Competition: Day Two
Sports.
The next day's competition theme was more up Dewmaru's alley. Our costumes were these bright tracksuits, and Milly went shopping for props. She returned with badminton racquets.
We started practice early, when there wasn't a single hint that morning was on its way. There were still stars out, and a moon shone brightly in the sky.
We practiced volleying a ball of light to each other, one of mine. I controlled where it went, so there was less to worry about (that, and Milly didn't want to buy shuttles. Badminton racquets were cheaper than everything else but ping pong paddles).
This time, we had woken up two hours earlier to get more practice time in. We practiced nonstop until the sun rose, after which we ate a good breakfast, ran through our routine one more time and headed to the stadium.
Today was the same, only shorter. There were half as many competitors as yesterday, so things went faster. We performed earlier this time as well.
The extra practice time proved useful. We all performed flawlessly, and earned the second-highest score in the competition that day. That, added to our previous day's score, moved us up to third place overall.
Tomorrow's theme is "candy". Glaceon is looking forward to that.
I'm kind of sad that I haven't been able to spend much time with Glaceon since I've been back. Also, I should have mentioned earlier, but her name is Yui. I never clarified it, I wanted to keep that private... but things have progressed considerably in our relationship. I love her more than anything.
So, we're sleeping in the same bed. Nothing but practice until late. Competition tomorrow. Snuggling Glaceon. Short sentences.
Good night!
