I made a lie about the military school of the Zuruspam Kingdom, one of our 12 family branch, that it was a dangerous camp to be in. I can't risk Lionel's safety and I don't want to repeat what's already been done. Once.

And to top it all, there is this rumored group that opposes me, to be the new heir. And they want me dead, but they know that every bloodline of our family has an extraordinary power that no one can comprehend, that's why our family has been chosen to rein and protect our land. I know its a cliche thing but the only way that we could be defeated is by killing our fated one. Since they hold half of our power, we need to mark each other in time of the blood moon. And this certain group, they call themselves as black ravens, has already plotting some acts towards my Lion, that's why I don't want him anywhere out of my sight.

The car came to a halt at exactly 7 a.m. where the trainees are already lined up in front of a platform. I spotted Lionel's friend, Tyron, but I can't see him anywhere. The guy with a huge stomach kept talking when his eyes darted to me and his eyes widen.

"Prince Earl." I just glared at him and motioned Tyron to come to me. He neared me immediately.

"Prince Grey." He bowed.

"Where's Lionel." I coldly asked. His eyes widen for a second but immediately replaced it with a sad look.

"We were inside the cabin all night and when I woke up this morning, he was gone. I don't know where he went that's why our advisers is readying us to conduct search party." He explained as I watched him with furrowed eyebrows.

"You people better find him or else, I will have to bring punishment to all of you!" I shouted. Then immediately, the advisers dismissed the students and head out to the forest.

Luckily, I brought with me my four most reliable assassins/bodyguards with me. I quickly signaled the two of them and then they were off to the forest to search for him. "Come." I gestured to the two remaining.

The forest was just an easy place to explore, how could Lionel get lost here? There are tons of cleared pathway and there are many signs. Indeed truly made to take a long rocky jog to strengthen the muscles in your body.

"Lionel...!" I yelled through the forest. I've been walking here for more than an hour now, and I'm getting more furious than what I've ever felt when I found out Lionel decided to ride along with his crew. I can also heard other voices calling him but still all of it were useless.

"Lionel!" I called once again as my two bodyguards jumped up from trees to trees above me. Suddenly, a felt a cold gust of wind caressed my right cheek and at the same time, I heard laughter's.

"Sir." One of my bodyguard gestured to me, pointing to something that looks like somewhat a group of fireflies trying to catch my attention, telling me some direction. So without hesitation, I followed it. Who knows by the end of the track, it would lead me to him.

I followed the path for about 5 minutes, and I came into a cliff. Did Lionel fall from here? I rub my palms together and soon, specks of ice started to form. I faced my hand directly on the cliff and freeze it, making somewhat like a slide. I quickly slide down while summoning my gun in hand with fire bullets.

But when I saw what was in front of me, I was taken aback. It was a wall of colorful butterflies. I neared and touch it then all of them flew away clearing the path for me. And what I saw, was a lake, covered by fogs.

"Lionel! Are you here?!" I called as I readied my gun to shoot if anything decided to advanced before me. I scanned my eyes over the surroundings, there is this some kind of lake, and then a withered tree on the center. Weird.

I took a step closer to the lake to take a closer look. I studied it for a second while crouching on the ground when suddenly, a hand grab me by my ankles. I immediately pointed my gun on it to fire but only to stop.

"Lionel." I called out and hauled him out of the water. He was panting real hard, drench in water. "Hey, are you alright?" I asked again.

He lifted his palm on me, indicating to wait, so I waited as he tried to catch his breath. He lifted his head and looked ahead, and that's when I noticed, his hair has grown some specks of blue strands.

He has obtain the blessing of the water bearer.

I thought to myself. Once he completed on collecting the bearers of the earth guardians, and to add the marking ceremony during the blood moon, our powers will reach its full extent and prevent the earth from withering in the hands of the black ravens.

Just what the prophecy told.

"I just slept underwater. Thank goodness I haven't died down there." Lionel mumbled as he let his body lay down in the grassy ground, still catching his breath.

I stood up from the ground dustying myself and immediately lifted my Lion up; carrying him bridal style.

"What the!? Put me down asshole!?" He protested as he wriggle his arms around trying to break free. I change the position and now I was carrying him like a sack over my shoulder, so he ransack my back. Pounding real hard but it didn't affect me.

I rummage through my pocket and found my little bottle of candies. Not the literal candies for children, but candies to make someone sleep. I pop one into my mouth and hauled my Lion again in my arms, carrying him bridal style again. I grab his head and immediately placed my mouth unto him, deepining the kiss so that I can pushed the candy to his mouth. And successfully, it slid in, but still, I didn't remove my mouth from his, well just enjoy the moment for awhile.

Finally, his body started to limp, indicating that the candy has taken an effect on him. Good. I watch his face for a awhile before walking, and he was just damn beautiful. He was like an angel. He stirred on his sleep, but then, his face broke out the most fascinating smile a sleeping person could muster. It was heavenly.

I smiled. "Sleep tight, love." And I kissed his forehead.
