"So this is how I die?..."

Standing on a random rooftop of a school building, a young man named Megumi Fushiguro, with black hair and a black-blue uniform, could be seen bleeding and struggling to stay up against a monstrous Cursed Spirit that was charging towards him.

"How unfortunate... Oh well, at least I know I managed to hold it off enough for the students to escape, so it isn't a complete waste..."

Megumi closed his eyes in acceptance, at least taking some comfort that his death wouldn't be wasted, however, before the Cursed Spirit could attack Fushiguro, he was suddenly stopped and held back by a certain young man in green, using his bare hands to hold open the jaws of the Cursed Spirit, much to the shock of the young man in black

"NORA!"

The young man in green suddenly yelled out as he then used all of his strength to push away the Cursed Spirit. Suddenly, he summoned two pairs of green-bladed guns, called Stormflowers, from his sleeves and started shooting at it to keep it away.

"W-What are you doing, using normal weapons won't be enough to-"

Just as Megumi was about to explain how the green guns wouldn't work on the Cursed Spirit, he then heard someone who was giggling and laughing loudly, much to his confusion, though before he could see where the sound was coming from, a young woman in pink came falling down from the sky and slammed a large hammer, known as a Magnhild, down upon the Cursed Spirit, which did some serious damage and caused it to spit out blood everywhere, however it was still alive enough to try reaching out for the ginger-haired girl.

"Ew, you look gross... I KNOW HOW TO FIX THAT!~"

The young woman in pink pressed the trigger of her large hammer, and in an instant, the Cursed Spirit exploded in a shower of blood, killing it without a doubt. This definitely shocked Fushiguro.

'B-But how? I-I don't even sense any curse energy from them?...'

As Megumi tried to process what she had just seen, the young man in green, whose clothes were stained with Cursed Spirit blood, sighed as she put away her weapon and crossed her arms

"Nora, what did I tell you about making a mess like this?..."

He couldn't help but shake in disappointment as he looked at the young woman in pink, who was named Nora Valkyrie. She simply giggled and pretended she wasn't covered in blood.

"Come on Ren, I didn't know that my friend can pop like a water balloon~"

As Nora tries to act all cute and innocent in front of the young man in green (Lie Ren), something plopped on her head, which caught everyone's attention. Valkyrie grabbed whatever was on her head and held it in front of her face; she saw that it was a finger, and this made her smile wildly.

"This Shall Be My Proof And Trophy Of What I Have Done Today, BOW DOWN BEFORE THE QUEEN OF THE CASTLE!~"

As Nora continues to be herself, Furiguro went eyes in horror as he suddenly realized what she was holding

"WAIT! PUT THAT DOWN QUICKLY BEFORE-"

Unfortunately, Megumi was too late, as another Cursed Spirit appeared out of nowhere and didn't hesitate to punch Nora in the face, which not only sent her flying back, crashing into a wall, but also made her have to swallow the finger she was holding. Both Lie Ren and Fugurō looked on in shock and horror, though one was more concerned about Valkyrie's safety, while the other seemed to be scared for a totally different reason.

"Yuck, that tasted like spoiled beef jerky..."

Unlike most characters in RWBY, Nora and Ren are actually orphans with no real attachment, of course to say they wouldn't be freaked out or maybe missed their original home in some way would be a lie, but not by much, especially since I'm using the characters before they entered Beacon Academy, so they don't have any friends or teammates, mhm~

(BTW, I hope you don't mind me replacing Yugi with Nora, just trying something different and new, also the reason the two are able to see Curses is because of their Aura, cop out answer but whatever, anyway what kind of abilities or Domain Expansion should they have? I'm open to suggestions)
