Chapter 10:

Neil breaks the hug and cups her face.

Neil: nothing will happen to you we will concern the best doctor you will be fine soon.

She smiles.

Avni: then why are you crying.

She wipes his tears.

Avni: still are you angry with me?

Neil: yes I am.

Avni holds her tears.

Avni: I am sorry.

Neil: it's ok but don't do this next time.

Avni: I promise but Neil why I repeat it next time.

Neil: what do you mean?

Avni: I mean next time I will do something else to annoy you.

Neil angrily looks at him she laughs then Neil also laughs.

Avni: Ok now come mamma is waiting for us.

Neil: yaa.

Both went to the dinning area.

Nm: oh you both came I am coming to call you I send her to call you but she also disappear.

Avni: mamma scold him not me because of him we came late.

Neil: what? What I did.

Avni: you are.

Neela maa interrupts.

Nm: Ok now stop and come have the dinner.

Avneil look at eachother and give tashan and sits neela maa smiles and shook her head all had the dinner then after some time Neil is laying on his bed he close his eyes to sleep then turn his side Neil turns his side for several times then he sits on the bed.

Neil: I am not sleepy or I say I don't want to sleep i want to spend time with avni like we did in my home we used to chit chat at late night and enjoy the coffee shall I go to her room.

Neil looks at the clock.

Neil: it's 11: 15 pm it's not the right time and more than that what should I say to her why I came in her room Neil why are you thinking so much it's 11:15 only and you are not going to her room first time and about what will you say to her so say that you are not sleepy that's it yes I can say this.

Neil get up and went to her room but he was shocked to see her condition she was breathing heavily and Neela maa was searching the medicine he stops at the door and went numb he is just looking at her then he hears the sound of falling something he came into reality.

Neil whispers: avni.

He quickly went to her and sits with her

Neil: avni avni what happened.

a tear falls from Neil's eyes on avni's hand Neil hugs her to calm her and rubs her back Neil cries then neela maa comes with the medicine.

Nm: Neil let me give her medicine.

Neil: yaa.

He breaks the hug neela maa gives her medicine Neil lays her on the bed and after some time her breathe got normal Neil and neela maa takes a deep breathe and wipes their tears avni was sleeping.

Neil: what was that aunty what happened to her.

Neela maa looks at him.

Neil: I know about her disease but I didn't saw her in this condition before.

Nm: Neil she had the attack.

Neil shocked.

Neil: attack.

Nm: yes as you know she is a heart patient so sometimes suddenly her heart beat increases and It's very difficult to handle her.

Neil: but she lived with us and she didn't had any attack.

Nm: it's your thinking.

Neil shocked.

Neil: what do you mean?

Nm: when she was there she had 3 attacks.

Neil shocked.

Nm: she didn't told me about that but when she came back and I asked her and she can't lie to me so she told me about the attacks.

Neil looks at avni.

Nm: Neil you go and sleep avni is sleeping now she is fine.

Neil nodes yes and gets up then he is going but he stops at the door and turn to see her he stand there for sometime then went from there he came to his room the flashes of recent incident came in front of his eyes he sits on the bed and Neela maa's words are echoing in his ears that avni had 3 attacks at his home.

Neil: avni had 3 attacks there and I was unaware of it she is so much expert in hiding things she is ill and she did let us know about it she behaved so normal every time like she is absolutely fine why avni why If something had happen to you then no no Neil what are you saying she is fine nothing had happen to her and nothing will happen to her.

Neil sits there for sometime next morning avni wake up and smiles.

Avni: good morning avni so you are seeing another morning not bad.

Then she remember about last night flashes she saw neela maa was searching the medicine and throwing the things in anger because she didn't get the medicine then Neil comes.

Avni pov:

Avni: last night Me mamma and Neil had the dinner then chitchat and I felt my heart beat is increasing so I made an excuse that I am tired so I am going to sleep i said good night to them and came to my room and as soon as I close the door my heart beat increases and I start breathing heavily I went to the cupboard and start searching the medicine then I falls on the floor at the same time mamma came she was shocked to see me actually she came to check on me like she did every night before sleeping she came to me and made me sit on the bed and she was scolding me for being careless while searching the medicine I knew she was crying but I had no energy to talk and went to her then I saw Neil is standing at the door and was looking at me he was shocked because he saw me first time in this condition then he came to me and asked me what happened to me his tear fall on my hand and i look at him he was crying he hugged me and tried to calm me by rubbing my back but It was of no use then maa give me medicine and after sometime I got relief and I sleeps.

Avni: I hope mamma didn't tell him about my attacks otherwise he will be more angry on me.
