Make a Genius (Prompt) / Dialogue (Assignment)
(minor spoilers for an AU I don't have up yet at the time of posting, but I censored anything that could give away too much :P)
Prompt: Create A Charachter Who Is A Genius
George groans, no new search results, again! He'd tried like ten times with new searches about this strange phenomena, and found nothing more than a few posts from people saying they were curious about the same thing- but beyond that, no more luck!
Through the dividing curtain, Clay hears George's audible frustration and debates if he should try to help or just leave it be. After all one of the ground rules was to not talk to his roommate- even if it was a stupid rule he still wanted to follow it. So, ignoring the rule to keep the divider closed, he pulls the curtain back ever so slightly to reveal George's hunched deep-in-thought posture seemingly not noticing him.
Of course, George does notice he's being so obviously looked at, be he wants to give his roommate a chance to back off before he acknowledges it.
"Is something wrong?" Clay tries.
George's eyes flick over tiredly, "None of your business."
"You sound like you're struggling though, I mean we are in some of the same classes, maybe I could help?" Clay offers.
"It's not really about class..." George trails off, sitting back in his seat and switching tabs away from his true interest. His roommate had no business interfering with research about the villains plaguing his secondary life as a semi-superhero.
"Pleeeeee-"
"Fine," George cuts Clay off quickly, and even more quickly tried to think up an excuse as to explain his situation in a way which won't put his identity at risk.
"So, what do you need help with?" Clay flicks the dividing curtain back away to open up their respective studying areas.
"So... I like to go watch the fights," George begins to lie, then sees Clays worries expression and backtracks, "Uhh- just sometimes, and I always stay far enough away that I wont get hurt. But- In the- in the news, they sometimes catch bits of what they're saying and I figured whatever this weird villain organiz- uhh, stuff, is. I dont know, I just figured there must be something bigger going on and, I've collected enough clues to know it's got something to do with fire and a magic book?"
"Oh, The Age of Golden Fire?" Clay immediately offers, then seems confused, "You don't know about that?"
"That's a childerens tale," George sighs, sure this wont be of any help.
"Well it gets a little overexagerated but there's a great book on it in the library!" Clay surges forward for Georges rist and begins dragging him along toward the library before either of them have the time to bring anything with them.
Halfway across campus, George finally catches his breath and realises what Clay had been insinuating, "You... know how to use the library system? They still dont have the computers working!"
"Yeah, I mean, just because it's old doesn't mean it's not useful. Dewey Decimal is actually pretty easy to learn! C'mon!" Clay seems to pull even faster, and the air conditioning once they reach the library dosent offer any breaks as George is pulled up the flights of stairs two stories high.
Finally he's left be and Dream checks the card cabinets like he already knows where everything is, and rushes off inbetween the books to grab a hold of a dusty tome which looks to be about a thousand years old. Of course, the Redlands library just happens to be extremely dusty.
The book goes down onto the table and George struggles to make his way over without his loud breathing disturbing anyone more than their thundering footsteps had before.
"I only had to check because I forgot it it was under I for immortality, or Gold for, ya know, golden fire." Clay admits.
"Where was it?" George pants.
"It was under S, for Secrets of Ledgends Old, its part of a series, why?"

Assignment: Collaborate To Write Dialogue Between Your Charachters
(In this case when a character is doing an action it is being written by the creator of the character, so I only wrote the bits in which Dream was actively doing/saying stuff)
Harriet: I think they're a charachter who reads so many books that she knows all the cliche's AND that he's in a book and therefore makes all the right decisions and knows everything
(Very genius, good Idea from the guy who came up with her)
Mary-Sue(Sara/Sarah?)-Whatever-Her-Name-Is: Colege teacher and scientist, created a time machine and clone machine, is simultaneously: a clone of albert einstein, an escaped lab experiment, and the ancestor of that one guy who made computers. blonde pretty girl and she's very smart because she uses big words
(I literally love this so much, props to the girl in my class who made her)
"Okay class welcome to class," said Sary. Her long blonde hair was flipping in the wind (even though it was indoors, it's because they had a window open.)
"Today we will be learning about the library system," On her desk was her No Bell Prize and also her applies that all her students gave her because she was a very good teacher.
"Don't we all already know how to use it, though?!" Clay shouts from the back of the room in an attempt to (villainously) interrupt the class period. Of course this was against his will, as were all his other villainous plans.
"What?" Harriet asked, "I have never been in a library in my life..."
"Well that's okay," Sary enunciated, "That's why we are here in class, to learn about librarys. Clay if you already no about libraris why don't you tell us a few things?"
Clay clears his throat aggressively, "Libraries are awesome and they teach you things, and if all these little college students don't know how to use it then they can just ACTUALLY GET GOOD."
"Well, that seemed targeted, I must say." Harriet said, looking at Clay.
Sorry was wearing her cute tube top and miniskirt with cross earrings and red lipstick and a red headband her hair was in a bun, with high lacy socks and black high heels. And her nails and tonails painted red she looked like a vampire like Amy Lee She crossed her legs in her chair that she was sitting in "I agree Clay, we shouldn't attacc other students in the class. Harriet, if you've never been to a liberty we have one on krampus, it's to the left of the cafeteria/"
"I thought that was the janitor's office...No one ever goes in there. Except Clay that is. I thought he was really into cleaning."
"Ok but if it was the janitors office why is they're books in their?"
"ITS MY EVIL LAIR," Clay confesses.
"Hmmmmmm, suspicious..... Veeeeery suspicious..... And also, I've never been in 'their', so I would have no idea there are books," Harriet responded defensively.
Sari picked up her time machine descritly that was on her desk and wanted to rewind to the beggining of class . But then Clay interropted her
Clay uses his super special secret totally not visible manipulation powers to mind warp the time machine away, and it catapults through the window with a loud crash, hopefully not hitting someone on the way down-
"HYAH" he shouts like he's in a kung-fu movie.
"Why did you kick her time machine? And did you hear that smack? It sounded kind of painful," Harriet asked.
"MY TIME MACHI I MEAN MY NORMAL MACHINE" said scaly she quickly divide out the window after it.
"I'm going to take a wild guess, and say that thing was important to her," Harriet, "Well, I'm guessing, and keep in mind, this is a complete guess, but I think Clay, you are a superhero pretending to be evil, and Scaly, you are CLEARLY, a super smart clone person who has been cloned a TON and is now really smart, but you're also like the clone of Albert Einstein, but you're ALSO the grandkid of the computer inventor guy. Clearly," Harriet rattles off.
"OH NO, I'VE BEEN REVEALED," Clay says, transforming epically into his totally evil supervillain form in which he is totally not being controlled by another more evil supervillain.
"Ohhh, you're being controlled by another more evil supervillain aren't you?" Harriet asked Clay.
"T̡̨̤͎̦̀̿͌̏͠Ḩ̨̓̾E͕̠̱̒̓͠ ̺̤̘͊̐̌A͆͜G̡̙̠̉̉̕E͘͜ ̳͡O̙̘͗͛F̢̬̞̯̂͗͒͠ ̡̢͇̬̇̊͛͒GOL̘̒D̥͔͌̋E̺̭͇͕͗̿͑͂Ņ͡ ̱͞F͎͚̭̞͎̓̊̐͆̈Ỉ̲R̡̲̝̿̓̊͗͜É̝̓͜ ̺̖̲̥͚̔̑͞͡͠Ẇ̠͇͙̓͞Į̛͉̲̈͋Ĺ͍͓͡L̜̝͗͐ ̨̥͙̇͘̚Ċ̠̭̱̀̈O̫͞N̛̛̺̯̪̎S̪̐Ũ̡͙̘̱̳̊͆͛͡Ḿ̼̈͟E͟͞ ̙͙͞͞U̢͍͖̓̂̽S̡̡̛̠̠͌̄̀ ̧̽A̱͎̿̓L̰̝̻̖̂̐̀̉L͍͊ ̧̢͋̋I̝̣̰̓̍͘N͘ͅ ̘̲͉͍̏͆̌̍TH͈̙͉̣̒͆̎͝E̛͈ ̲̝̱͆̔̓͑ͅG̞͙̳̟̞͛͂̈́́̀L̗̝͙͚͛̀̕͠O̬͝RŸ̡͍̖̉͌̾͘͜͟ ̡̜̜͗̍̈O̱͘F̩̱̖̾̊̐ ̼͚̗̠͍̆̄͐͐͘B̯͇̈́͠AT̟̹̳̓͆̾̑͟TL̠̦̇̕Ȅ͙̲̺̂͞" Clay screams, words chosen by said evil supervillain.
"I bet your words were chosen by said evil supervillain," Harriet declared.

"Is [ censored ] the guy controlling you? Or do you just really like [ censored (animal) ]? And wasting gold?" Harriet asked.
"Yeah he's [ censored ], he's hiding under the desk," Clay says in his regular voice, pointing to another part of the room.
"Stifled GASP!!!" Harriet says, "Who could have seen this COMING!?!? Oh wait, I did. That's why he's actually in a CAGE right now and being shipped off to the vet for his flu shot. Mic drop." Harriet said.
"Holy guacamole," Clay says, watching his very human villainous master being dragged off.
"And that, kids," Harriet said, looking directly into the camera that was not there, "Is why you don't run with scissors."
"PREACH" Clay sits down, less villainously as his super disguise becomes less espooky. "But can we learn about anything other than libraries now?"
"Yeah, I still think they are stupid. Wait, should the teacher be back by now? She did jump out the window five minutes ago..."
I was literally laughing the entire time we were writing this together it was so funny 😭
