Navya: Even if I say your buddy is dying bhai?

As soon as the words left from Navya's mouth, Abhi stilled on his place. His eyes widened in shock and Nandini was no better. Abhi's buddy means her bhai, her mentor and her partner in crime. Tears brimmed in her eyes but she didn't let them fall as she had stopped crying a long back. She do fall weak at times but that doesn't means she cries.

Abhi's condition was no less. He rushed to Navya and held her shoulders shaking her slightly.

Abhi: What happened to buddy? Are you mad, Navya!? Is it another trick of yours to get me back home? Tell me!

Navya's eyes filled with tears, first her brother thought she would lie about something so serious and second, on her bestfriend's condition who was lying in the hospital battling for his life.

Navya: It is not a trick bhai.

Abhi: t-then?

Navya: Accident! His car's breaks failed and there was a truck coming from the other side. He couldn't control and it crashed.

At the end her voice choked while Abhi gulped the lump formed in his throat. His buddy needed him but he wasn't there? What type of friend he is?

Abhi: When?

Navya: Last night. He was coming from office and this happened. Doctor said his condition is critical.

Fab5 were silently seeing all this. Except Aliya they all were confused as Aliya knew about whom they were talking but they didn't know.

Abhi: Navya take me to him, Please.

He spoke hurriedly as Navya nodded and started walking towards the exit. Abhi followed her. Nandini was also coming when Navya saw her and her anger rised up.

Navya: You are not coming with us!

Abhi: Navya, please what are you saying? Please don't waste time! Let's go.

Navya looked at him while he just blinked his eyes looking at her. And Nandini, she just stood there lost. She did acknowledge the fact Abhi stopped Navya so she could come but she wasn't in a right state of mind to do anything about it. Her mind was on her bhai, who was in a hospital, maybe counting his last breathes.

Abhi and Navya walked towards the exit and Nandini too came out of her thoughts. She looked at Abhi who turned around and with his eyes asked her to come along them. Not caring about their equation at that moment, Nandini hurriedly called her private jet and left from there.

Fab5 were standing there only looking at each other when Aliya broke the silence.

Aliya: Guys! We have to go, fast!

Cabir: but where?

Aliya: Harshad bhai. We have to tell him about this. And we will go with them. We need to go to solve all this.

They all nodded and left from there. Somewhere, Manik felt like they were interfering someone's life without their permission but then his heart was all ready to do it.

After reaching Harshad's office. They saw Navya and Abhi there. They were talking and next second the three left from there while going Harshad saw Aliya and rushed towards her.

Harshad: Aliya! What are you doing here?

Aliya: Bhai, We are here to inform you. Voh did you hear-

Harshad: I know Aliya. Navya told me. I have to go

Aliya: We will also come, bhai.

Harshad was also not in a good condition. He was too numb and shocked to acknowledge her words. So he just gave her a nod before walking away.

Reaching there, they just drove to the hospital as fast as possible.

Apolo Hospital

While walking Harshad and Abhi were silently crying remembering the time they all had spent. The time, they drifted apart. The time their bestfriend broke apart. Tears made their eyes out of their eyes and each step they took felt heavy. They just wanted to run back into their past where everything was so beautiful.

As Navya knew the room number they didn't ask the receptionist. Navya was walking in front and behind her were Harshad and Abhi. A step behind them Fab5 were coming silently.

They reached OT only to see two new faces. One boy was standing near the door of the OT while one was sitting on the bench.

The boy who was sitting suddenly saw Navya and came towards her.

Boy: Navya, where were you? You should have atleast informed us before going anywhere. We were so worried for you.

Hearing his voice the boy who was standing looked in their direction and saw Harshad and Abhi first as they were standing a little behind Navya.

He rushed towards them and engulfed them in a hug which grabbed the other one's attention and he was shocked seing them.

Breaking the hug, the other also hugged Harshad and Abhi. After few seconds they broke the hug and looked at each other with tears in their eyes.

Boy1: Harshad, Abhi! you both here.

Abhi: Navya came there and told about buddy's accident and we could not control.

Boy2: Y-You both came alone?

Abhi looked at him and was about to reply when they all heard footsteps. They all turned their head to see Nandini coming towards them with an expressionless face but she carried her NM aura. She had Don't-mess-with-me look but still some people could see the vulnerability on her face.

Both the boys stood rooted on their places after seeing her while Navya's face was red with anger. She marched towards her and held her shoulders in her tight grip, earning a hiss from her and a glare from others.

Navya: Nandini, I told you not to come, Right? Why the hell are you here!

Nandini's eyes soften seeing her condition and coming out of her grip she spoke calmly.

Nandini: Look, I just came to-

Navya: Just came to what!? Oh so you came to see if he is still alive or dead? I am really sorry to say NM he is still alive so just leave from here!

Abhi: Navya stop it! What the hell are you even speaking!?

Boy1: She said nothing wrong, Abhi! She is right!

Nandini wasn't shocked hearing him. She had expected worse. She just looked down for a second before composing herself.

Abhi: Maddy, are you mad!? God! Guys hear yourself first! You are making no sense. Why would she wish him to be dead!

Boy2: We are not mad, Abhi! You are mad that even after so much you are supporting her!

Navya: Guys, Please.

Aryaman and Maddy nodded giving a disguisting look to Nandini who was not at all effected now or she pretended not to be.

In all this Harshad didn't say a word and Fab5 were also standing and seeing the drama. All they could do was look at each other.

They didn't knew what to say. The people there were accusing Nandini and she stood silent. Neither did she accept their accusations nor she denied.

Soon the doctor came out of the operation theatre and all rushed towards him except Nandini and Fab5.

Doctor: I am sorry but his condition is really very critical. The next Twelve hours are very difficult. Pray for him.

Hearing this Navya, Abhi, Maddy Aryaman, Harshad broke into tears while Nandini's face was again expressionless. If an unknown person would see them right now, he will surely term her as a heartless person but Abhi, he could see her condition while others simply ignored.

He silently walked to her and stood beside her, conveying that he was with her. Nandini though didn't say but Abhi knew she was overwhelmed.

Aliya herself was in tears. It was true her relations with them were not good but then also she knew them from childhood. She had grown up seeing their friendship. She had seen them fighting for each other but never did she see them fighting with each other, even for once. It was the first time she was seeing them being so bitter with each other, or to Nandini.

The next Twelve hours were very difficult for them. They were standing near the operation theatre, waiting for the doctor to come out and give them the good news.

As the time passed the doctor checked him and told that he is okay now and will wake up in some hours.

After sometime the guy was up and all of them except Nandini went inside to see him.

He was lying on the bed with his eyes closed. Hearing the knob sound he looked up to see Navya, Maddy and Aryaman standing together like hiding something behind them.

He smiled seeing them but it didn't last long as they left each other's hand and stepped aside bringing Harshad and Abhi in his view.

As they had expected, tears brimmed in his eyes as he tried to sit on the bed. Navya rushed to help him immediately. He opened his arms and both Harshad and Abhi rushed towards him and cried their heart out. Soon Navya, Maddy and Arya too joined the hug and it became a group hug. Breaking the hug. He looked around like he was looking for someone.

Abhi: She also came but didn't come inside buddy.

Navya muttered something under her breathe and Abhi gave her a hard look. She looked at the guy and came forward.

Navya: How are you Sid?

Sid: I am fine and Abhi, I wasn't looking for-

He stopped in middle, looking at the door. His eyes widening and everyone followed his line of vision only to see Nandini standing at the door clutching the knob.

The moisture in her eyes was seen by everyone and they thought, she would cover it again but to their surprise, the tears fell down her eyes as she looked down, wiping them slowly.

She slowly walked in and stood in front of Sid. She was going to hug him, forgetting all their differences for a moment when Sid showed his hand stopping her. Though it broke her heart into million pieces, she composed herself and looked at the other side controlling herself from crashing in his arms.

Sid: Why are you here?

Nandini: I-I came to-

She stammered and it again came as a shock to Fab5 for they never thought there was someone who could make the NM shutter but they didn't know what Sid meant for her.

He was the only guy, she was scared of. The only person who could make her do anything he wanted. Though she loved Abhi a bit more than all of them, he was soft with her, while Sid was a complete father figure for her.

And all this years, she had missed him, his scoldings, his love and everything about him.
