I bet you guys have been waiting for this chapter to happen. I won't delay you any longer...

Astrin stepped into the area that Add had cleared although the smoke was already slowly disappearing. "You've gotten in my way for the last time," Astrin said but Add ignored his words and focused on his actions. One wrong move and Add could end up like those guards or be at the mercy of Astrin's blade. He hoped that Astrin was so blinded by his revenge that he didn't even think of using that instantaneously fatal poison of his.
"Uneasy I see. You don't really know what I'm capable of. How about I show you," Astrin said with a smirk. He lounged forward with his sword which Add dodged but he was still hit by one of Astrin's spells that threw him off balance. Add was on the ground only for a couple of seconds though, springing backwards to put some distance between him and Astrin. Astrin charged at him again but this time, Add decided to charge as well instead of attempting to dodge Astrin's attack.
Add successfully backfliped over Astrin who had assumed Add would duck and had aimed his blade downward at the last minute. While he was still in the air, three of Add's dynamos gathered around his hand and he attacked Astrin's back with an electrical pulse of energy. Astrin staggered forward but swung his blade again before Add could fully make his recovery which left Add with no option other than to dodge the blade. He began to feel the edges of his clothes singe as he continued to dodge several consecutive fire based attacks.
Add was tired of this though and decided to attempt an attack. He risked letting himself get burned a little just to strike Astrin in the chest with another pulse of energy that stunned him and caused him to lose balance. Add winced at the pain that the slight burn had caused but ignored it from there on as he dashed forward and hit Astrin with two electrical shocks followed by an electrical blast. Astrin was blown a good distance away from him when the attack landed and Add himself was surprised at how much energy could be generated from his dynamos.
He didn't exactly know how to fully use them nor did he know their potential so he could only fight on instinct. Seeing what his dynamos could really do sort of amazed him but he didn't let himself get caught up in the moment. Astrin had gotten up and was charging at him again, his sword now on fire. Add knew he couldn't just repeat his actions but he couldn't dodge either since Astrin had lit his sword aflame. He couldn't just stand there either but what else could he do?
Add's dynamos acted on their own though and erupted with power that surrounded him and caused him to begin floating off of the ground. This action alone was enough to keep Astrin from coming near him since he probably didn't know what to expect but neither did Add. He was barely able to keep himself steady as he floated, confused as to why his dynamos had done what they'd done. Unfortunately, Astrin noticed this and continued his charge which sent Add into panic.
He directed the energy downwards to try to create a distraction but instead, something much better happened. The energy broke through the ground and a series of electrical explosions bursted from the ground in front of him, traveling right to Astrin. Add was glad that he was able to do something but he felt the energy that he'd just used leave him after the attack. "You little brat! You're no mage yet you're able to use magic? You possess no type of training either and yet you're able to carry out such a destructive attack!" Astrin growled as he stood up seemingly unphased by Add's attack which scared him.
He saw the attack's destructive power and yet Astrin was completely unharmed. Again Add attacked, sending a blast of energy from his dynamos but it hit what seemed to be a shield of some sort before even getting to Astrin. "You like my skill? It's called Repel. You can't hurt me anymore. I've got enough mana to keep this thing up until I kill you but I think I'll torture you first," Astrin said. Add wanted to attack again but his dynamos deceased their power output and he stopped floating.
Add resisted the strong urge to mutter a curse and he kept his fear from showing. Astrin really could kill him and Ara had been right. He had everything at his disposal. Lucky for Add, he had sent the guards after Helputt but unlucky for Add, Astrin was too strong for him to take on alone but he had no choice. Astrin was his problem and he wanted to solve it but his energy was running low. Suddenly Astrin disappeared and Add's thoughts scattered. He didn't even get to look for Astrin before he was grabbed from behind and slammed to the ground.
He was seriously tired of getting up close and personal with floors. His arm was uncomfortably pinned behind his back and his hair was being pulled so that his face didn't come in contact with the floor. "You're weak and pathetic. I won't lose to scum like you. Once I dispose of you, I'll take Ara. She'll be a nice queen. If only your mother was with you though. Then she could have been the queen," Astrin whispered into his ear which only enraged him but Add couldn't do anything.
He was unable to retaliate since Astrin was pinning him down, probably without even using very much of his weight at all. Despite this, Add still struggled to break free, to somehow escape and do something. His dynamos didn't respond and it was likely because he himself was disabled. He'd designed them to react to his movement so if he was pinned down, then they would act as if they were as well. They also reacted to his brain activity, which he considered to be a great technological advancement on his part, but at the moment, his thoughts were not permitted to gather. They were blocked by the pain that Astrin was causing.
"Why aren't you saying anything? You should be begging for me to let you go or at least threatening for me to leave Ara alone. Go ahead, Add. Beg for me to release you," Astrin said. Add only growled in anger, not wanting to give Astrin the satisfaction of winning. In response, Astrin bent Add's arm in a very unnatural way causing Add to involuntarily let out a small cry of discontent. "I said beg. Go ahead and beg you little worm," Astrin growled but Add remained silent, still trying his best to break free.
Astrin pulled on Add's arm, making it bend even further beyond natural limits to which Add could not hold back his cry of pain. "If you keep resisting, I'll break it. I'm sure you don't want that now do you? How could you fight me with a broken arm?" Astrin said as he pulled Add's hair even more. Then Add suddenly heard what he was almost certain was Ara's voice as she called out to him. "What bad timing. I was hoping to get to Ara after dealing with you," Astrin mused.
At once, a thought formed in Add's mind and it was clear enough to be picked up by his dynamos. "I'll kill you," he thought, the murderous intent that he'd felt earlier returning to him. His dynamos instantly reacted, shooting up from the ground and hovering in a circle right above Astrin's head. They emitted a high frequency that Add himself had created just for the purpose of causing physical damage and Astrin let him go to get away from the dynamos. Add brought his weapon back to him and struck Astrin who was holding his head in pain.
Add got up from the ground, glaring at Astrin, for in that very moment when Astrin had pushed him to his limits, Add snapped. Without his knowledge, his power level rose beyond its natural limits and collected plasma until there was none left to collect. The sheer force of the power that Add had gather was too much for him to handle and he was barely able to stand but he managed to hold himself steady. He began to float just a little, enough to be able to keep from touching the ground.
For a split second, Add could see what he recognized to be fear in Astrin's eyes and he smirked despite the intense pain he was feeling. It was as if he was being pulled apart which was much worse than just his arm being bent unnaturally...or was it? He didn't really know. All he did was force the energy away from him with the thrust of his hand as his dynamos released all of that energy into a single explosion that was focused on Astrin. Not really unexpectedly, the explosion backfired on Add as well which sent him backwards and away from Astrin.
He found himself in much less pain but he was extremely sore and tired. He couldn't just lie there though. Astrin probably wasn't taken down by his attack and could have been trying to go after Ara. Add slowly lifted himself up from the floor and stood quite well on his own despite some of the possible internal injuries that he might have been suffering from. He spotted Astrin unmoving among rubble that seemed to have come from the ceiling and assumed that Astrin would not be getting back up.
"Add!" Ara could be heard calling. Add could hear her running towards him but he didn't bother to turn around. For one, he was too tired to, but he also wanted to make sure that Astrin didn't get up before turning his back on him. Add was suddenly embraced, being hugged from behind by none other than Ara. She had buried her face into his back and part of his neck which almost caused him to fall over but he kept himself steady, still unsure of Astrin's fate. "I thought he was about to kill you," Ara said in a low, almost inaudible voice. He couldn't hear her crying but he could tell that she was. "Hey, let's go you two! It's best that we not stay in here for long!" Helputt shouted to them.
"Will you be able to walk on your own? I won't help unless you want me to," Ara said to him but he didn't bother to respond, still staring at the spot where Astrin lay. He couldn't believe it was actually over but of course there were things that needed to be taken care of but they would have to wait. Add didn't resist Ara's help and he let his arm rest over Ara's shoulders as they slowly walked towards the dining room exit that was already half broken. His dynamos, despite having done such a power draining task, we still just as functional as they were when he activated them.
"You alright? Well of course not. There's no way you could be okay after fighting and defeating General Astrin. But that move of yours was spectacular. I've never seen an explosion quite like it. What do you call it?" Helputt said as Ara walked Add out. Chung was nearby and he held a handgun of some sort that was likely from one of the guards, most of which were passed out on the ground and freed from Astrin's control. "What are you talking about?" Add asked.
"That explosion of course. It has to have a name. Any skill like that one has to have a name. It makes it seem more powerful and you'll also know what it is instead of just calling it that explosion thing whenever you mention it, so what will you call it? You can name it anything," Helputt said. Despite his somewhat cheerful demeanor and attitude, Add could easily tell how angry and uncertain Helputt was. "I guess I'll call it Doom's Day then," Add said without much thought as he still walked alongside Ara. "Doom's Day, huh. Not too bad I guess. Your enemies might not like it too much but they shouldn't anyway. You seem like you're about to pass out though. Why don't we get you to your room," Helputt said.
"What about the king or all of the damages or the-" Add was saying. "Don't worry about it. You've done enough," Helputt interrupted. Add didn't bother to continue or argue with him so he just kept silent. "We took care of the guards too but they all fell down for some reason at one point. We were able to notify one that was unaffected and she went to contact the red knights. I was able to fight effectively without using Eun's power too! It wasn't as good or as cool as it was last time, but my fighting was pretty decent. Helputt helped me out by attacking without using his missles. Chung even helped too! Helputt taught him how to aim for people's knees so that he didn't kill anyone since that wasn't our goal," Ara said.
She seemed to be happy about it but even she couldn't hide the sadness and uncertainty in her voice. "Yeah, Chung will be able to learn some new things now. I've decided to train him. He promised to work super hard and everything. He's a good shot you know. Not once did he miss when he fired that thing," Helputt said as patted Chung's back who smiled sheepishly. "I'll save countless of lives just like you. You'll see," Chung said with plenty of confidence. He already seemed to be doing better which made sense especially with Astrin's power not taking any affect on him anymore.
Add had gotten too weak at that point though and had to stop walking. It was already hard enough for him to avoid stepping on any of the still knocked out guards. "Hey, you need to take a break," Ara said after he'd stumbled twice. "No, I'm fine," Add stubbornly said, not really wanting to stop. He was not okay and his body was beginning to shutdown on its own. "Allow me to take your place, Ara. I'm sure he just needs a bit of rest before continuing though," Helputt said. Ara suddenly seemed to go on edge though and she let Add rest on the ground as she quickly turned around and activated Eun's power but Chung had acted faster, already putting himself in harms way to protect the life of his father.
Yes, Astrin apparently wasn't dead and had gotten hold of his sword. How the general had been able to go unnoticed until then was a mystery but what they all knew was that he had stabbed Chung with the intention of stabbing Helputt. Astrin didn't seem to care who he attacked though and had pulled the sword from where it had been in Chung's chest but the boy did not fall and instead fired his handgun once, twice, a third time. One shot for each knee and then his hand. Chung didn't aim to kill but he would certainly die from his wound.
