Lindsay's POV

It's been a week since Vartox was defeated. Kara and I are now dodging missiles. I've already proven I can break the sound barrier. Kara had broken the sound barrier too.  When we finished training we landed.

" You two still need work," Director Henshaw said.

" You know you can call us Supergirl and Vol," Kara said.

Director Henshaw glared at her.

" Or not," Kara said.

" You aren't ready," Director Henshaw said.

" But we defeated Vartox a week ago," Kara said.

" That one was all you Kara," I said.

" You're still not ready," Director Henshaw said before walking away.

Alex looked at us.

" It's alright.  It took me 6 months of training before he let me out on the field," Alex said.

Alex and Kara were talking when Winn contacted us about a fire.

" Well, duty calls," Kara said.

" Don't overwork yourself," Alex said.

"I won't," Kara said.

Then she took off. Alex looked at me.

" Yeah. Yeah," I said.

Then I took off after Kara. When I arrived Kara was moving an oil rig so I went to put out the fire. Once finish people applauded us until Kara accidentally broke the boat to create an oil spill. She looked at it then flew off. I rolled my eyes at what she did. I flew to the whole and analyzed it.

I realized if I was careful I could seal it by using my strength. So using my super strength I carefully and securely fixed it. Then I took off and went to work. Once there I noticed that the news was on. Maxwell Lord was complaining about Supergirl and Vol.

" They at least try. Vol stopped more oil from spilling," One of my coworkers said.

I smiled because that coworker knew that some superheroes make mistakes. I was working when I got a text telling me to be at a location. I signed out at the desk then went to an empty alleyway.  I changed into Vol and took off. When I arrived at the scene there was a lot of Agents there. Henshaw was not happy.

The things taken could make a bomb. At  DEO Headquarters  Kara remembered something.

" You're looking for a Hellgrammite. That stinger you pulled out, I've seen it before on Krypton. My mother sent one of their kind to Fort Rozz," Kara said.

" There was one Hellgrammite in Fort Rozz," Agent Vasquez said.

We talked about the Hellgrammite. Then Alex led Kara and I to a room. The lights were green and Kara was like a human. Alex and Kara were fighting and I sat back and watched. Kara was getting her butt kicked. I just hoped that I wouldn't be next.

Luckily I wasn't next. Kara was pissed. I got changed after that. I had the rest of the day off so I walked around. Then I got a text from Kara telling me to suit up and fly to an alley to meet her, Winn, and someone else. I figured she knows.

I went into an alley and changed. I fly to where I'm supposed to meet them.

" Wait he knows," I hear James and Winn ask.

" Winn's my friend," I hear Kara say.

" And Winn James already knew," I said as I landed.

" Nice timing," Kara said.

" Thank you," I said.

" Ok. The reason I asked you all to come is because I need to start small," Kara said.

I smiled at  this because I knew Kara was learning. We all went to mine and Kara's loft. Kara was out in the field. James, Winn, and I found small superhero things for her to do. We get to the classic cat stuck in a tree and I go to see this one.

Kara flew into the tree and came back onto the ground with a snake.

" Fluffy," the little girl who owned the snake said happily.

" I thought you said it was a cat," Kara said.

" Who names their pet snake fluffy," I hear Winn ask through the com.

Kara and I then took off.

" Winn we're turning our comes off for a bit," Kara said.

Kara and I turned our com's off.

" What's up," I asked.

" Would you, as Vol, be willing to give Ms. Grant an interview," Kara asked.

" Why," I asked.

" James lose his job," Kara said.

My guess was that Ms. Grant asked or more of ordered James to talk to Superman so she could interview us. This could get us in trouble but I knew it felt right.

" Alright but we have to be careful," I said.

Kara smiled at me and we turned our com's on. Later we get called to the DEO. They told us that Alex had been taken by the Hellgrammite. We flew to the DEO.

" We should have been there," Kara said.

" We didn't think this would happen," Director Henshaw said.

" Yeah. Well it did," I said.

Kara and I started walking out.

" Where are you two going," Director Henshaw asked.

" To find our sister," Kara and I said.

Kara and I split up to cover more area. Then I hear an address through the com.

" I've got her," I hear Kara say.

" I'm on my way," I said.

I soon got there and saw someone who looked like Alura Zor-el about to attack Alex and Kara. I used my heat vision to send a warning.

" Get away from them," I said as I took my mask off.

The lady who looked like Alura Zor-el turned to face me. She looked shocked.

" Lor-an," she asked.

" Who are you," I asked.

" It's me your step sister, Astra," she said.

" No that's impossible," I said.

" Don't be stupid Lor-an," Astra said.

" My name is not Lor-an," I said.

Astra was shocked but then smirked at me.

" Leah-an my other niece," Astra said.

" There's no way I'm your niece," I said.

" I see your mother didn't tell you. Well, long ago your Grandma married my father. Your grandma had been with a Martian and had a child. My mother had died and my father found your Grandma. Then your mother betrayed Krypton by marrying that Daxamite! Alura remained in contact with your mother until your mother died. Alura was torn by the news. She wanted to meet you but Zor-el said it was a bad idea. Alura went to Lor-an's funeral after telling Zor-el she wouldn't come in contact with you. She kept saying how much you looked like Lor-an. I guess she was right," Astra said.

I was in tears now and I was shaking my head. This couldn't be true. I carefully put my mask on. I'm shaking in sorrow and disbelief.

" Stop lying to Leah-an," Kara yelled.

" I'm not lying to my other niece Kara," Astra said.

My anger grew now. I went to attack Astra. Astra caught me and threw me to the ground. Kara was next to attack. I wasn't going to believe in something that my mother hadn't told me about.

It all went by in a blur. Soon the DEO arrives and Astra ends up with a kryptonite knife in her arm. She got away but I know she'll be back. Now we're in the med bay with Alex.

" Hey. Are you ok," Alex asked.

" I don't know Alex. I just can't believe my mother wouldn't tell me that she had two step sisters," I said.

" I need to show you both something," Alex said.

She led us to a door.

" It will only open for one or both of you," Alex said.

Kara and I both put our hands on the hand scanner. The door opened. There stood two holograms. One hologram was Alura Zor-el and the other was my mother.

" Mom," I said.

" Leah-an my beautiful daughter," my mom said with a smile.

" You're talking as if you're really here," I said.

" That's because I kind of am there. Your father saved me by transferring my mind into some technology. Your father always came and told me how you've grown.  Then he sent me with you to Earth. Alex told me how you grew up and I even learned new things about this planet," my mom said.

I had tears in my eyes.

" I wish I could hug you," I said.

" I know sweetheart," Mom said.

" But I need to ask you something," I said.

" What is it," Mom asked.

" Are Alura Zor-el and Astra your step sisters," I asked.

" Yes," Mom said.

" So, Astra told me the truth," I said.

" Yes. Do you remember the day you met Alura and Zor-el for the first time," Mom asked.

I couldn't remember but then it all came back to me.

Flashback

I was three or four years old when I visited Krypton for the first time. Alura and Zor-el had just had their first born. My mother had brought me to meet the baby. My mother was introducing me but I wasn't paying attention I was paying attention to the little baby in Zor-el's arms.

" Would you like to hold her princess Leah-an," Alura asked me.

I nodded and they put the baby carefully into my arms.

" Princess Leah-an we would like and are proud to introduce you to Kara Zor-el," Zor-el said.

I looked at my mother for confirmation to say what I wanted to. She nodded and I looked back at Kara. Kara's eyes were open and I smiled.

" Kara Zor-el. I promise to keep you safe when I can and if I can. I pray to Rao that you are beautiful, strong, smart, courageous, and brave. I hope and pray that the feud between the daxamites and the kryptonians will end with us being friends. I hope you and I can create peace between daxamites and kryptonians," I said in Kryptonian.

I looked up to see my mother, Alura, and Zor-el smiling at me. I knew I did something good just by seeing the smiles on their faces.

End of flashback

I looked at the Hologram of my mother.

" I remember you were introducing me," I said.

" That's why we were introducing. I was saddened to hear about happened to Krypton and that my favorite step sister had died," Mom said.

" Excuse me Lor-an," Kara said.

I now noticed Alex left the room.

" Please Kara you're just as much as a niece to me as Leah-an was to Alura call me Aunt Lor-an," Mom said.

" Aunt Lor-an. Leah-an and I need information from both you and the hologram of my mother," Kara said.

" Of course. What is it," Mom asked.

" Tell us all you know about Astra," Kara and I said.

After we got our answers we went and picked up Ms. Grant from Catco. She was in her car. We brought her to a secluded area. Ms. Grant got out of the car and looked at the two of us flying side by side.

" We heard from James Olsen that you wanted to talk to us Ms. Grant," I said.

" So,  let's talk," Kara said.
