The Christmas Party Part 3: More Than We Thought

I think Imma keep going. I'm very sorry for the slow ass updates and thank you for being patient, I have Idea and I just need to get to them. I have almost the entire ending planned out and I just need to get there. Don't worry, I'm not gonna rush the ending like 'BOOM: YOU LIVED HAPILY EVER AFTER' just outta nowhere. It's gonna be a buildup and actual story. Thank you.

     Sans POV

I walked downstairs, having just heard Y.N's reasoning for coming own here, I felt light headed and a bit nautious.

Chara was the center of attention, Asriel still hugging her arm and Tori crouched down talking to her and questions her state. Everyone was crowded around Chara, so interested in how she was alive again. Except for Alyphes. I strolled over to her, eyeing the crowd around Chara. "You okay?"  She didn't look up at me. "I just... I don't understand how." I raised an eyebrow. "How what?"

"She created a full soul. Sure, creating Asriel's soul must have been hard, but a monsters' soul is mostly magic with just a tiny bit of DETERMINATION to create a physical form. But a humans' soul is the opposite." Alyphes looked up at me. you just need a bit of magic to create a monsters' soul, and then a little bit of DETERMINATION, and then they'll produce their own magic. But a humans' soul... magic isn't what keeps them together, it's the physical form and DETERMINATION. And that's a constant feeling... so how did Y.N manage to create a feeling that's powerful, to the point where she was able to manipulate it into a physical form?" There was a dreadfully long pause. "Is her soul really that powerful?" I could feel my eyes turn fully black.

"Do you see what I mean?" I stayed quiet, not wanting to alert any of the party members here. "I might have to preform more tests.

Suddenly, I heard a voice ask for me to come with them to the kitchen, Toriel. "Hm? Oh, uh, what for?" She stopped at the frame and said, "I baked a little something for everyone and I need help bringing them out!" She said, cheerfully. I shrugged at her and followed her in. She got oven mitts from a cabinet, and opened the oven, revealing four glorious pies. I smiled, lazily, and picked three up with my magic. Tori picked up the last one and we started walking out together.

ALRIGHT I reached the door, but stopped becuase Toriel started talking. She walked up to me, saying, "Thank you for helping me with these, Sans. It would've taken me multiple trips to get them all." She smiled, greatly and then I could see a faint blush underneath her fur. WAIT A SECOND. I froze, trying to keep my body the same as it was. I had to give no indication that I knew we were standing under the mistletoe.

"No problem." I said as nonchalantly as possible. I continued walking over to the table and sent the pies on it. I looked about and saw that some people(EVERYONE) just watched the scene unfold. I had to continue to act like nothing ever happened. Had to.

I looked over to see Papyrus running around to everybody saying something and then him walking off after people nodded. He ran over to me. "SANS! I ASKED EVERYBODY IF THEY WANTED TO PLAY A HUMAN GAME CALLED 'HIDE AND SEEK'. EVERYONE HAS AGREED AND I JUST NEED YOU TO AGREE!" I chuckled. "Okay, Papyrus, if everyone else is playing so I guess I should join." I walked over to the center of the room and said, "Okay everyone! For hide-and-seek, there are two places you can't go. My room, because Y.N is sleeping in there, also no going outside, 'cause yeah. Got it? 'kay, NOT IT." And I teleported away back to Papyrus. The room was then filled with 'not it's until Chara remained the only one having not said it. "Ah shoot!" She looked down.
"Count to 60 in the corner!!" Papyrus screeched before running all over the house.
     "One!" And so it began.

Chara's POV

"56... 57... 58... 59... 60! Ready or not, here I come!" I looked around the living room. There aren't many places to hide in this house, so this should be easy. "Come out, come out, wherever you are~" I smirked.
I checked under the couch, and to my amazement, I found little Azzy. "Found ya'."

"Aw, Man!" he whined and crawled out from under the couch. "You've gotta help me find everyone now, hah! Go check the upstairs, I'll stay and check the rest of the downstairs, then we'll switch." He nodded and walked upstairs. I turned around. 'Now to check the rest of the place.' I looked behind the TV, nothing. In the TV stand, Alyphs was in a small ball, and sent her upstairs to help Azzy; she stuttered and when on her way. 'Now to check the kitchen...'

I instantly noticed the giant sink cabinet slightly ajar and strolled over to it. I cracked open the door to see Papyrus arguing with a small, white dog that had attached itself to his forearm. He looked down at me, sockets wide and standing still, when I opened he door. The dog took the chance and ran out with his arm. "YOU STUPID DOG, GET BACK HERE WITH MY ARM!!!"

     Now to find the others...
