Max

I was resting in the Pokémon Center bed , wondering how can I get Ralts back. Suddenly, the door flew opened as Alain, Ash, Serena, and the others came barging in with worry.

May ask, "Max! Are you ok? Alain told us that your Ralts was taken away!" 

I nod as I see Ash was flexing his wrists in pure anger that someone took my partner away from me. 

"I will avenge you, Max! You have to tell me, who stole your Ralts away from you?" He asks me with anger in his eyes, which something that I don't see since we traveled together in Hoenn.

Serena said, "Ash, take it easy. Max is injured and probably he needs the rest." 

I said in a sad tone, "It was Team Rocket who stole Ralts." 

That took everyone by total surprise that Team Rocket is still around. 

Brock sighs, "You got to be kidding me, Team Rocket is still out there stealing Pokémon again? Will these guys ever learn?"

Tireno said, "Well, at least we know who is the person behind all of this then. I say that we find Team Rocket and get Max's partner back." 

As he was about to leave, I said, "It's not going to be that easy, Tireno. Team Rocket can Mega-Evolve their Pokémon. 

Their Pokémon was so powerful that beat me within seconds." 

That was when Bonnie ran out of the room, as if she has an idea. "Bonnie!" Ash exclaimed with a concerned expression as he and Pikachu went after her.

I know what it needs to be done. We need Ash-Greninja to help us, but I don't know if Greninja is done with cutting all the red vines back home in Kalos Region. 

Squishy ask, "Bonnie, are you sure you want to contact Greninja within this distance? It's a long travel for a water Pokémon, you know?"

I turned to the Legendary Pokémon, "Squishy, we have to do this. You know that better than I do. 

Imagine what Team Rocket could've done in Hoenn with Mega Evolution with all those powerful Pokémon on their side. It could be the end for Pokémon world, and I want Serena and May to continue their journeys as Pokémon Coordinators."

The Pokémon sighs, as I closed my eyes, focusing on Greninja's voice, it's one of the powers that Squishy possesses . 

"Greninja, can you hear me? It's Bonnie. Have you manage to cut all the red Vines from the Crisis of Team Flare has done?"

"Yeah, Z2 helped out a lot. You wouldn't believe how much the Red Vines were in Kalos Forest. It really tired me out." 

"Well, how about a challenge to meet me in Hoenn Region? Braxien would be there . " 

"She's in Hoenn Region?!? I'll be right there!" 

May spots me, "Bonnie there you are!" 

Ash said, "Why you ran off like that?" Suddenly, he felt Greninja's appearance.

Pikachu asks, "Pika Pi?" 

Brock asks, "Ash, is something wrong?"

As would expected, Greninja pounces on Ash like an old friend reunion.

"What is that Pokémon?" May asks, as she gets out her Poke gear, wanting to know the Pokémon that arrived in Hoenn.

Tireno said, "Well, be. It's Ash's Greninja! I never thought seeing it here in Hoenn." 

"No data." May's Poke gear said. 

I chuckled, "Allow me." 

I showed them a pic of the water Pokémon, as May and Brock look at the data that I've gotten with my Poke gear.

"Greninja: The Water Pokémon. The Final evolution form of Frokie. It is also known as the Ninja Pokémon. It appears and vanishes with a ninja's grace. 

It toys with its enemies using swift movements, while slicing them with throwing stars of water." 

I put the Poke gear away as May whistles, "Wow, so this is an Greninja. I've never seen it up close before in person." 

Serena said, "Greninja is one of the starter Pokémon in the Kalos Region. This Greninja is a special one to Ash to say the least." 

May ask, "What you mean by that?" 

Suddenly out of nowhere, a group of Team Rocket's members surrounds us. 

"Awe, just perfect." Ash mumbles as Brock said, "These guys are really getting on my nerves, Zubat, I choose-" 

"Wait a second, Brock. Let me and Greninja take care of this. Water Shrunken !" 

The Pokémon obeys his commands as he uses the stars to attack. 

"Quick, Golbat use Wing Attack!" One of the grunts command his partner as Ash yells, "Dodge it! Now use Aerial Ace!" 

Greninja dodges the attack as Brock exclaims, "It is like Greninja knows Ash better than any Pokémon he ever has!" 

I chuckled, "Please, you guys haven't seen anything yet. Just look at Ash's eyes. " 

Brock and May look at Ash as Greninja looks at him with a nod. 

"Ok, let's do this, Greninja, together!"

Serena smiles as Brock and May exclaimed with pure shock, watching Ash became Ash-Greninja in front of their eyes.

Tireno said, "Yeah! Go for it, Ash-Greninja!" 

May points out, "How could this even be possible?!? It's like Greninja has somehow became Ash! How come I didn't know about this special ability?"

Brock was completely speechless at seeing one of his best friends having this much power. 

Ash-Greninja was so in sync, as if leaving each other's side became more stronger.

Squishy pokes his head, "Greninja has new moves too. When he was helping getting all the red vines that Team Flare left behind, he has done some special training on his own."

"Oh, did he now? Why does that sound a lot like Ash?" I joked, as I saw that the Legendary Pokémon wasn't kidding around.

"Quick, use Aerial Ace, again, Greninja!" Ash said, but instead of the same attack move, the Aerial Ace was a blade with a dark aura.

"Whoa, is that a Night Slash attack?" I ask, as Serena ask, "Night Slash? Is that one of Greninja's moves?"

"Yeah. It has said that Night Slash can be used when the user slashes the target the instant when an opportunity rises.

I never thought seeing Greninja doing that move! Wait until Clement hears about this discovery! He's going to be so jealous!"  

Ash-Greninja finishes the battle as Ash deforms in a sigh of relief. "Woah, Greninja. It felt good of seeing you again, but aren't you suppose to be in Kalos fighting against the Red Vines that Team Flare behind during the Chaos of Kalos?"

"I brought Greninja out. Come on, having Ash-Greninja is what we needed right now." I said, as Ash beamed, "Thanks, Bonnie. I kind of owe you one."

Brock couldn't handle his emotions any longer as he yells, "Can someone please explain to us what exactly happened a few seconds ago?"

Ash, Tireno, and I exchanged looks as Alain and Charizard came rushing in, "Sorry we're late, wait, did I miss something?"

I can't believe that Greninja actually travelled all the way from Kalos , just to help us . Brock, May , Alain, Serena and Bonnie stayed in the Pokémon Center with me.

Max, miraculously recovered, as Bonnie introduces him to my old friend, Greninja.

"Whoa, so this was your Greninja, Ash? It seems incredible, yet I'm stunned that you had a water Pokémon."

I blushed, "Well, it is has been a while since I last saw him. Since the Crisis of Team Flare, I knew that it would be great to visit Kalos again."

" 'Crisis of Team Flare?'" May repeated as Serena said, "Team Flare was an evil organization, much worse than Ash ever battled against."

"Ash saves the world. Of course. " Brock sighs, as he slouches back.

"Brock, it wasn't all that easy for any of us to get out of the situation, believe me." Bonnie said, remembering the events, "That was when we discovered that Squishy was Zygarde, a Legendary Pokémon. You had seen me battle with him."

May nods with that statement, "Yeah, I guess. But this still doesn't add up with that battle we just escape from."

  "What you guys saw, was the Bond Phenomenon, it is the power of Ash can do when he synch with Greninja . 

It's like he can use his Aura but more powerful than any Pokémon or trainer can possess." Serena explains , "Which is what Team Flare's Leader, Lysandre wanted most." 

Max ask, "What ever happened to Lysandre now?" 

"Squishy took care of him, along with the help of the Kalos Gym Leader, my dad, Blaziken Mask, Alain, and Ash here." Bonnie exclaimed, with fists in the air, determined.

I said, "Well... it did happen on the day of the Kalos Finals, remember? Alain, you were pretty tough with your Charizard, along with Mega Evolution." 

"True, but you and Greninja made the impossible. I'm just glad that you helped me changed my ways for the better. " Alain said, "But we managed to defeat Lysandre together on top of Prism Tower." 

Serena said, standing up, "I think we had enough excitement for one day. I want to get ready for my next contest and hopefully get my first ribbon here in Hoenn."

I smirk, "You will get that ribbon no doubt about it, Ser."

She smiles a bit as Max slides over to me, "So, what is going on with you two? Are you guys a couple or something?"

 "W-Wait, why would you say that?" I stammered nervously.

Bonnie giggles as May pulls her brother, "Max, don't embarrass Ash! He'll tell us when he is ready to tell!"

The more I decline, the more I realize how desperately I wanted Serena to be more than a friend, maybe as a girlfriend. 

But how can I do that?
