Juju and Her Sixth Sense

CHAPTER 4

Juju is in the kitchen. She sits on a chair in a corner drinking something or eating something.

His father, still half drunk, goes downstairs to get some water, he is complaining about the energy. He talks to himself.

Carl says:

"What a bad day, today. Only shit."

Carl trips over an object, perhaps a small table or a chair. He falls, but soon gets up and continues to grumble.

"Only shit. Today my day is very fallen, I fell, the light fell. What about now?".

Carl drinks a glass of water.

Juju suddenly says hello to him:

"Hi dad, I'm here, don't be scared." She said.

But it's not work and Carl gets a big fright and ends up knocking his plastic cup over in the sink.

He doesn't say anything, but starts to fill the glass with water again. He does it quietly, but he's thinking, he's mad at Juju.

Carl, thinking:

"My God, what a thing! This girl is able to get me mad today. She drives me crazy. I feel like she's chasing me. What a boring girl.".

Juju listens to his father's thoughts. But she thinks he was talking to her, so she replies.

"You are boring, not me.".

Carl has just drunk his water and turns to Juju.

Carl, says:

"My God, Juju. I didn't say anything. Stop bothering me.".

Juju gets a little confused, lifts an eyebrow and cleans her ear.

"Awkward...I'm sorry, dad. It's not about you right now...I'm sorry again."

Carl starts to leave the kitchen, but speaks, looking at Juju:

"Go, go to sleep. Good night. It's late. The light has already returned.".

The next day, at the house. In her room. Juju wakes up 'facing life' very differently.

She looks the same, but inside she's different.

In the kitchen Juju, wearing a gym outfit, is sitting at the kitchen table staring at her mother who eats breakfast. Juju behaves this way because she is trying 'to read' Ana's thoughts.

Ana is surprised by Juju's behavior and stops eating.

Ana says:

"What's wrong, daughter? Is there something dirty on my face?".

Juju says: "No, not at all. Sorry, mom. I'm still a little lost, a little tired, it must be a hangover.".

Juju eats a bread (or take a cup of tea).

Carl, wearing his strange pajamas, is walking a little clumsy. He enters the kitchen, grabs a glass of water and sits down in front of Juju.

Juju stares at her father. Juju behaves this way because she's trying 'to read' Carls' thoughts.

Carl, half sleepy, with his eyes half-open, thinks Juju's behavior strange and stops eating. Carls' eyes are widened. Carl says:

Carl to Juju:

"Is everything alright, my daughter?"

Juju to Carl:

"I'm sorry, dad. I'm still half asleep, confused. Maybe I have a headache."

Ana to Carl:

"Don't worry, man. She must have slept badly last night. Right, darling?".

Juju to Carl:

"Yes, that's it... I guess... no problem. And you haven't stopped snoring all night, father. From my room I heard everything. A bizarre symphony.".

Carl doesn't say anything, but gets up and this time he's the one who stares at Juju while drinking water. Carl looks at Juju, he only thinks:

"She won't stop bothering me anymore. Only shit!".

Suddenly, Juju widens her eyes and shows a smile as she has finally realized her "power". She finally realized she has "super power", a "Sixth Sense".

Carl speaks to Juju:

"Yes, Juju, I like when you smile, but you are scaring me, girl... but I love you very much. You know it, right.".

Carl puts the glass in the sink.

Juju says:

"Me too, dad, I adore you. I'm sorry to bother you. It's not my intention, at least not all the time. But I really don't feel good l today, so I decide to run in the park.

Ana to Juju:

"Good idea, dear. Have a nice day, Juju.".

Carl doesn't say anything and walks towards the kitchen exit. He's thinking:

"Running at this hour? Is she not going to work today? What a stupid generation. I can't understand it.".

Carl leaves the kitchen. Juju 'listens' to her father's every thought, but she doesn't respond this time.

Ana moves with her chair closer to Juju.

Ana says:

"Okay, daughter. Tell me what's going on. Is it just lack of sleep? Is it about your father? Or is it about Peter?

Juju says:

"Mom, it's okay. But can I ask you a question?".

"Of course, daughter. What is it about?". Ana said.

Juju says:

"Mommy... What would you do if you had the power to read men's minds? To read male thoughts?".

Ana laughs

"This is not a Marvel movie, girl.".

Ana laughs, but she continues talking:

"But if I had that power? I was taste it... I'd try to understand my situation better. I would go to a place with a lot of men and I'd try to read their minds. But I wasn't going to use it to hurt anyone. Maybe have some fun. After all: "With great power comes great responsibility.".".

They both laugh and have fun.

Juju says:

"I also love Spider-Man, mom.".

Ana gives Juju a little kiss on the cheek.

"Is it everything really okay?" Ana said.

Juju says:

"Yes, now it's going to be okay. I really love you too much, mommy. I love you, darling." Juju said.

Ana is smiling: "I love you more... Oh, and don't forget to get a bottle of water to cure your hangover, Juju.".

Juju, smiling: "Okay, Mrs. Ana. I got it. I'll buy it there in the park.".

Ana says: "Save your money, dear. Take you prefer bottle from here.".

Juju nods positively.

After some minutes, Juju is walking (and sometimes she's jogging, sometimes she's running) in a public park.

She'll try to understand what's happening to her. Juju starts listening to the thoughts of the guys who are exercising.

Juju is standing and stretching near an outdoor gym. She stares at a bodybuilder who's working out, who's pulling iron. The bodybuilder thinks:

Bodybuilder, thinking:

"Look at that beautiful bitch. She's looking at me, she can only want me. I'm even going to work out more slowly, just for the kitty... No, it doesn't. Focus. Focus. Concentration. I'll let the pretty go. I'm going to remember my life's goal: which is to have 50 centimeters of biceps. 50! 50! Focus on the mission! No distraction! 50!50!50!".

Juju walks away from that guy.

She's running now, all of a sudden, she notices there's a guy coming towards her. Then she looks at him and she listens.

Runner, thinking:

"Such a beauty! Her boobs are flying! I'm even going to slow down. Is her the butt good too?".

The runner starts running slower. As he passes Juju, he continues to run slowly and run backwards just to see her ass. Juju is now no longer seeing the hallway.

Runner is running backwards and continues to think and analyze Juju's body:

The runner keeps thinking and admiring Juju's body.

"Right! The butt is great. Her ass is very defined. Not too big, not too small. I loved it."

Suddenly, Juju turns around quickly and looks into the eyes of the startled runner.

Runner, thinks:

"Oh no. What can I do? She is looking at me.".

Runner tries to turn quickly to disguise it, but ends up tripping alone and falls to the ground, thus taking a big fall. But quickly, he gets up and speaks loudly to anyone:

Runner screams:

"I'm fine. It's okay... Nobody asked, but I'm fine.".

Runner runs correctly again, in the opposite direction to Juju.

Juju goes on her way, runs back and giggles.

Juju stops to fill her colored bottle with water.

As she fills up, she notices a sir, an old man, about 80 years old, passing by her. He looks at Juju and notices her teeth.

Sir, thinking:

"What beautiful teeth this young girl has... Oops. I remembered that I forgot my dentures.".

Sir walks away from Juju.

Juju laughs, but doesn't realize that her little bottle is almost full of water. The water in the bottle starts to overflow and ends up falling a little on Juju's shirt.

Juju takes off her blouse (she's wearing a top) and is only wearing a top. Juju twists her blouse to get some of the excess water out of her shirt. Meanwhile, she notices that, in front of her, there is a very young and small boy, about 5 or 6 years old, who is drinking chocolate milk and is staring at Juju's breasts.

Little boy, thinking:

"What big, big boobs. There must be a lot of milk in there. If I had such a mother, I would suck on those breasts until I was thirty. I love milk. Straight from the source then, even better.".

Juju laughs and puts her shirt back on.

Juju is running again, she gets tired and starts walking. On her side there's another guy 'stylish' who's also walking. Pretty much side-by-side, but he doesn't talk to her. He is just thinking:

Stylish, thinking:

What a pretty girl... Too bad I don't like it... I prefer a sausage. But she's very pretty, yes... I wish I had her ass, that's why I work out so much.".

Juju smiles, but doesn't look at the stylish one.

Juju is finally about to leave. But first, walk near the lake, where there are some guys fishing.

One of them starts noticing Juju and forgets his rod and his fishing a bit.

Fisherman, thinking:

"What a big fish, what an ass. It's the best fish that appeared today.".

Suddenly, the fisherman's rod begins to pull, to hook. He goes back to concentrating on fishing and tries to hold the rod, but it's too late, the (real) fish is pulling too hard. So, the fisherman can't stand it, he ends up falling into the lake.

Juju leaves the park.

Juju goes to the residence of her friends.

Juju is in Rikki's room. Juju has a towel on her head and she is wearing clean clothes (which are not from the gym) as she just got out of the shower. Juju takes off her towel and combs her hair.

There is a mirror inside this room.

The mirrors are practically characters in the story. There is the mirror's point of view as if someone inside the mirror is watching the girls' conversation.

Rikki is sitting in the corner of her bed, strumming her guitar and humming something very softly.

Karen enters the room and sits next to Rikki on the bed.

Rikki stops for a moment to play, she turns to Juju.

Karen says: "What's up, Juju? How are you?".

Juju to Karen:

"I have breaking news! I'm still a little confused, to be honest.".

Rikki says: "Wait a minute, Juju.".

Rikki gets up and closes the bedroom door.

Jaren to Rikki:

"Relax, Rikki. I told you that Mad Marie left.".

Rikki to Juju: "I don't trust that one over there... bad energy.".

Karen to Rikki:

"She supplements the rent and is also an influencer, she is just starting out. It's okay to help her...".

Rikki to Karen:

"I'm I like much more Juju. She's already one of us, the three friends from school. Rikki looks at Juju: "You could live here, right? I've invited you before.".

Juju to Rikki:

"Thanks, Rikki, I appreciate, but I'm saving money to buy an apartment and there's also my parents...I can't leave them yet.".

"Of course, we understand you, friend. It's just that Marie... I don't know, has a bad energy... I have a bad feeling about her.".

Karen to Rikki:

Rikki, that's enough, what a gratuitous pet peeve. Marie is Marie, it's harmless... but tell, Juju, what's the news?".

Juju sits in front of her friends.

"Last night, after you girls left, I got carried away and ended up accidentally getting a shock...

Karen is curious:" Shock?".

Juju keeps talking:

"With the vibrator, then the light disappeared, turned off... a blackout. And then it came back, and after that, well, I think I developed a sixth sense.".

"What do you mean?" Karen said.

Juju takes a deep breath: "I can read men's minds!'.

Rikki and Karen burst out laughing.

Juju is serious: "Seriously! I went to the park and auditioned; I can hear their thoughts.".

"Have you told anyone about it? To your mother?" Rikki said.

Juju says: "I don't think she really believed it. She also laughed and took it in jest.".

Rikki says: "But I can't believe it. This is unbelievable, Juju.".

Karen is excited: "It's surreal. But if it's really real, it's like a gift you've been given. Some girls have vaginal discharge, but you can read men's minds. How magical it is.".

Rikki is still skeptical. She still doesn't believe it. But she respects Juju.

She says: "Calm down, girls. I have an idea, Karen and I are going with you to a therapy session.".

"Shall we? Are we going to therapy, Rikki?" Karen said.

Rikki says: "In a psychiatrist. Look it up, Karen... on the internet, on your cell phone.".

Karen starts researching psychiatrists on her cell phone.

"Endorsement. You're always sensible, Rikki, thinking of everything." Juju said.

Karen, laughing: "Kind of annoying sometimes.".

They laugh. Rikki continues to speak to conclude her reasoning.

"I know, but let's check out some options first. Let's get all the other possibilities of mental illness out of the way, First let's seek as opinion of a specialist. Let's take it easy,".

"Okay, my friend. You're coming with me, right?" Juju said.
