You Could sense a presence outside your door. It was a small presence that had startled your silence.
A small squee was heard.

Walking towards your front door.
"Well if it isn't my little thing." You greeted the small boy that was drenched from the rain.
"What brings you here?"
"I was locked out of the house." Squee
Admitted.
"Well let's go bring you home. I'm sure your parents are worried sick. "

You picked Todd up and placed him on your back. Holding an umbrella you walked across town to put this stray boy back at home.
Why can't he stay at your house? Well your roommate hates kids and you had no place for him to sleep.

Later.
You climbed into the bedroom window and safely placed Todd in his bed.

You were just about to leave when
A back figure opened the window behind you.
It was a man covered in blood with cuts spralled all over his face.
"Hey Squee." He greets not even noticing you
"Just came here for a bandaid and to clean up."
