"Come on! Hurry!" Changbin grunted to Han as he tried his best to help Felix run.

"I'm trying!" Han snapped, but despite his apparent anger, his cheeks were streaked with tears.

They rounded the corner, turning into another pack of zombies, and Changbin dug his heels into the ground.

"Fuck!" he shouted, grabbing the trash can to his left and throwing it forward to block the path as they turned around.

"We can't turn around! The dressing room is that way! We need to get to the others!" Han yelled, frantically pulling on Changbin's jacket.

"We're gonna have to find another place to go because-in case you haven't noticed-there's fifty fucking zombies!"

Just then Felix let out a pained gasp as he stepped too hard on his ankle and fell to his knees. Changbin spun and grabbed his elbows, catching him before he hit the ground.

"They're coming!" Han cried, trying to help Changbin pull Felix up.

"I see that! Throw something! I need time to get Felix on my back!"

"Bin, there's no time," Felix whispered, shaking his head.

"Throw what??" Han asked in a panic, looking around him.

"I don't know! Anything!"

Changbin knelt down and turned his back towards Felix, beckoning for him to hop on.

"I'm only going to slow you down."

"Just get on! Hurry!"

Felix obliged, not wanting to delay Changbin any more than he already had as Han yanked a fire extinguisher off of the wall and began spraying it towards the mob encroaching upon them.

Changbin stood, giving Felix a quick boost so he wouldn't fall and the three of them sprinted onwards, away from the dressing rooms.

"Where are we going to go!? Nothing's safe!" Han shouted.

"I don't know! Somewhere with a door!" Changbin grunted, realizing Felix's added weight had more of an effect on his endurance than he'd expected.

As they were about to turn the corner, another group of zombies flew out at them, knocking Han back onto the floor.

"Han!" Changbin cried, reaching out an arm to pick him up. But Felix started to slide on his back and in a panic, he grabbed onto Changbin's neck tightly, starting to choke him.

Han scrambled to grab the fire extinguisher and sprayed it ahead of him. As soon as he had gained enough distance to stand, he got up and the three of them turned back to the little bit of hallway that was left between the two mobs.

"We're fucked!" Han sobbed, looking both directions, his weapon raised.

Changbin felt himself getting light-headed from all of the physical activity and the strain of Felix's arms on his lungs and tried to blink it away.

"The bathroom! We can still make it!" Felix cried, and Changbin and Han turned towards the door.

With a nod, they took off, preparing themselves to slam into the door and close it as soon as they got inside.

But when they went to open it, it didn't budge.

Changbin slammed against the heavy metal door and winced, reeling back.

"What the fuck!?"

"Try again!" Felix panicked and Changbin stepped away, ready to charge.

"Hurry!" Han shouted, watching the two groups of zombies advance.

Just as Changbin was about to slam into the door again, it opened and he almost fell on his face as he flew through the opening and into a wall, unable to slow his momentum.

"Han! Come on!" he managed to shout and turned to see Han spraying as many zombies as he could before he dashed inside and the door was shut again, and the lock clicked.

He let Felix step off his back before sliding down to the ground and holding his head in his hands and letting his eyes shut.

"Holy fuck," he whispered.

"Thank you. Thank you so much," Felix cried, reaching for the person who had let them in and engulfing them in a hug.

Changbin finally had the energy to look up and was surprised. It was Ateez's Jongho.

"Did any of you get bitten?" a voice came from the other side of the bathroom and Changbin turned to see Yeosang, standing next to Mingi.

They both looked at him like he was some sort of monster. They were terrified.

"No. None of us."

"Are you sure? You owe it to us to be honest," Jongho said firmly, staring down at him.

Changbin looked around at Han and Felix and they both nodded.

"We're sure."

"Okay."

Jongho reached out a hand, lifting Changbin off the ground and the two of them walked over towards the sinks, leaning against them. Han looked at the door nervously and moved to stand in front of it.

"That door is basically indestructible, you don't have to hold it," Jongho called but Han didn't seem convinced.

"Having slammed into it at full speed, I trust that door with my life," Changbin laughed and Han nodded cautiously stepping away.

Felix held the wall as he walked over towards the rest of the group but it was clear that his ankle was killing him so Changbin came over to help.

"Here, let me-"

"I'm fine."

"I know, but just let me-"

"I said I'm fine! Fuck!"

Changbin backed away, his eyes flashing with concern.

"I'm sorry..."

"Fuck, Bin. You almost died. Because of me. Both of you. It was my fault."

"That's not true."

"It is! If you hadn't gone so slow for me, you two probably would've made it to the dressing room with everyone else!"

Changbin knew it was true. But it didn't make a difference.

"Felix, I could never live with myself knowing I let you die. Just because you're injured."

"You don't always need to be a fucking hero! Sometimes you're so fucking stupid!"

Felix pushed past him, making his way over to the heater on the other end of the bathroom and taking a seat.

"Lix, I'm not going to leave you behind. I'm never going to leave you behind. But that's not on you. It's on me. I accept that, okay?"

"I don't!"

"Hey, I know things are fucking insane right now, but we can't afford to raise our voices. If we're quiet, the zombies will start to go away. They're only drawn to our voices, so as long as they can't see us, they'll forget we're here," Jongho said and Changbin looked at the ground and nodded. Felix looked away.

Mingi cautiously stood and walked over to Han who was curled up against the wall, his knees pulled to his chest. He had his face pressed into his knees, and his back shook as he let out silent sobs. Changbin felt guilty for not even noticing.

"Hey, it's okay. You're safe now," Mingi smiled, sitting down next to him and putting an arm around his back.

"No we're not. We'll never be safe. We can't leave this room. We'll never get out of here. We're stuck. There's no way out."

Mingi went quiet, not sure how to respond.

They all went quiet.

No one really knew what was going on. No one knew how it happened. No one knew what was going on outside of the bathroom. No one knew where everyone else had ended up. No one knew anything.

And it was fucking terrifying.
