Y/N's POV:

Today is our one month anniversary and I am in a cafe right now disguised as a normal girl buying Hamburgers and sprite. I already bought some chocolates. And now all I need is the courage to say a thank you. A thank you isn't hard to say but for me it is more than a war. (War of Hormone) 

"Thanks." I mumbled to the cafe waitress as she gave me the parcels. I went outside and headed towards the park as I saw J-Hope, playing with kids as usual. 

"Hey." I said. For the first time in our one month friendship I said hello to him first. Or else it's him everytime nagging while I ignore him.

"Hello!" He said as I nodded.

"How are you?" I asked him as he looked at me checking me out confused.

"Do you have a fever or are you sick? Wait did you hit your head on something?" He said as I felt like laughing. 

"No." I responded but he didn't seem convinced. He fakely nodded smiling awkwardly. His smile is never fake. Why does he always smile? Does it make you happy? 

"Anyways I am fine! And how are you?" He asked as I nodded with a small smile unknowingly. I quickly fixed my face as I realized I was smiling. He smile obviously at me as if he already saw me smiling.

"Yeah I am fine." I answered as he clapped his hands out of nowhere.

"What brings you here?" He asked.

"Oh umm." I stuttered as I handed him the bag of hamburgers and sprite. He took it looking confused but then he opened the bag and took out the piece of paper I prepared. I knew I wouldn't be able to speak so I made a little paper card for him which said, "Happy 1 month of our friendship." 

He read it as he smiled fondly looking back at me. I looked down kind of embarrassed because I have never did something like this in years. 

"Thank you!" He suddenly squealed as he hugged me. I froze. The hug gave me different warmth. It didn't feel unfamiliar or uncomfortable but safe and comfortable. He pulled away giving me a grin as I gave him a small smile. This time, knowing it.

Wait. Am I by any chance...changing?

Author's POV:

You both spent the day walking around the roads and talking. You smiled a few times in between your mask as he kept laughing, giggling or chuckling the whole time. 

Right now, you were sitting on your chair on the balcony of your mansion. Looking at the sky remembering what you did the whole day. Although you didn't laugh or talk much but you did enjoy.
All the moments you spent there reminded of yourself from a few years ago. How you used to be so cheerful, happy and wonderful!

You unknowingly smiled and felt something inside you. A tingling and euphoric feeling in your stomach.
You felt like this years ago when you were with Chanyeol.
Wait..am I falling in love?
You thought. But you couldn't. You couldn't just let your heart slip for that man. You couldn't fall in love once again. You couldn't be hurt like before again.

J-Hope's POV:

I didn't expect her to remember our 1 month anniversary.
Everytime I think about her, I feel something warm inside of me. Something tingling..
Wait am I falling in love with her?
It wouldn't be a wrong thing to do so but I don't think she would ever feel the same with me. She is really cold. Although, she is actually not as bad or heartless as she looks like but still falling in love would be risky for sure.

Author's POV:

"Ahh." You groaned as you opened your eyes letting your eyes meet the light of the morning. You got freshened up as you went towards the park where you usually meet J-Hope. Sometimes you wondered if it was his real name or he used a fake name like you. But why would he? He ain't a mafia or something like this. 

You were walking in the park. Your hands in your hoodie pocket. Your face covered with a mask revealing your sparkling bambi eyes. And for a fun fact, J-Hope never saw your full face properly. Everytime he would see you, you would be in a mask to avoid letting people know about your identity. He only saw your face that night but you weren't sure if he ever saw your proper face but that didn't matter cause he never asked you to show your face as if he could already see it. Surely, he was weird but in a good way ofcourse.

"Hey!" You heard someone calling you as you turned around to see J-Hope panting as if he was running since a long time.

"Hey." You said.

"Are you deaf?" He asked making you frown.

"I was running towards you calling you but you don't respond." He said as you looked at him confused. Maybe you didn't notice cause you were in deep thought.

"Umm sorry." You said.

"Wait what? Why are you even saying sorry? You never say these words?" J-Hope looked at you kinda astonished by your behaviour.

"Then get used to it." You said turning around as you started walking. 

"Woah! The Queen is changing I see!" He said making you stop on your tracks as you looked at him confused.

"Umm maybe that's what you think." He said confused himself as you sighed playfully.

"Let's go for a walk." You said as you walked while he followed your tracks.

"By the way! How are you doing?" He said as you nodded smiling. He understood you were doing fine.

"I am fine too!" Even if you asked him or not, but he always answered your questions and you didn't mind cause it helped you to know about him better than asking him because it was hard for you anyways.

"I got you something!" He said as you looked at him raising a brow.

"Uhh I am sorry for forgetting our one month friendship anniversary but here is a little gift." He said rubbing his neck shyly as you smiled giving him a little nod. He handed you the box as you mumbled a little 'thank you' to him.
