Neil turning the alarm off and stares Avni who snuggles into his chest. He smiles and bending down pecks her forehead.

He gently untangles himself from her and gets down the bed. He went to washroom to fresh up.

Ruffling his wet hair and wrapped in towel he comes out of the washroom and found Avni still asleep.

He chuckles and recalls how last two weeks has been difficult for both them.

It's has been two weeks since the incident took place. Avni was recovering turmoil she went through. Her bruises were healed but she still fears remembering.

In between she got few nightmares but that has also stopped. Neil was taking her care of her. He stood beside her all the time she needed him. Both were more closer than before.

She couldn't leave any chance to hug him or starts clinging to him, though he doesn't mind. In fact he loves it when she close to him.

It has been rollercoaster since the incident took place. Both of them were healing from their past by with each other support and love.

Neil smiles and opens his closet. He pulls his attire out and moves to bed.

He placed it down and starts to get dressed. He glances in between at Avni who pretended to sleep.

Neil chuckles and thought to tease her.

Neil : I know you're awake Avni. I don't mind if you stare my body. I know I am hot and sexy. I definitely don't mind it though.

All he heard was her giggle and covering her face. Neil giggles and wore his shirt. He moves closer to her and unbuttoning his shirt buttons bends down pulls the duvet over her face and calls her name out softly.

Neil : opens your eyes..

He caressed her cheek lovingly. She opens her eyes and stares him. Her cheeks crimson and her stomach filled with butterflies.

Neil smiles and pecks her head softly.

Neil : morning. Why are you blushing dear? I didn't do anything yet..

She blushed again and using all the power, she pushed him and getting down the bed rushed into washroom.

Neil chuckles loudly and ruffling his hair starts buttoning his shirt buttons.

Neil ties the tie around his neck and tucked it perfectly. He then moves to dressing table ana brushed his hair. He then pulls a drawer and took his watch out and wore it on his wrist.

He picks up the favourite brand perfume and sprayed it on himself.

He puts the bottle down and glancing himself last time in the mirror walks away to get his phone and bag.

He checked few emails as he sat down on couch waiting for Avni come to out.

Neil lifts his head up hearing footsteps. He passed her a smile as she walks out of the washroom wrapped in a towel.

Neil : do you want me to leave?

Avni shook her head and starts moving to Neil's closets, soon to be theirs.

They got so comfortable with each other over the two weeks doesn't need hide anything from each other. They had faith and believe and trust between what they are sharing.

Neil smiles and chucking his thoughts away got back to reading the emails.

Avni pulling her attire she walks to bed and starts getting ready, very aware of his gaze on her. She didn't feel uncomfortable or insecure showing the scars to him. She knew what she was doing and how much trust she was on him.

She pulls of a white shirt and black skirt with falls to her mid knees. She wore the greyish blazer on top.

She then moves to dressing table and combed her hair and applied mineral make up on.

She wore a watch on her wrist and wore his favourite perfume to smell like him. She loves his cologne.

Picking her phone up and bag she walks to Neil and calls his name out gaining his attention.

Neil closing his phone looks up and gets up while smiling.

He cups her head and kissed her forehead.

Neil: will you be okay? You know you can skip it today.

Avni : Neil. Stop being childish. I will handle everything. I don't care what people think about us.

Neil had a proud smile hearing her. He nodded his head and holds her hand in his.

She smiles and follows him out of the room. They got down the stairs and saw their maid arranging the table.

They both greeted her and sat down. They both had their breakfast while catching up few things in between.

Neil finished eating and looks at Avni who was still eating.

Neil wipes his mouth and sat there waiting for her to finish up. He didn't say word or rushed her to complete the breakfast but made her take her time.

Avni's heart flutters seeing his concern. She ate much as she could and  pushed the plate.

Avni : I don't like this look of yours. I can't eat anymore Neil. My stomach will burst out if I continue eating. I will become pig if you keep feeding me like this.

Neil rolls his eyes at her remarks and stood up gesturing her to come quick.

He took his belongs and headed towards his car. He opens the car and sat on the driver seat and waits for Avni to join him.

A second later he saw her running. He chuckles and rolls the window and yelling at her to be carefully.

She opens the door and sat down closing the door.

Avni : sorry.. I got you late too.

Neil : I don't mind it Avni. I am the boss. Remember.

Avni : yeah. You are allowed to anything. You own the rules... I am the boss remember.

She mimicked his last sentence. Neil giggles and gestures her seatbelt. He smiles and drove to office.

Neil stops in the car park and looks at Avni who was excited to be back to work.

Neil held her hand and kissed back her hand making her heartbeats stop for a minute. She smiles at him.

Neil : you don't have to worry about anyone. Any complain just come and tell me. I will not let them harm you. Okay.

Avni nodded her head and opening the door comes out of the car and closing her eyes felt the breeze hitting her face.

She opens her eyes and looks at Neil who stood next to her. She gave him a assuring smile and walks towards the entrance.

As they both entered they felt gazes on them. Neil totally ignores it and went to his cabin straight away.

Avni held her breath in and smiles looking at shivangi who returns it back.

Shivangi: hello Avni. Good to see you back. Missed you a lot.

Avni : thank you shivangi. And I'm sorry about that. Neil was worried..

Shivangi : oh silly. It's okay. He has right to scold me. I was fault in that. I am glad you're safe and back to work.

Avni : yeah.. did something happened in my absence? Everyone is giving me a dirty look.

Shivangi : they are just jealous Avni. They are not you. You don't heed to them.

Avni : oh well. I will see you later. We will meet up during lunch.

Shivangi nodded her head and got back to work while Avni glancing the girls who was throwing looks at Avni went to desk and settled down.

She turns the computer on and checked the emails.

Neil and his pa were having conversations when they heard a knock.

Neil : come in..

Neil looks up and saw Avni.

Avni : am I disturbing you?

Neil : no! You ain't. Do you want something?

Avni : yes. My computer is slow.. can I use your laptop?

Neil: yes! Its on my desk. Take it.

Avni: thank you Neil.

She didn't glanced his Pa who was staring them in  a shock. Neil looks back at his Pa and saw her shocked.

Neil : Miss neha. Where are you lost?

Neha comes out of her world and looks at Neil feeling embarrassed.

Neha : sorry sir..

Avni : Neil... what is your password?

Neil : come here..

She walks to with the laptop in her hand and passed it him.  He types the password and gave it back to her.

Neil : do you need to be on your desk? If not then you can work here.

Avni : won't I be disturbing you? I mean...

Neil : you wouldn't.. it's fine. You can work here. I have few meetings to attend. I will meet you later..

He got up and gestures neha to leave. Neha leaves not before glaring Avni.

Neil cups Avni's face and looks at her.

Neil : I want to protect you. I don't want then to hurt you. Just work in my office. I will announce it soon.

Avni : Neil. You need to stop stressing. I am not a weak person as you may think.

Neil : I know but my heart can't stop help it. I want to protect you.

Avni : I understand you Neil. How long will behave like this?

Neil : I promise.. I will give you all freedom very soon. Just few more days. Please.

Avni simply nods her head and sitting on Neil's chair starts working while Neil picking a file walks out of the cabin to attend his meeting.
