Chapter 3

-Miranda P.O.V.-

It didn't take long before we set out, only a good night's rest. Currently, my mind was too jumbled up on what was happening.

Recently, I learned of another declension, my best friend was from said dimension, and I was alone in said dimension.

My luck sucks.

I exited my tent, thinking about how to get home. "So," I began, walking over to Alyssa, "Where is this Pepe?" I asked.

"Pepe is not easy to find, and this is mainly due to where he is located." Alyssa replied.

"Where?"

Alyssa took a deep breath, which led to a cough. I reached out to help her but she stopped me with a hand. "He is supposedly located in the heart of Dead Man's Cove. That'sin the heart of Rainbow Road."

"Rainbow Road huh?" I brought a hand to my chin and thought for a moment, "I think that back in my world, Rainbow Road doesn't exist I think." I replied.

"Then you're in for a treat." Alyssa smiled at me.

"Then what are we waiting for, let's go."

"It may be beautiful, but its crazy deadly. Ghouls are everywhere, its in the heart of their territory."

"We can fend them off, we can fight."

Alyssa's smile grew larger. "I like this, your mindset. Its rather refreshing."

I nodded, and Alyssa turned over to Mark, explaining the plan. "We need to help get them home." she explained.

Mark looked at me. "Fine," he began, "But I'm going to lead. You need rest. No excuses."

Alyssa rested a hand on his shoulder and smiled. "Fine by me, just get them there." Alyssa walked over to a cart, and she disappeared behind it.

Mark approached me. "You ready to go to Rainbow Road?" he asked me.

"The question that you should be asking is, am I ready to go home?" I replied.

"Aren't we all ready to go home?" Mark chuckled.

I followed suit, laughing a bit before catching my breath. "When do we leave?"

"Morning. We need them to have strength if we're going to head into the heart of Ghoul territory."

I nodded, and I walked away, my mind wandering in my thoughts.

What was happening back in my home, and what do I truly want to do.

These were just the questions at the front of my mind. I also thought about the group I was currently traveling with, and how they need help.

I want to help them, but I wasn't even supposed to be here.

I shook my head, and I slapped my cheeks. I looked around, realising that I had wandered to Cyrus' tent without realising it.

I took a deep breath, and I walked inside.

I needed to talk with my friend about this.
