It was a chilly autumn day. October had sprung upon the grounds. I put a sweater my muggle  parents had given me, over my Hufflepuff robes

I am a muggle-born but aside the occasional 'Mud-Blood' name calling aside, it has its perks. For one, ME and my best friend Maria, who's also a muggle-born, freak the kids from wizard family's out.

Don't get us started on the story about crocs.

Headmistress McGonaglall never let us wear them again. Poor Scorpius Malfoy......

We laughed as Teddy Lupin tried some traditional muggle candies our parents had sent us. Maria laughed as Teddy ate a Sour War Head. He scrunched his nose as he spat it out

"Here! Try this one!" I said passing him an Areo Bar. He took it, but before he could eat it the headmaster stood up. The entire hall stopped talking.

“All students are to return to their house immediately. Professors, please come with me.”
She said in a low voice.

I slowly stood up. The hall buzzed with quiet confusion. "What do you think happened?" Maria asked. "Not sure...." I mumbled.

Well the Hufflepuffs walked towards the kitchen, I quickly fell back. I watched as a professor ran by me. My curiosity got he best of me as I slowly followed. I watched him turn the corner and listened to the headmistress.

"There Has Been a Murder." She said.

Chills ran down my back, I watched as they all ran up some stairs towards..... towards the Griffindor Tower.

I looked from the corner and saw what was going on. My heart dropped as i saw who was laying on the floor

I bursted into the common room.
The only kids there were Maria, Teddy, Hattie Jennings,  Kenneth Richardson Andrew King,  Estelle Hunt, Darla Dennis, Angel Gross, Scott Guzman, Jenny Conner, Joshua Reynolds, And Edgar Henry.

Maria quickly as she could ran over to me. Teddy quickly followed. "Where did you go? What happened?" She asked worried. I grabbed her and teddies hands.

I went into a corner of the room and sat down. They quickly did the same. "I heard McGonagall!" I whispered shouted. "What she say?" Teddy gasped. "Someone's been murdered..." I said quietly. "WHAT!?!?" Maria shouted.

Teddy shoved her playfully. "Shhh!" He said. "Who was it?" She asked nervously, biting her nails. "Uhm....." I Started

Her Short Glossy Red Hair Was Spread Out On The  Floor.
Her Once Beautiful Brown Eyes Were Dull And Empty.
Her Skin Was Pale.
But there was a gash of blood from under her clothes,
Obviously the work of a spell.

The Hallway Was Almost Completely Gone. Holes In The
Walls And Floor Caused A Cool Breeze To Run Down My Spine

"Lily...." I Said As My Eyes Gazed At Lily L. Potter.

"Lily. It was lily." I finally mumbled as I remembered her eyes.

Maria gasped and teddy looked down . I've  fancied lily since year one. She was amazing, smart, kind, loyal, and honest.

"H-How?" Maria asked.  "I don't know, but we have to find out. For lily." I said. Maria nodded but teddy looked unsure. "Is that a good idea? I mean.... what if we get caught?" He asked.

I thought about it...... How will we get past this.....

An idea hit me. I quickly ran to our dorms and Maria followed me. Teddy couldn't get into the girl's dorms.

I started going threw lily's things. Maria gave me a confused look but didn't say anything.
I finally found what I was looking for.

Lily had told us all about how she took her invisibility clock from her brother, Albus. I ran back down with the silky cloak in hand. "We use this." I mumbled.

The other kids weren't listening or paying attention so we put it over ourselves. I opened the door and we walked out.

"Where was it?" Maria mumbled. I put my finger to my lips and shushed her.
We rounded the corner and saw the place were the body had been. In its place was a faint blood stain.

Where'd She Go?

I wondered. I quickly stepped back, pushing the other two back as we heard footsteps come closer.

Suddenly the headmistress came around the corner accompanied by two boys.
The Potters.

I Felt So Sorry For Them. I felt maria tug on my sleeve. She looked helpless and more scared than before....

She slowly pointed upward towards one of the holes.

There was someone there. Someone...Or..... Something.

The Figure looked like they were wearing a cape over themselves. But in hand they had a black, thin, wand.

When the headmistress came to the blood splatch, she also saw a trail of it, as if someone was being dragged away.

The headmistress turned back to the boys, who looked very confused. They obviously hadn't heard the news.... yet....

We did Not want to be around for that.
Maria nudged my shoulder and pointed to where the figure was.
"He's Gone!" I Whisper shouted.

She nodded and we slowly walked out of the hole, careful not to make any noise.

When we were out of the hole, they took the cloak off. Teddy held onto it for them. They saw the hooded figure again and quickly ran after it.
"Wait!" Teddy yelles to it.

The fighre jumped in threw an open window.
We followed after it.

It ran around a corner amd we followed. I looked around the chillingly empty hallway. "Its Gone!" Maria exclaimed.

I nodded. I turned to Teddy, he was going quickly back towards the window they came in through.

He picked somwthing up "Look! It dropped it's wand!" He said
