Y/N carefully combed his hair, while Tim next to him washed his face with water, the Schnees will be here in seconds.

I am nervous, I am meeting the father of the girl who brokened her heart.

Someone knocked on the door, Alfred walked down and opened it, it was the Schnees, all of them dressed up.

Mr. Schnee
"Good evening Mr. Pennyworth".

Alfred
"This way sir and madame".

Me and Tim quietly peered over the banister, looking at the family. Wiess was wearing a dark bluish dress, her brother and sister just looked normal.

Winter Schnee, she had crushed on Dick, they dated before, but nothing to serious. However, I heard him and her maybe getting married soon, I hope not, I don't want snobby nieces and nephews. Then again, Winter isn't like Wiess in some ways, she does work at Atlas Military​ Base.

Witley Schnee, a mere douche if I say, neither of us liked him. Dick even said the following "I want break his perfect teeth".

Don't even get me started on Mr. And Mrs. Schnee....

Bruce
"Y/N, Tim, Jason, Dick, come down and meet the Schnees!"

Dick opened his door, he really didn't want to see Winter, she is just as possessive as her little sister.

Tim and Jason didn't want to see Witley either, Jason overall wants to beat the hell out of him, and lately Witley has been... Touchy with him, Tim is dating someone at the moment.

"This is gonna suck...".

Dick
"You don't say, I'm going to meet the more crazier version of Wiess...".

Tim
"I'm going to meet Witley, the guy keeps saying weird stuff to me, gag reflex, anal, I told him I'm dating Velvet!".

Jason
"I'm glad I'm safe 😌".

Dick
"Come on, let's get this over with...".

The boys walked down the stairs, all of them (except Jason) was nervous meeting the Schnees.

Wiess didn't even glared at Y/N, Winter smiled at Dick, Witley just smirked and winked at Tim.

Dick
"Shall we eat?".

Alfred
"Everyone this way to the dining room".

All four of us huddled together, at least we felt safe with each other.

Of winter would approach Dick, and leaned against his shoulder.

Dick
"Yes Winter?".

Winter
"After this, wish to attend the Ball with me and my sister?".

Dick
"The ball is merely for Y/N and Wiess, but we can go somewhere else".

Winter
"What do you have in mind?".

Dick
"Anywhere".

The group arrived in the dining room, Wiess sat down next Y/N, making him even more nervous. Dick decided to sit next to him to make him feel somewhat better.

Dick thoughts
"Got you dude, were both in the same boat".

Everyone soon sat down and began eating, small talk was passed, Wiess didn't touch her plate at all.

Mr. Schnee
"Wiess Schnee, you haven't touched your plate at all".

Wiess
"So sorry father".

She began eating, I could tell she didn't feel comfortable with me. I accidentally dropped my fork on the ground, and reached under the table.

I guess she saw and wanted to help, because she dove down and tried to reach.

We then bumped heads, and grabbed hands together.

"I'm very sorry Wiess".

Wiess just turned red, and tried to look away and pulled her hand. But I held on, didn't know why, something just made he it longer.

Jason
"You okay under there?".

Both of them came back up, Y/N excused himself to the bathroom. Walking down the hallway, Y/N reached the bathroom, and washed his face.

I then heard beeping coming from my computer, I ran towards my room, and activated the BatX program, I'ma program that gives my computer the same functions as the supercomputer at the Batcave.

Dads informant, sent a message, Someone has placed a hit on Wiess!

"Who is the Merc?".

"Deathstroke!".

"Does he know where she will be?".

"Beacon Ballroom, Arcadia center".

"Thanks, stay safe".

I turned around to get my gear, I took off my vest, and replaced it with an armored version. My entire body is armored, and my tuxedo is covering it. Finally grabbing my bag, I took my helmet.

It's time for Red Hood to strike again

Y/N walked back down, Wiess was by the door, ready for the ball. Bruce quickly took Y/N into the other room, he heard the signal also.

Bruce
"Are you ready?".

"Safety's​ off".

Bruce
"I told Dick, Jason, and Tim, they'll be at standby".

"What about you dad?".

Bruce
"Someone placed a hit on the family, Black mask is doing this, I have to stay with them".

"I'll keep her safe, I promise".

Y/N walked past his dad, and grabbed Wiess by he hand, an act which shocked her.

"Let's go".

This is Deathstroke were talking about, Y/N isn't​ taking any chances. Getting in an armored car, they drove towards the Ball, with Dick and the rest following as security.

Wiess looked at Y/N, she saw how nervous and worried he was, something she has seen before, when he was trying to save her from Black mask's gang.
