Chapter 12 - 'Teenage Landscape -Part Two-'
[And we're back with JJK! Before we do, I want to be honest about something... I haven't felt like writing lately. It's not because I don't like writing. But it seems like lately, my books aren't doing as good as they have been at one point. And when you put a lot of effort into the stories you craft, it kinda gets you down in that degree. Even with this book, like, it does really well, don't get me wrong. But compared to the way it went for the first seven or so chapters, that kinda changes things a little when it doesn't do AS well. But I wanna keep going with it because... WE'RE ALMOST AT 100K READS FOR THIS STORY! Heck, by the time this chapter is out, we'll probably have already reached that mark. So thank you everyone...really...And to show how thankful I am... This chapter is for you guys.]
[Oh, and a Yandere Female Sukuna book is in the works. So keep an eye out for that~]

[Junpei's POV]
Every day feels the same. It always feels the same...
I wake up in the morning. I eat breakfast. I get ready for school. I hope on the Bus. I go to school. And I sit through the same old classes, over and over again, every single day. I don't think anyone around me notices just how repetitive it all is. Don't they get bored from it all? Don't they want it to change? But every time I look around at the faces of my classmates, I realize that just like everything else in life, they're always the same. They laugh and have fun with their friends, whilst I just watch alone.
They look at the girls walking pass, even five days in a row, they'll still stare at the same girls. Don't they get tired of doing it? Then again, I guess if you're people with friends, looking at girls is only a natural thing. You look at them and wonder... What it would be like if you got lucky enough for them to even notice you. I guess in a way, I wasn't just bored watching everyone repeat the same actions over and over again.
I think I'm just jealous. Angry. That I was the unfortunate one to be given the life of a loner. Left to simply be the watcher of the watchers. Whereas they did things that filled their daily goals, I ponder what it would be like if I were like them. If I were cool enough to have friends. If I was confident enough to smile at the pretty girls who walk on by. But whenever that thought enters my mind, I come to realize that every day is just the same. It's always the same. And when you're stuck with a life like mine. Living it every day isn't just a chore. It's a curse...
"He was totally ogling at my breasts!"
One thing I didn't understand, however, was that when those guys who were lucky enough to have friends and be popular looked at girls, no one batted an eye. But when I was just sitting alone eating my lunch like always, and just so happened to be unlucky enough to glance in the same direction of the prettiest girl in school, I was called a perv. And accused of doing something that I didn't even do.
But it wasn't the names I was called that made me realize how unfair the world is, it was the fact that when I was accused of something like this, it didn't go through the teachers, it went straight to the monsters that lurk in between these school walls. Well, monsters may be a harsh word for some. Others would probably call them bullies. But me...No. I knew they weren't simple bullies. They were monsters, ones who preyed on the weak. And unfortunately for me, I was the weakest there was...
PUNCH!
The attack comes before I even know it. The single punch coming from the tallest of the bullies collided with my right cheek, the force alone enough to slam my body against the wired fence behind me. Despite how dumb these guys really were, they were smart enough to do this in a place where no teacher normally comes. So with the lack of anybody around, I didn't even bother to scream for help. I just looked up, as blood ran down my nose, at the four older guys that stood in front of me. In the middle, the prettiest girl in school. She was the one who claimed I had been checking out her breasts. But instead of belittling me for supposedly "checking her out" they just took the opportunity to torment me even more.
"She does have a huge rack, so they bounce when she runs."
"I get why you would do it, Pussy Junpei. Haha!"
When I look up at them from the ground, I can't make out their faces. By this point, the bullying had been going on for so long that I forget which group was which. Their stupid faces all blended together at this point. The only one who really stood out was the prettiest girl in school. Unfortunately, with the plus of seeing her face, I was also given the opportunity to see how much disgust and hatred she had for me right now. But it wasn't because I had actually checked her out, it's because she knew I didn't...
Sighs...
Honestly, if I had a button that would make everyone I hated die on the spot... I probably wouldn't push it. But if there was a button that would make everyone who hated me die... I'd push it without any hesitation. Though, whenever that thought entered my mind, before it could properly process into something serious, I'd shove it into the back of my mind. Though right now, as these four assholes and the smug princess stare down at me with unjustified disgust, I allow the thought to stay a little longer.
Bully #1: "So, were you looking?"
Junpei: "Huh?"
Though, in the end, all it takes it the words of the bully who punched me only moments ago, to break me free of my thoughts. And though he smiled down at me now, I knew it was only brought on because he knew he was in control right now.
Bully #1: [Smiles and leans down] "I said, Pussy Junpei, were you looking at Tsubasa's breasts?"
Junpei: "I wasn't."
Bully #1: "Oh? So you're saying Tsubasa is lying to us? I don't think she would do that."
And just to prove how much of a monkey with a hard-on he was, this bully who I won't even name decided to showcase his true aggression. The bottom of his shoe soon came in contact with the side of my face. Luckily for me, it was on the opposite side of my face where this guy had already punched me. So now things were even. But I had a good idea that it wasn't going to stay that way for long.
Tsubasa: "He was definitely looking at them!"
Bully #2: "Haha! This is too funny!"
Bully #3: "Look at his face!"
Bully #4: "Oh! Let me get my phone! I wanna save this pathetic look on Pussy Junpei's face for the rest of my life!"
Of course, as one of the bullies went about doing that, I just laid there on the dirt ground, stowed away in a corner next to the science lab. A row of windows wasn't too far from our current position, so if a teacher happened to walk past right now, he'd see what was going on and stop it. Surely, he'd stop it, right? Well, that's what I thought originally. But then my entire opinion on the teachers changed. For it was by some chance, that as I looked through the legs of my attackers, I happened to catch a glimpse of the row of windows behind them.
It was through those very windows that my eyes came in contact with the eyes of Mr Sotomura. He was my Years Science teacher. He was a fairly short, overweight man. But he seemed kind. At least, that's what I thought until a few seconds later. For as our eyes met, my hidden behind a row of legs, and his behind glass windows, I, for a moment, showed a glimmer of hope on my face. Finally, a teacher had witnessed what had been happening to me for so long and was going to do something about it.
Sure, it'd be embarrassing to say I had been saved by a teacher, but in the end, I didn't care if it meant I finally had someone in my life who would stand up and help the weak person I was. But then that hope faded as soon as I watched Mr. Sotomura lower his head and continue walking through the halls of the science lab, as if he had never seen me. Actually, now that I think back to it, Mr. Sotomura didn't even lower his head. He just kept walking after looking at me. That's probably what annoyed me the most. He didn't even show any remorse for what was happening to me. He just acted like he saw nothing... Like everyone else in this damn school and world do.
Bully #4: "Alright, I got my phone working. Get to the beating!"
Bully #1: "Haha! You're nuts, man!"
Bully #4: "Oh! Hold up, I got an ad on my phone--Oh, it's a half-off coupon."
Bully #3: "To where?"
Bully #4: "Some noodle shop in the city."
Bully #1: "Oh! Let's go there after school!"
Tsubasa: "Hey! Teach the perv a lesson first!"
Even when they were beating me up, they still didn't fully focus on me. It only laid more shame to what was already a shameful life. All the while I just have to lay here and take it. I stood no chance against such strong guys. What made it worse was as they kicked and punched me, through the pain, I somehow managed to gain eye contact with Tsubasa in the back. The look of an attacked girl was no longer carried by her face. She just stared at me with a smile. She was just using me to see where she stood with these assholes. Worst of all, she's enjoying it!
For the next ten minutes, I was forced through a world of pain. That might not seem like a long time to some, but when you're the person being hurt unlike anything else in the world, then it was an eternity...and eternity of hell. But I pushed through. By the time it was finally over, I lay on the ground and watched as they walked away. Seemingly already forgetting about me as they mentioned about going to that noodle shop after school again. But for me, I didn't wait around for school to finish to leave. As soon as I had the strength to get up, I grabbed my bag from my locker and left without anyone even noticing. Not that they would have noticed anyway.
By the time I did get back home, I was greeted by my Mom, who was clearly shocked to see me home so early. Of course, she asked why I was home. But I just told her a lie that it was a half day at school, and that I was allowed to come home earlier. Thankfully, she bought it. I had already gone through the process of telling Mom my problems with the bullies at school. But no matter how much she screamed at that damn principal, nothing happened. Nothing ever happened. So I decided for the rest of the day I'd remain in my room and let the world pass me by. And I happy with that, that was...Until I heard a knock at the front door.
Knock!
Knock!
Knock!
The sound echoed three times. At first, I didn't pay it any mind. Especially when I heard Mom opening the door. It was only when I heard her mentioning the name of who she was talking to, did I sprung into action.
Nagi: "Oh, (Y/n)! You're back again so soon? I'm so happy!"
Junpei: [Thoughts] "(Y/n)? (Y/n)'s here? No, Mom's going to embarrass me again!"
I say again, because, upon the first time I brought (Y/n) over to my home, Mom had gone out of her way to tell almost every embarrassing story she had about me, to him. And that was something I really didn't want her to do! Not only because it drained every bit of life from my body when she did that, but also because (Y/n) was the coolest person I knew! He liked Lego, and other things I liked.
What made it even better was, he was clearly popular, yet still chose to hang out with me! I mean, the first time I met him, he had two really pretty girls by his side. One of them even bought Lego for him! The girls I always knew called Lego lame, and laughed at me when I had it. But there just seemed to be something about (Y/n) that made having Lego cool. That was only one of the many things that made me excited that someone like him wanted to be my friend.
But I'm sure he'd be second-guessing that after whatever embarrassing thing my Mom decided to do now that he was here. That why I wasted not even a second before I launched off my bed and charged toward the front door in hopes of stopping my Mom from saying anything stupid. Of course, just as I turned the corner to properly confirm that it was (Y/n) she was talking to, I had unintentionally caused the embarrassment to begin.
Junpei: "Mom, who are you talking to--"
Nagi: "Oh, Junpei, dear! (Y/n) has come back to play Legos with you! Isn't that great?"
Junpei: "Mom! What did I tell you? When you're my age it's not called...playing...anymore. Especially with Legos..."
Nagi: "Oh, right..." [Fake mocking tone] "...It's called hanging out--Even though that's really just playing together nonetheless."
Junpei: "Mom--You're embarrassing me! Stop it, please!"
Nagi: "Embarssing you...?" [Suddenly smiles] "I have no idea what you're talking about, Jun-pea!"
As soon as Mom called me that stupid nickname she knew I didn't like, my mind broke. To the point, my eye began to twitch slightly. It only got worse when I saw (Y/n) slightly chuckle. Added on by my Mom's laughter. By this point, I hadn't even noticed the boy who was standing beside (Y/n). Whoever he was, he just looked on in confusion. Both his attention and (Y/n)'s were soon directed elsewhere when the sound of the door slamming shut echoed through the air. All thanks to me, in a desperate attempt to end the embarrassment before it killed me. However when it was all over, and I was forced to lift my gaze to (Y/n) and his friend, all I could do was groan in annoyance.
Junpei: "I swear, if she wasn't my Mother...I would..." [Sighs] "...I'd do nothing."
I swear... Every day feels the same. It always feels the same... But when after a few seconds of just staring at each other, (Y/n) finally smiled at me, silently stating that he still didn't find me weird, I knew that was some parts of life that I could enjoy. And being friends with (Y/n) was one of them...
[Your POV]
--Present--
Itadori: "Oooooh! I want this one! And this one! Oh! This one too! And this one! And this one! And this one!"
You know the pain you get when you're walking with your parent through a shopping mall, and you pass by the toy store and you want to go inside, but your parent says no, and you basically feel like killing yourself right then and there? Well, as you get older, you come to understand why parents do that. They do it because either they don't have enough money to buy you a toy, and they don't want you to get a false sense of hope knowing how you'd feel once you realize you can't get anything.
Or because you've already been a little shit for most of the day and they know taking you in there will only end in a wave of anger and annoyance when you find out you indeed can't get anything. Well, I'm starting to understand where those parents are coming from. Especially right now, as I stand in a particular part of Japan's Lego store, drinking a smoothie, as I watch Itadori's eyes sparkle as he states which Lego sets he wants. And spoiler alert...It was all of them.
Itadori: "Oh, this one has a cool spaceship! And this one has a cool Viking ship! Oh! Oh! This one's a castle!"
Honestly, if you asked me right now if Itadori was a four-year-old trapped in a teenager's body, I'd probably agree with such. But seeing as no one asked me that, I kept it to myself. The only response came from Junpei, who stood beside me, as we both watched Itadori.
Junpei: [Chuckles] "Itadori is really funny, isn't he? He's acting like he's never had Legos before."
(Y/n): "Probably because he hasn't."
Junpei: "Huh? Hasn't?"
(Y/n): "O-Oh, um...Uh..."
I only realized what I said after it was too late. By this point, Junpei was looking at me in confusion. As for me, I was struggling with what to say. Only because I knew that the reason Itadori hasn't had legos before was because he didn't really have the greatest of upbringings. All I knew was that his Father wasn't in his life anymore, and his Mom, well...He doesn't really know anything about her. The only family member in his life was his Grandpa.
But when he died...He had no one. So the matter of having Legos as a kid was something he could only ponder in his head. I remember as soon as I heard that from him, I felt terrible. Though it kinda of explained why he looked up to me so much. I think he saw me as a Father figure/big brother, and honestly, I was cool with that. Though, being the Big Bro (Y/n) that I was, it meant sometimes I had to lay down the rules, and be tough on little Itadori.
(Y/n): "Alright, Itadori, we're gonna go get some lunch now. So put the Legos back on the shelf so the nice workers don't have to, and let's get going."
Itadori: "W-What? No! I don't want lunch! I wanna keep looking at the legos!"
(Y/n): "I know." [Crouches down] "But if we keep looking at the Legos, how are we going to fill that stomach of yours?"
I asked with a soft smile as I crouched down in front of Itadori. It was as I said this, his stomach started grumbling, showcasing that he was in need of food. But this only caused Itadori to lower his head in sadness.
Itadori: "...But I want Legos?"
(Y/n): "Do you have any money for Legos?"
Itadori: "No..."
I felt sad for Itadori but knew there wasn't much to be done about it. It probably wouldn't have affected me much if he hadn't proceeded to follow his pouty action by looking up at me with the brightest of puppy dog eyes brought along with words that matched.
Itadori: [Puppy dog eyes] "...But can't you get me some?"
(Y/n): "H-Huh? What...Y-You want...You want me to get you some?"
Itadori: [Puppy dog eyes] "Please..?"
Shit! He knew how to get at my heartstrings. I didn't have enough money to spend on Legos right now. Thankfully...I have been trained for this moment by a group of people who had perfected the art of puppy dog eyes...GIRLS!
(Y/n): "H-Ha. You're gonna have to try better than that, Itadori. Both Maki and Nobara have b-better puppy dog eyes...then..."
Itadori: "Please...?"
(Y/n): [Struggling] "...Then..."
Itadori: "...Please..."
(Y/n): "...Then..."
Itadori: "...Please...Big Bro (Y/n)?"
(Y/n): [Struggling more] "...Then..." [Thoughts] "No. (Y/n)! You have to stay strong! I-It doesn't matter that he thinks of you as a big brother... I-It doesn't...it doesn't matter..."
Though, Itadori did try to sway that opinion as he looked up at me with the cutest faces a person wanting something could muster. He had everything! From the hopeful eyes, to the adorable smile that showed off his boyish charm. It attacked me right at the heartstrings...But I'd remain strong! I wouldn't fall! I'm a Jujutsu Sorcerer! Nothing like this would--
(Y/n): "...You can have one."
Itadori: "Yay! Big Bro (Y/n) is getting me Legos!"
(Y/n): [Sobbing silently] "I'm weak...I'm pathetic..."
I was left to soap in my defeat in public. Though, that public was mainly Junpei, who just struggled to comprehend what was going on. Thankfully, he said nothing about it. Now, we'd be able to just leave after I bought Itadori's two Lego sets and--Wait! Two?!"
(Y/n): [Turns to Itadori] "Itadori! How many Lego sets did you grab?"
Itadori: "H-Huh? Oh! Um...One?" [Chuckles nervously] "Just like you said...'
If the nervous smile on his face wasn't enough to give him away, the fact that he took a little while to hide the second lego set behind his back was enough to do so. I knew from the quick glance that I had taken of the Lego set he hid behind his back that it cost about the same as the original Lego set that Itadori had chosen to get. All together both would cost about fifty dollars. Unfortunately, fifty dollars was all I had, and I still needed to get lunch, so I was forced to put my foot down.
(Y/n): "Itadori! I told you, you could get one Lego set! Not two! Go put the other one back."
Itadori: "W-What? Why? It's just two Legos. It doesn't cost that much!"
(Y/n): "It does so, thank you very much. I still have to buy you and me lunch. Remember? So go put one back."
Itadori: "But--"
(Y/n): "Butts, are for moving. So why don't you move yours back to where you got that second Lego set, mister."
It was clear Itadori wasn't exactly happy with me right now, especially going off how instantly proceeded to cross his arms and narrow his gaze at me. I could have handled this, if it weren't for my ears managing to pick up the words he grumbled under his breath just before he went to leave.
Itadori: [Grumbles] "...Stupid mean Big Bro (Y/n)...Not letting me get the two Legos I want..."
(Y/n): "What was that I just heard?" [Turns to Itadori] "Hmm?"
Itadori: [Looking to the side] "I said nothing..."
(Y/n): "Yeah, right! You wanna repeat you words, young man?"
Itadori: [Groans] "Gugh! I said nothing!" [Mutters] "You just can't hear because you're just old..."
(Y/n): [Shock] "Old?! I'm only a year older than you!"
Itadori: "Yeah...Older...duh."
(Y/n): "Oh. So that's how you wanna play it, huh? You know, Itadori, you won't be able to survive in life if you don't understand one thing..."
Itadori: "And what's that? Don't get old?"
(Y/n): "...It's that you can't always get everything you want in life! Whether it be nice clothes! Your girlfriend being nice to you! And especially Legos! You can't just get Legos because you want them..."
Junpei: [In the background] "Oh, look, (Y/n). They have the Lego Death Star you really want! Oh...It's still expensive though."
It was in this very moment that I used all the speed I could muster thanks to my cursed energy to immediately grab both Junpei and Itadori and pulled them into a huddle. Shock and confusion marked their faces, but I cared not. This was a life-or-death situation.
(Y/n): "Alright. Here's the plan. Junpei, you look sickly, right?"
Junpei: "Um--"
(Y/n): "--I want you to faint on the ground over near the girl's Lego sets. It's in the back of the store where no one ever goes, so with all the staff over there, it'll be a perfect fighting point."
Junpei: "Um...I don't know if I--"
(Y/n): "While you're doing that. I'll grab the Lego Death Star and charge for the exit."
Itadori: [Bouncing up and down] "Oh! Oh! What am I doing?! (Y/n)! What's my job?"
(Y/n): [Chuckles and grins] "I'm glad you asked, Itadori. You've got the most important job. If when I'm running towards the exit, and you see someone in the way. I don't care whether it's a worker, parent, kid, or sick grandma. It's your job to tackle them out of my way and clear a path for the exit!"
Itadori: "Tackle sick grandma! Got it!"
(Y/n): "Alright, team! Let's get this shit done!"
A few moments later, however, I found out the world was not a kind place. Not only did Junpei do a terrible fainting act, leaving the workers just confused, and not worried in the first place. But I also found out that the Lego Death Star set on the shelf wasn't even the real thing! IT WAS JUST A DISPLAY BOX! THEY HAD THE REAL ONE OUT THE BACK! Now I was left to punch at the air as Junpei, Itadori, and I reluctantly walked through the busy streets of Tokyo's city district.
(Y/n): "I know there's a way to get out the back! I just know it! Oh! Itadori, everyone at school thinks you're dead! Get a job at the Lego store so you can get me to back!"
Itadori: [Smiles innocently] "Okay!"
Junpei: "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! You guys can't be serious, right?" [Shakes head and realizes] "Wait! Did you just say people at your school think Itadori is dead?" [Turns to Itadori] "Is that true, Itadori?"
Itadori: "Oh, trust me. It's a long story. Best not to worry about it."
Junpei: [Thoughts] "He just waved it off like that?!" [Out Loud] "Um...O-Okay."
(Y/n): [Chuckles] "Itadori is right, Junpei. Best to just ignore it. Let's just say a bunch of weird shit happens at our school. Honestly, it sucks."
Junpei: [Smiles softly] "Yeah...I bet it's still better than mine though..."
As soon as Junpei had said those words, any thoughts of expressions that had previously consumed the minds of both myself and Itadori disappeared. A single glance was all it took to see the sorrow overwhelm Junpei's face, as he lowered his head and walked off ahead of us. Instantly, both Itadori and myself stopped walking and just watched Junpei continue moving. I had gone completely silent by this point, left with many thoughts upon hearing just that one sentence. It was as my eyes followed Junpei's shallow figure through the busy sidewalk ahead, eventually disappearing by the abundance of a crowd, that Itadori slowly came to my side. Just like my own expression now carried, a wave of sympathy also appeared on Itadori's own.
Itadori: "Is everything alright with Junpei? He seems upset."
(Y/n): "Yeah...He does, doesn't he?"
Itadori: "What do you think the matter is?"
It only took me a second to realize what the problem was. I knew what the face of someone being bullied looked like. I had lived through that experience over and over again. I think it only took me a second to realize what it was that was coming from Junpei because for the last few years, minus my imprisonment in an empty void, I had finally managed to find some really great friends. But seeing Junpei carry this aura around him. A dark cloud of fear and sorrow. I remembered that not everyone is lucky like I was.
That there were still people who went through shit like this. Honestly, the slightest thought about it was enough for my mind to take me down my own rabbit hole of events I had lived through. The majority of which came from my time at Kyoto's Jujutsu High. Honestly, thinking back on it now. I still don't understand why they treated me the way they did. All I ever tried was to be nice to them. But sometimes, all it takes is a single look to realize that being nice isn't for it.
--One Year Ago | Kyoto Jujutsu High--
Utahime: "Today we have a new student joining us. He was a little late in getting in. So he's a few weeks behind the rest of you. Nevertheless, he was allowed entry due to his relationship with a certain Sorcerer clan."
"Which clan is he with?"
"Doesn't matter which clan he's with! I bet he's a punk! And a cocky one at that! Hmph! Loser better watch out...Or I'll hurt him."
"That's rather violent, don't you think?"
"Shut up, Robot!"
Utahime: "Enough! Enough! To answer your question, Miwa, he's from... The Gojo clan."
"WHAT?!"
The scream of shock was so loud, honestly, I can't recall whether I felt like that was a good thing or not. All I remember was the sound of my beating chest getting louder and louder as I stood outside my classroom. Well, it would be my classroom. This was my first day, so, I had yet to actually see it. But still... A-Anyway, I guess I probably shouldn't really be focused on the room as much as I should be on the actual people inside of it. I knew, for one, that Utahime was there. I had met her once for an interview I had with the school before I could be accepted. As she already mentioned to everyone in the room, I was a few weeks behind in enrolling compared to the others.
Mainly due to the fact I didn't want to come here at all. But my Mom pushed for it. Saying I would come to like it over time. But that was all her. Then again, all of this was all her. It was because of her that I even managed to get an interview so late into the term. Though, I guess you get some power when you're a well-known sorcerer. Both with schools and your children. I knew as soon as Mom brought up the idea of coming to this school, that there was nothing I could really do to change her mind. I guess that's why I find myself here now.
Aimless standing outside a classroom waiting to be called inside to introduce myself. Now, I was already nervous before. But after hearing the verbal abuse thrown my way already by one person inside...and the fact that there seemed to be a robot or someone called a robot in there, it was definitely a fifty-fifty for first impressions. Then again, I guess I shouldn't really be surprised I'm nervous. I mean, I am a teenager. Nerves are like the pinnacle of a teenager's life. It's like whereas so many other people may outweigh me in Cursed Energy, I know for a fact I outweigh them in nerves. Is that a good thing? Probably not... But at least I was winning at something, right?
Utahime: "(Y/n), would you like to come in now?"
(Y/n): "H-Huh?!"
I guess I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't even notice that the door to the classroom had opened. Upon turning to it, I made eye contact with the person who would be my teacher from here on out. I had only met Utahime once before, due to my interview, but she seemed nice. And whilst I don't think she smiled a lot, or liked a lot of people from my clan, she still seemed to be alright. Nevertheless, her presence was doing very little to hide my inner fears. And the full length of that was revealed in less than a minute. When I finally managed the courage to push my back off the wall and slowly walk into the classroom.
I remember in the nanoseconds that took place before my head entered the room, that I wondered what exactly my classmates would look like. The good news was I knew there was only three other First Years, so it didn't take a lot of effort for my mind to picture what they may look like. But whatever my mind managed to think up of in that moment, it was nowhere near what they looked like in reality. I mean, as soon as I entered the room I was left reeling in the shock when I saw a literal robot was sitting in one of the chairs. Yet, despite being a robot, he seemed to be made up of wood. He even wore a Jujutsu High uniform.
(Y/n): [Thoughts] "...That person literally meant an actual robot when she said it, huh? Crap...And here I thought they may be a really geeky nerd in here. Thought I stood an actual chance..."
Now, when I first saw the robot. I thought that would be the thing that'd keep my attention span for the rest of the day. I mean, how in the hell can someone walk into a classroom and see something more out of place then a literal working robot?! There was nothing I could think of! But all it took was a few seconds for my head to shift to the seat next to the robot, for my thoughts to immediately abandon the mechanism. For right across from...him, sat a very pretty girl with short black hair. Honestly, I think I realized in that moment that I had a type. Especially when I eventually arrived at Tokyo's branch of Jujutsu High.
But in the current moment, I was left to immediately blush when my eyes came in contact with this girl. I had never seem someone quite as pretty as her before. There was something about how her smooth skin perfectly matched her sharp glare and deep eyes that made her stand out instantly. And not just because I was a wimpy teen who'd feel this way for any girl I came in contact with. But in the few seconds that followed, as she came to notice my eyes truly were locked onto her own, the deepness in her eyes that carried an already sharp glare, progressed into an even sharper version, as she widely barked my senses back to reality.
"What the hell are you looking at, Perv? You wanna get kicked in the balls?!"
(Y/n): "U-Uh...N-No. No!" [Bows instantly] "I'm sorry! I-I didn't mean to offend you, I--"
"Yeah. That's what I thought..." [Mutters] "Pfft! He really is a punk."
(Y/n): [Thoughts] "Punk?! I'm not a Punk! I'm the exact opposite of a punk!"
Honestly, thinking back to it now, I realize just how alike both Maki, and the person I'd soon come to know was named Mai, truly were. You could only imagine my shock when I found out they were sisters. Huh, I am both attracted to hot scary women that can yell at me for absolutely nothing... I wonder if the sister thing plays into any of that?
Utahime: "Mai! That was uncalled for!"
Mai: "What? It's not my fault he's a punk!"
Utahime: "You don't even know him."
Mai: "Exactly! And I can already tell he's a punk."
I don't think that was how it works. But either Utahime didn't think that way, or she just couldn't bother to continue the conversation, because instead of saying anything to deny such, she simply sighed, shook her head, and moved onto other questions. Like, literally...
Utahime: [Sighs] "Do we have any other questions from the class? Or can I continue on wit--"
"Do you know Gojo?"
(Y/n): "Huh?"
Utahime: "Hmm?"
Without anything blocking me, my eyes quickly shifted across the room, to the final person seated. She sat next to Mai. Though, unlike Mai. This girl seemed to have much kinder eyes. Her hair was also light blue, and you don't see that a lot, so it stood out instantly. She also seemed a lot nicer, especially as she smiled at me as she waited for me to answer. Unfortunately, my mind was kinda focused on how there could be someone so mean in the room, yet exactly right next to them there was someone who outweighed the meanness in it to make it balanced, that I forgot what she asked in the first place.
(Y/n): "...S-Sorry?"
Mai: [Scoffs] "Great. He's one of those punks who get light headed from even seeing a girl." [Speaking directly to you] "Have you even seen a pair of tits, Perv?"
(Y/n): [Blushes] "W-What?! I...Uh..."
Utahime: "Mai!"
Mai: "Yeah, yeah..."
Honestly, that question alone probably would have thrown me for a loop for the rest of the time I spent at this school. Though, now that I think back on it, I think its because of the reaction I made in that very moment that led Mai to further tease me in such ways for the rest of my stay at the school. Especially when I noticed a wicked grin spread across her lips. It was like, in that one moment, she knew I'd become her personal plaything to bring her happiness. But, in a surprising twist, the girl with blue hair didn't seem to focus on what Mai said, as she simply repeated her question without hesitation.
"Do you know Gojo?"
This time around it came in a softer form. Though, I could still sense the eagerness in her question. I went to look at her once more, ready to answer, but when my eyes reached hers...I kinda found myself unable to speak. I don't exactly know what it was. Like, something about the bubbliness around her personality that I got from the smile on her face made me smile. And I very rarely smiled during this period of my life. It was in that very moment, of a girl simply smiling at me, that I did what every lonely teenager did. I pictured our wedding day where we'd be surrounded by friends and family.
All the while, our kids played in the background as me and unnamed blue-haired girl danced with smiles on our faces. Honestly, it was a lot to think about abruptly. But that just goes to show how sad my life was back then. Though, I probably wouldn't have gone that far if I knew that any smile she currently carried wasn't directed at me, but Gojo. Yeah...Miwa was kinda a massive fan for my cousin. Heck! So much so when she came to realize I was nothing like him, she never really looked at me the same way she did now. Like, she was still nice and all. But you could tell she just did that out of kindness...
Despite the rough patches I came to face in these first few minutes of meeting my new classmates, I still held out a slither of hope that maybe coming here was the right thing to do. But any such thoughts like that were soon shunned elsewhere when I met the second-year students a little bit later whilst I was walking through the halls of the school trying to search for the bathroom. Now, I didn't exactly need to go to the bathroom. But the amount of pressure I was feeling for my first day alone was something my weak mindset couldn't handle at the time. So I really just needed some time to myself. However, as I was searching for the bathroom, a trio of voices called out from behind. The voices... Of the second year students.
"Hey, new kid! You're him, right? The one whose starting today?"
As soon as I heard the high pitch female voice, my body froze. I don't know how, it was just like a danger sense was going off inside of me. Even with just hearing one voice, I felt as if three goliaths were behind me. Oh, how little did I know when I answered.
(Y/n): "U-Um...Yeah? I'm new. Hi. My name is--"
It was as I was in the process of turning around, however, that the alarm bells going off inside of my head paid off. For once my eyes fell upon the set of three from the second year students, I came to understand what true fear was. It was in this exact moment that I came to see the strongest of the strong that Kyoto's Jujustu High had to offer. And that came in the form of Aoi Todo, Noritoshi Kamo and Momo Nishimiyo. They all appeared in different shapes and characteristics, but deep down, they all carried a dark aura focused on me. The first one to step forward was someone you guys already know. That being Todo.
I remember the first time I came face to face with him...Well, it was more so face-to-becip, but the point still stands! I felt like I was talking to the human equivalent of King Kong. So much so I thought Todo's first action upon meeting me was going to punch me. I wasn't exactly wrong with that assumption. He proceeded to ask me what my 'type' in women was. I must have given a wrong answer, because immediately afterwards he pulled me into a headlock. What truly made this moment stand out was that whilst I remained in this headlock, the Momo Nishimiyo, the only girl in the second years, took her opportunity to question me.
Momo: "Hey! Hey! I heard you're from the Gojo Clan, that means you're powerful, right?"
(Y/n): "U-Uh, um..." [Struggles to breathe] "W-Well--"
Todo: "Haha! As if! If he was anything like Gojo Satoru, he would have broken free of this headlock ages ago!"
To further prove his point, Todo proceeded to tighten his grip around my neck. He continued to do as Momo looked on in disappointment. But like the cocky type of disappointment, which was only made worse when I realized just how short the blonde-haired girl was. Out of everyone in this school, Momo seemed the most out of place. Well, going off looks anyway. Eh...Maybe I'd beat her in that regard too. Momo was rather short.
Only being 4'11 in height with a very youthful appearance. She had blonde hair tied into two pig-tails tied at the base and ends that point upwards and pale blue eyes. Both her ears were pierced with two earrings, she also wore a collar on her neck. By her side was her signature broom, befitting her witch-like appearance. Though at the time I just thought she carried it around to hit people. Like she did to me on a few occasions following this introduction.
Momo: [Sighs] "Seriously. The principal goes on and on about how he wants to beat Tokyo in the exchange event. And yet he accepts losers like this guy. Now we're never going to win."
As soon as I heard that, my heart dropped. Despite the arm still wrapped around my neck, I did my best to change her opinion of me.
(Y/n): [Whilst struggling] "N-No! Please! I promise...I'll try my best with whatever you ask of me! I...I won't let you down!"
Momo: "Hmm? Won't let us down?"
She asked as she tilted her head. For a moment, I held out hope for the best. That was...Before a wicked grin crossed Momo's face. Truly signifying her witch-like persona to me.
Momo: [Grins wickedly] "...But you already have."
Honestly, in that moment, I thought I might die. If not from Todo's chokehold, it'd be from the words of Momo. I don't know, just getting told from someone that you already let them down, especially when you as a person was already going through shit, definitely didn't help. In that one moment, I came to realize that my time at Kyoto would be no fun. Maybe it would be better if I died in this moment. But to my surprise, I didn't. Even more of a surprise was when my saviour came in the form of the only other Third Year, Noritoshi Kamo.
Noritoshi: "Let him go, Todo."
Todo: "Huh?"
Noritoshi was the tallest in the entire school, well, minus Todo. So that allowed the pair to come face to face quite easily. Though, to add even more mystic to his appearance, he even had grey-coloured eyes. Which is like serious shitballs if you think about it! The dude was already handsome as fuck, plus he had a cool demeanour about him that leaked mystery. So, of course, he had to have badass coloured eyes because why not! Though, even with this unique trait, Noritoshi normally kept them completely shut. Simply allowing the black hair that was parted on either side of his face to further enhance his appearance.
Noritoshi: "You heard me. Let him go."
Todo: "Why? You like him or something?"
Noritoshi: "How I feel about him does not matter. What matters is the opinion you are leaving on our school. That...I do not like."
Honestly, it was rather weird being in the middle of this conversation whilst having my head in a chokehold. All I could do whilst struggling to breathe was watch as these two giants spoke back and forth. Eventually, after some words exchanged between them was processed, Todo eventually relented on his chokehold and my body dropped to the floor. A good twenty seconds was spent on my part catching my breathe and coughing. During this time, Todo released a few more mutters under his breathe whilst Momo grumbled annoyance under hers before they both walked away. This just left me alone with Noritoshi. My first action upon looking up at him with a weak smile was to thank him. Though, as like most of this day, it didn't go as planned.
(Y/n): T-Thanks for the help. I really owe you on--"
Noritoshi: "Leave this school."
His words were direct, with force, and without contemplation on what they'd do to me. This was the first time I saw Noritoshi open his eyes. And trust me...when a pair of grey eyes are glaring at you. It's something you don't forget easily.
(Y/n): "Uh...I'm sorry? I don't think I understand properly."
Noritoshi: "What isn't there to understand? Leave. Leave this school and don't come back."
(Y/n): "U-Um, well--"
Noritoshi: "You said you owe me one. Then I'll use it for you to leave. I may have helped you from Todo. But that's only because I don't want him to ruin this school's image." [Narrows gaze at you] "The same way I don't want you here to ruin its image as well. We don't need weak people holding us back. Momo was right...for once."
I didn't exactly know what to think about in this moment. I wanted to be angry. To yell at these people for treating me like crap when I did nothing to them. But I was too weak to even do that. So I kept my words inside and merely lowered my head. Noritoshi must have taken this as confirmation to his sentence or something, as he, too, proceeded to walk away after this. But me...I simply remained on the ground for a while longer. Wondering. Questioning. Just why I was here. Why my Mom wanted me here. But that seemed to be a question I wouldn't get answered for awhile...
--Present--
(Y/n): [Mumbles] "Life's funny, huh?"
Itadori: "Hmm?"
(Y/n): "You often go through hard times thinking no one can relate to you. Yet, you'd be surprised by just how many are like you. Though, now that you've gotten through that moment, and you see someone else going through the same. You've gotta ask yourself... What am I going to do now?"
I could tell Itadori was still confused as to what I was talking about. And honestly, I couldn't really blame him. In the end, as the two of us stood in the middle of the crowded walkway, I just turned to him and laughed it off. This still left Itadori confused. But before he could say anything, our senses were directed back in the crowded path ahead of us when a voice bringing bad aura entered the air.
"Well~ Well~ Well~ If it isn't Pussy Junpei. Didn't think we'd see you again so soon. In the same day, no less! It must be fate..."
(Y/n): "Huh?"
Instantly, both Itadori and I turned in the direction of the voice. Somehow, despite the crowd, we were able to set our gazes on a group of four male students and one female student standing outside a noodle shop. But it wasn't the location that sparked Itadori and I's worry. It was who they were talking to.
[3rd Person POV]
Slam!
A loud bang thundered through the air surrounding the tiny noodle shop set alongside the busy sidewalk within Tokyo. But despite the busy activity there seemed to be enough place for a scene to take place right outside this building. It was this very scene that caused the loud noise to go off. The person responsible being none other than one of Junpei's bullies. To be precise, it was the one who was questioning him earlier about whether he was looking at his classmate's breasts. But if that one moment was anything to go off of, this encounter right now wouldn't end any better. Especially with this bully's arm resting against the wooden wall of the noodle shop, which Junpei's body was currently backed up against. This left only a few inches of space between Junpei's frightened gaze and his bully's snarky grin.
Bully #1: "Well, Pussy Junpei? Were you really just going to walk past without saying hi to us?"
The question seemed simple. Yet, despite that. It left Junpei's inner consciousness shaking for mercy. He didn't know what to do. To the point, all he could do was mumble.
Junpei: "I-I-I-I--"
Bully #1: "Hmm? What was that?"
Junpei: "I-I--"
Bully #2: "Haha! I think you broke him!"
Bully #3: "All he can do is stutter like a coward!"
Junpei: "I-I-I--"
Bully #4: "He's really pathetic, isn't he?"
By this point, Junpei had just decided to seal his lips entirely. This did enough to stop the stuttering. But it was as he did so that he opened his eyes. However, this led him to come face to face with the frightening gazes of his bullies. From the males to even Tsubasa, the girl who got him beat up earlier. All five stared down at Junpei like they were monsters. Honestly, in this moment, they seemed exactly like that.
Monsters surrounded by dark aura. This only scared Junpei more, to the point he just wanted to hide away. He wanted all of this to stop. But he was too weak to handle them. He was too weak to do anything... Lucky for him. He knew someone who knew far too well what it was like to be stuck in a corner with nothing but fear shoved down their throat. Unlucky for the bullies, however, this person was (Y/n)...
"What's going on here, huh? Looks fun!"
Junpei: [Eyes burst open] "Huh?"
Bully #1: "What?"
Other Bullies: "Hmm?!"
In one motion, the faces of all four male bullies, Tsubasa, the female bully, and Junpei, turned in the direction of the voice to see none other than (Y/n) (L/n) himself standing there with a smile on his face. It was in this moment...That Junpei didn't know what the fuck was going on.
(Y/n): [Smiles] "Whatcha doin' wasting time with this loser, huh?"
The unexpected response from this complete stranger left the group of bullies confused. Momentarily taking their focus off Junpei.
Bully #1: "Huh?! Who is this guy?"
Bully #2: "I don't know him."
Bully #3: "Neither do I."
Bully #4: "Do you know him Tsubasa?"
Instantly, the attention of the only girl present was directed towards the group of bullies.
Tsubasa: "Huh? No. I don't know him..."
Slowly her focus switched to (Y/n). However, as soon as her eyes landed on his face, Tsubasa couldn't help but blush suddenly. Followed by her head slowly dropping and a smile creeping onto her lips when she noticed (Y/n) turn in her direction, offering a softer smile of the one he already had on display.
Tsubasa: [Blushes & Smiles] "...But I wish I did."
(Y/n): "Huh?"
This announcement caused most of the bullies to be confused and perplexed. Whilst (Y/n) just looked at her inquisitively. However, his focus was soon directed back to the scene with Junpei, who was still pressed against the wall by the main bully. In fact, it was the main bully's voice that caught (Y/n)'s attention to be redirected back to the location in the first place.
Bully #1: "Whoever he is, forget him! Though, at least he's smart enough to spot a loser." [Grins at Junpei] "Isn't that right, Pussy Junpei?"
Of course, no response came. But, surprisingly. It wasn't just out of fear. In fact, it had nothing to do with fear of the sort that caused the lack of response from the imprisoned Junpei. Instead, it solely revolved around the words (Y/n) had just said moments ago. Words that Junpei's bully had just alluded to.
"Whatcha doin' wasting time with this loser, huh?"
As soon as he heard the words leave (Y/n)'s mouth, Junpei was flooded with shock. The feeling only grew deeper as the smile remained strong on (Y/n)'s face as he said these words whilst looking directly at Junpei. This caused Junpei's heart to sink into an abyss. A world full of misery. As he thought (Y/n)'s words were directed at him.
Junpei: [Thoughts] "L-Loser...? (Y/n) thinks I'm a loser..."
In this very moment, Junpei thought that his world had come crashing down. He finally thought he had a friend. A cool friend. Then again, Junpei really did think (Y/n) was cool...So it shouldn't really be much of a surprise that someone as cool as him wouldn't want to actually be friends. At least, that's what Junpei thought. As for the bullies, especially the one currently pushing Junpei against the wall of the noodle shop, despite not knowing (Y/n). They couldn't help but laugh and cackle wickedly seeing a complete stranger play on Junpei. So much so the main bully of the group couldn't help but rub it in by continuing to laugh wickedly. All the while, (Y/n) began walking the way of Junpei and the main big bad bully.
Bully #1: "Haha! Ya hear that, Pussy Junpei? You really are a loser! So much so even a complete stranger recognises it! What do you have to say about that, huh?!"
Like before, no response came. Junpei just kept his head low as his bully scoffed in his face. The moment of despair only seemed to grow, until...
"Actually... I was talking to Junpei when I said that."
Bully #1: "Huh?"
Junpei: "Huh?"
(Y/n): [To Junpei] "Like, honestly, dude. Why do you waste your time with idiots like this when we could be going back to the Lego store to sign Itadori up as a worker." [Smiles] "I mean, I gotta get my Death Star somehow, right?"
No sound escaped Junpei's mouth at this point. Solely because it was completely out of character for his life in terms of losing all hope, only for it to suddenly be restored. Like, he honestly thought (Y/n) thought he was a loser. But his words just now, added on by the smile, brought his fears to a halt. Though, it did seem to annoy the bully currently standing in front of Junpei.
Bully #1: "What the fuck! Who do you think you're talking to, fuckhead? You better watch yoursel--"
In the same moment, the bully went to talk, he was abruptly silenced by (Y/n) casually shoving him to the ground with a single hand. He didn't even put much cursed energy into the motion. He just pushed him hard enough that the main bully stumbled to the side and fell on the ground to the left of (Y/n)'s and Junpei's current position.
(Y/n): [To the Bully] "The only one who needs to watch themself, is you, bucko." [Smiles] "I mean, look at yourself! Tripping all over the place and now you're lying on the ground like an idiot!"
Bully #1: "Idiot?!"
He screamed in anger. But (Y/n) just laughed.
(Y/n): "Haha! Hey, look, Junpei! The idiot can repeat his own words!"
This only caused the Bully to get even more pissed off. But (Y/n) seemed to care very little, as he just simply turned his attention back to Junpei. Even as Junpei watched his bully shun his friends to the side as he got to his feet by himself.
(Y/n): "So...Why do you hang out with that loser? I thought you'd rather hang out with cool people like yourself?"
That one sentence broke Junpei from his bully, however. Now he just stared at (Y/n) in both shock and wonder as he repeated the last part of what his friend had just said.
Junpei: "...You think I'm cool?"
(Y/n): "Of course, I think you're cool! You're, like, one of the coolest people I know! Plus, you like Lego. So that's an automatic pass for me!" [Turns to his right] "Right, Itadori?"
"Yep!"
Turning in the direction (Y/n) had just spoken to, Junpei came to see Itadori standing some five meters away with a phone in his hand filming the scene currently going down. This confused Junpei at first, that was until out of nowhere from the left, the bully who had now returned to his fist came flying towards (Y/n) with a clenched fist drawn backwards.
Bully #1: "The only cool person here...Is me!"
His entire body came zooming towards (Y/n) as the bully prepared to fight. But (Y/n), you see, was him. So all it took was a simple glance to his left to avoid the first punch. All done by pulling his head back slightly. When the Bully went for his second punch, (Y/n) this time decided to grab the fist straight forward. The amount of pressure he put into this action was enough to stop the bully from moving altogether. Which, of course, shocked the brainless musclehead beyond anything else. All the while (Y/n) just stared at him like he was looking at a disappointed child.
(Y/n): "You know, I've always wondered just how cool someone is when they tend to call themself cool... Now I've got my answer! They're not very cool at all!" [Smiles] "Thanks for confirming that though! Appreciate it!"
Bully #1: "What the f--"
(Y/n): "Your sacrifice will not be forgotten..." [Smirks] "...And you most certainly won't forget this~"
All the bully could do was raise an eyebrow in confusion. Seconds later, a stray shot from (Y/n)'s own right fist came flying out of the corner of the bully's left eye. He was only able to capture the moment for mere seconds before the collision went off. (Y/n)'s fist pushed as far into the cheekbone of this bully as it could. The force alone enough to send the bully back to the ground once more. This time, he definitely wouldn't get up without help. In fact, all he could really do was open his eyes as he dealt with the wave of pain coursing through his body. Yet, despite the pain, he was still able to take in the blurry figure of (Y/n)'s face looming over his body.
(Y/n): "Now then, if you don't want to be embarrassed like that in front of your little friends again, how about you leave Junpei alone...For good. In fact! Why don't you all go out of your way to make sure no one else bullies him too. Okay?"
Bully #1: [Dazed] "...Argh..."
(Y/n): [Smiles] "Good! ...Oh! And start calling him by his proper name, too, huh?" [Grows serious] "Because if I hear about you calling him anything but 'Junpei' then I'll do a whole lot more than steal your girlfriend."
Bully #1: [Dazed] "...Girl...Friend..."
It was clear that the bully wasn't even saying that as a question. That was just the only word he could properly mutter through the pain that ripped his mouth apart. Though, the other bullies present, ones who were too fearful to go up against (Y/n), seemed to understand what was being said by the aforementioned male when they turned to Tsubasa to see her blushing even harder now. The hands on her cheeks did their best to hide it, and the lovestruck gaze that covered her face. But nothing worked.
About a minute later, the sight of the bullies running away with their dazed friend could be seen. Behind them, Tsubasa, still holding her cheeks, walked as fast as she could out of nerves from being around (Y/n) too long. All of this happened as a large crowd had formed in the surrounding area due to the initial conflict. Of course, no one said anything due to what they just witnessed from (Y/n). Not that (Y/n) would care if they even did. Instead, he just kept his happy smile already present on his face as Junpei struggled to comprehend what just happened.
(Y/n): "Well than! Haha! That was something, huh, Junpei?"
Junpei: [Turns to you] "(Y-Y/n)...I--"
(Y/n): "...Hey. Don't you listen to them, okay?"
Junpei's voice was silenced by (Y/n) placing a hand on his shoulder and offered a much more comforting look compared to the natural smile he just had. But in a way, this look he currently offered Junpei did more for the young boy than any smile could in this moment.
(Y/n): "They might say all the shit they won't, and trust me, I know what it's like to have shit spoken to you. Especially when what's said to you makes you feel like you're nothing." [Chuckles lightly] "I also know what I'm about to say is totally a cliche...But it gets better. It really does."
Junpei: [Smiles softly] "Pfft...Yeah right..."
(Y/n): "It's true. I mean, I was a loser once. Heh...I guess I still am in the eyes of some."
This notion seemed to shock Junpei...and Itadori.
Itadori: "What?! Who thinks you're a loser, Big Bro? They must be crazy or something..."
Instantly, (Y/n) and Junpei turned to Itadori to see the young boy just smiling innocently at them. Though, when he noticed they were both looking at him. All he could do was blink repeatedly.
Itadori: "...What?"
The moment ended in a combined chuckle from Junpei and (Y/n). But that didn't stop the latter from further expressing his point.
(Y/n): [To Junpei] "What I mean is...You may not see it. But I went through shit like bullying for most of my life. Heck! That wasn't even the worst of it. There was a time in my life where I went three years without a single person there to comfort me. It... It really sucked."
That may seem like an understatement, especially for those who knew of (Y/n)'s past. But in a way, (Y/n) believed those were the best words he could use in the moment. Being alone did suck. It felt as if everyone in life that he knew was nothing but a distant memory. He had no one to turn to. He had nothing going for him. Every night he felt like he'd die. And about half way through, he kinda hoped he did at some points. There was just so much (Y/n) wanted to tell Junpei right now. But he couldn't. All he could do was say what he could and hope Junpei would understand, that the life of a teenager wasn't always going to be so bad.
(Y/n): [Sighs & Smiles] "But then things got better. And they will be better. I just needed to wait to meet the right people..." [Turns to Junpei] "...And I think the same is for you, Junpei. You've just gotta meet the right people that will actually show they care for you. I know it might feel like they're not out there...But they are."
Junpei: "...But...But... If they're out there. How am I going to find them?"
(Y/n): [Blankly stares] "...Okay. First off. Ouch." [Chuckles] "And here I thought I was one of the people who was there for you. I even got your bullies to stop bullying you!"
It was safe to say that it did not take long for Junpei to realize his blunder.
Junpei: "(Y/n)! I-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean it like that! I really appreciate what you did for me just now. I-I really do, I just..."
(Y/n): [Chuckles] "It's cool, man. I get it."
Junpei: "Y-You do...?"
The hopeful look in Junpei's eyes was comforted by the smile (Y/n) currently had on display. Seeing that alone made Junpei realize in this moment, just how much he wanted to be like (Y/n). In this moment, he saw just how great (Y/n) was as a person. He didn't have to stand up for Junpei. And Junpei certainly wouldn't blame him if he didn't, especially against four guys who seemed really strong. But (Y/n) didn't back down. He helped his friend. Yes...His friend... Junpei now had no doubt in his mind that (Y/n) truly considered him a friend. And even more surprising...(Y/n) wasn't the only one.
(Y/n): "Besides, I'm not the only one who is your friend. You've also got Itadori here!" [Turns to Itadori] "Oh, Itadori. Did you get enough footage of me being cool?"
Itadori: "Uh, huh! I got all the right angles, (Y/n)!"
(Y/n): "Alright. Cool...Cool..." [Suddenly turns to Junpei] "O-Oh! Uh, sorry, Junpei...Hehe...My girlfriend kinda likes seeing me be a cool person. So I'm gonna send her this video later of me helping you out."
Junpei: "O-Oh...Okay."
(Y/n): "But as for what I was saying before! Itadori is also your friend! Right, Itadori?!"
Itadori: [To Junpei] "Yep! You're pretty cool, Junpei. You like cool things like Lego, and you're funny. So let's get along!"
Junpei: "...Y-Yes...Let's get along..."
The look of disbelief on his face was soon swapped out for one of emotion. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. But it truly did make him happy. A feeling that only grew further once his eyes returned back to that smile (Y/n) had on display.
(Y/n): "And, in fact, Itadori and I aren't the only ones who wanna be your friend. I know a few other people who seem really excited to meet you."
Junpei: "...T-There are...? Wha...What do you mean, I...I don't understand?"
(Y/n): "You don't have to understand. Just say 'Yes' to my next question."
Junpei: "...W-What's your next question...?"
You could tell by his face that he was genuinely excited by wanting to hear it, but was forced to hold it in so he didn't seem weird. Even if a bit of it managed to seep through, (Y/n) didn't seem to mind as he just kept his smile, looked Junpei in the eyes, and proceeded to speak his next set of words.
(Y/n): "...You got any plans for the weekend?"
That one sentence would soon become the only thing Junpei could properly think about for the next few days as he eagerly awaited for the weekend to arrive. He found out soon after from (Y/n) that the event in which he was talking about that he wanted Junpei to come along to, was going to the movies with the other students from (Y/n)'s school. Well, minus Itadori. (Y/n) had to be sure that Itadori didn't hear him mention anything about hanging out with all the others because he knew Itadori would be disappointed. When Junpei asked why, (Y/n) simply brought up the whole 'people at school think Itadori is dead' thing.
Junpei decided to take (Y/n)'s earlier advice on the subject and not go any further with it. Though, (Y/n) did make sure to mention to Itadori that he and Itadori were going to watch a bunch of movies that night together. To have a 'bros' night. So even if Itadori found out about the movie trip on the weekend, he probably wouldn't have been very sad for long. But if Junpei was being honest, he struggled to think about any other events other than going to the movies where he'd finally meet (Y/n)'s other friends. Friends who seemed to want to meet Junpei just as much! Well, most of them were excited for that...
--Saturday Afternoon: 5:45 P.M. | Tokyo City District Cinema--
Maki: [Groans] "Can someone explain to me why we haven't gone in to get our tickets yet? We've been standing here for twenty minutes now."
Nobara: "I don't know. (Y/n) mentioned something about waiting for a friend to show up. I don't know. I wasn't really listening."
Maki soon came to understand why when she turned her gaze to her left, where she saw Nobara visually occupied by slamming away her fingers onto the touch screen of her phone. She appeared to be texting someone. Who that someone was was unknown. In the end, Maki simply released another low groan as she brought her arms upward to wrap around her body as she silently waited for (Y/n) to return. Ever since they started dating, she felt rather awkward without him by her side. Not that she couldn't be alone. She just liked being next to him is all...
Maki: "Argh! He better hurry up out of that bathroom! Why the hell did all four of them even go in their by themselves anyway?! It's weird!"
There was also the fact that she made herself look extra pretty tonight. She even put a visible amount of make-up on! A visible amount! That was a lot for her! And she did all of it because she wanted to look nice for her boyfriend! But nooo! He just had to go off to the bathroom with the others as soon as they got here. It made Maki question whether she even looked nice to begin with. Now that was far from being an actual worry, as both of the young girls were dressed in rather comfortable fashion that'd still fit in when going to see a movie. With Maki wearing her usual purple zip-up jumper and a pair of jeans. Matched off by white laced-up shoes.
Whilst Nobara wore a black sleeveless top with a pair of denim jeans and black shoes to finish her looks up. Both girls wore a visible amount of makeup. Clearly showing that they were going out. Though, it didn't really take their looks to get that much information, as both currently stood to the side next to a random wall full of movie posters, within the large main area of the Tokyo City District Cinema. Now, Maki and Nobara didn't know they were even going to the movies this weekend. That was until (Y/n) decided to randomly drop the fact that if both girls weren't busy, he'd love for them to come out. This, of course, made both girls happy.
Maki was happy because she kinda liked the idea of her and (Y/n) being seated next to one another in a dark cinema room. Where she envisioned him doing that cheesy tactic of yawning before placing an arm around her shoulder. Maki had seen it multiple times in movies, and thought it was stupid...Though that didn't mean she didn't want (Y/n) to do it still. As for Nobara, well...She liked (Y/n), and saw it as a date as well. Despite when Maki tried to play it down. But by this point, Maki wasn't in much mood for arguing.
However, both girls were not the only ones to be attending this night out in the city. As not far away from the girls current location, (Y/n) could be seen suddenly being slammed against the wall of the male bathroom. However, this was not an attack. Well, not really. As the cause for such a thing came from Panda, who looked down at his friend with a very displeased manner. All the while Megumi and Inumaki stood behind Panda, but were far to busy washing their hands to do anything but just look at each other as Panda made his annoyance clear.
Panda: "What in the PANDA, (Y/n)?! Why'd you bring Maki and Nobara to our boy's weekend plan, huh?! We were supposed to be seeing boobs on the big screen!" [Muttrers in despair] "Now they're just going to ruin it..."
(Y/n): [Chuckles nervously] "They're not gonna ruin it, Panda."
Panda: "Oh, yeah?! Well you won't even be able to sit next to us boys now because Maki and Nobara will want you to sit next to them! NOW HOW ARE WE GOING TO CHEER IN UNION WHEN WE SEE BOOBS?!"
(Y/n): "Um...Probably a little less loud than what you just did. But, um... You know! It'll be cool!"
Panda: "Pfft! Yeah, right..."
(Y/n): "Okay! Okay! How about I...I promise to sit with the boys, huh? Then when the, um...boobs, come on...we can cheer together?" [Thoughts] "Though I probably won't say much...I'll probably be dead silent actually..." [Out Loud] "Does that work out for you, ya big teddy bear?"
Panda: "...Yes. Yes, it does. And thank you for referring to me as a bear. For as some may not know, Pandas are bears, (Y/n)."
(Y/n): "Um...Alright? But, um, I think everyone already knew they were bears, Panda."
Panda: "Ha! You'd be proven wrong, good sir! I've had multiple arguments online with people who are not cultured!"
(Y/n): "Where the hell do people even argue over shit like this anyway?"
Panda: "...Reddit."
(Y/n): "Oh. Oh. Yeah, that makes sense..."
That was something both could agree on. Which was good, because (Y/n) couldn't exactly deal with another turn of his body being slammed against the wall by Panda. And continued to do so as the group of three boys and a Panda returned from the bathroom and into the lively front entryway of the cinema. A large amount of people were gathered all over the place, but mainly at the front counters, where four separate lines with people waiting in them to be served could be seen. But no one had yet to grab their tickets as they instead were waiting for the final person to arrive. Though, as they made their way back to where Maki and Nobara were, Megumi brought up a very good question. In he only just realized...
Megumi: "...How the hell is Panda even in here?! He's a Panda!"
Panda: [Gasps loudly] "Megumi! You racist son of a Panda!"
Panda was so shocked by the notion that his entire body was pressed up against the closest wall to his left. The shocked expression remained present as Megumi just looked up at him in confusion. All the while, (Y/n) just laughed it off.
(Y/n) "Haha! Don't worry, Megumi. Panda's alright."
Megumi: "...He's a Panda though."
Panda: "Megumi! No!"
Megumi: [Suddenly turns to Panda] "I'M NOT SAYING YOU SHOULDN'T BE HERE BECAUSE YOU'RE A PANDA, IDIOT! I'M ASKING HOW YOU'RE HERE WHEN THERE CLEARLY AREN'T ANY OTHER PANDAS HERE!"
Panda: "...Oh." [Stands normal] "My apologies. Please continue."
All Megumi could do was shake his head in annoyance, once more questioning why he was even classmates with these people. As for (Y/n), he just continued to laugh like the cousin of Gojo he was, and proceeded to explain the matter as he tossed an arm around Megumi's shoulder.
(Y/n): "Megumi. Megumi. Megumi...Chan. It's cool! I just used a cursed technique of mine to make Panda appear human to everyone else besides us."
Megumi: "You have a cursed technique for that?"
(Y/n): "Honestly, by this point, what do I not have a cursed technique for?"
Actually...That was something all four boys could agree upon. Though, agreeing upon something like this was the least of (Y/n)'s worries. As not far away, back with Maki and Nobara, they were still 'patiently waiting for the guys to return. Though, with them having already waited five minutes, Maki took it upon herself to send another annoyed glance in the direction of the bathroom to see if the guys had left. Now, when she first saw them standing in the hallway not far away from their current location, Maki was released.
Finally (Y/n) could return to standing right beside her like she had been wanting for the entire time now. However, Maki was soon giving a thundering shock into her life when she saw (Y/n) grinned as he had an arm...around Megumi's neck. They were close enough that their shoulders rubbed. As soon as Maki saw this, something inside of her snapped. Revealed by the way her eye began to twitch the more she took in the image of her boyfriend having his arm around another person's shoulder. It was only made worse by the fact that it was this exact action that she wanted (Y/n) to do with her.
So seeing him do it with someone else made her furious. Now, you'd think by this point that she couldn't get any angrier. Well, that quickly changed when she saw that (Y/n)'s arm...was over Megumi's shoulder. Megumi! A guy! Maki didn't think she had to worry about a guy stealing (Y/n) from her! She just thought it'd be Nobara and every other girl who didn't know when to back off. Not a boy! And especially not one who was looking directly into her smiling boyfriend's eyes right now. This, to say the least, made Maki furious.
Maki: "Argh! Megumi!"
The name contained from her clenched teeth as she squeezed her hands so tight that her knuckles cracked just from that. They were even loud enough that Nobara was even forced to lift her head from hearing the sudden noise.
Nobara: "Was that gunshots?"
Of course, Maki didn't respond as she was too busy yelling at herself for not thinking of a situation where a boy would try and take (Y/n) from her. She never expected it to happen. Let alone Megumi of all people! Panda! Inumaki! Itadori! Sure! At least with them she'd understand why. But Megumi?! Megumi showed no interest in (Y/n) whatsoever! Then again, neither did Maki at first. Ha! This was (Y/n)'s fault! He was using the same charms he used on her and was now using them on Megumi! Oh, he was so dead! Though, the scene only grew worse for Maki when out of nowhere, that boy who (Y/n) met at the Lego section the other day could be seen approaching the group of boys.
Junpei: [Nervously smiles] "Um...H-Hey, (Y/n)? I hope I didn't keep you guys waiting for long?"
(Y/n): "Huh?" [Turns to Junpei] "Oh! Junpei, hey! No! We're cool! We were just about to get our tickets! Right, Megumi dear?"
Now, (Y/n) said such in a teasing tone. However, a certain someone...did not.
"DEAR?!"
(Y/n): [Lifts head] "Huh? Why do I hear the Grimm Reaper approaching me?"
Honestly, (Y/n) wasn't far from the truth. For as he turned to look at his friends for support, all he saw were looks of complete fear marking their faces. Unbeknownst to (Y/n), a dark presence was rising behind him.
(Y/n): "Haha! You guys look funny! Kinda like me when Maki makes that face she makes whenever she wants to kill me....Ohhhh! She's standing right behind me, huh?"
Though, whilst (Y/n) smiled as he said that. He noticeably did not turn around to face his fears. However, that didn't matter for Maki, who proceeded to completely tear her boyfriend away from any remnant of Megumi and began pulling him off in a random direction where his grave was most likely waiting for him. It was as all this happened, that the group of Megumi, Junpei, Panda, and Inumaki just watched it happen.
Megumi: "...What just happened?"
Panda: "I...I think (Y/n) is about to die?"
Inumaki: "Tuna."
Panda: "You're right, Inumaki. Maki did seem more aggressive than normal."
Inumaki: "Mustard leaf?"
Panda: [Suddenly turns to him] "Are you serious?! You know Maki is stronger than a special grade when she's like this. Look, we've just gotta face facts here... (Y/n)'s dead. It sucks. But its a way of life." [Notices Junpei] "Oh! Hey! You must be (Y/n)'s friend Junpei, right?"
Instantly, Junpei's attention was turned from the sight of (Y/n) being dragged away by a girl, a scene he found himself smiling at instead of fearing, for some reason. Before a wave of sudden anxiety pressed onto him when he turned to Panda. However, instead of seeing Panda, thanks to (Y/n)'s cursed technique, all Junpei, and everyone else besides the Jujutsu students, was a tall, muscular boy with black and white hair.
Junpei: "Um...Y-Yeah. I'm Junpei. It's nice to meet you all."
Panda: "(Y/n)'s told us a lot about you, Junpei! We're really glad you could come along tonight!"
Junpei: "H-He has...?" [Thoughts] "They're...They're glad I'm here?"
It was clear by both sentences, that Junpei was shocked, but extremely happy for this warm welcome.
Panda: "Sure has! Anyway, I'm Panda!"
Junpei: [Chuckles] "Because of your hair?"
Panda: [Raises eyebrow] "Huh? What do you mean?"
(Panda does not know what he looks like as a human)
Junpei: "Um...N-Nothing. Nevermind."
Panda: "Okay! Next up is the small guy standing next to me, Inumaki."
Inumaki: [Raises hand] "Kelp."
Junpei: "Kelp...?"
Panda: "Haha! Don't worry about that, Junpei. Inumaki here, um...Just likes to talk weird compared to others."
Junpei: "O-Oh..."
Inumaki: [Glares at Panda] "Fish flakes!"
Yet again, the strange choice of words caught Junpei off guard. Though by the angry look on Inumaki's face, added by the fact Panda now looked concerned, didn't exactly help that sensation for Junpei either.
Panda: [Muttering to Inumaki] "Look. I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that. I had to come up with some way to make it not seem weird."
Inumaki: "Fish flakes!"
Panda: "Not weird to me! Weird to Junpei!" [Leans in and whispers] "He doesn't know we're cool sorcerers, remember?"
Junpei couldn't exactly hear what Panda and Inumaki were talking about. But before he could even guess, he was thrown off as Panda abruptly turned back to smile at him.
Panda: "Anyway, Junpei, the final boy of our group is the one standing furthest from me. The one currently questioning his life over there! That's Megumi!"
Junpei: "Oh!" [Turns to his left] "Hello, Megumi, It's nice to--"
However, upon turning to look at Megumi, Junpei was shocked to see Megumi was doing exactly as Panda said. His face located towards the ground as he mumbled under his breathe.
Megumi: [Mumbles] "Why did I have to be enrolled in this school? Any other would have been better than this."
Junpei "Um..." [Turns to Panda] "Panda?"
Panda: "Haha! Don't worry about him, Junpei. Anyway, now that you're here! We can finally get our tickets, come on!"
Before Junpei could even say anything, Panda was quick to launch an arm around his new friend's shoulder and proceeded to drag him off toward the waiting line to purchase tickets and other snacks. It's this very spot where Junpei now finds himself, amongst the group of Jujutsu students, whilst standing right behind (Y/n) and Maki. The former currently doing his best to cheer up his angry girlfriend as they waited to be served.
(Y/n): "Come on, Maki! I'm sorry for whatever I did! But seriously, I don't know what I did!"
Maki: [Scoffs] "Of course, you don't!" [Glares at you] "You never know!"
(Y/n): [Thoughts] "Yeah. And I'm pretty sure most of the time neither do you." [Out Loud] "Come on. Just tell me what I did. I swear I didn't do it on purpose."
Immediately following his words, (Y/n) proceeded to come from behind his girlfriend and wrap both arms around her neck. He intended this to give Maki a comforting cuddle, and to look adorable so hopefully, she'd forgive him sooner. But instead of being forgiven, he was only given another wave of anger when one of his arms came to rest close enough to Maki's neck that her nose was able to pick up a very...particular...scent. The arm currently wrapped around her body, was the exact same one that was wrapped around Megumi's shoulder. And now Maki could smell his scent.
Maki: "Arghh! Now you smell like him! You smell like him!"
(Y/n): "Smell like him? Hmm? Who?"
Maki did nothing but glare up at her boyfriend, which only confused (Y/n) more. Now, the reason Maki could smell Megumi's 'scent' was because Megumi had chosen to wear a very strong cologne tonight. And with (Y/n) have his arm over Megumi's shoulder earlier, it caused some of the smell to transfer to (Y/n)'s arm. Now Maki's entire night was ruined! Solely because when her dream of (Y/n) tossing an arm over her shoulder eventually happened tonight whilst they'd be watching the movie, she'd smell this scent and be reminded of Megumi.
And she didn't want to be reminded of any other person, especially a boy, that wasn't her boyfriend. She still felt bad for how things were awhile ago when they had their fight, and the fact she still struggled to admit that she loved (Y/n) was something that was digging away at her. This was only making those pains worse. But as Maki was never good as reflecting emotions to other people clearly, she was left to simply glare.
A glare which (Y/n) presumed was directed at him. It was as all of this happened, that Junpei simply chuckled lightly as he waited behind the pair. His gaze was eventually directed to the other girl in the group, Nobara Kugisaki, who currently stood next to him and the others. Now, it was only a few days ago that Junpei found out Nobara was not (Y/n)'s girlfriend. And whilst he didn't want to push his luck, or come off as a weirdo, he still wanted to use the opportunity to talk to a girl he didn't exactly know.
Junpei: [Chuckles lightly] "Zenin and (Y/n) are really funny together, huh?"
Nobara: "Hmm? Zenin? Oh, you mean Maki? I guess so..." [Glares at Maki] "Though I still don't like it that she's taking up all his attention right now."
Junpei: "Oh...Uh, I don't think I understand, sorry?" [Smiles nervously] "I thought Zenin was (Y/n)'s girlfriend?"
Nobara: "She is..." [Grins] "She's just not going to be the only one for long."
Junpei: "O-Oh...I see." [Thoughts] "Well, there goes any chance of getting to know a girl better."
Surprisingly, not all hope was lost, however. For after (Y/n) and Maki had finished getting their tickets, with (Y/n) also getting Maki her own popcorn and drink, in order to make her somewhat happy, it was Junpei's turn to get his ticket. However, before he could say a single word, his entire body froze when his eyes landed on the gentle smile of the female worker about to serve him.
"Hi, there! Welcome to the City District Cinema! How can I help you today?"
Junpei: "U-Um..."
Junpei didn't know what to say or do. He just saw this girl and thought she was very pretty. Immediately a wave of contemplating thoughts came to mind. But it was in this moment that (Y/n) came to save him again. As out of nowhere, (Y/n) joined his side, launching a arm over his shoulder (something that made Maki angry once more in the background) and grinned towards Junpei and the female worker.
(Y/n): "Hey, Junpei, just wanted to say thanks again for taking us all to the movies today."
Junpei: "Um...What do you--"
(Y/n): [To the female worker] "I tell ya, this guy is always doing things for other people! Like helping little old weak me out on the farm. Helping the old people around his neighbourhood on the weekends. Ha! Though I'm just lucky I already have a girlfriend, otherwise I'd never be able to get the attention of any girl whenever he's around. He's really a great guy!"
Junpei: "I...I am?"
Junpei muttered as much as a question, but he soon got the understanding when the voice of the female worker spoke out.
"Oh...Well then, he sounds very lucky to have a friend like you. I'm sure you must be very popular."
Junpei: "Um, well..."
Unsure of what to say, Junpei just proceeded to look up at (Y/n), who just gave him a reassuring wink before walking away...Only to be slapped on the back of the head by Maki. But Junpei's moment seemed to be much better. For it was as he waited for his popcorn and drink, that he got to talking with this female worker even more. To the point that, as the entire group later made their way into the cinema room to watch their movie, Junpei could be seen holding a piece of paper with the girls number on it.
Junpei: "I...I can't believe it. I-I actually got a girls number!"
(Y/n): "Haha! Yeah, ya did, Junpei! I knew you had it in ya, buddy!"
Junpei: "I-I don't know what to say, (Y/n)..." [Smiles at you] "Thank you!"
(Y/n): "Haha! It's all good! No need to thank me. That was all you!"
Junpei didn't exactly know about that. But in the end, he did nothing but smile to confirm his emotions. And things only seemed to get better for him, as within the next few minutes he was sitting amongst a group of new friends waiting for the movie to start. The only person who had yet to get a seat was (Y/n). Currently, there were two opened seats available. One between Maki and Nobara, the two girls purposely leaving it open for the boy. There was also another one free between the boys.
With Panda on one side, and Megumi on the other. Now, (Y/n) was originally heading for the spot with the boys, as he did kinda promise Panda he'd sit with them. However, when Maki realized (Y/n)'s eyes were focused solely on the spot next to...Megumi, she became enraged. But managed to keep her anger in control as she simply got up from her seat before (Y/n) could move past, and held out her hand to stop him from going any further.
Maki: "Stop!"
(Y/n): "Huh?"
Maki: "Where are you going, (Y/n)? Your seats right here...Next to me."
(Y/n): "O-Oh. Um...I-I know, Maki. Look, I really wanted to sit next to you, but I promised--"
Maki: "--Megumi?!"
(Y/n): [Confused] "What? Megumi? I did--"
Maki: "I don't care, (Y/n). You're sitting next to me. Now...Sit."
Maki proceeded to point at the empty chair in front of her. (Y/n) followed her stern gaze, and chuckled nervously.
(Y/n): [Chuckles nervously] "Haha...Come on, Maki, I really am--"
Maki: "...Sit."
This time, despite her tone remaining the same, the word was more direct. (Y/n) knew from past experience that when Maki spoke like this, it was best to just go along with whatever she wanted. So, unfortunately for Panda, (Y/n) was made to sit next to Maki. Which, wasn't bad by any means, (Y/n) still enjoyed sitting next to Maki. He loved her. But Panda found himself betrayed by the action.
Now all the boys couldn't cheer on when they saw boobs on the screen. Speaking of boobs, however, it turns out that (Y/n) wasn't going to win either way tonight. Because despite sitting next to Maki, (Y/n) was left to deal with angry remarks from both his girlfriend, and best friend, later that very night as the group walked through an empty park on their way back to school.
Maki: "Pervert (Y/n)."
Panda: "Pervert (Y/n)."
(Y/n): "What?! How am I a pervert?!"
Maki: [Glares] "You wanted to watch that movie just to see boobs."
Panda: "You wanted to watch that movie to just to see boobs... And didn't even watch it with me!"
(Y/n): "I was still in the room, man!"
Panda: "Yeah, but not next to me!"
(Y/n) was left in disbelief as he looked at Panda. But upon realizing he had bigger fish to worry about, he proceeded to turn his head back to Maki. But in doing so, he was greeted by the narrowest of glares his girlfriend could possibly offer.
Maki: "I knew you were a pervert...and a punk."
(Y/n): "What is it with you calling me a punk all the time?!"
Maki: "Well, don't be a punk and I won't call you it!"
(Y/n): "You know what? Fine! Call me whatever you want! I'm the victim here! You guys are all mean!"
That remark caused a chuckle from Inumaki and Junpei, the latter walking a little behind the trio in front of them. Junpei happily kept the smile on his face with Inumaki whilst Megumi just rolled his eyes, and Nobara silently watched the fire in front of her go down.
Nobara: "Hehe~ That's it. Keep being stupid, Maki. Eventually, you'll say something that pisses (Y/n) right off and he'll be sad...And I'll be the one there to cheer him up~"
Junpei: "Um...Kugisaki...You're kinda scaring me."
But Nobara did not respond. She just kept the wicked grin on her lips as she watched Maki and (Y/n) go back and forth.
Maki: "Oh, so you're saying you didn't go to that movie to just see boobs?"
(Y/n): "...Okay, well, that was the original idea. BUT! But...I didn't like doing that because I knew you wouldn't like me doing that..." [Mutters] "Though, I mean, what else was I supposed to do. Every guy needs a daily dose of boobs in their life. And it's not like I've seen yours..."
Maki: "What was that, (Y/n)?"
(Y/n): "Nothing! Nothing!" [Sighs] "Look, Maki, I'm serious. Ask Panda even! I was hesitant to even go to this movie because I knew how'd you feel..." [Smiles innocently] "And some would say that's adorable and worth to be forgiven...?"
However, Maki did not seem to agree with that as she just narrowed her gaze at her boyfriend once more before crossing her arms and turning her head elsewhere.
Maki: "Hmph! Whatever. I don't care..."
(Y/n): [Sighs & Mutters] "She totally cares..."
So back and forth this went about as the group of teenagers made their way through the darkened playground. However, all was about to turn into an abrupt nightmare. Such was unbeknownst to any of the group, as they proceeded to walk through a dirt clearing in the centre of the playground that kids used to play soccer. However, a different type of game was going to be played here. And out of all the sorcerers present, (Y/n) was the first to sense it. As during his 'conversation' with Maki, he suddenly came to an abrupt stop.
Maki: "Look, all I'm saying..." [Smiles at you] "Is that you're a pervert who should just die in a hole."
(Y/n): "Okay, first off, ouch. That hurts you'd even think of that."
Maki: "Hurts?! How do you think it feels for me knowing my boyfriend wants to look at another girl's boobs!"
(Y/n): "Another girl?! Maki, it's a movie! Besides, the only boobs I want to look at are--"
Maki: "--AND YOU STILL SMELL LIKE MEGUMI!"
(Y/n): "...Okay. Now I know you're being ridiculous because there's no way I..."
The silence from (Y/n) came without any warning, as his head just faced straight ahead whilst seemingly staring into the distance. This instantly caught the attention of everyone else, who stopped walking as they looked at (Y/n).
Junpei: "Is everything okay, (Y/n)?"
Nobara: "Do you need a hug? Did Maki upset you? I'm here if you need anything!"
Panda: "(Y/n)...I know we had a fight, but if you're sad then I'm--"
(Y/n): "--Quiet."
Panda: "Huh?"
Maki: [Grins] "Yeah, Panda, quiet. Because (Y/n)'s finally realized that I was right and everything he was saying was--"
(Y/n): "--Quiet."
Maki: "Huh?"
It was only after both Panda and Maki made this noise that (Y/n)'s body finally moved. But instead of walking ahead, like you'd presume, (Y/n) just remained in the spot he already was, and simply just began looking around in a circle. This left everyone else confused, but even so, they all remained quiet. As they watched, it appeared like (Y/n) was looking for something. But whatever that was, left them confused. That confusion, however, only grew more when (Y/n) began to speak. The strange thing was... it didn't seem to be directed to anyone present.
(Y/n): "Okay, I got three questions for you..."
Panda: "Huh? Three questions?"
Nobara: "(Y/n), what are you--"
Maki: "Sssh!"
A quick glance at Maki showed that, whilst she didn't understand what was going on, she understood enough to trust her boyfriend. Which only showed Nobara in this moment, that no matter how Maki and (Y/n) joke around in moments like seconds ago. When things got serious, she knew to trust him. (Y/n) seemed to get this feeling as well, for as soon as this happened, a smile found his lips as he continued to speak.
(Y/n): [Smiles] "...Question one; how long have you been watching us?"
That right there confirmed that (Y/n) wasn't talking to anyone in the group. But it also got the others, who at least knew about curses, to begin cautiously looking around themselves.
(Y/n): "...Question two; do you realize what shit you're about to get yourself into?"
(Y/n)'s smile turned to a smirk upon saying this. Junpei just watched on in complete confusion, perplexed at what was going on around him.
(Y/n): "...And final question..." [Turns around abruptly] "Who the fuck are you?!"
As (Y/n) said his final words, the young boy abruptly spun around, finally directing his sentence onto someone. But as everyone else followed his gae, they realized that 'someone' was not just any someone. For the direction (Y/n) was now looking at, was the moon, where the silhouette of Jogo, the curse with the volcano for a head with one eye, could be seen flying through the air. A deranged smile showing up his charred black teeth was a sight that immediately haunted Junpei to his core. But (Y/n)...(Y/n) just continued to grin...even as Jogo roared from his soul.
Jogo: "Jujustu Sorcer (Y/n) (L/n)! Scorn of Gojo Satoru! Your time to die as come now!"
(Y/n): [Grins] "...My time to die, you say?" [Chuckles] "I'm sorry. Haven't you heard..."
"...I'm the main character around these parts~"
[THE NEXT CHAPTER IS ALREADY DONE, AND IT'S MASSIVE, SO IF YOU WANT IT BY NEXT WEEK, LETS GET THIS CHAPTER TO 300 VOTES IN 24 HOURS! TRUST ME! THE SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA IS ABOUT TO OFF THE CHARTS!!!]
[...Okay, there we go with this weeks chapter. 16k words, just like the last one. I originally planned to have the Jogo fight in this chapter. But extended it to the next one because I didn't want to rush the character moments in this chapter. Basically, the last two chapters were present to connect a bond between the reader and Junpei, and to showcase the struggles a teenager goes through. It's through this struggles, however, that people can connect and bond, and grow closer. But sometimes these struggles can lead to misery down the line. And that's something I didn't want to rush, to make moments down the track less impactful. Even so, I do hope you all ended up enjoying this chapter. If you need, be sure to vote. Because if we get to 300 votes in 24 hours, I'll bring you all the next ALREADY COMPLETED chapter...Next week, just to give some breathing time for potential rewrites if I need to make it better. So, yeah, thanks for reading, and I hope to see you all again really soon with another chapter~]
