-3 days later-

"Hah!" You squealed as you were able to alright. The bullet was shot on your shoulder causing your shoulder bones to rip apart a bit but you went through an operation and now you were better. And considering the fact that Hoseok was with you all the time through thick and thin made you fall for him. But you tried to deny your feelings cause what if he doesn't feel the same? And moreover, what even are the chances for someone so cheerful and bright like him to fall for someone so cold and quiet person. Or maybe that's what you thought?

"I was thinking if chocolate sounds better with flowers or mint." Hoseok suddenly said as you let out a chuckle.

"Why?" You asked him while fixing your hair in front of the mirror while he was sitting on the edge of your bed thinking nonsense.

"No, I mean. I was thinking what makes people think it is awesome!" He said as you remembered Chanyeol. He used to say these. But this time, when you remembered him, you didn't feel the same butterflies in your stomach. You didn't feel the same. But why?

Did I fall out of his love? Maybe cause I found someone new?

You thought. 

"Hoseok.." You said as he looked at you confused. You took a breath and continued.

"Is it disloyal if you fall out of someone's love and love someone new?" You asked but you yourself didn't know which part of you was stupid much to ask him.. or at least 'him'. 

He looked kind of astonished but he shrugged answering you anyways.

"No. Of course not! We aren't the ones who control our hearts. Our heart controls itself. And sometimes a situation comes when a new person's arrival makes our heart feel better than the person we are already with. It can happen with a person or things. There's no surety. And it's not disloyalty. Cause following your heart isn't wrong. Instead, it's good for everyone around you and yourself of course." He said as you looked down. 

Maybe he is right. Love can't be forced and the heart can't be controlled. You took a breath as you finished fixing your hair.

"Ready to go?" He asked as you nodded. Today Hoseok asked you if you could go to the art museum with him. Art was something you always loved as well and the museum you were going had an art you made as well which made you more excited to see your art after years. 

-time skip-

You both were walking here and there checking the arts while Hoseok clicked a few pictures of the arts. Suddenly your eyes fell on the painting you made years ago. The painting you always loved. The painting had your real name "Kang Naji." 

You went closer to the painting as your fingers slightly brushed with it you looked at the painting as the past memories started flashing in your mind. How you drew it with Chanyeol. It was hard yet you managed to make the painting and submit it in the museum for display. You were looking at the painting with the most soulful eyes as your lips made its way upwards. But you didn't that Hoseok was standing right beside you.

"Kang Naji." He said grabbing your attention. He was reading the nameplate and you thought he was calling you.

"She has the same surname as you. Wow!" He said as you chuckled.

"Huh?" He asked in confusion.

"It's me. My name is Kang Naji." You said but he looked at you in pure confusion.

"Your name is Y/N then Naji?" He asked as you took out your phone showing him your birth certificate which had your real name as well your face.

J-Hope had already seen your face in the hospital which was a kind of weird situation at that moment but still you wore a mask not because of him but because of being in disguise.

He looked shocked.

"Your real name is Naji?" He asked as you nodded chuckling. 

"Let me tell you my story." You said as he nodded.

You both got out of the museum walking on the roads as you told him your story. Your eyes left some tears but you didn't care. J-Hope consoled you which maybe you needed years ago but at least you have it now. It still has its importance. 

Even if the consolation is given today or tomorrow, it still has its own importance. 

"Do you still love him?" Hoseok asked you while you were licking your ice cream as you stiffened.

"I- I d-don't know." You stuttered as he chuckled.

"Why? Do you like someone else now?" He asked.

"Maybe.." You said.

"Who?" He asked but you just looked at him smiling.

"Someone who doesn't know it yet." You said but J-Hope felt sad. He wasn't sure that he had feelings for you until now. When he heard that you like someone, he felt sad because he thought it isn't him. 

-2 weeks later-

Even though J-Hope knew about your past he didn't change his behaviour towards you and by this time, you were sure your heart had a soft spot for him. And you knew you love him but what about him? Does he feel the same? How do you know?

Usually, J-Hope comes to pick you up at this time(Evening) to walk in the park but today he didn't come. You waited for an hour and decided to go to the park by yourself and see if he is there.

As you walked by you went near a lonely tree as you heard some faint sobs. You went closer to see a crying J-Hope. You were beyond shock. You thought he didn't have any reason to cry and he was always happy but sometimes the happiest people have the deadliest sorrows. 

You heard him mumbling as you went near.

"I don't think s-she l-loves me. B-but it's o-okay. A-at l-least she ha-as s-om-meo-one.... b-better." He said but you were confused why was he saying these?

"I h-hope s-she st-ays h-happy.. N-naj-ji.." He said as your eyes widened. That means he has feelings for you too. You weren't the only idiot thinking about one-sided love in this field. 

"Hoseok." You said as he turned stiff. He turned around to see you looking at him with the loveliest eyes. 

You saw him kinda pouting as his nose was red due to crying which softened your heart. Without wasting a second, you hugged him. For the first time, you hugged him which made him confused but shocked at the same time.

"I love you I love you I love you and only you. When I needed someone to console me, you did. When I needed someone to help me get out of the cage I was hiding in for years, you did. When I needed to be the old Naji again.. you made me it. I will always love you because you were the light to my dark who helped me go through the 'Journey of the Light.' You said as Hoseok hugged you back.

"I love you too." He said as you cupped his cheeks wiping his tears while yours flew endlessly although you didn't care.

You pecked his lips as you saw him blushing like a cutie pie making you chuckle.

"Aww so cute!" You said but he looked away scratching his neck.

"But you are a mafia.. it can be dangerous for you to be with a normal person like me. I can't even protect you." He said but you just chuckled.

"I can leave this dark world too you know." You said as he nodded. 

"Let's go!" He said dragging you in between the kids and this time, you enjoyed with them. You really did. Even though you got a new love, Chanyeol would always be your first love and first everything. He would always be your special one. But now it was time to move on. It was time to move on to the Journey to the Light.
