Natsu P.O.V
As I flew to Taiga's shrine, I noticed something about Lucy.
Her stomach was growing.
It was only her third day of pregnancy! Why was it growing even bigger! I flew faster as Lucy's temprature slowly began to rise. I spot Taiga's shrine, along with Elliot and Louise. I dove in and landed safley. "How did you guys get here so fast?"
"Umm...We're fast." Louise smiled. I shrugged it off and ran into the shrine. Inside were Taiga and Natsume, doing some kind of ritual. "What are you doing here?!" Taiga cried. "You're disrupting the ceremony!"
"Something is wrong with my wife! Please help her!" I cried.
The small Taiga walked over to Lucy and felt her forehead. She recoiled at the heat. "Lay her down. Quickly. Natsume, get me the herbs." Taiga ordered. Natsume nodded and ran to the back. I held Lucy's hand tightly. "Will she be okay, Taiga-Sama?" Elliot asked.
Taiga's eyes widened at the sight of the twins. "Why the hell are they here!"
"Lucy wanted to take them in." I explained.
"But they are outsiders!" Taiga hissed. I could here Louise crying softly, and Elliot trying to calm her down. "I-I know you don't like us." Louise said softly. "But please, not for our sake, but for Natsu-San's, please save Lucy-San."
Taiga's expression softened. She sighed. "Natsume! Where are those herbs!"
"Right here, Taiga-Sama!" Natsume cried, rushing back from the backroom. She carried a wooden box and gave it to Taiga. She took out a stick that was covered with bones. She sprinkled a glittery blue dust all over Lucy, and she began to glow. "Nishi, kita no seishin wa, Kankoku no seishin, Higashiajia no seishin no seishin. Anata no zen'nō no chikara de kono josei o tasukeru!"Taiga chanted. Suddenly, smoke the color of white, yellow, purple, and green arose from Lucy, and then dove back in her body. Lucy began to scream out of pain. She squeezed my hands tightly, causing me fear. "What's happening!" I yelled.
"Sh." Taiga shushed me. I was confused at first, but then Lucy's eyes opened wide open. "Lucy!" I exclaimed. But there was something wrong with Lucy. Her eyes weren't blue.
They were gold.
"What's wrong with Lucy?" I asked.
"Is she...dying?" Elliot asked.
"No, she's not. She's going to sing." Taiga said.
"Sing?" I asked.
"Yes, sing. She will sing to us what's happening to her." Taiga said.
Lucy took a deep breathe and began to sing in a soft and gentle voice.
"Nothing is normal,
Yet nothing is not strange.
The Angels have come,
both filled with dark and light.
Please save the young.
For the young have no original sin."
Her eyes returned to a normal blue, and she shut them completley. I was speechless with her lyrics. "What the hell was that?"
"A prophecy. A prophecy that will be fulfilled." Taiga explained.
"But what does it mean?" I asked.
"I do not know." Taiga said silently.
"War is coming." Elliot suddenly said.
I gave him a strange look. "We are in war."
"A war between not human and human, but Life and Death." Louise said silently. She crawled by Lucy's head and began to stroke her hair. "Secrets are hidden, but will resurface."
I gave them a strange look, but I was speechless. A second war was coming.
And of course, we were going to fight.
Lucy P.O.V
I woke up in a place filled with white. I wasn't at my father's house, nor was I even in Hinamizawa.
"Where am I?" I said to myself.
"You are here, my daughter." Two familiar women said in unison. I turned to see both of my mothers, Layla and Yuki, standing side my side. Tears filled my eyes. "Mama! Okaa-San!" I began to run into there arms. Their warmth felt so good. It's been so long since I've had this motherly hug. "Hello, Atsuko." Yuki said.
"Hello, Lucy." Layla smiled.
"W-Where am I?" I asked, getting off task.
"This," Layla said, "is the land of Angels."
I looked around and gasped. Everywhere, there were winged people, flying about. Their wings were different from Dragon Wings. Instead of having scales, they had white, fluffy looking feathers, like what you would see in picture books. "Wow." I gasped. "But why am I here?"
"Because something terrible is going to happen." Layla said, her golden hair flowing in the wind.
"Something terrible. And it involves Princess Anastasia." Yuki said.
I gasped. "The princess who's trying to kill me?!"
"And your twins." Yuki nodded.
"Princess Anastasia is hiding a deep secret, from her family and the whole kingdom."
"What's the secret?" I asked.
"You will figure it out soon." Layla smiled. "Now it's time to return to your husband."
I nodded, and gave my mothers a final hug. "Will I see you again?"
"Yes, you will." Yuki said.
"When the Angels fight the evil." Layla said. They waved goodbye as my vision began to blur.
And soon, everything went black.
When I woke up, the first thing I saw was Natsu and Taiga-Sama hovering over me. "Lucy!" Natsu gasped.
"I told you she would wake up eventually." Taiga spatted.
"Lucy-San!" Elliot and Louise said in unison.
"How long was I unconscious?" I asked.
"Five hours." Natsu said silently. He held my hand gently, giving me comfort. I looked at my stomach and gasped. "Are the babies alright?!"
"Yes, they're fine Lucy." Louise smiled.
I smiled back and gently touched my stomach. "Thank God."
"I want her to stay the night here, just in case. So make yourselves comfortable." Taiga-Sama said. She got up and disappeared in the next room. Natsume followed her, but stopped for a brief moment. "I'm glad your okay."
"Thanks." I smiled. And with that, she disappeared with Taiga. I could hear Louise yawn. "Time to go to bed, you two." Natsu said.
"BUt..I want...to...awake." Louise stutterded, but soon fell asleep on Elliot's lap. Elliot groaned. "you have to stop doing that."
I giggled. These two truly loved eachother, took care of eachother for years. Now it was time for us to be parents. Natsu blew the candle off, and darkness filled the room. Before I was about to drift to sleep, I felt Natsu's arms embrace my waist. "I thought I lost you."
"You know i'm hard to get rid of." I laughed.
"Not funny, Lucy." Natsu said. "I was truly scared."
I sighed and pressed my face against Natsu's bare chest. "I know you were." We layed there in silence, I wasn't sure if he was sleeping or not. "I learned something. About the Princess."
Natsu sat up straight. "What about her?"
"Something is going to happen. I don't know what, but it wont be pretty." I said, my voice shaking. I could feel Natsu's arms squeezing me even tighter. "Nothing will happen to neither of us. The six of us."
I looked at him. "Six?" Then I understood who he was talking about.
Elliot and Louise.
"So you've finally accepted them." I smirked.
"THey aren't that bad." He winked. I laughed, as did Natsu. "Let's get some sleep." I suggested.
"Good idea." Natsu laughed.
And with that, we both drifted to sleep, so sure that we were safe.
Shadow P.O.V
I run through the forest.
I have become part of the wind.
I try to find the scent of the Dragneel girl the Princess was talking about. It's been hours and still nothing.
It was getting on my nerves.
Suddenly, somthing tickled my nose. I ceased my running and continued to sniff it out.
The smell of the ocean.
"Gotcha." I smiled.
And I continued to follow the scent through the forest, hunting down my prey.
Louise P.O.V
I pretended to fall asleep.
As did Elliot.
While Lucy-San and Natsu-San were sleeping soundly, we snuck outside. So much emotion were filling inside of me, I didn't know what to do. "What do you want?" Elliot asked.
"I want to tell them." I said to him. "Everything."
His eyes widened. "Why the hell would we do that!"
"Because I don't like keeping secrets from them! They trust us, and we're just lying to them!" I cried softly.
"But if we tell them now, do you have any idea how hurt they'd be!" Elliot snapped.
"They are going to find out everything, Elliot-Niisan! If we tell them later, it might be to late!"
"And if we tell them now, everything will be ruined! They won't do what fate wanted them to do!" Elliot yelled softly. Tears fell down my face.
I hated this.
I hated this so much.
Elliot embraced me by hugging me getnly. "We have to keep pretending like the way we are. It's the only way."
"But it can't be!" I cried.
"I'm sorry, Louise." He whispered. "It has to be that way."
