I'm Gonna Stay
Papyrus and Sans offered for me to stay at their house, but I wasn't going to stay unless I had a reason to, I was only going to stay the night. After refusing offers from Sans to instead sleep in his bed and not the couch, everyone had fallen asleep, everyone else except for me. I was thinking about what had just happened the past few days and if I was going the stay. I was searching through if I would or wouldn't, knowing that Papyrus was Sans's anchor. But something was still off. Then I remembered. During Chara's and Sans's fight, I remember something he said.
"You cant understand how this feels, knowing that one day, without any warning, its all going to be reset. Look. I gave up trying to go back a long time ago, and getting to the surface doesn't really appeal to me anymore, either. 'Cause even if we do, we'll just end up right back here, without any memory of it, right? To be blunt, it makes it hard to give it my all.. or is that just a poor excuse for being lazy...? Hell if I know."
"How did I not notice this? Why didn't I pay attention to what he had to say! Wait... what's that noise? I....Is that.....it sounds like..... but.... who's..... or.. what's.... crying? I.... I can hear crying." I thought. "Is it me?" I felt my face, it was dry. So, that means Papyrus or Sans is crying. I sat up slowly and pulled the covers off, listening to which door it was coming from. I walked over the stairs and skipped all the boards and stairs that creaked. there was a dim blue light, so it was Sans, because Papyrus glows orange. I walked over to the door that was glowing the most, but then I remembered something else, not form the last timeline but from the one before that. My pacifist one with the true ending.
'I needed to save Papyrus and Sans, I knew they were there, I could feel the resonating with Asriel. I closed my eyes and focused. When I opened them, the Skeleton Bros were standing in front of me. I tried to tell a pun on Sans, but only Papyrus was brought back while Sans was still standing there, with pixels covering his face. Papyrus need to bring him back, but then Sans said, "Just give up, I did." Me and Papyrus exchanged glances but thought nothing of it.'
My eyes widened. 'Is Sans okay? Is he not telling me and Papyrus something?' I reached out to the door handle, but before I grabbed it, "Sans," I said in a voice so Paps didn't wake. "are you okay?" no response. "If you don't want to answer, then I'm coming in, okay?" still no response. "O-okay then. I'm.... coming in." I grabbed the handle, twisted it, and let go as the door opened a bit. I popped my head in to see Sans crying neon blue tears, his eye was glowing the same color. You could tell he'd been crying for a bit now. I shut the door behind me, and walked to Sans. Cccrrreeeaaakk. I steped on the squeeking board and Snas turned to face me, still crying. I reached out a hand and said, "Sans, are you okay?" His eye glowe brighter as blue light started to encase him, he was trying to teleport. I reached out and before he could dissapear, I grabbed his jacket.
I opened my eyes to see more blue light, but like mist, it dissapeared and I fell to the ground, knocking me out.
