We got to the newest town, the last one in this region. We walked away from the gym with yet another victory. This one was close though, with Dewmaru barely coming out on top at the very end. He's leveling up nicely. He could evolve soon. 

While we were perusing the local market, Milly picked up a pamphlet about some World Competition. She seemed riveted while she read it, and inspired when she finished. She wants to enter this competition, in which all of the best battlers in the world compete in a battle, and two showcases. I personally think it sounds like a grand idea. 

I told Dewmaru about how I finally was reunited with my mother. He seemed to be happy for me, though he turned up his nose slightly upon hearing she was a ninja, he himself being a samurai. The social status was a sharp difference. But he remained empathetic, and told me that I was lucky. He had never known his parents. 

Also, while we shopped, I picked out a nice black kepka to wear. It's a European hat that kind of looks like a beret... it goes well with the bandanna. 

I really miss Glaceon. I miss her so bad. I did establish contact with a Pidgey and asked him if he would send a message to a Glaceon in the next region over. He obliged, and I thanked him profusely. My message is on it's way, and I hope it finds her. Pidgey have a sense of things like that... but I'm still nervous. 

Until tomorrow, I must retire to sleep... lots of riding ahead of us, you know.
