Neil who was in his study room glancing at the clock he closing the file and stood up.  He turning the lights off, he walks out of the room.

He starts walking towards his room when he felt uneasy, he stops at Avni's room and pushing the door lightly he got shocked seeing her body shaken up.

He immediately understood she was having a nightmare. He rushed inside the room and her whole body covered in sweat, her breaths getting even as she tried to control herself, her body tightened under the duvet.

Neil sat beside her and starts softly caressing her hairs. He then starts whispering few words trying to control.

He held her hand.

Neil. : calm down. I am here with you. Please open your eyes.

Neil bends down trying to listen her whispering few words. His heart broke seeing her this state.

He didn't understand how to get her conscious back. He looks at her face then muttering a sorry he pulls her in a hug.

He rubbed her back calming her down. He couldn't let her suffer.

Neil tilts his head side away feeling her body calm and relax. He broke the hug and carefully laid her back down on the bed.

He covers her duvet and caressing her cheek bending down pecks her forehead.

He got up and was about to leave but stopped as he felt her hand touching his. He turns around and saw her holding his hand tightly.

He smiles lightly as she opens her eyes faintly and looks at him, her voice comes out as a whisper as she spoke staring him faintly.

Avni : please stay me...

He looks at her and was in dilemma thinking would it be good idea to stay back or not. He couldn't disobey her words either.

Neil nodding his head climbs back on bed and laid down keeping a distance between them.

Neil gasped as he watched her snugging into his arms. He knew she wasn't in her sense. He didn't want to advantage of her being helpless and hopeless.

Neil caressed her hair and once she was fallen asleep Neil untangling himself gets up and moves to couch. He laid on couch and slept.

Next morning, Avni's eyed flicks opens. She got up sitting on bed resting her head against headboard. Her eyes widen once her gaze fell on couch where Neil was asleep in uncomfortable position.

Her eyes widen and shocked as she saw him sleeping in her room in a such uncomfortable position, some blurs vision plays front of her place but she couldn't remember properly.

She sighs and getting down the bed crouched on her knees by Neil.

She placed a hand on his shoulder and starts shaking him up.

Avni : Neil wake up! Neil wake up!

Neil flicks his eyes open and opening his eyes stares Avni dreamily, he snaps from his dream and jerkingly sat up making Avni move back.

They both looked at each other uncomfortably, Neil diverted his gaze and gets up. He didn't a say word but glancing her last time walks out of the room.

Avni confusingly also stood up and wondering what happened last night that made Neil sleep in her room moves to closet.

Picking up the attire for the day she went to washroom.

Neil ruffling his hair got dressed in his office attire recalling yesterday's incident.

Neil chucked his thought and quickly got dressed. He wore the watch, perfumed on his body and setting his hair moves out of the room once he grabs the bag on his way towards the exit.

He curtly nods the maid and filing a glass of a apple juice he drank it. He placed the glass down and looks at the maid who was waiting his instructions.

Neil : I don't have the breakfast. Avni will be coming down, serve her breakfast.

The maid nods and Neil turns to leave but stopped as he heard Avni's voice stopping him.

He glances at the stairs and looks at Avni descends down hurriedly.

Neil : carefully!

He shouted as she was about trip over the stairs. Avni looks up and muttering a sorry comes by Neil.

Avni : why aren't you having breakfast? No mater how hurry you are to leave but never miss your breakfast? Where is the person who advised? Huh?

She questioned him passing a smirk to him who couldn't believe it Avni being so brave to speak to him like that.

Neil : I don't feel hungry. You have your breakfast while I wait outside for you.

Avni : you're are not going without having breakfast. Don't be stubborn Neil!

Neil rolls his eyes and sighing to himself pulls the hair sitting down.

Avni smiles in a victory and looks at the maid who watched the drama with a smirk playing on her lips.

The maid shaking her head starts severing them. She then went back to kitchen giving them privacy.

Avni eating her food looks at Neil.

Avni : Neil. I am sorry for last night. I don't remember what exactly happened. You had to sleep in my room on couch. I am sorry troubling you.

Neil looks at her chewing his food.

Neil : you didn't trouble me Avni! I was worried about. I believe it's one of the night you don't to discuss.

Avni understood what he was trying to say. Definitely you wouldn't to discuss those days which hunts you.

Avni : right! I am still sorry. Because of me you....

Neil sighs and cuts her off.

Neil : It's okay Avni. You don't trouble. I willingly went to check on you.

Avni didn't a say word but ate her food in silence.

They both walks out of the mansion and settling the car, Neil drove to khanna industrial. Neil turns Bluetooth and called his Pa.

Neil : hello! Is meeting room ready?

Pa : yes sir! And sir my replacement will be joining today?

Neil : good! Do introduction first then I will meet to both.

Pa : okay sir!

Neil ended the call and glanced Avni who was looking outside of window adorning the view.

Neil stops the car few miles away from his office and looks at Avni who ready to get out. On high demand by Avni Neil unwillingly drops Avni few miles away from his office.

Avni doesn't to be gossiped next day in office. She knows all the gossip about Neil and the girls that spread or people keeps talking about, though she doesn't trust those rumours.

Avni : thank you Neil! I will see you in office.

Neil nodded his head and once she was out of his sight he drove to his office.

Neil holding a blazer in his one hand and other hand placed by his ear holding his phone he spoke.

Neil : yes mr khan! I am expecting meeting you tomorrow morning! I will check my schedule if I can rearrange. As businessman you should know I don't sit around wasting my times. My schedule is busy. I can see what I can do! You have to wait now. I can't cancel the meeting for tomorrow but i will definitely reschedule the next meeting.

He ended the call and gave a nod to one of his employer who walked passed him.

Arriving in his cabin, he placed his blazer around the chair and sat down. Switching his laptop and computers picks up the intercom and calls receptionist.

Neil : hello shivangi! Get the new department team in a meeting room in half an hour. I need to see them.

Shivangi : okay sir!

Neil ended the call and there a knock on the door.

Neil : come in!

Neil looks up and saw his pa.

Pa : sir the room is ready. When would you like to meet Tina?

Neil : Tina? Who is she?

Pa : new secretary of yours sir!

Neil : I will meet her after my meeting. I have called the new department for meeting. Bring her so she can shadow you there. Have you explained what is expected from her?

Pa : yes sir! I have gone through the criteria for the role and what is expected from you form her.

Neil : good! Meet me in meeting room.

His Pa nodded his head and left the cabin. Neil also gets up and moves to meeting room.
