So, the last few days passed without me getting to the old journal. A ton has happened since that time, and I feel better than I ever had. 

Oh, and by the way, Happy New Year! 

The ringing in of the new year was a bit less festive than Christmas, but it sure lasted longer! We stayed up until midnight. Until then, we played games, ate food, and visited. Milly did me an enormous favor and invited the trainer of Glaceon over for the celebration. Essentially, Glaceon and I spent the entire evening together, talking, eating and watching the movies that Milly put on for the guests. 

When midnight drew near, we both were engaged in a solemn conversation. Before then, we both knew how we felt about one another, but had never told the other. 

That changed. 

We entered the new year with the most indescribably joyful kiss I could ever hope to experience. I had never felt better. 

I still feel happy. I am the luckiest Sylveon alive.
