The snow began falling today. Right away, we all bolted for the park to romp around in it. It was nice, gallivanting through the frosty grass, catching snowflakes on our tongues, feeling the cold bite of the falling snow on our faces. Glaceon probably knew I would be there, since she arrived on the scene, impatiently urging her tired trainer to hurry. We ran around, chased each other, savoring the chilly jollity. 

After that, we all congregated at Glaceon's trainer's house for hot chocolate to ring in the season. 

Milly also filed our application for Worlds, which actually received a response very quickly. Again, we had our reputation to thank for the promptness of the service. We were entered early on, and a spot in the brackets was secured. We received a syllabus about the competition, and Milly has been pouring over it for nearly an hour now. I read through it a little, and as far as I can tell, here is how it will go:

First up, there are the battles, in which two Pokémon will be out per trainer at one time, duo-fighting it to the last pokémon standing. After that, there's a freestyle competition, a choreographed routine according to a theme that will be released three days before the competition day, allowing the contenders some time to prepare a semi-extemporaneous performance. Prancing around and looking pretty is my thing, so I think I've got it fairly down. During the competition, the contenders are given free room and board in a local hotel, and presented with a complimentary gift. Needless to say, very few can even expect a spot in the contest, since Worlds is a place where the very best go to compete. No ordinary trainer can make it in. Gym leaders even compete. The winner of the competition gets a staggering amount of prize money, glory to their hometown, a rare pokémon egg, and and opportunity to join the elite four. I know Milly. She doesn't play well on teams. 

We leave for the arena in a month, to bring on the new year. So, on that excited note, I abandon the pen for another day.
