This morning was absolutely amazing. We all were woken up at the same time and paraded into the living area, where we opened up our gifts. Dewmaru got three sword cleaning kits, which brought out lots of laughs all around. Apparently I wasn't the only one who was feeling charitable. He also got a really nice tanto, a japanese dagger that is fashioned after the manner of their acclaimed katanas and wakazashis. Milly was kind of opposed to buying him something larger than that for safety reasons.

I got a few rare candies, and a curler for my ribbon feelers. It was a joke gift from Milly. That goes without saying that I probably won't ever use it. Apart from that, I got this neat kepka. That's a russian beret-type hat. 

Everyone had an awesome time opening their gifts and thanking each other. Breakfast was a bunch of treats. Pokepuffs, cookies, other confections with our choice of milk, juice and eggnog were set out on the table in an appealing arrangement. 

We went out to the park as well, where a giant tree had been erected, and helped decorate it. Throughout, I heard phrases exchanged. 

"Fröliche Weihnachten!"

"Feliz Navidad!"

"Merikurisumasu!"

"Merry Christmas!"   

As I helped decorate, I felt really happy. Genuinely happy. I wanted to jump up on Milly's head and yell to the world how happy I was. Which is what I did. They probably didn't understand me, though. But I was happy, so that was all that mattered right then. I gave Milly, Dewmaru and every other Pokemon I saw there a big hug and wished them a very merry Christmas. 

I like this holiday.
