Lucy P.O.V
I was so dazed from shock and looking at the sky, that I didn't hear the sound of the villagers shrieking with fear. I look back from the ironically beautiful view and see smoke and light coming from the village. I began to feel worried about Natsu and the twins, so I got up and speed walked towards the village. As I walked quickly, I saw the blurred faces of villagers running towards the field. "Why is this happening!" A woman shrieked.
"Is God punishing us?!" A man roared in question.
"Lord, forgive us!" A young woman begged at the sky.
Is Natsu okay, I thought in my head as I struggled through the crowd of people. The smell of smoke entered my lungs, making me cough violently. I fell the ground, not a single person thoughtful enough to help me up. The smell of burning wood filled my nose. The gruesome part was that there was a hint of burning flesh mixed in with it. I threw up to the smell, and my stomach suddenly bursted in pain. "It...hurts.."I gasped, squeazing my stomach.
"LUCY!" I heard someone roar.
I looked up to see that it was Natsu and the twins. I could see Natsu's face mixed in with relief and worry at the same time. He ran up to me and lifted me up to his arms. He hugged me tightly, and it felt like he would never want to let go. "Thank God, your safe!" Natsu sighed with relief.
I wanted to tell him that he shouldn't be worried about me, but instead I continued to cough violently. "We have to get her away from all this smoke!" Louise cried.
"Right!" Natsu agreed. Supporting my body, the four of us began to quickly evacuate Hinamizawa. "It's okay, Mama! Your going to be safe!" Elliot told me with confidence. I could feel my heart thumping with glee. It felt good to hear your own son say that he'll protect you.
It made my heart glow.
Suddnly, someone pulled my long blonde hair volently, pulling me away from Natsu's arms. "Ah!" I screamed in pain.
"Well, well, well. Looks like we finally found you, missy." A deep male voice chuckled. I looked up to see a giant man in a full set of silver and blue armor. When I saw the insignia on his right chest, that's when I knew what was happening.
The army had found me.
"Let go of her!" Natsu roared.
"This woman is an outlaw! I'll let her go when she rots in a jail cell!" The giant man roared.
I felt an aura of anger coming from Natsu, going past the boiling point. "I..Said...LET HER GO!" He screetched. He made his running start, his hands beginning to engulfed in flames. He winded up his arm, getting ready for the punch.
"Word Magic: Stop!" The soldier yelled. His arm an inch from the soldier's face, Natsu froze in mid air. The kids gasped. "What...did..you?" Natus asked, barley able to move his mouth.
"Now that's that dealt with, your coming with me." The soldier sneered.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!" I screetched. "Bubble Shot!" Powerful bubbles shot out from my hands, hitting the soldier. He was flown back at least five feet.
"Run...Lucy!" Natsu ordered.
"Go, Mama!" The twins yelled. It was painful to leave them, but I had to do it. I start my attempt to run, when a whole army surrounded me. Before I could even cast a spell, they all huddled around me, tieing my arms and legs together with a magical rope. "LET ME GO!" I shrieked.
"Nah, we're not going to do that." A soldier chuckled. One of them lifted me up, taking me further and further away from Natsu and the kids. "NATSU!" I shrieked. I cried out his name more and more, hoping he would break free of the spell, but nothing happened. "GET AWAY FROM MAMA!" Louise suddenly cried.
"Huh?" The soldier said with confusion, probably not noticing her.
"Time Magic: Accelerate!" Louise chanted. Suddenly, the ground below us began to age rapidly, turning into dust. One by one, the soldiers began to fall through the dust, disappearing. Just as I was about to fall, Elliot grabs my hand and pulls me back to the surface. We both gasp from exhaust, sweat dripping down my face. "Thanks, Elliot." I smiled.
"No promblem." He smiled. Suddenly, he began to look drowsy. Soon, he fell to the ground, unconscious, along with Louise and Natsu. "What the-?" I wondered, when a sudden shadow hovered above me. I looked behind me to see a man in a white and black cape. "Time to go to sleep, young lady."
"Huh?" I asked. He suddenly waved his hand over my face, and I suddenly felt a lot of weight on my shoulders. I slowly yawned, and soon fell asleep, not realizing what had just happened.
Natsu P.O.V
When my eyes opened, it was already night time. I sat up straight and stretched my arms, wondering why I was here. Did I go for a walk? Louise and Elliot wake up as well, having the same confused look on their fast. "Why are we here?" Elliot asked.
"I don't even remember being here." Louise said with worry.
"Maybe...we were having a picnic?" I wondered. I stared at the little twins. Something was missing.
Something important.
"Is it suppose to be just the three of us? I feel like we're missing someone?" I said, scratching my head with confusion.
"Same here. Should we just...forget about it?" Louise suggested.
"Yeah lets." I said. As I got up , I felt something on my left hand. I looked at it and noticed a golden ring around my ring finger. "What the-? Why am I wearing a wedding ring?"
That's when the memories started flashing back.
I had a wife.
A beautiful, wife who was pregnant. "....Lucy?" I said silently.
That's when I suddenly began to cry.
The army had finally gotten her. "Oh God, Lucy!"
"...Mama?" Louise suddenly said, tears falling down her face.
"I remember Louise using one of her Time Spells, and I rescued her. After that, I was knocked out." Elliot whispered, his body shaking a little.
"If they got Mama......then what's going to happen to us?" Louise asked.
I didn't even want to know what'll happen next. I just knew one thing:
I had failed her as a husband and a protector. Anger soon boiled up inside of me. My hands were soon engulfed in fire. I punched the ground, releashing all my anger. "THEY...WILL...PAY!" I roared.
"I...WANT...MAMA!" Louise screamed. I looked at her with surprise. I guess my anger was passed down to this pipsqueak, I chuckled in my head.
"Don't worry, Papa. We'll get Mama back." Elliot said with a confident smile.
I smiled back. "Yes we are." I grabbed my phone from my pocket and dialed Gray's number. After a few rings, Gray picked up. "FINALLY! I've been trying to call you all day!"
"You can punch me later! Right now, we have a problem!" I yelled. I told him everything that happened after he called me. "WHAT!? YOU LOST LUCY!"
"Sadly, yes." I sighed, hating to admit it. "But I'm returning to Fairy Tail. Tonight."
"WHy?" Gray asked.
"Because Fairy Tail is going to attack the Royal Castle." I told him.
I could hear Gray laugh with mischeif. "I like the sound of that! What time will you be here?"
"In about an hour by flying. Get everyone ready."
"Roger that." Gray hung up, and I slipped my phone in my pocket. I looked at the kids and smiled. "Are you guys ready to go."
"Go where?" Elliot and Louise asked in unison.
"To your papa's home, of course."
Anastasia P.O.V
I looked at myself in the mirror.
My once vibrant creamy skin was now looking elderly, and very bony as well. My hair now had gray strands that mixed in with the red. My green eyes looked faded.
And it was all because of her.
Suddenly, someone came bursting in my room. "DO YOU NOT KNOW HOW TO KNOCK!" I roared.
I turned around to see William gasping for air, as if he's been running for several miles. "I'm sorry, Your Highness. It's just I've got some news for you."
"What!" I yelled.
"We have found and captured Lucy Dragneel."
Suddenly, a smile swept across my face. They've finally gotten her! YES!
"Should we execute her immediatley?" He asked.
"No. I want to see her face. I want to see her tremble in fear." I chuckled.
"As you wish." He bowed.
"Now can you please leave. I've got to freshen up." He left my room, and I was now alone.
Perfect.
I closed my eyes and concentrated my energy. I released all my power and opened my eyes.
Black aura was now surrounding me, and I now had giant black wings. "Ah, I love being a Dark Angel. Well, at least, a trainee. Once I kill Lucy, the daugter of the Goddess of Life, that's when my power will truly be powerful, and my friends from Hell will finally be free!" \
Amelia P.O.V
I was only trying to close her door, because she was too weak for anyone to see her.
But when I saw her in her true state, I didn't know what to believe.
She wasn't my sister.
At least, not anymore.
That's when a sudden thought hit me.
Was it really a good idea to kill Lucy Dragneel?
