Ash

Ever since I arrived back in Pallet Town, I often wonder of how Serena is doing. Since I knew Hoenn as I remember, I knew that there is one thing I can do.

I grabbed one of the presents that I've gotten from my mother after I've got back from the Kalos Region.

It was a Pokegear, and it has a chat box to anyone.

So I got Serena as my contacts and begin to chat with her.

Ash:  Hi, Serena!"

Serena: "Who is this?"

Ash: "Forgot me already? It's the boy you kissed before you arrived in Hoenn." :)

Serena: Ash!?! How did you get a Pokegear?

Ash: "Easy.  It was a gift from my mother after I arrived back home here in Pallet Town. So, how are things in Hoenn?"

Serena:  "I just arrived here in Hoenn. It's so beautiful here! I can't believe that there is so many new Pokémon I never seen before!"

Ash:  "Well, I know you will do great in the Pokémon Contests, Ser. You'll be great."

Serena: "You really believe so, Ash? I never been in a Contest before."

Ash: (Feeling embarrassed) I haven't told you the truth. I actually travelled in Hoenn."

Serena: (shocked) "Wait, you travelled here?  So, you must known the Region better than I do."

Ash: "As I said, you'll be fine. I'll be cheering for you, Ser."

Serena: "Thanks, Ash. It means a lot."

I ended the chat and sigh. Even though we went our separate ways, I miss her.

Suddenly  a voice asks, "Something wrong with Ashy-Boy?"

I groaned in anger, knowing the voice too well.

"Gary! What is with you sneaking up on me like that?" I demanded as the Researcher chuckles at his little sneak attack.

"Hey, what can I say? I had to." He replies as he notices the chat box on my Pokegear.

"Who is Serena?" He asks me, totally confused of who Serena might be.

I smiled, "She's the young girl I've met back when we were in Professor Oak's Summer Camp, remember?"

Gary's eyes widen with total amazement as he remembers her now.

"No way! The same honey-combed hair girl with the Straw Hat you were with when you were looking for that Poilywag?"

I nodded, "The same one. We reunited back in Kalos and went on a Journey together. She was almost Kalos Queen in the Pokémon Showcase."

"Amazing! Where is Serena now?" Gary asks.

"She just arrived in the Hoenn Region." I answered his question.

"Why she in Hoenn? Is she going to continue her Journey as a Performer?"

"She decided to become a Coordinator. I knew one thing about Serena since I met her."

"And what could that be?"

"That Serena is strong. She can handle anything that stands in her way." I replied.

Pikachu said, agreeing with my words. "Pika."

"How about we go to see where the Contest is held and surprise her?" Gary said, "I can be able to do more Pokémon Research in Hoenn."

I turned to my old buddy, "What you think, Pikachu?"

Pikachu lifts his fist in the air for determination. "Pikachuuu!" He accidently unleashes his Thunderbolt and paralyzes Gary and me.

Pikachu felt embarrassed of what happened and Gary said, "Pikachu doesn't change one bit, Ash."

May

As I was in another Contest, I felt the Contests are getter harder than ever.

"Glaceon, use Ice Fang!" I commanded as I was competing against another Coordinator.

"Beautifly, use Whirlwind!" The Coordinator demanded his Pokémon.

Both Pokémon uses their attacks head on, as Glaceon was able to stand as the Beautifly was unable to battle.

"And there you go, folks! The Princess of Hoenn strikes again!" The Announcer of the Pokémon Contest announcer to the entertainment crowd, watching our battle unfold in the center stage.

I knelt down to my Ice Type Pokémon and pet its head.

"Glaceon, you were just great." I told the Pokémon. Glaceon nod its head as we faced our opponent who was consulting his Pokémon.

"You'll get your chance another time, Beautifly." Then he notices me and Glaceon walking towards him.

"I got to say, Princess of Hoenn, you're strong." He said, giving me a hand for a friendly handshake.

I wished that they would not treat me as a celebrity. Every time I want to enjoy of not being in a Contest, fans were everywhere and I couldn't get any personal space.

"It was a good battle. I'm sure you'll do great in your next Contest." I replied, returning the handshake as the crowd cheers with excitement.

I change into my normal clothes and wear sunglasses so no one would recognized me as the Princess of Hoenn.

As I walked to the Petalburg Gym, I noticed a girl and her Pokémon. I never seen them before as they looked like they were lost.

"Hi. Are you lost?" I asked the girl. She had short Honey-combed hair and her outfit had different attire than mine.

She nodded with embarrassment in her face.

"Was it too obvious? It's my first time being in the Hoenn Region." She explains.

I gasp, "Really? Wait, where you from?"

"Oh, how rude of me for not introducing myself. I'm Serena Yvonne. I'm from Vaniville Town in the Kalos Region."

"Kalos Region? I never heard of it before." I said, then looked at her Pokémon.

"So, these are your Pokémon from Kalos as well?"

"Yes, Meet Pancham, Sylveon, and Braxien." Serena said.

"Wow, so, you had an Eevee too, and it evolved into Sylveon?" I asked in amazement.

"Yeah. When it was an Eevee, it lived in the forest of flowers alone and was shy around other humans except she saw us doing Pokémon Showcase, she loved it and not scared anymore." Serena explains, then her stomach growls, reminding me of Ash.

"You must be hungry from traveling here." I said.

She said, "Yeah, you're right."

I knew that she and her Pokémon need a place to sleep, why not in my Gym?

"You and your Pokémon can crash in my place tonight."

She said, "I don't want to be rude of entering your home with such of a short notice."

"It'll be fine." I reassured her as I pulled off my sunglasses and yelled, "Mom, Dad, Max, I'm home!"

Serena

As we enter, the girl yells, "Mom, Dad, Max, I'm home!"

The family came in and the boy, Max, said, "Wow, May, you're back from your Contest! We watched it on TV and you and Glaceon were amazing as usual!"

Wow, she's a Coordinator, like me! What are the chances of that?

May sees my shock expression, "Yeah, I forgotten to mention, I'm a Coordinator."

"Wow, I'm a new Coordinator. I um, don't know anything about being one."

May said, "Well, first thing you should know that Pokémon Coordinators have to show the beauty of your Pokémon and their abilities in Contests.

We also get five ribbons to enter the Grand Festival."

"Wow, amazing! You sure know a lot about Contests, don't you, May?" I asked her.

May said, "When you put it that way, yeah I do. Oh, I would like you to meet my family, Serena."

"Nice to meet you, Serena. I'm Norman, the Gym Leader of Petalburg Gym." Norman introduces himself.

"So... is that mean that you're from Petalburg Gym, May?" I asked.

She grew embarrassed as she rubs her head, "Uh, that's right!"

"I'm Max, May's little brother. I'm going to start my Journey tomorrow."

"Awesome, Max! Say, how about we travel together? I really need an expert in Hoenn."

"I would love that! May, want to come?" Her brother asks.

"Ok, but on one condition, you have to patient with me." May said.  

"I'm Carline. My dear, how about you, May and Max go tomorrow? Serena, we were just about to have dinner, care to join us?"

I nodded, "Thanks, but let me cook for you, since you're all so kind to me."

I cooked the food and Pokepuffs for the Pokémon.

"What are those, Serena?" Max asks, being curious.

"It's Pokepuffs. I made them for my Pokémon. Here you go, Glaceon."

Glaceon eats the dessert and was happy.

"Wow, I got to learn how you made them for my own Pokémon." May chuckles.

As I enjoyed being with new friends I have made in Hoenn, I wonder what happened since I parted ways with Clement, Ash and Bonnie.
