single strike would be enough to break the skull in half. The prospect of doing such brought so much joy to the agitated Jogo that he was already smiling before he even reached (Y/n). But by the time he did, he didn't hesitant for a single second to cut his hand through the air, as he aimed for the centre of (Y/n)'s skull. But just as his fingers were about to make contact with the sorcerer's skin, a single word came from (Y/n)'s mouth as he smiled.

(Y/n): "Waterfall."

Jogo: "Huh?"

It was immediately after Jogo said that one word, that his fingers suddenly came to a forceful stop. Not because they had reached (Y/n)'s head, but because they were blocked from doing so. All thanks to a mirror of water that reached from the ground to just past (Y/n)'s head. Yet, despite the barrier of water seeming so thin, and continued to flow as if it were connected to a much larger expansion of the liquid, it was more then enough to block Jogo's attack from reaching (Y/n). No matter how hard the curse tried to push his fingers into the liquid, or as contorted he made his face, nothing helped him in pushing through the waterfall.

Eventually, the energy put into breaking the unbreakable waterfall was eventually sent right back to Jogo, and when that happen, he had no defences against suddenly getting catapulted away from (Y/n)'s current position. His entire body was flung backwards through the air, his body flailing about momentarily as he struggled to comprehend the cursed technique he just went up against. But 'Waterfall' was merely a technique used for defence. One that was unbreakable, though minimal as it could only protect one side of (Y/n)'s body.

But whereas it lacked in appearance, it made up for in the fact that no matter how strong the attack that went to break it was, the exact same amount of strength would be put right back into the attack, sending them flying backwards as if they themselves had been struck with the very attack they wished to give out. Jogo now knew that, and with that knowledge, he was able to slow his movements down slow enough that he was able to backflip in the air and safely land on his feet some fifteen meters away from (Y/n)'s current position. Where he still carried his familiar grin. One that only agitated Jogo more now that he realized that (Y/n) (L/n) was no pushover.

...Despite what Geto had told Jogo earlier.

Jogo: [Grins] "So this is what you're capable of, huh? You're not just some weak sorcerer wannabe after all?"

(Y/n): "Weak sorcerer wannabe? Ha! Maybe at one point in my life. But I like to think I've grown a bit since my humble beginnings."

Jogo: "I see... I guess 'he' doesn't know everything about you sorcerers after all."

(Y/n): "He?"

A perked eyebrow came with the one word spoken as (Y/n) eyed the curse. It wasn't long before Jogo's words were echoed over to the other sorcerers, who also found it odd at the mention of an unknown person. But such a wave of expressions only made Jogo's grin even more prominent.

Jogo: [To you] "Oh, I wouldn't worry about that too much. After all, you're merely a stepping stone in our master plan."

(Y/n): "Master plan? Stepping stone? Ha! If I'm not the main course, buddy, I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to ruin your whole operation right now."

Jogo: [Tilts head] "...Huh?"

(Y/n): "To put it simply, Volcano Head...I'm a jealous bitch. So if you're only fighting me just to get to someone else, well, I'm sorry, but I'm not going to waste my time with...with..." [Pretends to hold back tears] "...With someone who doesn't even want to put their full attention onto me!"

The sight of (Y/n) wiping away a fake tear as he completed his sentence only made Jogo more confused, whilst Maki just shook her head in dismay. But (Y/n) only ignored such as he dropped his head, seemingly allowing himself to cry more fake tears. But in the process of dropping his head, a smile found his lips once more. A smile that only continued to grow until he lifted his head once more to grin in the direction of the confused one-eyed curse.

(Y/n): "Oh, well! Doesn't matter I guess! I wasn't even pulling out all the stops to dodge your attacks anyway."

Jogo: [Thoughts] "He wasn't even trying?! How strong is this guy?!"

But Jogo's uncertainty was quickly shifted back to agitation. His one eye narrowed in toward the male before him as the urge to kill this wreckless fake human grew with each passing second.

Jogo: "Alright, sorcerer... You say you're not trying your best, well, how about I give you something that'll put you out of your misery?"

(Y/n): "What misery? Having to stare at your face for the entirety of this boring monologue--?"

Jogo: "Ember insects!"

(Y/n): "Ember what now?"

His question was answered almost instantly when a warm of large mosquito-like insects launched from within the volcano atop Jogo's head. Immediately, the swarm of deadly creatures headed right for (Y/n), the sorcerer left to tilt his head in confusion at the strange attack.

(Y/n): "You know, with the name 'Ember' and your whole 'lava' thing going on, I was expecting you to do something than just throw insects my way. I'm kinda disappointed."

Jogo: "JUST DIE ALREADY!"

With the scream thundering into the air, the mosquitos suddenly exploded upon reaching (Y/n)'s position. It was as his entire body was swallowed by powerful flames that (Y/n) came to understand why they were called 'Ember Insects', and it was fair to say Jogo was not compensating for anything with how vast the explosion was from the attack. As the heat that the others could feel, even when standing twenty meters away from the scene, showcased just the temperatures Jogo was willing to go to to defeat (Y/n). The deranged smile on his face once more added to it all perfectly. But again, just like before, Jogo's smile was forced to drop when out of the corner of his eye he noticed something, something golden, and heading right for his--

(Y/n): "--COCK SHOT OF DOOM!!!"

"KA-BOOM!"

This time that word was added for just dramatic effect, as the very word itself appeared above the heads of everyone present, high in the night sky, upon (Y/n) landing his attack. It was in this exact moment that every noticed their normal bodies had changed. They were now pixelated, like out of an old video game. In fact, everything around them looked like they were pulled out of an arcade from the late '80s. It was fair to say that some took it better than others...

Maki: "What's going on with our bodies?"

Nobara: "With our bodies?" [Gasps] "Maki! Your voice! It sounds--"

Megumi: "Like you're out of an old video game."

Maki: "A video ga--Hey! You're right!"

There was indeed a noticeable way in which Maki spoke that resembled to the old dialogues in games from the olden times. It was definitely a throw off, but as the group looked around at the rest of the world around them, they realized it wasn't just them that was affected by such a thing.

Nobara: "It's not just our bodies that look like this."

Megumi: "Everything looks like this!"

Maki: "Is it from the Curse?"

Megumi: "If I had to guess it would be from--"

"(Y/N)! YOU SON OF A PANDA! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME?!?!?"

Megumi: [Sighs] "...Yeah. Him."

Immediately following Megumi's words everyone turned to Panda, who, whilst pixelated like the others, Panda's body was just made up of two large pixels. One black and the other white, with his arms extended rectangles. It was clear to see that whilst Panda didn't necessarily mind being pixelated, he most certainly didn't like the discrimination that he was the only one that looked... 'blocky'.

Panda: "Is this you trying to tell me I'm fat?! I told you, I'm not fat--I'M A PANDA!!!"

Only pixelated blinks from the others came as a response, but just to the side of them, Junpei could be seen surprisingly not as shocked as people may have thought. Sure, he didn't quite understand what was going on, but he wasn't screaming or anything like Panda. Instead, Junpei just looked down in amazement at his hands. Hands that no longer contained flesh and blood, but tiny pixelated blocks that came together to make up his appearance. It truly was something amazing, despite how daunting it was to think about. He was only pulled away from it when he heard who was the cause of this.

Slowly, his gaze drifted to (Y/n) in the distance, where the confident male stood in a fighting position that waved from side to side with the pixels. Jogo did the same a little further in front of (Y/n). In this moment, time slowed down as Junpei watched the confidence of (Y/n) seep into the air, even with the way he looked, Junpei could tell (Y/n) wasn't going to lose, and that made him understand just how cool (Y/n) was. How amazing it was to have all these abilities. Honestly, it made Junpei want to be like him even more than before. It made him wonder, if he had these abilities just like (Y/n), would Junpei...Would he...be cool like (Y/n)?

That question went unanswered, however, as Junpei was suddenly pushed out of the way of an oncoming pixelated lava ball by Inumaki. It was fair to say that a narrow miss of death was enough to break Junpei from his thoughts. Meanwhile, not far away, the also pixelated (Y/n) could be seen pushing his teeth together as he clenched his fingers with hesitation and sucking in a sharp bit of air as he watched Junpei cautiously rise to his feet.

(Y/n): "Sorry about that one, Junpei! My bad!" [Turns to Jogo] "That was a close one, Volcano Head, not cool!"

Jogo: "Forget that! What have your bone to my body?! Why do I look like...This?!"

Again, just like everything else, Jogo was pixelated. The tiny blocks came in a pale blue color, with the volcano atop his head consisting of brown blocks for the base of the volcano, and bright orange blocks for the lava, which still seemed to flow downward like before, though in a more...chunky form. This only left (Y/n) to chuckle as he placed his hands on his hips.

(Y/n): "You like it, huh? Yeah, this is number Fifty-Five, 'Arcade Madness'; again, it like 'Stage Play' it only affects things in a one hundred-meter distance."

Jogo: "Is this a Domain Expansion?"

(Y/n): "Haha! Nah. I mean, I could see why you'd think that. But I like to keep my Domain Expansions on a much grander scale. This is nothing compared to the three I have."

Jogo: [Narrows gaze] "You really think you're some sort of a--DID YOU JUST SAY YOU HAVE THREE DOMAIN EXPANSIONS?!"

(Y/n): [Casually scratching nose] "Huh? Oh, yeah. Pretty cool, huh?"

Jogo: "HOW?! How is that possible, I've never--"

(Y/n): "--Never seen something like that before? Yeah, that's what everyone says. That's also what 'She' says, if ya know what I mean~"

A stray chuckle escaped (Y/n)'s lips, as he did so, his eyes began to ideally look around. Though, as he did, his gaze suddenly landed on Maki, who, despite her pixelated form, could still perfectly pull off a glare that told her boyfriend to get into gear, before she gets into gear and kicks his butt. Again, despite the pixelated form, (Y/n)'s sudden burst of fear on his face was prominent immediately, and warned him enough to suddenly turn back to Jogo.

(Y/n): "A-Anway, let's just keep things moving, alright? Um..." [Coughs; Looks to the sky] "Announcer guy? You wanna get this thing started?"

Immediately, everyone dawned a look of confusion as they watched (Y/n) speak to the night sky above.

Jogo: "Huh?"

Megumi: "What's he doing now?"

Nobara: "Who's he talking to?"

Maki: "It better be God, saying he'll be there soon, if he doesn't just get this done already and stops being stupid."

But it wasn't God, who (Y/n) was talking to, such was revealed seconds later when a deep, loud voice, called out from seemingly nowhere.

"Players Ready?"

Maki: "Huh?! What was that?"

Maki asked with shock at the sudden inclusion of the deep voice into the surrounding atmosphere. She wasn't alone, as everyone else present looked around in confusion, but no matter how hard they tried to find the person talking, they just couldn't. Though, they were given somewhat of an answer when before them, the fight between the pixelated (Y/n) and Jogo suddenly took began spinning to the side, so it faced the group of watchers in a 2D format. The background and everything was also pixelated, but with the 2D format, it really seemed like everyone was standing in front of an Arcade screen.

Like something out of Street Fighter or one of the old arcade games, Junpei's Mom had told him about. The way the idle bodies of the fighters seemed to once more move without actually moving, showcased this perfectly. It was like they were characters from a videogame who had no one controlling them, leaving them to just slightly move whilst standing in place, waiting for something to happen. The video game aspect, and the 2D format, were given an added boost when the previous words of the deep voice suddenly appeared above (Y/n) and Jogo's heads in a white, stylized, font. Seconds before the deep voice repeated his sentence.

"Players Ready?"

(Y/n): "Of course, I am!"

Jogo: "Huh? Wha--What's going on? Why is--WHY CAN'T I SEE ANYTHING ON MY SIDES!!"

Such was true, as right now, just as the others saw (Y/n) and Jogo in a 2D pixelated form, that was exactly what Jogo and (Y/n) saw as themselves. They were just specs forced to seeing only right in front of them. This was yet another thing Jogo was not expecting from (Y/n), pushed further as Jogo screamed with vile anger at the young boy.

(Y/n): "Haha! Relax, Volcano Head! This is just like in those old Arcade games!"

Jogo: "I DON'T KNOW WHAT THOSE ARE!! I'LL KILL YO--Ugh...Why can't I move?"

(Y/n): "You heard the voice in the sky, he asked if we were ready. You wanna kill me? Say you're ready, already!"

Jogo: "ARGH! I'M READY! NOW LET ME KILL THIS FOOL!"

"ALRIGHT!"

"PLAYER'S READY!"

"PLAYERS! ATTACK POSITIONS!"

With a grin, (Y/n) moved his pixelated body and got into a fighting stance. As for Jogo, he witnessed this and followed soon after, though a noticeable growl from within his gut could be heard as he did so. Once both players were in their fighting positions, the announcer's voice returned.

"Ready?"

(Y/n): [Grins] "Don't cry too much if you lose, okay? I'm really good at these games."

Jogo: "I'll make your head explode with molten lava!"

(Y/n): [Chuckles] "...I'd like to see you try."

"Set?"

Jogo: "How'd you get this powerful anyway? From what I hear, you were weak before?"

(Y/n): "Let's just say someone came to me when I was at my lowest and gave me an option...I chose the one that brought me to this moment now."

Immediately Jogo tilted his head in confusion, unsure of what (Y/n) meant by what he said. But before he could ask anything more about it, he was suddenly cut off by the aforementioned male once again, who like before, carried his grin.

(Y/n): 'Hey, Volcano Head, a word of warning when coming to fight me. These fists and cursed techniques of mine, they're Rated E...For everyone! So I don't care if you're disabled with One Eye, I'm still gonna beat the shit out of you."

Jogo: "...STOP FUCKING MENTIONING MY--

"FIGHT!"

As soon as the word sounded, Jogo lifted his pixelated head, but even with him doing that seconds after the start of the game was announced, (Y/n) was already right in front of him. Jogo couldn't even properly react as (Y/n) hit him with a quick One! Two! The two punches to the face, sending him sliding backwards in the 2D format world he was forced into, were quickly followed by one sharp kick that slightly forced him off the ground. But before Jogo could block the next attack, (Y/n) kicked him again, sending Jogo higher into the sky.

Meanwhile, to the side, everyone else watched in awe at the real-life video game playing before them. The way the players would grunt every time they jumped or punched reminding them all of a time seeing an old-fashioned fighting game, whether that be on TV, or at home. Honestly, the sight of a 2D pixelated Jogo dropping back to the ground, sending a wave of pixelated fireballs at (Y/n), who used a double jump to dodge them seemed something right out of Mario. And the way he used a sudden dash to zoom right towards the unsuspecting Jogo to deliver a plethora of punches was amazing. Each strike brought a counter onto the screen.

'1X!' '2X!' '3X!' '4X!' '5X!'

The combos only continued to build up, causing more picelated blood to flow from Jogo's mouth and face, the main punching range for (Y/n)'s attacks. Eventually, (Y/n) got into such a groove that his pixelated form was moving so quickly, continuing to rack up the numbers for combos, that everyone watching couldn't keep count.

'33X!' '34X!' '35X!' '36X!' '37X!' '38X!'

'67X!' '68X!' '69X!' '70X!' '71X!' '72X!'

They just continued to build up, until eventually (Y/n) had reached a total of 100 consecutive combos in a row. It was fair to say, by this point, Jogo's face was more so made up of one giant cube instead of a bunch of tiny ones to make up his head.

'98X!' '99X!' '100X!'

It was with that one-hundredth strike that (Y/n) delivered a powerful uppercut to the bottom of Jogo's cubed face. Honestly, he looked like a player out of Minecraft with that head structure. But even with this funny expression, the others watching couldn't believe what was going on. This scene only reinforced the idea that (Y/n) truly was one of the strongest sorcerers ever! And not just in the modern age! It was in their awestruck face that they began to notice their bodies and the world around them were slowly turning back to normal.

Nobara: "Hey, look! My hands are turning back to normal!"

Junpei: "Mine too!"

Megumi: "And my body!"

Inumaki: "Tuna."

Maki: "You're right, Nobara."

Panda: "FINALLY! I CAN BE A PANDA AGAIN!"

That remark caused Junpei to raise an eyebrow as he turned to Panda. As Junpei was still yet to know that Panda...was a Panda, thanks to one of (Y/n)'s Cursed Techniques used on him earlier. But the matter that everything was turning back to normal led the group of teenagers to turn back to (Y/n), where everything around him could also be seen turning back to normal. This realization became known to Jogo, who continued to get sent flying higher into the air due to (Y/n)'s uppercut. Finally, he could turn his head and look at the world around him. Honestly, he was surprisingly happy that he could look around again.

Being stuck in a 2D form of the world was not a fun thing. But Jogo's happiness was suddenly dropped when he looked down at the world below to see a de-pixelating (Y/n) launch off the ground and was currently heading straight for him. Even when only the face of (Y/n) remained pixelated, Jogo could still clearly see the smirk on (Y/n)'s face, and when (Y/n)'s entire form had returned to normal, it was even more prominent than before. But as (Y/n)'s zooming body grew closer to Jogo's flapping body, going higher into the night sky, the curse noticed (Y/n)'s grin drop as he took a serious expression for once. And it was one that Jogo would never forget.

(Y/n): "Hey, Curse, a word of warning for you and whoever sent you... I've had a shit life. So moments with my friends is something I treasure more than you could even know. I don't mind fighting people like you, I owe them as much, but if you ever...ever...come after me when I'm having fun again, trust me when I say your biggest deformity won't be that one eye on your head."

Jogo: "Why you little--"

Out of nowhere, (Y/n)'s charismatic grin returned as his body continued to fly higher into the air towards Jogo.

(Y/n): [Smiles Brightly] "But now that that's out of the way, I just have one more thing to say to you..."

With a sharp turn of his grin, (Y/n) turned his flying body to the side slightly, bringing both his hands around his hips like he was holding a baseball within them and powering up the throw. He certainly was powering up something, but it wasn't a normal normal ball. Something Jogo and the others came to realize when a bright blue light began to form within the two palms of (Y/n)'s hands. This blue glow only continued to grow and grow until a large sphere of bright blue energy forced the hands apart.

The bright blue ball of energy only continued to grow. It was only when it reached the size of a bowling ball that (Y/n) turned down to the world below, made eye contact with Maki, and offered her a wink. The matter instantly caused everyone to turn to the green-haired girl who blushed immediately. Once he saw the wanted effect took place, (Y/n) turned his focus back to Jogo. And with the ball of blue energy continuing to pulsate in his hands, he finally spoke the one word he had left to say to Jogo...

(Y/n): "HADOUKEN!"

"HADOUKEEEEN!!!"

With the powerful call of the word from both the announcer and (Y/n), the aforementioned male finally released all the energy stored up in the blue sphere and launched it toward Jogo. In that very moment, a large ray of blue energy was sent directly at the confused curse. Before long, Jogo's one eye stretched as far as he could. His jaw-dropping to reveal his charred teeth. The look of genuine shock and regret spawned a tidal wave of other emotions for Jogo to accept. Unfortunately, he didn't have long to do that, as within seconds, his entire body was swallowed by the blue blast of energy. Sending him even higher into the night sky. Eventually, the world around him went white, as it did, he was taken to another world entirely...

[Jogo's POV]

--Elsewhere--

...When I opened my eyes, everything else I felt before felt like a dream. I found myself sitting at a kitchen table, with a plate with meat, mashed potatoes, beans, and other foods humans ate. Looking around, I saw a home filled with warmth. The joyful gazes of two children giggled to my left as they spoke between eating their food. To my left, I was greeted by the sight of the most beautiful woman on earth.

Her dark hair perfectly matched her blue eyes, hidden behind a pair of thin layered glasses. I had never met this woman before in my life...But I knew I loved her. I couldn't help but blush at her when she smiled at me. Quickly, I shifted my head to the side. I was nervous? How could I not? She was so beautiful that even with an angel in the room, she would outshine it in every regard.

It was as I turned my head, however, that I finally saw my reflection in a glass of water. I was a short-stumped, slightly overweight man. The guy you'd picture when someone told you about a man who worked at a desk job for a company for most of his days. I wasn't a curse? No... I was human. I finally became a true human. This...Was the happiest moment in my entire life. No. My entire exist--

[3rd Person POV]

--In Reality--

(Y/n): "Haha! I hope ya brought mouthwash with ya, Volcano Head. Because you're about to get a view not even many women get to see!"

Immediately the eyes of Jogo burst open upon hearing the voice of (Y/n).

Jogo: "Huh?"

Upon doing so, he was greeted by the sight of his body falling to the ground below. But the impact was not the true fear currently present, instead, that fear was above. Where (Y/n) could be seen continuing to fall down right toward Jogo's current position, where either they'd meet within the air, or collide with the ground fifty meters below them. However, upon hearing (Y/n)'s most recent remark, Jogo didn't fear colliding with the ground as much.

Especially when he saw (Y/n)'s snarky grin, and what he had on display. And that very display was the wide-opened legs of the young man who continued to near his current descending position towards the ground below. Now, whilst still fully clothed in his casual pieces of clothing he decided to wear when going to the movies, this did not stop (Y/n) from having his fun. And for Jogo wanting to go back to the life he just saw.

Jogo: "No! No! No! Stop! Take me back! Take me back to the life I had before!"

(Y/n): "Huh? Life before? What are you talking about?"

Jogo: "I wanna go back to my beautiful wife! My kids! I don't want this anymore, I just--"

Before Jogo could finish, however, he was abruptly silenced when the crotch belonging to (Y/n) suddenly brushed up against Jogo's face. The 'Mid-air Teabag Special' as (Y/n) called it, was now in full throttle. Something that continued to happen until (Y/n)'s rear had finished doing the exact same thing and fully departed from Jogo's face. The "tea-bagging" process placed upon the cursed spirit in what seemed like a mere playful antic to showcase just how much (Y/n) had been winning this fight so far was recognised by all. To the point, both Panda and Inumaki couldn't help but laugh their asses off whilst standing on the ground below.

Well, Panda laughed his off, Inumaki was trying to hold his own back. As for Megumi, he was too much of a sore loser to laugh at something clearly this funny. As for Junpei, he was still trying to comprehend what he was seeing. The fact (Y/n) was somehow using superpowers to fight a monster tore his mind in complete disbelief. As for Maki and Nobara, they just found (Y/n)'s act of brushing his crotch into the face of Jogo to be disgusting. However, they too were soon made to be shocked like Junpei when the seemingly simple contact of (Y/n)'s crotch on Jogo's face abruptly caused the cursed spirit to get further flung through the air. This time his body was sent crashing to the ground at greater speeds than (Y/n)'s simple kick from earlier could do.

The spectators watching were only able to count to three before Jogo's body crashed into the earthly soil down below. A massive crater was caused in the process. The dignity of Jogo was quickly fading, only made worse, however, that he was given such pain by being 'teabagged' in the face, as (Y/n) called it. But (Y/n) only seemed to find this hilarious that such a taunt actually caused so much damage onto Jogo, to the point when (Y/n) safely landed on the ground a few seconds later, he completely took his focus off Jogo to turn to his friends with a smile. The only acknowledgement of Jogo was when (Y/n) unconsciously aimed his thumb over his shoulder in the direction of the crater that was now formed in the ground.

(Y/n): "Haha! Did you guys see that? I think I just made his eye roll into the back of his head...And with no hands! Huh? That brings a whole new meaning to 'Look Ma! No hands!' now doesn't it?"

The goofy look on his face that (Y/n) ended his sentence with showcased just how much fun he was having now. Add on the laughter of Panda flooding the air and the moment was only getting better for (Y/n).

Panda: "Hahaha! (Y/n), you're incredible! Hahaha! You crack me up, you son of a Panda!"

The encourage expression and wide smile that Panda could hardly keep together due to his laughing was all anyone could notice about the cursed corpse, who repeatedly slapped the young boy on the back as he hunched over with the growth of humour inside of him.

Panda: "I mean--Haha--What other sorcerer in their right mind would teabag their enemy?! Haha! I cannot stop laughing, this is the best day of my life."

With his laughter fading Panda's sentence ended with a sigh and a happy smile as he wiped a tear from his eye whilst the others watched on, completely unfocused on Jogo at all. Of course, the group was only acting in such a way because they had no idea just how powerful Jogo actually was. So, in a way, that goes to show that (Y/n)'s power levels are on a level to the point he doesn't know what a strong opponent is anymore. As for Jogo himself, his own opinions before this matter had even started were beginning to change as he slowly pulled his body out of the crater his very body made.

Jogo: "Raaah! Geto was an idiot! He told me nothing about this sorcerer being so strong! He could even be stronger than Gojo Satoru! Yet, at least with Gojo, he'll keep his attention on you! This...Boy...isn't even focusing on me right now!"

The anger on Jogo's face only doubled when he turned back to (Y/n) to see his aforementioned words were now far more truer than ever before. Such was confirmed by the sight of (Y/n) chuckling nervously as he rubbed the back of his head whilst an agitated Maki yelled at him.

Maki: "What the hell do you think you're doing, (Y/n)? This isn't a game!"

(Y/n): 'Well, I mean, my Cursed Technique is actually based around a game so--"

A simple glare from Maki was all it took to silence (Y/n)...for a few seconds.

(Y/n): "I know you're trying to be scary right now. But I can't help but find it very attractive--"

Maki: "Now isn't the time, (Y/n)!"

(Y/n): "Okay! Okay!" [Chuckles Lightly] "I know, Maki, I'm sorry, I was just having a little fun because--"

Maki: "Because?! Because, why?! Your little friends are watching you? I don't care, (Y/n)!"

Megumi: "...Friends?" [Sighs] "Please, don't put me in with that group."

Panda: "...Little?!" [Suddenly flexes] "I am not 'Little', Maki. Panda is a BIG Panda! Isn't that right, Inumaki?!"

Inumaki: [Boredly Blinks] "Fish Flakes."

Panda: "COMPENSATING?! What the hell, dude?! My muscles are not compensating for anything!"

Inumaki: "Tuna Tuna."

Panda: "I do NOT get embarrassed when I am in the changing rooms. I simply like to...give everyone their privacy is all--I AM NOT A TINY PANDA I AM--"

Maki: [To Panda] "Shut it, fur baby! Before I shave you and make you look like the inside of an old grandma's legs!"

Panda: "...Grandma?" [Tilts Head] "But I don't have a Grandma, Maki?"

The confusion on Panda's face, oblivious to Maki's point of her previous sentence, was enough to leave the young girl to roll her eyes in annoyance. But her focus wasn't currently on that of the annoying guys who hung around her boyfriend, it was her boyfriend himself. The glare on Maki's face was as fierce as ever as she narrowed her gaze through her glasses to focus in on (Y/n)'s wayward expression. Honestly, right now it seemed like a kid was being yelled at by his mother for breaking a plate or something. Everything from the fear to the nervousness of it all rested on (Y/n)'s face right now. Only skyrocketing when Maki suddenly turned back to him.

Maki: "And, you!" [Intensifies Glare] "Don't think for a second I've forgotten about you!"

(Y/n): [Frightened] "I would never think you'd forget about me!"

Maki: "Oh, yeah? Well, you must have forgotten how worried I would be having to see my boyfriend recklessly fight against a curse!" [Punches your arm] "And I'm still mad you made me think you were dead!"

(Y/n): "Ow!" [Chuckles nervously] "I'm sorry, Maki. But I--"

Maki: [Glares] "You watch your next words, (Y/n)! I'm not forgiving enough to the point I'll hold myself back from punching you in another place! Especially after my boyfriend told me to stay back and 'let him handle it'. Something I wouldn't have done knowing he would simply be taking this moment to show off!"

(Y/n): "Yeah, but--"

Maki: "BUT--NOTHING! You're fortunate that this curse seems to be incredibly weak for you to be able to do such stupid things to him!"

Suddenly, to the side, Jogo's head perked up upon hearing Maki's sentence.

Jogo: [Thoughts] "Did that human just call me weak?"

No confirmation came Jogo's way, especially from Maki, who instead found herself standing completely still, her arms crossed as she looked to the side with her glare as ever-present as ever before. Of course, she wasn't looking at (Y/n), but the way she scrunched her nose slightly, narrowed her eyes, and made it plainly clear she was annoyed, (Y/n) couldn't help but find Maki incredibly adorable right now. He knew she was mad with him, but there was just a resounding feat about this girl that always made his heart quicken whenever he was around her.

So it came as no surprise that he found that exact feeling inside of his chest as Maki made it clear that she wasn't happy. Luckily for (Y/n), he knew there was one thing that could definitely change that. It was the one thing a lot of girls needed when they were angry...A cuddle. So, even though he was venturing in the direction of a wild beast, (Y/n) held back as his fear as he took in a deep breath to prepare himself for whatever could come his way. And by the sound of the tone in Maki's voice, it couldn't come any sooner for the young, clueless, male.

Maki: "Honestly, I don't know how many times you do things like this. I tell you to be careful, but do you listen? No! You just have to be the pretty boy show-off you always think yo--Kya!"

Maki was suddenly cut off from her sentence, however, when she suddenly felt the warmth of her boyfriend press against her. The feeling only growing further once (Y/n) completed the action of wrapping his arms around her body. The suddenness of it all enough to bring a spark of shock to her, along with the uncharacteristic- "Kya!" -sound from her mouth. It was clear Maki was already embarrassed by making such a sound. But that embarrassment only doubled when (Y/n) suddenly pulled her body even closer to his own, something Maki yet again didn't expect, leading to another echo of the word from Maki's mouth that didn't seem to belong there.

Maki: [Shock] "Kya!"

(Y/n): "Haha! That's a cute sound, Maki. I've never heard you make that one before~"

It was fair to say that (Y/n)'s choice of words was not helping him soothe the anger of Maki, who quickly raised her blushing, yet still glaring face, towards his own. Her true anger was put on display when she abruptly shoved his body away from her. Solely in the hopes she wouldn't make that pathetic sound again. But (Y/n) didn't mind much.

Maki: [Blushing] "Argh! You're an idiot! Y-You know that?!"

(Y/n): "I'm an idiot...?"

Maki: "Yeah! And a real...a real big one, too!"

(Y/n): "Really? Well, I'm sorry, Maki... I didn't mean to annoy you."

With his words came the lowering of (Y/n)'s head, but along with that, it brought in the eyes of everyone in the surrounding area, who found it out of character for (Y/n) to seem so sad. Even to the point, Maki was beginning to regret her words. She didn't want to hurt (Y/n)'s feelings, she just wanted him to know that being forced to simply watch whilst he risked his life was something she hated! She just wanted him to understand what he was doing to her. But seeing him like this, it made her want to fix everything right away. Something she eventually went about doing, however, just as she was beginning to speak, (Y/n) decided to spin his girlfriend onto her head once more with his next set of words.

(Y/n): "--I only did what I did because I didn't want the curse to hurt my pretty Maki is all."

Maki: "Huh? Wait..." [Blinks Repeatedly] "...W-What?!"

Maki's blush only doubled in colour, as did the attention spans of the others watching. Heck, even Jogo was thrown off by what was going on, and confused as to how this became the weirdest fight in his entire lifespan. But right now, that didn't matter. All anyone cared about was the abrupt conversation between the young couple. Maki left to stand completely still as she nervously looking up at the gentle smile her boyfriend currently offered her.

(Y/n): "I just thought, you know, if I agitated Volcano Head enough he'd be so focused on me that... He'd stay away from you and the others. I just didn't want you to get hurt. Because I love you..."

Upon the final word (Y/n) suddenly lifted his gaze to look back at Maki. Though when Maki saw this she was quick to suddenly drop her own. She knew that if her eyes made contact with (Y/n)'s own for longer than a second then she'd be left a stuttering mess. And she really didn't need more endless teasing from Panda and Nobara. It didn't help that (Y/n) said he loved her, something she still struggled to tell him back.

Not because she didn't love him, but because she just didn't know how to say it without feeling weird about herself when showing her emotions. This caused Maki to drop her head slightly, yet, even with Maki dropping her head, that didn't stop her from smiling to herself, fidgeting about by fixing up her glasses, and giving a fake cough to try and hide her inner emotions, that she still didn't like hearing (Y/n) say such things about her.

Maki: [Madly blushes] "O-Oh, well--" [Coughs] "--I see. But that still doesn't...I-It doesn't mean you can just be stupid when fighting!" [Turns to you suddenly] "S-So stop being stupid and...hurry up and beat this guy so I can go home and have a shower already!"

The way that Maki finished her sentence by crossing her arms and looking to the side was something that immediately began to stir the emotions inside of (Y/n)'s spirit. But he wasn't alone. It was clear to everyone present that Maki clearly didn't know how to handle her own emotions right now so she decided to just act the normal tsundere stereotype that Panda constantly referred to her as doing whenever in a situation where she had to show her feelings and such.

Of course, Maki refused that she was anything like a tsundere...Whatever that was! She didn't know! But right now only proved to her critics that Maki was indeed one of them, and (Y/n) knew it as well. It was mainly due to this, and the fact that right now Maki was even more adorable than before, that he couldn't help but spark another wave of it by smiling brightly whilst pulling her into another sudden tight hug.

Maki: [Shock] "Kya?!"

(Y/n): "Haha! Don't worry, Maki! I'll end this fight right here and now so you'll be able to go home and have a shower! Haha!"

Maki: [Blushing] "Wo-Would you stop doing that already?! I-It's getting annoying..."

(Y/n): [Grins] "You sure about that?" [Tilts head] "I thought you liked cuddles?"

As soon as the word cuddles entered the air Maki's entire sturdy front was dropped by that of her true self. The embarrassed blush on her face taking a pinker shade as she crossed her arms and looked to the ground. This only led (Y/n) to stir the pot further.

(Y/n): "Come on, Maki~ You like cuddles, right?"

Holding in her response, Maki slowly lifted her full green eyes to look up at her boyfriend in a soft manner. Now any sense of anger or annoyance was gone, replaced with an innocent look that showed Maki's true child-like attitude she normally had when it was just the two of them. Honestly, it was like the pair had even forgotten where they were. Yet, it was shown Maki had some semblance of where they were when she only responded in a silent mutter that only her boyfriend could hear. Mostly because she didn't want the others to see her like this, so of course she definitely didn't want them to hear her even more! Only (Y/n) could see her like this, only (Y/n) could hear her like this... And that's the only person currently on her mind.

Maki: "...Of course, I like cuddles. I'm just not exactly used to doing it in front of everyone yet."

(Y/n): "Hmm? But I thought you were fine with people knowing about us?"

--With The Others--

Panda: "Aw~ They're so cute together!" [Suddenly cries] "WHAAA!! WHY CAN'T I FIND LOVE!!!"

Nobara: [Glares at Maki] "She knows what she's doing..." [Narrows gaze] "Touche, Maki, Touche. But two can play at that game, girl."

Panda: "WHA--" [Turns to Nobara] "Huh? What did you say?"

Inumaki: "Tuna Mayo."

Panda: "You're right, it's probably best to ignore it for now."

Megumi: "...WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?! A FUCKING FIGHT WAS GOING ON SECOND AGO...AND NOW THIS?!"

The sudden outburst was enough to take away the gazes of Nobara, Panda, and Inumaki, who all suddenly turned to the black-haired male who had clearly cracked finally.

Nobara: "What's your problem, Megumi?"

Megumi: [Turns to her] "My problem?! What about them?! (Y/n) was the one to tell us to stay back and watch whilst he fought the curse--and now he's fucking talking to Maki like none of everything we just saw even happened!"

Again, Megumi screamed. Again, everyone just stared at him.

Nobara: "Um...Okay? Jealous much?"

Megumi: "WHAT?! JEALOUS?!"

Nobara: "Yeah, you seem pretty jealous that (Y/n)'s talking to a girl. What? You like him or something?"

Megumi: "WHAT?! NO! THAT'S DISGUSTING!"

Nobara: "That so...?" [Grins] "I'm telling her you said that~"

It seemed in that very moment that Megumi finally realized what he had previously said. But before he could take it back, Panda proceeded to lean down beside the smaller male to add in his own take on the matter.

Panda: "It's okay, Megumi, you can't have (Y/n), but I'm sure there's someone for you out there! Maybe a guy from a cafe, or the local school, or even--"

Megumi: "--I'M NOT INTO DUDES!"

Nobara: "So you're into Maki?"

Megumi: "NO!"

Nobara: "...So you're into dudes?"

Megumi: "N--"

Nobara: "If that's it, you could have just said so."

Megumi: "BUT I'M NOT--"

Inumaki: "Salmon."

Immediately Megumi turned to Inumaki, ready to yell, only to pause himself when Inumaki was simply looking at him after saying 'Salmon' in a much calmer means compared to the others. It managed to throw Megumi off his game so much that he didn't fully understand what Inumaki had said. But going off the way he currently looked at Megumi in a calm manner, it seemed as if Inumaki was the only sane person here, right? Right...?

Panda: "HAHAHAHA! You're so right, Inumaki! This does explain why Megumi doesn't like taking showers with us in the public shower at the beach! Hahaha!"

Megumi: "I'M NOT INTO DUDES OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT! AND DON'T BRING UP THE SHIT WITH THE SHOWERS!

Panda: "WHAT?! DON'T LIKE CO-OPING SHOWER TIME WITH THE BOYS, MEGUMI?!"

Megumi: "NO, YOU OVERSIZED TEDDY BEAR!"

Panda: [Loudly Gasps; Clenches chest] "...How dare you!"

The reaction was the final straw for Megumi, who could only drop his face into his opened hand which he used to slap himself with.

Megumi: [Shakes head] "I hate my life..." [Sighs] "Look, Panda, this isn't one of your soap opera love shows, okay! This is real li--"

PANDA: "HEY! ...Not cool. Leave the shows out of this."

A look of disapproval immediately came from Inumaki and Nobara, the former shaking his head as Megumi just sighed once more. As this happened, Junpei watched in silence. He couldn't believe how crazy (Y/n)'s friends were. But crazy in a good way! After all, they had everything about them! There was the big funny guy in Panda! The pretty girl who knew just how far her looks could get her in Nobara!

Megumi was the clear outcast who was made to be apart of the group. And Inumaki was the silent dude who was still really fun to hang around. They all seemed to cover so much ground in the friend group that every young boy wanted to be apart of, and for Junpei, it only made him even more envious of (Y/n) and his life with each passing second. To now find out he had these strange powers and abilities, only added to his coolness in Junpei's eyes.

But what once was simple astonishment was quickly growing to an urge to be just like (Y/n). Of course, that could never happen. But as Junpei turned back to look at his hero once more, to see him hold such a beautiful girl in his arms, without a care for any of the danger around him, he realized just how great it would be if his life was anything like (Y/n)'s. Even the loud confusion of Jogo couldn't ruin the moment.

--With Jogo--

Jogo: "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?! I THOUGHT THIS WAS A FIGHT! NOT A TEA PARTY!"

--Back With You--

Maki: "...Of course, I like cuddles. I'm just not exactly used to doing it in front of everyone yet."

(Y/n): "Hmm? But I thought you were fine with people knowing about us?"

Maki: "...I am. I am! I love having people know you're mine--" [Mumbles] "Even if a certain ginger doesn't seem to care very much!" [Back to you] "--But still... I'm not used to having so much openness in my life is all."

When (Y/n) heard this, he wanted to say something to bring about an end to Maki's worries. But sometimes in life, words alone aren't enough to do that. That's why, as Maki looked up at him, he allowed his best smile to find his lips. One that reflected perfectly in her bright eyes. Unfortunately, that moment was suddenly ruined.

Junpei: "(Y/n)! Look out! Behind you!"

Immediately (Y/n) dropped his smile and turned his head around. As for Maki, her once annoyed face took on a confused exterior as she looked past (Y/n)'s shoulder only for her eyes to suddenly widen in fear. And why not? I mean, what else would one do when looking over the shoulder of the person who currently held all their attention only to see a small hill-sized ball of boiling lava heading straight for their current location?

But just as Maki turned her fear-flooded face in the direction of her boyfriend, she was stunned to see him smiling down at her once more. This only led to more confusion when he did nothing but wink at her, all before out of nowhere he picked up, and carried bridal style, the love of his life. It seemed as if the ball of lava was about to strike them, but just before it did, (Y/n)'s body suddenly swapped out with that of a blank Mannequin.

This was yet another move that caused Junpei's eyes to widen before they were forced to shut as the ball of lava struck the Mannequin, causing an explosion of light to abruptly fill the air. It was strong enough that even Panda, Megumi, Inumaki, and Nobara were forced to turn their heads away. The only person who looked on was the very cause of the attack, the one-eyed curse, Jogo. The deranged smile of his seemed ready to break his lips. Finally. Finally! He had beated--

(Y/n): "Better luck next time, Bucko."

Jogo: "Huh?"

Immediately everyone turned to the voice to see (Y/n)'s confident grin on display once more as he stood atop a tree branch with Maki still cradled in his arms bridal style. A blush was still present on her cheeks as she had her face buried into her neck. Slowly, after knowing she was safe, she slowly pulled her head out and looked up into her boyfriend's eyes. As she did, the blush on her face doubled as the pair lovingly looked at each other. It was moments like this that truly cemented just how each other felt, and that at the end of the day, no matter what happened, they'd always be together. Something (Y/n) was proud of as he suddenly turned back to Jogo with an angry expression.

(Y/n): "HEY! HOW DARE YOU! YOU ALMOST HIT MY PRETTY MAKI! I KNOW LAVA IS YOUR ONLY THING! BUT SHE'S ALREADY HOT, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! SO STAY AWAY FROM HER!!!"

Such a thing only caused Maki to blink blankly, caught up in the words (Y/n) just said, as he carefully jumped to the ground and set her onto her feet. Where he turned to Maki and smiled.

(Y/n): [Smiles] "Don't worry, Maki, you have nothing to fear. I'll protect you!"

Maki: [Blushing] "Um...O-Okay."

(Y/n): "Besides! After all, this guy I'm fighting..." [Turns to Jogo and grins] "...He's weak."

In that very moment, any sense of restraint within Jogo's body was broken. Such was shown to everyone else when the caps on the side of his head popped off, and erupted with a destructive wave of volcanic power that launched directly from the Volcano on his head, high into the sky, and from the sides of his head where his ears should be. The trio of volcanic blasts were so powerful that it immediately burnt down every tree, grass, and plant in sight in those three directions. The heat alone was enough to showcase how violent the action was, leaving a stunned Junpei who watched safely from the side with the others to question one thing.

Junpei: [Thoughts] "This guy is weak...?"

It was that very concept that (Y/n) put into the world that made Jogo got beyond his limits and roar from the deepest part of his guts.

Jogo: "DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME BRAT! I'M GOING TO ENJOY RIPPING THAT SMUG LOOK ON YOUR FACE AND DEVOURING IT! AND THEN I'M GOING TO KILL THAT GIRL BESIDE YOU!"

(Y/n): "I would like to see you...not try that, thank you."

Jogo: "DIE YOU LITTLE SHIT!!!"

More and more of the volcanic blasts erupted from Jogo's head Causing everyone but (Y/n) to close their eyes due to out bright it all was. As for (Y/n), he just smiled. Though, that smile dropped slightly when he felt something grab onto him. Looking down, he saw it was Maki, who had allowed a small bit of fear to creep onto her face. She held her eyes as tightly as possible as she held onto (Y/n)'s shirt for safety.

This brought both a wave of affection onto (Y/n)'s mind, and an outburst of anger directed solely on the cause of Maki's fear. It was at this point, that (Y/n) was done playing around, as Jogo was about to find out. For as the angry eruptions from his head came to an end, Jogo found the confidence to grin once more as he brought his two hands together to form a shape that clearly showed he was about to create his Domain Expansion.

Jogo: [Chuckles] "Prepare to die, Sorcerer, I'm done playing games. Domain Expan--"

(Y/n): "DOMAIN EXPANSION! THIRD FORMATION!"

Jogo: "...Huh?"

Focusing in on (Y/n), and dropping his grin, Jogo saw the young boy was no longer grinning. Instead, he held out his own hands, just like Jogo, but (Y/n)'s two hands came together to form a square. Every finger on both hand was pressed against its opposite to form the structure. But that wasn't the thing that concerned Jogo.

Jogo: "...Third...Formation?"

(Y/n): "I told you earlier, shithead, I've got Three Domain Expansions. Either one of them could be enough to kill you spineless ass. But I haven't used this one yet, and I have a friend who's into this kind of stuff."

At that very moment, (Y/n) looked over his shoulder and smiled in the direction of his friends.

(Y/n): "Hey, Junpei!"

Immediately Junpei zoned in on (Y/n).

Junpei: "Uh, y-yeah?"

(Y/n): [Grins] "You're gonna love this one the most."

Junpei: "Huh? What do you--"

(Y/n) didn't wait around to let Junpei finish before he turned back to Jogo, for a moment, his smirk remained.

(Y/n): "I'm sure you have a cool Domain Expansion, and I was willing to let you use it. But then you went to threaten my girlfriend, and that's something I won't allow...from anyone. It's with that, that I have one last thing to tell you before showing you what a real Domain Expansion is."

Jogo: [Confused] "What's that?"

(Y/n): "...Mine's bigger."

That final remark immediately caused Jogo's eye to open wide, whilst it caused Panda to laugh his ass off to the side, whilst Inumaki chuckled. As for everyone else, they were too focused in on the scene to do anything but watch as (Y/n) closed his eyes, allowing his focus to come onto his next sentence.

"...Domain Expansion...Third Formation... LITERALLY EVERYTHING GOES OVERBOARD SHITHEAD! Aka..." [Grins] "...L.E.G.O.S!"

Junpei: "Legos?!"

Nobara: "He's not serious, right?"

Panda: "Haha! I love this!"

Inumaki: "Tuna Mayo."

Megumi: "Why am I not surprised?"

The answer to that was quite simple, nevertheless, it didn't really matter in the end. For as soon as (Y/n) finished off the name for his Domain Expansion, the world around (Y/n), Maki, and Jogo began to spin rapidly, like it was being reformed into something else. Which, actually wasn't that far from the truth. For as the world continued to spin around then, with only the ground remaining in place, Jogo noticed everything from the trees, to the grass, to the plants, to the actual playground area in the distance was changing into Legos. Not that he knew what legos were, of course.

But these things once filled with life were quickly switching out for colourful bricks connected together. It was like the trio had been teleported to a completely different world where Lego was the main substance of life. Eventually, even the ground beneath them shifted into Lego, though they were flat brown tiles that carried the same colour as the dirt that was once beneath them. Maki was so thrown off by all of this, that as she expanded every speck of the world around her shifting into Lego left her speechless. But nothing set itself apart like when she looked to the dark sky above, where she witnessed as a wave of dark black and blue Lego tiles washed through the sky.

As it passed through, the once realistic sky was transformed and replaced with legos. Even the moon and stars were swapped over with Lego. It truly showed the range of (Y/n)'s skills as a sorcerer, whilst also showing it was definitely his type of moveset. Honestly, as much as Maki thought she should be annoyed with him for creating such a silly Domain Expansion, she couldn't deny that LEGOS were definitely something connected with (Y/n) as a person. So she remained silent and simply remained close to his side as Jogo took his own moment to take in everyone around him.

Jogo: [Thoughts] "I...I can't believe it. A Domain Expansion like this...I haven't seen anything like this before..."

(Y/n): "Pretty cool, huh? I always thought Legos were badass, but with this...It takes it to a whole other level."

Jogo: "I don't understand what is this?!"

(Y/n): "Legos, ya idiot! What? You don't know what they are?"

The lack of any response seemed to be enough of an answer for that question.

(Y/n): "Damn...Alright. Kinda feel bad for what I'm about to do to you. But, look! Even though you did threaten to hurt my Maki-Waki--"

Maki: [Raises eyebrow] "Excuse me?"

(Y/n): [Giggles and smiles] "Cute nickname. You like it?"

Maki just crossed her arms and turned her head to hide her blush.

Maki: [Mutters] "It's better than you calling me 'Pookie'."

(Y/n): [To Jogo] "Anyway! Even though you did all that, I'm willing to be a nice guy and I'll create a binding vow with you."

Jogo: "A binding vow?"

(Y/n): "Yep! I'll tell you all you need to know in regard to this Domain Expansion, in return, you promise to not strike my Pookie--"

Maki: [Mutters] "Dammit. He heard me."

(Y/n): "We got a deal?"

Now, whereas some may have thought (Y/n) telling his opponent everything about his Domain Expansion was stupid, but in regards to this skill, it didn't really matter what he told them. You see, just like how Legos are used to create basically anything, the same rules apply for (Y/n) whilst within the barrier of this form of his Domain Expansion. He can create anything! First, it starts off by turning everything around him into Legos, everything but humans and curses are turned into Legos. It's whatever is turned that (Y/n) now has complete control over. Which means when someone is trapped in this Domain Expansion, they have very little hope of getting anything done when even a single step could be their doom.

Unfortunately for Jogo, he did not wait long enough to hear that pair. For as (Y/n) awaited Jogo's response to the binding vow, Jogo took it as his opportunity to finally attack the male before anything as he didn't want to feel his victory was any less earned. But what Jogo didn't know was that was exactly what (Y/n) wanted. For this entire fight, he had being pulling Jogo's strings. Getting him angry, making him unable to think properly and forcing him to depend on his strength alone. It was because of this that Jogo didn't think a simple step forward could spell his doom. But that's exactly what happened when Jogo suddenly lifted his foot and stepped forward.

But as his ventured towards the ground below, the tiles of Lego suddenly parted to the side. It was the suddenness of it all that hindered Jogo from stopping his foot from going any further. So before he knew it, his foot had fallen into the hole. Something that wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't for the fact that the tiles of Lego suddenly returned in place, slicing Jogo's right Lego clean off. The sudden overturn of balance caused Jogo's body to tumble backwards. But surely that would be okay, right? Wrong! For as Jogo's body headed for the ground behind him, several Lego spears suddenly formed out of Lego bricks, and pierced Jogo's body without any hesitation.

Jogo: "AARRGGHHH!!!"

(Y/n): "Hahaha! He actually fell for it! Hahaha!!"

The sound of (Y/n)'s laughter echoed as he covered the upper half of his head with a hand. But this only agitated Jogo further. With his face scrunched up, his severed lego was healed and with an explosion of lava from his body, caused the lego brick spears to shatter and scatter all over the place. Before long, Jogo was back on his feet and heading for (Y/n).

Jogo: "You're going to regret that, brat! I'm just any curse, I think you're forgetting that."

(Y/n): "And I think you're forgetting something as well. I'm not stuck in here with you...You're stuck in here with me."

Jogo: "I'LL KILL YOU!"

Fueled by anger and rage Jogo immediately pushed off his feet and began dashing for (Y/n) like a monster out of a horror movie. With a striking pace he dashed along the ground of the lego world around him, though, that's not to say it was an easy task. With every step he made, the world made of Lego was proving to be a disadvantage to the curse. Whether that be as he's running, his legos are suddenly brought to a stop when lego shoes wrap around his feet, connecting him to the ground. No matter how hard he tried to move, he couldn't budge. This allowed a lego saw to form from the ground and slice Jogo's body in half.

This caused his top half to tumble over whilst his legs remained trapped in the lego shoes. It was as his top half tumbled over, however, his lower half reformed completely, allowing him to perform a mini backflip to land on his feet and continue to run towards (Y/n). But (Y/n) didn't drop his grin. He just watched as Jogo did his best to avoid lego traps left, right, and centre. Nothing seemed to be able to stop him. Even when two large walls made of lego formed from the ground and suddenly slammed together, crushing Jogo's body immediately. The squeeze was so deadly that it caused Jogo's eye to burst from his head, the only thing left uncrushed by the walls of Lego.

However, yet again, he wouldn't go down. It was as this single eye flew through the air that Jogo's body reformed from it. Within seconds, Jogo was back in his full form and sending fire balls directly at (Y/n). He, of course, still didn't move. As Lego shields formed in every direction that a fire ball was coming. Even one that almost hit Maki in the face. This only annoyed Jogo further, but he was getting closer, before too long he'd reach (Y/n) and kill both of these sorcerer brats with ease. Well, that was until he was suddenly brought to a stop when he stepped on something. Something that caused an echo to enter the air.

ACK!

A few seconds of silence followed from Jogo as he just stood in place, like the world had stopped. It was in this moment that he slowly looked down and lifted his foot. As he did, he saw he had just stepped onto a Lego brick. The silence continued momentarily as he prolonged what just happened, before...

Jogo: "Argh! Ow! Ow! Ow! You son of a bitch! That really--"

BOOM!!!

Before he could finish, a sudden explosion of black curse energy went off. One that completely swallowed Jogo's body entirely as he bounced around whilst holding one lego. Truly, the pain of stepping on a Lego brick was one of the worst. But that was nothing compared to the explosion of black cursed energy that went off from the very Lego brick he stepped on. To put it simply, there was a move in Jujutsu that was called 'Black Flash'. It was a powerful technic. This explosion was basically that very Black Flash times by ten.

A special trait (Y/n) was added to this particular Domain Expansion. Unfortunately, the explosion was quite uncontrollable. Something Maki was about to find out when she saw the wall of black cursed energy heading right for her and (Y/n). And going off the screams of agony Jogo wailed in the distance, it wasn't going to be a pleasant experience. But just before she thought her suffering was coming her way, out of nowhere (Y/n) jumped in front of her.

His back faced the wall of black cursed energy as he wrapped his arms around her body. Immediately, Maki's head was buried into his chest as (Y/n) used his ability of control in this Domain to create a barrier of Lego that completely surrounded both himself and Maki. Another good thing about this Domain Expansion was the fact that no matter how much damage was given to these Lego Bricks, they'd be replaced instantly by another.

So no matter how much damage was placed onto these Lego bricks that surrounded (Y/n) and Maki, more would form to protect them. It was with this knowledge that (Y/n) allowed himself to fully focus on Maki, looking down at her with a smile the entire time she held onto his chest in fear. They stayed this way for a good half a minute until the explosion of black cursed energy finally faded. As it did, (Y/n) deactivated his Domain Expansion and returned everything back to the realistic manner it was moments earlier. It was only when a cold breeze of the nightly air brushed against her face, that Maki slowly opened her eyes.

Maki: "Huh? Is...Is it over?"

A simple look over his shoulder was all that was needed for (Y/n) to give Maki the answer she wanted as he saw the completely burnt body of Jogo lying on the ground some distance away from them. It seemed that even though he didn't use the full extent of his Domain Expansion, it was enough to defeat the enemy. It was with this knowledge that (Y/n) turned back to Maki and gently kissed her head. Immediately after, he brought her closer and continued to hug her warm body. Despite the twisted turn the night took, he wanted Maki to still find some joy in it.

(Y/n): "Yeah...It's over."

That's all that (Y/n) said as he wrapped his arm around Maki's shoulder, allowing the pair to walk away from the burnt body of Jogo, whose death was seemingly confirmed when his head broke off from the rest of his charred corpse. Before long, (Y/n) and the others returned to the others, where, of course, a lot of questions were asked. Questions which (Y/n) answered. But when asked about whether the Curse was dead, (Y/n) just laughed, and for perhaps because he knew Jogo wasn't really dead. As later the very night, the sight of Geto approaching Jogo's body could be seen. A slender smile pressed onto the male's face as he spoke.

Geto: "He's gone now. You can get up."

At that exact moment, Jogo's body reformed, allowing the curse spirit to sit up and rub the back of his neck.

Jogo: "Argh! That brat...I'll kill him." [Glares at Geto] "But you! You didn't tell me he was this strong!"

Geto: "Well, that's for a good reason...I didn't know."

Jogo: "You didn't know?!"

Geto: "Correct. The last time I heard of (Y/n) (L/n), he was the weakest member of the Gojo Clan. But I suppose somehow he has gotten stronger."

Jogo: "Yeah! A whole lot!"

Geto: "...Probably even stronger than Gojo."

Jogo: "Huh? What are you saying?"

Geto: "I'm saying that if you want to make your goal a reality, Gojo Satoru isn't your only problem now. So is (Y/n) (L/n)."

Jogo: "You don't say! Well?! What the hell am I supposed to do about that?!"

Geto: "Let's just say..." [Smiles] "...I have a few ideas."

It was with that final sentence that Jogo confusingly got to his feet and began to walk away into the night with Geto by his side. It was unknown what else Geto had to say, but whatever it was, it was clear that sooner or later it would come (Y/n)'s way. The only question left was... Could he handle it?
