Lionel's POV

"I'll be leaving for awhile, I hope you understand."

She let go of my hand without any expressions from her face. I can't even distinguish it if she's sad that she'll be leaving me....

"Will I wait for you...?

She just smiled and continued to walk away. She didn't even say goodbye to me or say the 4 letter word that we would always share.

"I love you..."

I mumbled to myself. I felt hollow inside, like I've been rob of my dignity. Her absence turned me like this, trying most possible ways to hide the dull eyes where she, could only lit up.

I was dumb that time that I promised myself...

I will wait for her.

But her smile is fading, I can't seem to reach her hand no matter how fast I run. She's starting to fade from my sight and that's when I can't see her anymore. I dropped my knees to the ground, still looking at the direction she vanished. I was tearing up.

By the time I almost cried nonstop, a light out of nowhere appeared in front of me. It was blinding that I covered my face with my arms. A hand from that light revealed.

"If you open your heart to me, I will give you the light your eyes has been searching..."

The voice from the light said.

"I will give you happiness,
be mine—"

Lio—, nel, Lione—,

Lionel!!"

I shot up from my bed, panting heavily and sweating hard. What the fudge!! I glanced at my side drawer and looked at my alarm clock. It said 7:48 a.m. Man...what's with the screaming so early in the morning?

"Lionel!! Get up and take your lazy ass in the shower...!"

My mom yelled from behind the door. Man....I was tired, shitty tired. I got off the bed and throw all my clothes in the hamper and got a nice cold shower. I wished I was a merman....

"I already packed your things, including school things..."

I gagged the caramel flavored coffee out of my mouth because of what I heard. "Mom!? Are you really serious about this!? Are you really going to send me to that stupid prince?!"

"Son, watch your mouth, he's the prince, and we can't do anything about it. You bear the mark, nothings gonna change that fact." Dad added. I felt like my world crumble to pieces. My Lord, help me.

"Well, he could just marry my tattoo and not me."

"Son, just accept it..." my dad reassured me.

"Stupid mark!, Stupid embicile Prince!!" I mumbled while trying to open my cereal meal that's still enclosed in a box.

"Now, now, that's not a nice thing to say about me..."

"Prince Grey, you're here.!!" Everyone except me in the room gasps.

What! He's just a stupid embicile prince.

"Hey, stop spitting bad words like how embicile and stupid a prince I am in your head Lion...I'm not that kind of prince."

I flinched at what I heard. Did he just read my damn mind?

"I did not read your mind."

"There! You read it again." The same time I turned around and pointed him like he was the criminal who killed one of my relatives.

There he was standing with all his glory. He was wearing all white. White tuxedo, and white coat that reach his knees. Except his shoes and the scarf that are black colored. He walked into the counter and sat beside me. I saw something shine on his neck, it was a necklace. Wait...that necklace looks familiar.... I just can't put my finger into it.

"Nice to meet you.again. Lionel! Its been what?! 8 years since we last saw each other." He gave me a sheepish smile.

"You're annoying..."

I mumbled, but I know he heard it.

"Hey, stop being a brat and grow up. You'll be marrying me and what would the kingdom say if they found out that my soon to be wife is a brat?"

"Shut up Grey, who says I'll approved to this marriage? I'd rather die virgin"

"Then, I will take your virginity first before grim reaper takes your life."

I felt all my blood rushed to my face. I tried to look at the other direction to hide my face but the idiot grabbed my chin and tried to make me look at him.

"Look at me, Lion."

He commanded, I looked at him with a pout.

"The way you're calling my name sounded like your taming an animal." Then he smirked. He leaned down into my ear and whispered something.

"I am taming you to be my wife, and most of all, I'm taming your heart, got that?"

I think my face looks like a tomato right now. Its so hot that I can't breath. I better not let my guard down when he's around.

"Ehem..."

My father cleared his throat. His hand let go of me and I immediately look at the other side, feeling embarrassed that he just flirt  with me right in front of my parents.

"So...its settled, well be leaving now"

I shot up from my seat and slam both of my hands in the table.

"What!!??..I told you! I didn't approve of mph..!!"

I was cut off when he just kiss me. My eyes widened at the sudden action and I heard a few gasps around the room. I felt something solid is being pushed inside my mouth, it was sweet. He pulled away from me and I felt light headed by that. I'm feeling sleepy.

"I feel sleep—"

Before I could drop to the floor I felt a pair of arms catch me. And soon darkness envelope me in just a matter of seconds.
